Erin Burge, FNP-C

Erin is an outstanding provider who took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed everything professionally. I was particularly was impressed with her knowledge in womens health and felt very comfortable having her manage my care! 10/10 would recommend.

I had a really great patient experience! Everyone from the front desk lady to the tech that checked me in to the nurse practitioner Erin Burge was wonderful! When I got there I was checked in promptly, the front desk lady was very friendly, pleasant, and professional! The nurse tech took me back almost immediately and was very friendly, professional, and pleasant. She explained everything she was doing and educated me about their services there at the practice. She answered all my questions including questions about insurance. Erin Burge, Nurse Practitioner was amazing! She listened to all my concerns, took the time to explain everything she was doing throughout her assessment and was very friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. It was a stress free environment and I feel she really listened to my concerns and cared about taking great care of me. I would definitely recommend this practice and Erin in particular.

I came in for an annual exam (something I haven’t done yet in my adult life, oops...) and Erin was SUPER helpful and was so willing to explain everything to me, from how a PAP works to how to do self breast exams. I learned so much from this appointment, and I look forward to seeing her again! I’d recommend this office to anyone, they’re all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Love it!

I saw Erin Burge, FNP today for my annual visit. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. I alway have problems with blood draws but not today. Pearl did my blood work and was amazing, no pain or bruising. They deserve a 10 rating⭐️

Erin is by far the best provider I’ve ever seen. She actually listens and wants to help. She asks all the right questions and was able to help me with issues that 4 other providers could not help me with. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Often enough us laypeople see medical professionals and snotty and unrelatable. Not Erin Burge. I felt she was realistic, unpretentious yet incredibly intellectual and knowledgeable. I asked her to take a look at something off the cuff, no complaints! Typically a can you look at... while Im here results in being brushed off or told my concerns are nothing to worry about. I appreciate that she entertained my concern. She allowed me to get through my nervous talking (beginning of every appointment amirite?) which helps me to calm down.Literally, if you want facts, my heart rate dropped 35 points (err, beats?) from the beginning of appointment until the end. And THAT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN is scientific proof that Mrs. Burge is an excellent NP. Even my boyfriend cant calm me down and hes the gentlest of giants-- not like Godzilla but more like Hodor or a well trained St. Bernard -- but Erin did. At the end, She asked if I had questions... I didnt! The first time EVER I didnt have to bombard the provider with list or hurried questions because I felt I had been LISTENED to and everything was addressed.Youre probably reading this thinking wow this appointment probably took a long time and wow I want to meet her boyfriend but no the appointment was speedy, yet completely resolved and unrushed and no you cant meet my mans.

I went to San Marcos Family medicine this week for treatment regarding a bug I just couldnt kick. I felt like a flu goblin, but Erin and the nurses were amazing. Their candor, kindness, senses of humor, and general bedside manners really put me at ease and took a lot of the suck out of having to go to the doctors office. I have a new favorite nurse practitioner and highly recommend Erin Burge at San Marcos Family Medicine!

Ms. Burge was very patient and took the time to understand my concerns, and explain everything to me in detail about my condition. She did not rush the conversation. I really appreciated how i felt like i genuinely had her undivided attention. She is also very easy to talk to. Will definitely be going back.

I took advantage of the online checkin prior to arrivaing. Upon my arrival, I was immediately taken to the exam room. Erin knocked moments later. She was very attentive, empathetic and thorough. I felt extremely comfortable. Dr. Mengalick peeked his head in at the end of the exam to say hello. They also have a clinic for non-business hours. Great experience. Professional and friendly staff.

Dr. Burge is always friendly and upbeat. She really cares about her patients and goes above and beyond for our care. I can’t recommend her enough as a healthcare provider. Best FNP for any age!

Ive had nothing but a great experience every time Ive visited. Ms. Burge does an excellent job listening to her patients, and Ive never felt rushed to end the appointment like I have by other practitioners in the past. 100% recommend.
