Dr. Mangalick is very attentive to his patients needs. He is intelligent and knowledgeable of the current research and techniques that are used to provide for their best possible outcomes.His office staff is friendly and effective at working with your schedule and unique needs to do everything possible to help you feel better in no time.

Dr. Mangalick has been very caring and understanding of my depression and weight-related issues when other doctors have not. I liked the amount of time he gave me to listen. He seems very competent of todays health care system and is always trying to help me save money and cares about my safety. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Mangalick!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mangalick for a few years now. He is pretty no-nonsense, straight forward and does not try to treat your situation the way conventional medicine would have him do it, with a “drugs first” solution. He also understands that patients are tired of physicians who behave like attorneys and try to bill for everything/anything under the sun. He is also in a constant learning mode. He will tell you if he doesn’t know something and will research it. His communication is direct, to the point and honest. I appreciate that kind of treatment.

Dr. Mangalick is excellent- he takes time to listen, he is not overly quick to prescribe medication, and he considers the patient holistically. I never want another doctor, honestly. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

Reception was very cordial and friendly, as was the nurse. You can tell an awful lot about a doctor from the people he/she hires. I didnt know what to expect from Dr. Mangalick, so I was pleasantly surprised when we talked. Hes a natural communicator, and gave good feedback when I said something. Plus, he gave me information about medications that put my fears to rest. He went over pros and cons, and that in itself was unusual to me. I have no doubt that hes a good doctor and a decent human being. Hes natural, relaxed, and friendly.

I recently needed to change my PCP. After my first meeting with Dr Mangalick I feel at ease. He noticed skeletal things that could be done better. My first follow up 3 months later showed improvement in ways a thought would never happen. He is currently working on getting me on the right medsI found him knowledgeable and caring, nor only about my health, but the cost.I highly recommended him.

Dr. Mangalick is a great doctor. Hes friendly and seems to take a genuine interest in you. Hes also very efficient. Appointments start on time but you dont feel rushed. I highly recommend him.

I LOVE Dr. Mangalick. He has a concise, commen sense approach to medicine that I really like. He is also full of great advice to be proactive about your own health. I highly recommend him to everyone.It does test my patience to be in the waiting room for 45 minutes when I arrive ten minutes early. I believe this was an extreme situation, it doesnt always happen, but frustrating nonetheless.

Without getting into too many details regarding my personal health history I want to share how disrespectful and condescending Dr. Mangalick is. He scolded me about my weight, and literally shoo’ed me out of the patient room before my appointment was over. He was so mean and abrasive I was shaking while holding my composure but the moment I got in my car I bawled my eyes out. Never have I been spoken to in the manner he chose, and after reading several other women’s reviews I can see I’m not alone. After calling his office, he was too big of a coward to apologize for how detrimental his treatment was. Stay clear of this office if you want to maintain any sort of self confidence.

He is the best doctor Ive ever had. I love my visits with him he is so relaxed and confident.He has always shown the best interest in my health. San Marcos is very fortunate to have him in our area and I am so lucky to be able to call him my doctor. I love him. Hes the best!!!

Dr. Mangalick is a wonderful doctor and an even better human being. He spends a lot of time with each patient, listens to the patient, and has a real dialogue about treatment. I wish more physicians were like him.

Dr. Mangalick is an incredible doctor. He is super patient, very clear at explaining everything, and gives his patients tools to stay organized and save money as it relates to their medical history.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mangalick for a while now. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable over the last two visits. Both times he was very unprofessional in his demeanor. I left both visits feeling embarrassed and upset. I’m working on finding a new physician.

Dr. Mangalick is the most thorough doc I have been to in years. He doesnt just recite whatever solution happens to be in the doctors book of maladies he actually uses his brain and thinks about all possible circumstances that could be causing your issue. Hes smart and up on current treatment options. He also doesnt seem to be easily manipulated by his patients. If you are a drug seeker, try someone else. Dr. Vip is all about keeping you healthy with the least amount of intervention possible. I recommend him all the time. Hmmm....perhaps I should stop. I dont want him to be so busy that I cant get in for an appointment. Maybe I should rethink this....

This Dr. was completely unprofessional to me. He spent most of my appointment calling and arguing with the pharmacy I get my prescription from. He cursed while angry at the pharmacy. Was rude and condescending to me because of his office paperwork mistakes and questioned me about prescriptions I had refills for.He took his frustration out on me. I walked out because he was verbally and emotionally abusive to me. He did not ask about my health, medications or any concers. All he did was talk down to me. We argued because I did not put up with his treatment.I went to my pharmacy to pick up proof that his office sent in the prescription. I apologized for how he treated them on the phone. They said that he was rude and condescending and advised I should file a complaint. The pharmacy apologized for his unethical behavior. Our pharmacist are so kind and compassionate to people. They did not deserve the lashing that he gave them.He dropped me as a patient although he is not my doctor. I have been a patient of SMFM for 17 years and have never had a problem with anyone there. I filed a complaint with the State Board of Medicine.He was more concerned about himself than a patient. He did not even take the time to figure out what happened with the prescriptions, he just accused me. Had he taken the time, he would have gotten an answer. Paper trails don’t lie. He made me out to be a terrible person, verbally and emotionally abused me. He cursed in my presence and wanted to do all his administrative work during my appointment.Horrible treatment. Unethical. Unprofessional. Abusive.

Good visit! Dr. Mangalick shared information about how to stay healthy and compared new blood work with old. He was not rushed and everyone in the office was nice and considerate.

Dr Mangalik is great. When he meets with you, you feel like his only patient. He reviews your situation with you, and plans with you for your course of treatment.

I don’t like having to rate my experience with a number of stars, so I deducted one star only to indicate my disappointment. I went in for neck pain and a headache more severe and FAR more long-lasting than I’m used to. The Dr. did nothing more than a short, recent history before prescribing meds and sending me on my way. I spent probably 75% of my time at the clinic just waiting. No tests were ordered, nor did the Dr. so much as palpate my neck. Maybe they’ll shrug this off as me being naive about health care, but if so, that just reflects very poorly on the state of health care. Now my pain is no better even on more medication than I was prescribed, and I’m experiencing constant mild vertigo which occasionally becomes severe and takes me off my feet. This is very scary. The earliest they could get me in was four days later, which really isn’t bad at all, but under the circumstances I would like it if they at least suggested something else I could do in the meantime. This is very scary.

You know, when you move, there is that dreaded feeling of leaving the best doctors in the world behind ... The anxiety that comes with finding new doctors ... Lucky for me, I found the best doctor in the world! Kudos to Dr. Vip Mangalick!UPDATE TO THE ABOVE ...What can I say? A 180 ... You dont know who you are going to get ... Dr. Jehkl or Dr. Hyde!I agree with the patient that said he never looks at you ... Type, type, type! Doesnt hear a thing you say. Felt like cattle being herded through. I dont have the money or time to be dealing with medical issues each month. Some as simple as getting a prescription refilled ... Whatever happened to 90 days with 3 refills? Some Refills never even get taken care of ... Two were sent in October 2018 ... I guess they are still waiting!I have RLS and depend on medication to help with the pain on a daily basis. I also just had complete knee replacement surgery on the same leg. I have begged to have something prescribed to help with the agonizing pain ... An ache that doesnt give up! Do you think there has been any compassion shown? Nope ... Nada ...None!Sleepless nights for the last 4 weeks. Such a sad state when a doctor cant help you out! Go see a pain management doctor ... I need a referral and the request has been in his hands since the middle of April, and in the meantime, Im still in pain! Such a compassionate, caring, on top of everything doctor! Phone calls were never returned today! WOW, JUST WOW!!I find it remarkable that hes the only doctor that is taking new patients ... Because there is such a huge turnover?Try to make things as convenient as possible for myself but it looks like Ill be driving some distance trying to find a doctor that has my best health interests at heart.In Pain!!

Dr. Mangalick takes the time to clearly explain test results and offers understandable advice to follow his recommendations. He always has time to answer any questions we may have.

Of course I would recommend Dr. Mangalick!! He is very smart, caring, looks for the best solution for the patient care and does not rush you, like other doctors do!! He is pretty awesome, give him a try!!

Been there twice now. Wait time is minimal. Took me before appointment time on the second visit. Dr. Mangalik takes plenty of time to explain and answer questions with a no BS and straight forward attitude.

My favorite dr experience this far! He never does anything to make me think he is anyones pocket and he is very straightforward in his methods. I never leave not knowing and thats what I love.

Uses google to search symptoms, doesn’t seem to care about the patient. Extremely dismissive of anything you have to say or ask.
