I registered for my daughters appointment online for 3:45 on Sunday. We walked in at 3:30 and the doctor was talking to us by 3:45. She needed a prescription for an ear infection. Everyone was really nice and friendly. The doc also knew that our pharmacy was closed and sent the prescription to one that he knew was open.I really appreciate the staff being so helpful. Knowing I can make an appointment online and won’t be waiting for hours in a lobby with a sick kiddo helps with the stress of having a sick kid.

The most rude, inconsiderate staffing Ive ever had the misfortune of encountering at an Urgent Care. The MA refused the listen to my symptoms and threw the blood pressure cuff at the wall to secure it over my head. The NP wouldnt listen to me, do any tests and blamed everything on my age (Im 36). It was an enormous waste of time.

We have just moved here and have a medically complicated child so we were concerned about going to a Urgent Care.But the did a great job, listen to our concerns and needs and even connected us with a great family Dr. that was able to see us the next day.We were Impressed and So Thankful we found them.The Steele Family

I came in with a severe sore throat with trouble swallowing and breathing and they wouldn’t even check for strep or look down my throat. The doctor gave me nothing and said good luck. If you’re looking for wisdom and compassion don’t come here.

Brought my son in because I was concerned, he had pneumonia, they did not do a chest x ray,no testing & all they did was check his vitals and look in his ears. They said that he had an ear infection which may have been true, but my main concern was that he had pneumonia.That is why I was there. 3 and a 1/2 days later, when nothing got better, I went to the E. R and turns out I was right, he did have pneumonia. Dont bring your children here.Maybe you should listen to parents because they know theyre children best.

The woman at the front checking people in is absolutely rude and awful!! She was also talking, loudly, about another patient where we all could hear her. She actually tolded the other doctor that the man she was just with was faking it. Even if he was that should not have been made public to the waiting room! Aside from that she was so rude that we left and went to a different Urgent care. Cox and they were awesome!!

The woman at check in was so nice, but i came in with almost a 102° fever and they only flu tested me. It came back negative so Dr Bart sent me home and told me to keep resting. TEN hours later and i still have a fever of 101.7° and two positive COVID tests. I’m just so surprised they didn’t even test for that. Next time I’ll save my money and follow my gut.

Took both grandbabies in because they were really sick... they would only see one of them because of insurance.... fig they would just bill me later after getting seen, but they wouldnt see the other grandbaby unless we pain 130.00 up front... when is money more important than health.... medical is not like it use to be... now its all abt money anymore... long story short I took both kiddos to another place so they both could be seen...but wanted to make sure if u run into financial issues they wont see u...

The reception and check in went great, everyone was great. Some bald guy came in, never introduced himself- I have no idea who he was. Knuckle jabbed me a couple of times in the back, did a 1 second listen to my heart and that was it. Sad. Absolutely, sad. Ill never go back

The nurse practitioner who took care of me really made me feel at ease and assuaged my concerns. I was however shocked by the request to put a method of payment down without even knowing the max amount I could be charged for my visit. A practice like that makes healthcare feel unaffordable and inaccessible and I would recommend reconsidering this policy.

My daughter doesnt have a credit card, so GoHealth refused care, even though 100% of her costs are covered by insurance. She instead went to Ambulatory care the next day and was diagnosed Covid +. Epic fail on GoHealths part.

I have been there twice I will not go back. They didn’t help me at all I went in with an ear ache they just told me it was wax buildup. I had conjunctivitis they said they couldn’t treat that either. I didn’t get to discuss the chest congestion or cough I figured they wouldn’t help that either.

The medical service was good back in January of 2023 and I was charged a $50 copay to see if I had Covid…Billing was handled incorrectly by Mercy-GoHealth and my insurance initially denied payment…Mercy-GoHealth finally rebilled it correctly and my insurance paid it and informed me that there shld not have been a copay on this service… This happened sometime in April of 2024…I have been trying to get my $50 refund back ever since… Multiple emails and around 15 calls later I still don’t have my refund… The people I have talked to were very nice, although English was not their primary language, I understood almost all of them well enough to get the gist of what they were telling me…The problem is I never get the refund and every call tells me I shld get in 10 to 14 working days…I would advise not paying them a dime until your insurance tells you that you owe them something…I am surprised Mercy works with a company like this… Beware…Update… I finally received my refund… I almost passed out from the shock, but I did get… Thank you Mercy-GoHealth!!!

Very easy to register online. Nurses were great. So was provider. My only negative is the main provider (doctor?) did not introduce himself, so I had no idea if he was a doctor, NP, or what, I guess you have to ask. But the care was good and fast. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Location is easy to get to.

The NP was compassionate and made the best choices helping me with my migraine. Very much appreciated!!! Today I am without a migraine after having one for most of two weeks.

I liked The ease of scheduling an appointment when I couldnt get into my doctor for almost 2 weeks. The doctor was very nice and helpful. I did feel that the doctor was at a disadvantage. They scheduled appointments for every 15 minutes, plus they were trying to take walk-ins. When you do that neither the doctor nor the patient has time for maybe what they need or would like to say. I dont think they even had a scheduled time for lunch which is not good. Every doctor and nurse needs a downtime. And he was the only Doctor there that day. Kudos to the staff for working through that

Mercy Go Health on East Sunshine was a great experience. I woke up in the night and knew I needed treatment so I got online and made an appointment. I arrived about 20 minutes early. They got me in and out in about 25 minutes. I didn’t wait for a room longer than 5 minutes. They had to run a test and I got results and treatment in about 25 minutes from the time I entered the door and exited the door. For a doctor visit, it was a great experience! Highly recommend!

My husband was very congested, sore and swollen throat, tested positive on Covid home test was very rudely told it would be over a 4 hour wait or she’d make us an appointment to come back . Told her we were 30 miles away not counting pretty sick. Ask her if she could check the other urgent cares for us and she immediately said they were all behind also. Another’s patient hearing this offered us her spot and it made the receptionist worse! She kept telling the lady “you don’t have to do this, you don’t need to do this but the lady insisted and took our later appointment. We did get in the exam room and the assistant checking us in then was unbelievable rude!!Never Never go here they do not need to work in these positions!!!

My 5 year old got sick over the weekend and urgent care was our only option. I called because there were no more time slots. They told me that they don’t accept walk ins if the time slots are full, which is strange since it is a walk in urgent care. Then she said if we got there immediately they could see her. They swabbed her throat without even looking at it first and then sent us on our way after admitting that the sample wasn’t good. $50 and no treatment. They acted like it was more of a priority to get out on time then see my sick child and were actively turning patients away even though the place was empty. Would not recommend.

Went in 2/4 because I tested positive for Covid and thought I may also have strep throat due to all the white spots on my tonsils and they were swollen. Nurse acted like I was just a huge annoyance, acted very short me with every word she spoke.treated me like I’m an idiot when I told her I was there for Covid she literally said “what do you want us to do about it?” I said well isn’t there some medicine now used to treat Covid? She said “not for you it’s for high risk patients.” Then she tested me for strep. The doctor comes in and acts exactly the same way. And again literally said “what do you want me to do for you?” Again very curt like I’m really just annoying them. He went over a series of names of medications he could prescribe all of which were just over the counter stuff. and then he said do you want the Paxlovid? I said I don’t know you acting like it won’t help me so I guess not? He wrote me a note for work and sent me out. I got nothing but short, curt answers and attitude. Literally no help. See, what I think a doctor is supposed to do is say here’s your options here’s what they do, I think this would help or wouldn’t help etc … they just wanted me to go away.

First visit 5 starsSecond visit 0 starsI gave 2 stars for the benefit of the doubt that maybe this is a rare occasion since my first visit went so wellObviously the 5 star review was for meeting expectations in all areas. Roughly a year ago.The 0, is because the doctors treatment from the line of questions, tone of voice, physical demeanor application of treatment/assessment, was cruel. I was antoganized, berated and scrutinized for simply wanting a second opinion from a visit to another clinic earlier that day. Someone who is already sick, in pain and likely, if not obviously, having a difficult time phrasing his thoughts, was interrogated instead of treated, i was at a point in our conversation where i was actually scared to contradict the notes made with the exception for the one made that was polar opposite of the truth, regardless of how detrimental even a loose translation (such as vomiting blood vs blood in the mucus THUS blood in the vomit) can be in the medical field. Which is the whole reason a second opinion ,and second set of notes can be vital. Different doctors come across different things and different patients so they might be able to ask questions and be able to give different conclusions or guidance. Even if they do their full normal assessment and come to the same conclusion at least that will be comfort to affirm they patient is doing the right thing and nothing was missed. Yet, ultimately, me caring for my health and my ability to care for my family was an insult to this doctor and a waste of his time.

The provider here is okay. The nursing staff REALLY needs to revisit some education on how to approach pediatric patients with therapeutic communication in mind. Telling a 5 year old they need to quickly get their strep swab done because the other patients are waiting and acting annoyed when a parent says they will not be held down for their swab is not it. At all. None of the staff even took the time to introduce themselves to my daughter before trying to stick something in her mouth.

The nurse was rude and when I asked the Dr how to make a complaint he laughed and the visit was for my child. I then asked how to make a complaint and the Dr said figure it out yourself. I definitely would not recommend going here at all, especially if it is for your child.

I have had 2 experiences with the sunshine st urgent care location prior to today. Both were 5 star experiences. The staff were kind, friendly, efficient and competent. The 1 star rating is for today. I dont think it is an accurate reflection of the location overall.... but it was my experience today. My husband was treated yesterday... a 5 star experience. Today I needed a referral from urgent care so we could make an appointment with a surgeon. I called and asked for the referral. I was told i would be called back when the referral was completed. Several hours went by so i called back. No answer so left a message. I called back about an hour later. Still no answer so i drove there to talk to someone in person. The blonde nurse\receptionist with a high bun and headband helped me. Wish i knew her name. I am certain she was the person i had spoke to earlier in the day because she seemed to know exactly who and what i needed. She seemed very annoyed she was being put to task. She added the referral to the mercy system and i went back to my car to call the surgeon. Referral could not be found so i went back into urgent care, with the surgeons office on the phone to get things cleared up. When i explained to the blonde that the referral could not be located she was extremely short, full of attitude and annoyed saying, I dont know what they want. I gave her the phone to talk to the surgeons office. Annoyed. She was asked to fax over the referral to their office. Annoyed. Everyone has bad days, but this blonde should not be working with sick people.

Regrettably, my recent experience at the walk-in clinic was far from satisfactory. My 8-year-old son, who was all but diagnosed with strep throat, was denied a prescription for antibiotics, despite his brother currently undergoing treatment for the same infection. The doctor was wonderful and that entire staff were exceptional! 3 days later I had some questions so I called, I wish I would have asked that young lady her name because even tho I was not at the clinic she was so helpful and very patient with me. I have used this walk in clinic many times since it opened. I have been never been dissatisfied the way I was today. The blonde woman behind the counter for check in was EXTREMELY RUDE, dismissive, and borderline hateful. My son needed to see a doctor. He has been seen here before. We had never had a problem. Today was another story. If a person cannot provide a smile to a sick child, that person needs to find another avenue of income.

Very unpleasant experience to say the least. Rude staff. I had to listen to them talk about what they were going to do once they got off work, while I was in pain. I don’t understand why this place even exist. The Doctor wasn’t any help. He gave me his “diagnosis” and prescribed me with medication based on his “diagnosis” and told me with a smile that, “it may or may not help, but just keep an eye on it” He didn’t even have the professionalism and decency to refer me to anyone that could possibly help. Two hours of my life wasted. Useless!!! I guess now I wait to receive my $500 bill in the mail, my donation so they can hire more useless and uncaring individuals. You guys need to DO BETTER!!! Recently went in to get sinus and congestion issues checked out. Staff was extremely sweet and very quick to get me registered and roomed. I had a failed root canal over the Thanksgiving weekend and was desperate with pain. My dentist was unavailable on Black Friday, as were my primary care, and other dentists. I also checked Cox urgent care, and they were booked up until Sat. morning. The upshot is I was able to get a late afternoon Friday appointment with Mercy Urgent Care on East Sunshine. It was pretty slow, so I got in right on time. I learned they cannot prescribe pain medication, which I believe has to do with recent changes in the law. But they were able to prescribe an antibiotic, which made the infection recede and the pain go away. Thanks goodness for them, since everyone else was unavailable that day.

I went to this urgent care with my friend today. the lady in reception whose name is Kaitlin was not friendly and got attitude with us.She gave my friend’s id and credit card back in very impatient way. And the informations of my friend is NOT CORRECT. Every single one! ! Can you believe that?! When we went to pharmacy to pick medicine up and been told the first name, address, phone number and DOB were not match AT ALL! ! That’s so ridiculous and unacceptable in a urgent care which’s related to ppl’s health. Can you imagine if there’s wrong medicine and my friend took it?! I can’t believe it happened and feel not really safe to go there anymore. Very disappointing with that! Won’t recommend this place anymore!

Went in with my fiance because he has a hernia. They told us to sit then ignored us for over 20 minutes while serving others who came in after. Ridiculous. All we needed was him to be seen and referred to a surgeon. Will never go to this one again.

I went here in May of 2022 because I was concerned I had Covid-19. They decided to do a strep test as well. Both came back inconclusive. I was not prescribed anything or suggested anything. My Urgent Care visit that I paid the $20 copay for instead was billed as an Emergency Room visit. So I was on the hook for $120 more even though this wasnt an Emergency Room visit. After going in to discuss, being told to speak with my insurance company, then my insurance telling me to speak with them, I used a care concierge through my provider. The amount of trouble they had going through this GoHealth company was a nightmare. The care concierge and the billing people agreed that it didnt make sense as it was coded as an ER visit, especially when I paid the Urgent Care co-pay. I was told it would be reviewed and resubmitted. It had been on my bill until November. Knowing that these things take time, I left it thinking it would finally drop off after multiple people confirmed it didnt make any sense and was cut and try. Well, this last week, I get a collection notice that my bill went to collections. After spending all this time trying to get it righted, I just had to pay the extra.Please know by going here that Mercy has a deal with GoHealth Urgent Care, but they are not one in the same like Cox Hospital. This makes it even more difficult because getting a for profit subcontractor to rethink a bill is harder than one might think.I dont put this entirely on the people that work here, but to incorrectly code something when it clearly wasnt the case is egregious. To have a system that purposefully upholds to charge customers incorrectly is worse.

I cannot emphasize enough how useless of a visit this was. They lied to me about my insurance, had me wait an hour and a half (a full hour past my scheduled time), and then did NOTHING for me. The doctor didnt even bother wearing gloves??? Now Ive lost half a day, Ive wasted gas, I probably caught something from the doctor with no gloves, Im stuck with a bill for having sat in the waiting room all morning, and you guys didnt even address my issue. Like, I have an open wound, but thanks for nothing.

It would be nice if the legal department would work with a customer relations coach and train the staff at this location to have some finesse when dealing with people that have an urgent matter and not to act scared at their clinic with their issues as to blame “legal” instead of giving simple directions where we should have gone. Instead of them so terrified that they act incompetent when speaking to us about and acting out of FEAR from the legal department that they couldn’t treat our situation anyway. The Battlefield Marketplace did not have the same attitude and we were able to be seen, treated and on our way!I’m not interested in them letting who I need to email in their reply to this message. From reading the reviews, they will tell me they that do what they can and to email this department. I will let you know the reply to this means noting to me. I told them I would leave a 1 ⭐️ review, the front desk person said “we look forward to it.” I’m not convinced emailing my concerns to whomever they have suggest, means absolute nothing to me. An entirely average experience, especially right after going to the battlefield location and having a tremendously positive experience, this location was just lackluster. The wait time, even though I had an appointment, was over 3 times as long as the other location. Staff barely talked, didnt explain my options to me, and wouldnt let anyone come in with me (even though they allowed that at the battlefield location). Social distancing and isolation was still good though, and despite wait time, they were still attentive when they finally got to me

0 stars. I will never go back to this place. I made and appointment on 3/4/21 to get a tetanus shot and once I got there they put me in a room and I waited 2 hours just for the shot. I dont have insurance so I knew I was gonna have to pay upfront but for some reason they kept assuming I had insurance even tho I told them I didnt multiple times so they messed up on the amount they were charging me because they were trying to bill my insurance, which I dont have, so I was charged to separate times for a total of $125 for the visit. Then was told that the remaining $50 would be billed to my insurance, again I do not have, told them I dont have insurance. Finally they understood and said I would receive the bill in the mail for the $50 shot. Today 3/19/21 got the bill and it is $75 which is more than I was told. Called the billing department and was told that $25 was just for them injecting the shot. This is ridiculous, worst experience at a health care place.

I had a bad case of pink eye. I was there 5 minutes. They said they can’t prescribe eye drops at urgent care locations (doesn’t sound right but ok) and told me to go somewhere else for treatment. They then sent me a bill for almost $200 even though they did NOTHING. Mercy billing department wouldn’t help me. Don’t go here unless you want your money taken from you

Honestly, the people there were great! Super friendly and concerned! But, when I had a possible UTI, they were suppose to send the culture to the Mercy labs, but it was sent to quest diagnostics. Since it was not verified by the doctor to go there I owed $98 to them for something that should have been free. The doctor even said it was her fault, but have not helped me to solve the issue. I went there in April, and it still has not been resolved.Also if you have to go to the ER, they don’t put your deductible towards the ER Bill. They also can’t do any blood testing at all. It’s better to go to the old urgent care on National because it’s cheaper and they can still do all of the testing you need.

Had a nasty puncture wound on the back ofmy leg. Called for appt and showed up15 min later. Was brought right into a room. The staff and Dr very nice, efficient and funny too, bonus. Numbed me and gratefully so, then stitched me right up! It was quite a nasty wound I could not see so they took a pic for me. Returned 10 days for removal of stitches. In and out!

I didn’t even visit, and I won’t now. I am not from the area. I am a truck driver and would be in Springfield this weekend. I need to see a Dr and so I called to find out if they take my insurance and where I can locate them. The girl who answered the phone was short and snappy with me like I was bothering her. I asked for a more precise location, as I am not from there. She said East Sunshine. I asked for something around so I can locate it better and she said Jimmy John’s and then hung up. From the reviews I see in this town, I won’t be back! How dare her and how dare people be so rude! Obviously wasn’t raised to respect others.

Took my 1.5yr daughter here because she was vomiting and coughing thinking it was RSV… the Dr checked her throat and ears and said she had an ear infection. Never listened to her lungs or examined her belly. Three days later, we saw her pediatrician and she did NOT have an ear infection, she had the Flu that needed to be carfully watched for her age.

Very nice and updated interior; the front desk staff is also friendly and helpful. But the doctor who saw me was VERY distracted, barely looked at me, and in general, acted like I was wasting his time. I was there for a possible UTI, had all of the symptoms, but bc my test was under the threshold of antibiotics they could not do anything for me. (After I was the one who contacted them about my test results after days, they did not attempt to contact me about them even though I told them multiple times my phone number...they said they tried to send it thru my mercy online account, but bc I did not have one set up, I guess they did not care to try to reach me.) I told them that I was still having worsening symptoms, but they said the could still not give me antibiotics without doing the test AGAIN, which would delay me 3+ days, as they obviously did not care to make sure I got the results back.Fortunately, I was able to squeeze in an appt with me ACTUAL doctor and she immediately got me antibiotics. This center could have saved me two weeks of intense pain, I will not be coming in again.

By far one of the worst quick clinics I have ever visited. I went one time last year with a sinus infection and then again this year, and both times, the doctor did not do any kinds of tests, barely looked at my vitals, and had no bedside manner. Both times he sent me out saying, “It is probably COVID, so just quarantine,” with NO other helpful remarks or advice. I will never go back to a Mercy quick clinic especially if I am expected to put up with that type of care. 0/5

This facility is top notch! I took my daughter in and reserved an appointment online and it took less than an hour to get it all done! The staff was amazing with my three year old and made us comfortable and answered all questions with care. I have never experienced this at an urgent care and I will never go anywhere else. 👍

First and last time going to anything mercy related. Staff is very rude and over estimates the wait time hoping youll leave then when i did leave the first time they blew up my phone the second time i selected to leave and come back to get a call from the front desk worker where he was very rude and in no way helpful or decent. Cox will always be better because theyre kind and not confusing.

Front desk was great. I went in because Im tired of prescription allergy stuff not working. I was hoping to get a allergy shot. Dr.Weise ignored everything I told him of how the prescription allergy meds have never worked and instead recommended a zyrtec prescription I specifically told him hasnt worked in the past. When I asked about getting a shot he told me it just masked covid symptoms and if I get covid I would likely end up in the hospital and die. No joke, so now I have to pay a urgent care bill that did no good, other than they got another covid test processed.

After an er visit that was an extremely long wait. I went to this clinic for a sore throat and chest pain (post covid) The provider Guyer is one of the worst physicians I have come across. His attitude and demeanor was hostile and very upsetting. He did not care nor show empathy. It seems he already his mind made up before walking through the door. Btw this is same clinic that confirmed me positive for Covid.I was not trying to get him to provide services outside of his abilities but simply give medical advice until I could see my primary care physician. He over talked me and dismissed my concerns because chest pain was something he could not cure. Simple and helpful advice would have been appreciated until I could get back to the E.R.

Just an FYI, billing your copay is no longer an option and you will be denied service if you do not have it. Thankfully I have an insurance that covers both and the new CoxHealth UC on E Battlefield got me right in. Boy at the front desk at Mercy was very passive aggressive and even chased after me when I left to give me his managers contact information 😳 His tone and demeanor were that of zero compassion and creepy for following me out to my carUpdate: CoxHealth still offers to bill the copay amount. I was treated with compassion and understanding. I will probably go to CoxHealth UC on E Battlefield going forward after my experience with Mercy.

Even though I was feeling miserable, It was a great experience. Very organized and everyone was caring and helpful. The only reason for 4 stars was the wait. It was long but I went over to Starbucks and had coffee while I waited. They gave me a time when I checked in and it was very accurate. If I would have checked in online it wouldnt have taken so long. Next time I will know. If you are feeling miserable and dont want to wait in the waiting room, just checkin online, lie on your couch at home, and arrive at your appointed time. No wait. The Dr. was especially caring and concerned. I would go there anytime but live in Branson.

Went in after suffering a fall from 6 ft onto a concrete step. Dr says I may have cracked my pelvis but theres no treatment so x-rays wouldnt help. Here Im at a level 6 to 7 in pain and this genius recommends alieve . What a joke 125.00 for absolutely nothing. Guess they think everyones a junkie. Even those who are just in a lot of pain, this place was useless.

They put me in line for my daughter to receive care and told me it would be towards the end of the day. So I checked in online and waited for 6 hours. I returned to the clinic when I had 15 min left to wait in line and the staff locked the doors and left. I am still currently online but I don’t see how Mercy doesn’t have an online system like this figured out with today’s technology. I thought it was weird that I was in line for a time later than what they were open, but figured since Mercy kept me in line and with a count down going until my appointment, it was still on. Very frustrated, as most other urgent cares are now closed and my daughter wasn’t able to see a physician, because I wasted ALL DAY in a line the didn’t exist.

Please, do not waste you time going to this location!! My provider was “Bart” Guyer. He did not take time to accurately listen to my past medical history and took my symptoms lightly. His plan of care was conservatively weak. He did not take my past medical history into account. He said I could follow up with my PCP if I wasn’t better in a few days. Why on earth were we talking about seeing my PCP in a few days after I had already been ill for seven days and progressively getting worse? Why wouldn’t we fix the problem now? It was also evident “Bart” was trying to stick to his scheduled patients of every 15 minutes. He took only seconds to address my questions and was not clear on instructions with the medications he was prescribing. I left very frustrated. I went to pick up my prescriptions, read the label, and noticed that “Bart” Guyer is just a PA. At no time was I informed I was seeing a PA and not a physician. Once again, Mercy fell short of “care” and “service” as a health care provider.

Will NEVER go here again. For 200.00 my husband was REFUSED any medical care from Dr Bart. His advice to us was go to the ER even after his nurse told us that there was a 24/36 hour wait time.Dr Bart was the MOST UNCARING, UNCONCERNED, ARROGANT Dr we have ever had the misfortune to see. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! He REFUSED to give my husband antibiotics or steroids because his opinion was they would not help his Covid symptoms. What a waste of TIME amd MONEY.

The Doctor just look for less than 10 second and told me “this is a wart” I have no idea what is that and he told me to got some cream from pharmacy. Yesterdays appt was my very first virtual appt Ive ever participated in. Although, Ive a pcp in my home state of Michigan, I required immediate medical treatment. My second day in Springfield, Mo training for my new career, I developed a severe infection in one of my molars. Dr. Rhwmer at the West Sunshine location provided STELLAR patient care of my health care needs. The pain and swelling Ive experienced in my right cheek has improved considerably in less than 12 hours. Thank you so very much Dr. Rhwmer, you are truly a blessing to the medical profession!!!
