I genuinely am so thankful for Dr. Reidy and the Women4Women team. Dr. Reidy took me in at 36 weeks with my first child after having a poor experience with another physician. I have always felt validated, heard and cared for by their team. The combination of OB and midwifery is truly something unique to their practice which sets them apart. I also love that they value a good atmosphere. You will get the experience of “medical spa” in their office which is an additional plus. After I experienced a miscarriage, the team watched my pregnancy with my daughter very carefully which brought me a lot of ease. I highly recommend their team!
Finally found my new OB/GYN....Dr Nicole Alexander Wall. I am so happy and comfortable with my new Doctor because she talks to you like youre a person and not just a person with a problem, she explains everything that you need explained in such a clear way. She is very smart and I look forward to seeing her with my future visits. I waited a bit for my first appointment but she was worth the wait. Professionalism at its finest and I highly recommend her 100%
Sam is so personable! She delivered my sweet boy 8 weeks early and was sooooo sincere and talked me through the whole process. She is very easy to talk to and does not push anything on you that you do not want!
Their billing practices are awful. They made us $2000+ up front before services rendered. Stupid of me to pay, but i felt pressured because we were there for an appointment. No bill was provided at the time, and they still have not provided a bill. After rendering service, they settled with insurance and took the insurance money but also kept what I paid. I am owed the $2000+ back, and I have repeatedly asked them to pay over the last 4 months. They just give me the run around. They blame insurance, even though the claim is done. They claim refunds may take 16 weeks (why?) but were past that timeframe. They claim theres a message in their portal that I need to respond to (there isnt). They never answer the phone and they no longer respond to my voicemails.
Midwife Tiffany delivered both of my children. Loved her. She was awesome. She left. I needed a sterilization procedure done and was given Dr. alexander-wall. She was rude, dismissive, annoyed, and seemed bothered by my questions. She did not submit consent forms and fulfill the obligations for accurate billing to Medicaid which has resulted in me receiving a bill from the pathology department at Huntsville hospital that I should not be responsible for at all. The surgery went well, I recovered well, there were no complications. My scars are minimal, however, Dr. Alexander-wall lacks in bedside manner and has caused a financial headache for me with this billing issue. Otherwise pleased with Women4Women having had been with them for several years. Wait times were sometimes astronomical. But Tiffany was in high demand. Wish they would resolve this billing issue as I have enough to worry about without trying to triangulate between Drs and Medicaid.
Emily Craner MD was great. She listened to my concerns and let me know all the options available to me. The prescription they called in for me was not what I wanted after speaking with the pharmacist who actually called me. The pharmacist sent a correction back to the office, but I have not seen the new prescription come through yet. I also left a message with the office and am still waiting for a return call back.I messaged Dr Craner through their portal, and she responded by the next day.
I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Alexander. She is very easy to talk to, addresses concerns and questions and is genuinely concerned with your health and wellbeing. She has wonderful bedside manner, too. I am very grateful to have her as my doctor.
I have been very happy with Dr. Alexander to this point. She has been knowledgeable and professional. Today I had my first negative experience where I had questions about an ultrasound that was ordered and felt she got defensive rather than try to help me understand the answers to my questions. I am hoping this was just a communication issue and things get better as I am now nervous about my care going forward. My ultrasound experiences have also been interesting.
Women 4 women has always been a great experience for me. The staff is kind and caring and Dr. Reidy is so sweet. I brought my baby in that she previously delivered & they were all so accommodating with him during the visit.
Dr Craner really takes her time with her patients to listen and address their concerns. Didnt feel rushed or ignored by her or the staff. Also enjoyed talking with nurse Rhonda, who also took her time with me and explained everything that was going to happen and my options
Love Dr. Craner so much that I followed her here from her previous employer in Birmingham. Shes been my OB for about 4-5 years now. Shes so thorough and always has amazing bedside manner. She cares so much about your health even concerns you may have outside of your vaginal health. As a patient with asthma & pcos, Dr. Craner listens and cares about all of my concerns even down to weight management. I would highly recommend Dr. Craner for anyone seeking a new OB. Shes friendly, inviting, and never rushes you. Her nurse is also personable and friendly too. Shes worth the drive!
Very professional team. Love the office. Love my new doctor. She was so full of energy! Highly recommend!
I can not say enough about this beautiful place. They have been amazing, thorough, aggressive and FAST! On my very first visit I had an ultrasound. They are a God send. I am sooo thankful I found this place.
I will give a two because after all the Nurses, Doctor Alexander and Midwife Malary was great! I’m not one to focus on the negative or to neat pick every single thing. I wanted to wait before I write a review on my experience, I wanted to give it a chance and speak on the whole experience not just one single thing. Nobody’s perfect Doctors, Nurses, Midwives and the whole staff they are human just like usFrom telling me to pinch my ears by my provider when I’m sleepy behind the wheels because I’m exhausted from driving 3 hours in a day for work and work 8-9hours and being heavily pregnant , to missing notes about my iron transfusion that they referred me to get, to not being available to deliver me and when I got diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia which is very serious my doctor was never available for any of those things. She visited me the day I was getting discharged from giving birth though. Which that can happen again I’m not the only patient and the priority. When I first called the office from my first appointment, they asked me if I wanted a midwife or a doctor. I chose a doctor but now I think I should have choose a midwife instead, she was really kind. After Delivery they had to ask me if I’ve ever gotten an iron infusion because the Doctor that visited me could not find that in the notes. At my postpartum check up, my stomach was not checked, my cervix nothing, I did not get checked down there at all. I guess that’s how it’s supposed to go. I did get a blood pressure check and a mental health evaluation. Now I’m not sure if it’s a discrimination thing by my provider but overall I think she lacks people skills. I don’t think she cared about me as a patient a paying one at that. After pleading with my exhaustion I did get a doctor’s note.My maternity leave paperwork was filed with no problem. My mental health is not the best to return to work and of course I’m still dealing with the high blood pressure, I needed an extension of an extra 4 weeks for me to recover at some degree. I sent a message in November 25th with some paperwork that required the office to complete the medical portion and send it to my case manager. Well first, someone replied on the 2nd of December to tell me that it would be FMLA without even asking. I politely corrected them and said it’s to extend my maternity leave on December 3rd. Well the next time they message again was on the 10th of December to tell me that they’ve completed the documents and it’s $15. I specifically said I’m due back to work on the 9th it’s due before then! That was really messed up.Now y’all be the judge, again that was my experience that doesn’t mean it will be your experience as a patient.
Dr. Craner is a SWEETHEART!! She truly cares for the health of her patients & their babies!!! My family and I moved to Huntsville a little over 3 months ago from Georgia and I was already 27 weeks pregnant when we moved so getting a new obgyn this late in pregnancy was scary! But the first time I saw Dr. Craner she immediately knew I had severe preeclampsia that my last obgyn had not diagnosed… long story short I ended up having to have an emergency c-section at 29 weeks 1 day but when I tell you Dr. Craner made this as smooth as a process as she could she made sure to answer any questions we had and she continued to check on my baby and I throughout my entire hospital stay, this meant so much to me!! I also want to recognize Dr. Alexander as she was the one who was the on call dr when I had my c-section so she preformed it she also did an amazing job! Women 4 Women is really the best with the sweetest nurses as well!
I have been a patient of Dr. Reidy for over 7 years. She has always addressed my issues and did a fabulous job on my hysterectomy and prenatal care with my daughter 7 years ago. Highly recommended!
Dr Alexander was amazing. Very informative. Plus you can tell she listens and educates so you can make a great plan together- one of the best doctors Ive ever visited. Looking forward to attending women4women moving forward
Dr Alexander was great she answered all my questions. The tech that did the ultrasound was respectful and informative. The 2 receptionists were very indifferent and didn’t seem very pleasant.
The receptionists and the billing department are absolutely horrible. Rude and unprofessional is putting it lightly.. they will demand money that you do not owe them. They will also harass you with rude phone calls and messages. These women are not for the women. They are heartless and enjoy harassing other women.
Really have enjoyed seeing Nicole Alexander. She really listens to all my concerns and seems to really care when in the room with me. The only complaint I have about this office is the lack of empathy front desk and nurse. I came in today knowing I was going to have to talk about options of terminating my pregnancy due to an unfortunate circumstance. The nurse seemed to have no background on my situation which made me have to relive so moments I wasn’t ready to have to talk about.
If I can give 1000 stars ⭐️ I would. Dr. Craner is the best. I hate she’s no longer in Bham but I have no problem with traveling to her to Huntsville to receive the Best Care. Thanks so much Dr.Craner for loving what you do and taking good care of me.
0 stars if I could. Do not trust them. They are crooks. I called ahead to find out the cost of a self pay appointment and I was quoted $150.00 for the appointment in total. At the time of the appointment, Racquel at the front desk took my payment for $150.00 as expected. I asked her for an itemized receipt which I received, and it showed the $150 due and the payment for the same. A week or so later I received a bill in the mail for another $150.00. Assuming this was a mistake, I called them to ask. As it turns out, they failed to tell me that the bill was actually double what I was told. They said there was nothing they could do, but apologized. They lied on the phone, and they lied at the appointment time when I PAID and received a RECEIPT. I called a few more times because I just could not pay this bill. I do not have the extra money. It’s wrong. I finally got them to agree to write off a portion of the payment. Long story short, no matter what I did - calling, messaging, calling again, no one would take care of this as they promised they would. There were technical issues, but they entirely stopped responding to my calls and messages. Look at the screenshots of their promise to write it off and the original paid bill on the date of service. They have now lied to me numerous times about various things. I would never trust a company that operates this way. I am appalled and disgusted with this company. It gets worse. Now I am in collections for this payment (I have NEVER been in collections). I am livid. And I am still not done with this horrid situation. I have repeatedly asked for help and no matter what, I can’t get it. I just want to be done and be taken out of collections.
I am so thankful for Emily Craner and all she does as a OBGYN. She’s been on top of everything during my pregnancy. Couldn’t ask for a better Dr
Excellent bed Side matter. This was my first time meeting with her. She was very friendly, she’s very thorough and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m looking forward to her being my doctor for the long term.
Samantha Walls is very empathetic, patient and kind. Her energy is very warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable to be transparent and open. The staff and the ambience are so incredibly amazing. So, thank you so much Women4Women.
Dr. Craner is always a 10 out of 10 very professional very nice and remembers you. She recently just moved to Huntsville and I followed her from Birmingham. She’s excellent at what she does.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. This place is running a heck of a scam. They will demand your entire deductible plus co insurance up front even if you do not owe it. They will also hold the money until after you give birth, and then state that it can take 6 months for them to give you a refund. The state of Alabama insurance law says they have 30 days to give you a refund after overpayment. Not 6 months. Once they were threatened with going to the insurance board, they instantly gave me my refund. I also paid a $50 fee for them to sign an FMLA form for my employer, and they didnt even sign it. I gave birth in September, and they still have not signed the FMLA paper for my employer. I was going to let it go until I got the rudest phone call today stating I was in the office on November 8th and I didnt inform them that they gave me a refund for the $50 for the FMLA form they never signed. I have proof of receipts in my patient portal that I paid the $50 and never got a refund for it. I have all of my receipts to back up everything.
Dr. Alexander was great. She was very knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns and provided evidenced based options. Her office was very efficient at getting other parts of my care coordinated. Would recommend without hesitation
Switched to Samantha Wall after my NP moved, she’s fantastic and makes me feel comfortable when I’m there!
Today I wasted the time at least a week. I made an appointment online on Aug. 27 and tried to make at least 10 phone calls to inquire about a few things, but never got through. Later, I visited on the date I made the appointment, but the receiptionist said the doctor wasnt there, and when I asked i already made an appointment but why she wasnt there, the answer was just that I didnt know. It is really simple, isnt it? I wonder how you would feel if you went to the hospital because you were sick and heard an answer like you did today.
Dr Alexander is the BEST!! She is amazing and cares about each and every one of her patients! I feel so comfortable meeting with her every time!
Billing department is a total fraudulent scam. I do not recommend this place to anyone. You can view the rest of the 1 star reviews to see that they will demand money that you do not owe and then refuse to give you a refund for 6-8 months.
All the providers have been amazing during my entire pregnancy! I’ve seen Lindsay for most of my pregnancy but saw Samantha today and all I can say is wow! They take their time to make sure I am comfortable with what’s going on since this is my first pregnancy and explain everything. They are always there to listen. Would recommend Women 4 Women for all OBGYN needs!
Dr Alexander-Wall is amazing. She was my OB my whole pregnancy! She genuinely cares about her patients & listens to your questions & concerns. Dr Reidy is just as awesome—she did my C-section after I became preeclamptic, 4 weeks before my due date. 10/10 would recommend either one.
Just had my annual appointment with Dr. Reidy and she’s probably the only doctor I’ve ever been to that NEVER makes me feel rushed and takes the time to ask me & answer my questions! Highly recommend. Some of the other staff I dealt with weren’t super friendly but not outwardly rude or anything.
Dr Alexander listened to my concerns. She went over all options with me. She made me feel comfortable and really showed empathy for me. I am greatly appreciative of that.
Dr Alexander was warm, comfortable to talk with and listened to me. I love her calm easy style. Highly recommend Dr Nicole Alexander!
I was referred to this facility by a very good friend who spoke very highly of the staff and care provider by the physician. I have to agree the staff is very pleasant and Dr. Alexander was very attentive and took time to answer any questions or concerns.
I had a very nice experience. I appreciate being heard and provided with clear solutions and options. I look forward to this journey!
She’s beyond personable and knowledgeable. She has an amazing bed side manner and she doesn’t hesitate to connect and answer any question or get you the answer.
I was very nervous about my appointment today.Dr. Wall was very understanding and took care to help me know what the procedure was and what my possible outcomes could be.
DO NOT use Dr.Reidy. Making an appointment took me 12 phone calls to actually get an appointment. Though, Dr. Reidy has multiple awards Dr. Reidy has the worst bedside manner and communication . Her nurse Katie and rest of staff was wonderful.
Excellent care and efficient service!! This is my second year with Dr. Alexander and I truly feel she cares and is extremely knowledgeable and thorough while still somehow remaining efficient. I couldn’t be happier with this practice.
It’s dang near impossible to reach the front desk to schedule an appointment. The voicemail says to leave your name and number and we will call back promptly but that’s not true since I’ve been calling since yesterday before lunch. Whoever thought of this idea is clearly not doing their job.
Ive been a patient at Women4Women for 7 years now, and I absolutely love this practice. Ive been seeing Samantha Wall for 2 years now, and she is great. Shes very kind and patient. She answered all of my questions and listened to my concerns. She even had my referral ready to send before I even had a chance to ask about it. I cant say enough great things about Women4Women or Sam. I love this practice.
GREAT OFFICE!!! GREAT OFFICE!!! Dr.Amanda Alexender-wall is the best exceptionnel Dr. i had a High risk pregnancy with high blood pressure I was becoming very stressed taught I could probably losing my baby she’s welcoming me with a safe compassionate give me hope every time I work trough the office she’s taking care off me and the baby, she knowledgeable and calm I have my baby at 34 weeks due to preeclampsia she also did my C-section it’s went very well she did an amazing job with the others Doctors the staff!!! I’m highly recommend her thank you. Way to go Bree !!!!🥰
Ive visited for a couple different appointments now, and Ive never had such a positive experience with a GYN before. It feels like sometimes doctors stop to treating their patients like people, and I never got that feeling here. I would very highly recommend this place!
I’m post menopausal and am having issues. Dr. Alexander and her nurse took their time with me and didn’t dismiss me like others have. She is extremely knowledgeable and helped me find a direction to solve my issues. I left happy and hopeful. The whole staff is amazing!!!
Very good. Especially doctor here is take time listen to you and asks questions.Front desk check in staffs need to be more friendly though.
This was technically my second time meeting Sam, but it was my first appointment with her. Loved her and she answered all the questions i had for my 35 week follow up❤️. Im glad they make you meet all of the midwifes thatll be on staff.
This place is NOT worth anyone’s time. I called 20+ times, and not a single answer. It is completely unprofessional and ridiculous to not have a single person working the phones. Or the staff just simply doesn’t care to pick up the phone. If I could give this place a zero star rating I would.
Best staff!! Best Drs!! Best nurses!! Best midwife!!!I used Samantha Wall during my pregnancy and delivery and she was absolutely amazing! The staff is so nice and welcoming and so are the nurses. Just overall great experience!
Today was my first visit with Dr. Wall and (Alexis) they were incredible. I love that her approach to medicine is to find the root cause instead of a quick fix for the symptoms. I have never felt more comfortable speaking to a physician before, I appreciated her sensitivity and honesty throughout my entire visit. The entire staff was so helpful and kind. You can tell everyone is happy to be at work and truly cares about all of their patients.
Great experience. She was knowledgeable in my medical needs. Completed cancer screening with me.
Everyone is so friendly. You can tell they honestly care! I left feeling so cared for and blown away about everyone. So an overall good staff.
Dr. Alexander delivered my baby at Huntsville Hospital four months ago - my prenatal care and delivery were excellent. I was able to do the Fresh Test for glucose testing, able to go a reasonable amount of time past my due date, go into labor naturally, and decline reasonable unnecessary treatments at the hospital. All of the staff were extremely kind and caring. Dr. Alexander listened well and was very gracious to my requests and the whole experience was really wonderful. My only complaint is that when the office asked about doing the genetic screening, I was told that it was always completely covered by insurance. Only to receive an $800 (originally $5,000 until the lab reduced it for us) bill from Natera, the lab, a few months later. I feel Women4Women should have done their due diligence to make sure this was actually covered by my insurance, or at the very least tell me to check it out first, instead of making false assurances. If I had known it would be so expensive and not covered by insurance, I NEVER would have agreed to have it done. Other than that careless and expensive issue, I was very pleased by this practice.
My experience was great. Only thing is you can never get a nurse or anyone on the phone to help you other than an operator who will transfer you to them for them not to answer.
I love this office. Every woman knows we need a good gynecologist for ourselves, someone who will be amazing, gentle, caring, kind & most importantly let us (women) be ourselves, being comfortable enough. Speaking to the younger women, we all want that too. Dr.Megan Chandler is amazing, she is everything above that I mentioned and her character is lovely her personality is goofy and down to earth, a very humble woman. I been in hsv for 2 years now and I been traveling back and forth to my gynecologist back home but I nice lady name Lonnie, recommended me to come to this office, & my exact words to her was, “I want someone who would make me feel comfortable enough I can talk to her like one of my girlfriends”. She referred me up with Dr. Megan. The environment is clean & organized, the staff is nice and friendly. Shout out to Nurse Megan she is a wonderful nurse, she will be the first person i see for my appointment before the Dr comes in and she is amazing, she asks all the questions to help with notes. This office has a fantastic team! #WOMENRULE!🌺🩷
Good luck talking to anyone on the phone if you ever need something serious the lack of communication is AWFUL so many reviews of people saying they have been straight up scammed too????
Dr Craner was very professional and caring! She was compassionate about my problems and the pain
This was my first appointment at Women 4 Women. It was a very good experience. Loved Dr. Alexander and her nurse. Check in and out was quick and easy.
Loved meeting and working with Samantha Wall. My husband and I really appreciated her intentionality, sensitivity, and knowledge. She’s the best provider we’ve encountered since moving here:’) and are very grateful to be working with her, especially after three early miscarriages. She explained every single test result and went into detail regarding ultrasound. She offered even additional information, advice, and possible next steps. We felt seen, heard, and cared for. Just overall so grateful she’s at women4women.
First baby, first pregnancy and Dr. Reidy has made it a breeze! My husband and I enjoy her and her staff very much!
Dr. Alexander is the best. So kind and listens to any concerns or comments that you might have. Always feel welcomed and safe in this office and it’s been a great experience since I’ve moved to Huntsville. Thankful for the pleasant staff!
Dr. Alexander-Wall is the best. She is calm, cool and confident. She cares about her patients and listens to their concerns. She explains everything so clearly. She has performed a couple of surgeries on me now and I am so thankful for her delivering my baby boy safely.Edit to add- all of the staff at W4W are wonderful and sweet.
Dr. Reidy and her office staff are great. They are always prompt and punctual. Dr. Reidy is very personable and sweet. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences since becoming a patient of this practice.
W4W is a good clinic and Ive always been fairly happy with my providers there. Wait time can be a bit long, but recently have not had that issue. Also, I just started seeing their midwife Sam Wall. She is next level amazing! Very intelligent and willing to explain/answer any questions, great bedside manner, I cannot wait to deliver my baby with her.
Great PracticeVery personableDr Alexander was very hands on and really listens to your concerns. A plus
Had an appointment scheduled for over a month & I walk in my appointment and the receptionist tells me they no longer accept my insurance. Wondering why someone couldn’t have called me in the past month to tell me this. Very annoying. Finding a new doctor.
The doctors used to be great but it seems they have different priorities now. They now will spam you with messages about cosmetic procedures and impersonal appointment reminders. Specifically they started sending me weekly texts/phone calls for medically unnessary services. I unscribed from their text messages but everytime I answered their calls I just got a robot. I figured they would stop eventually but then a couple months later, without ever talking to me, they scheduled me for an appointment I never consented to or wanted. I finally got a hold of them to tell them to stop calling me and also confirmed that had I not shown up to this apointment they would have charged me a no-show fee! Im done with them and based on the reviews it looks like Im not the only one who has seen this change in the past year.
Dr. Alexander and her staff were awesome very nice professional and actually took the time to sit and talk to me about my results and next steps
Samantha Wall is newer to Women 4Women but she has the same amount of time as Tiffany the other midwife. She is really kind and has a wonderful heart. Samantha has worked with me Closely during my second pregnancy with my son that will be here in 8 weeks. I have anxiety and she has kept me confident and reassured this whole pregnancy. If you pick her as your Dr I promise you she will take great care of you and give you peace of mind. Thank-you Samantha.
I usually have terrible social anxiety but everyone here makes me feel so welcomed. I love the energy they greet you with no matter how many times they’ve seen you in a year. Dr. Alexander is very sweet and informative! 10/10 recommended!
Women4Women was the first OBGYN I found upon moving to Huntsville 2.5 years ago. They initially did okay, and diagnosed me with PCOS after years of symptoms. However in my time there I somehow went from seeing an OBGYN, to an NP, and later had my care transferred to a midwife without my asking, before I was even pregnant…They were able to prescribe me medication which helped me get pregnant. The problem was the lack of staff knowledge and care for me as a patient, inability to reach them by phone to manage my care, and disregard by different providers and staff when my main provider was not around (which was often as the midwife only worked 2 days a week, the office is only open 4 days, and they close 1.5 hours for lunch every day). I had to call multiple times to get any answers, nurses answering phones often didn’t know who I was or how to help me, and leaving a message rarely resulted in a call back. The messaging system in the portal is only good for minor issues as it always took too long to receive answers back for anything more urgent. Overall, they just aren’t reachable or caring, and I felt like I had to advocate way too hard for myself at this office. At 9 weeks pregnant I had a sudden bleed and went to the ER. When I called to follow up with them, I was told they had no openings for me to get an ultrasound done to check on everything. I waited on the phone and pushed to be seen, miraculously a cancellation opened up for the next day. Fast forward to the appointment and they were absurdly negative about my situation despite baby looking perfect on the ultrasound. They told me, “Usually we don’t see baby looking this good after what you experienced.” After what it took to even get pregnant you could imagine the absolutely lack of hope I felt despite the fact that baby looked perfect. And I decided I didn’t want to feel that way my whole pregnancy, so I have since found a new provider who is much more responsive, positive and a better match for me!
Sam was great! She throughly explained things to me and really helped me. I highly recommend.
Samantha Wall is great! I was wanting to see a midwife this pregnancy and I’m so glad that she’s at Women4Women. She takes the time to explain things (like when she went over all the details of my ultrasound) and is also happy to answer questions. She is also kind and patient (I had two of my littles with me) and seems very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her!!!
Samantha Wall is amazing, she listens to your preferences and goes above and beyond to make it happen for you, as long as it is in your best interest. She elaborates when answering your questions so that you are fully informed. You can tell she really cares about her patients!
Elizabeth is so very friendly, gentle and knowledgeable. She always makes me feel at ease! Dr Reidy is the very best OB of all time!!! She has delivered all 6 of my babies and I would never see anyone else! She has always been so wonderful and acted with great knowledge and grace throughout all of my pregnancies, labors, and deliveries. Everyone at W4W has always been very responsive and treated me with respect and allowed me to share my thoughts, opinions and wishes. You couldnt ask for a better staff for all of your OBGYN needs!
Doctors/providers are awesome but the staff ruin the experience. They do not handle scheduling routine appointments or surgery efficiently and then blame you when they don’t follow up with you. Trying to communicate through the patient portal also doesn’t work well. I don’t feel comfortable undergoing treatment at an office that can barely schedule my appointment, much less file my insurance or help me communicate with my doctor if there’s an issue. Really disappointed and upset with my experience.
I used to recommend this office to everyone. I had nothing but good experiences for years. This past month, I have been really disheartened by the lack of communication, empathy, or consideration for my care. I used to see Tiffany Golub and she has apparently left. I was scheduled with a different provider without notice so I inquired about the change. I called and the person that I spoke to was flippant/dismissive of my concerns. I sent 2 messages in the patient portal with 2 weeks in between and heard nothing back. It has been a month and I have received 3 texts asking me to reschedule. I called again today to ask them to stop texting me. I admit to being irritated but I was not rude or irate. My concerns were met with a complete lack of empathy and I was cut off mid sentence. She did say that I would be removed from further communication, which was my request, but I am incredibly disappointed. I will be finding a new practice.
I have struggled finding a gyn for years ... I never felt important or that my concerns or needs were being met. My search is finally over EVERYONE at the office were so nice and professional. The facility was immaculate and a beautiful office space. It was very welcoming and Samantha made me feel cared about and not like she was trying to rush me out. They took their time and answered all of my questions to the T. Im so happy I found women for women. If you havent found your place this is it !!!!!
I loveee this place!! This is my very first pregnancy and I was in a need of looking for a doctor and ended up looking through and finding that I would love this place !! All the workers are very helpful and understanding and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!! It isn’t always packed and the timing is perfect!! Dr. Alexander is sweet and very helpful and so are the others !!! I thank this place for the opportunity to be one of their patients!!
Love this place. I always feel so comfortable talking to the providers here. They are all very welcoming!
I have had a really good experience here so far. The only thing I would complain about is the insurance side of this office. I know it’s probably something they cannot help, but when I had BCBS I was told I had to pay a pretty hefty amount by August (I started seeing them in June). Thank god I switched to medicaid, because now I rarely have to pay anything. OTHERWISE, the staff is efficient and kind. I am seeing Dr. Alexander. She is also very kind and knowledgeable. I have no complaints about her or this office so far!
The entire staff at women4women is incredible. The nurses, techs, and Dr. Alexander made my first - prenatal, delivery, and postpartum experience amazing! So grateful to have found them when moving to Huntsville. If you are looking for a doctor who is kind, listens, and is clearly knowledgeable in her practice - Dr. Alexander-Wall would be a great choice.
I liked my doctors here, but unfortunately was double billed over $1000 for a procedure in January 2023 and have still not been issued a refund. The billing team can see that I am due one in the system, I am just told a new timeline each time I call. A few months turns to 6-8 weeks into who knows. Embarrassing and unprofessional.
I just had my first appointment at Women4Women with Dr. Reidy. It was easy, smooth, and on time. Everyone was warm and welcoming. It seemed like every worker I came in contact with actually did not mind being there. It was such a pleasant experience compared to the last two OBGYN offices I have tried in Huntsville. Thank you, Women4Women!
Samantha Wall was wonderful. She took the time to explain everything to me in a way I could understand. She was thorough and answered all my questions (even though I had many). I did not feel rushed in any way, and she seemed to genuinely care about me and my health.
Sam is absolutely wonderful! She always makes me feel comfortable and supported, and thoroughly addresses any questions or needs that I have! We adore the her and the rest of the staff at W4W!!! 💜
I have pretty significant anxiety when it comes to anything medical or doctor related. Especially concerning such an intimate area. Samantha (and Tori) were PHENOMENAL!!! They listened to me, addressed my questions, gave helpful medical advice. I felt so comfortable during the entirety of my appt. Even with checking in and out. Top tier staff and professionals.
Ms. Sam Wall was amazing! I’m so glad I was directed to see her. She was very thorough, and explained everything to me. Most of all I didn’t feel rushed and I was comfortable! I hope she stays with Women 4 Women because I was very satisfied and I look forward to seeing her again!
Had my first new patient appointment this morning and was very pleased with my appointment with Samantha Wall. She listened to all my concerns and gave sound advice.
I can’t say enough great things about W4W! From the front staff, nurses, NP, and providers!! A new standard has been set and I’m so glad I made the switch to W4W! *and the office is SO NICE! I feel like I’m in an artsy spa! ❤️
SO DISAPPOINTED TODAY!!!! Went in and said rescheduled my appt. They called this morning and no one was responding. They should call again and leave a message to let me know. I got points from work to get to my appt. I need gas to get in to my appt. I’m also going late for Graduation today. Can you tell how disappointed I am? They should called back and leave a message……. 😩🥵😡😡😡😡😡😡
Women4Women exceeded my expectations! From check-in to check-out, my experience was met with kindness & knowledgeable staff! Dr. Alexander was thorough, warm & answered any & every concern that I had. I left knowing that I had made the right choice in selecting Women4Women as my GYN.
Dr. Alexander is intentional, highly intelligent, and has excellent listening skills. She made my day with her competent consultation concerning my health!! Pamela
Elizabeth Irby was both kind and professional. Her explanations were easy to understand, and I felt that I could easily share with her any concerns I had. I especially appreciated the nurse, Alexis, who has the foresight to bring in a pair of long scissors after I mentioned that my IUD strings may be too long. In past appointments, the speculum had already been inserted and they were rummaging through the cabinets trying to find the scissors, only to have to open the door and ask for a pair from the people in the hall.
Dr. Alexander is the best obgyn. She does a great job of explaining everything going on in way you can understand. She always makes sure to include you in every decision, and to honor them. The nurses at the office are amazing! You cant ask for a better team.
I have been to Women4Women for multiple appointments. I have had appointments with Dr. Reidy, Dr. Sparks and Elizabeth Irby, and all have been wonderful. The nursing staff (Shalayna!) is fabulous! My wait-time has always been minimal. They are always wonderful. They listen, take the time to explain and they follow-up with me. Its been a very good experience. Ive also seen Alex for facials and Krystina for some aesthetic procedures, and they are also very good! Love the Diamond Glow facial with Alex! They dont push any products, which I like, BUT...their product line is very good! I will be a regular at this practice.
Dr.Alexander is the best obgyn in Huntsville Al if you need or want a doc who’s gonna thoroughly look into your problems and help resolve your issues then look no further. This doc cares and makes you feel important like she wants to help and she will look for a cure till you feel better. Her nurse is so amazing and she’s so attentive and sweet I looked for someone to help me for so many years and I’m so blessed to have found her! Totally would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!
They will charge your entire deductible by the 20 week appointment and then they will hold onto that payment until months after the birth, even though we had already met the deductible and owed nothing. We are still fighting to get the money back after 4 months. They keep saying the refund will be processed in the next 12 weeks. It’s borderline fraudulent.
Totally love each encounter with Samantha! Her bedside manner is on point! She explains things before they happen, always keeping me informed which makes me feel at ease!
Mrs. Dowdy was extremely compassionate, squeezed me in same day for an urgent matter, did not rush me, answered every question and even gave me a hug on her way out, knowing that my heart is breaking. She is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and still gentle. She took her time to review my images and history before she came in the room with a conservative, safety-minded but faith-filled plan of action. Anyone who receives her care will be blessed beyond measure. She is a gift to the Huntsville maternal and prenatal care community.
She is wonderful, nice and listens while providing options.
I had a great first gynecology experience at Women4Women. Thanks to Cassie and Dr. Diana Dowdy for making it a positive experience. They explained everything to me and eased any anxiety I had. Dr. Diana Dowdy told me I could stop her at any point but I didn’t need to; she was very gentle and caring. Thanks again!
When they first opened it was great. They would get you in and out and wonderful. The last few appointments have been less than ideal. First it is very hard to get ahold of someone and an appointment. I have been switched to two docs now they just assigned me to a midwife( not pregnant and has no desire to be). Do not have any plans the day of your appointment, especially if you’re not pregnant. I agree with the reviews I have been there way ahead of everyone and always get called back last. Last time I was scheduled to come at 1 and no one even came to the front desk until 1:30 and then I had to wait about 20 min to even get called back. It’s so frustrating
Dr Sam really listened and took my concerns seriously. She spent time making sure I understood my options, resources, any knowledge she could provide she did. Dr Sam and the nurses truly gave me peace of mind after having previous traumatic experiences
Taken care of and seen by Sam CRNP. Spent plenty of time making sure i knew the what and why of my visit. Professional and prompt- called back on time and not in the room forever draped and waiting to be seen. She’s GREAT!!!
As a woman who is not pregnant and not planning on being any time soon, I feel like Im not as appreciated as a client here. The staff is wonderful dont get my wrong. But Ive been in the waiting room for 45 minutes past my appointment time and a ton of other people were called before me. The staff is attentive to my needs and always answers questions in the portal, but since Ive been coming here, I dont feel like I am as important as other clients.
Dr. Alexander, Dr. Harkess and her team were incredible through my recent pregnancy and delivery. I felt completely cared for throughout the process and had a perfect delivery experience thanks to them. I cannot recommend their team enough.
The doctor that was suppose to delivery me wasn’t at the hospital when I went in. I had to have a doctor I only seen once at one of my appointments. When the doctor arrived she came in the hospital room with her arms folded up standing there, she didn’t come over to me or any of my family to introduced her self. With us being first time parents. First experience. She didn’t come in too happy to be there. When I got close to pushing the nurse started the process of me pushing, the doctor came in once again with her arms folded standing there. She told the nurse she’ll be back. Almost 2 Hours later I was having a hard time pushing, she comes in with an attitude and says what’s going on here?! As if we weren’t trying to have a baby! I’m thinking what does she mean what’s going on here..She then proceeds and suited up to start her job and help the nurse out.I had my family around me telling me to breathe & push encouraging me. The doctor then tells my family members to stop and let the nurses tell me what to do.Which was very very rude of her because before she came in we were all working together with the nurse and it was no problem at all for my family to encourage me until she came in. During my pushing It was hard on me to get the baby out the doctor had to use the vacuum and I was asking the doctor what’s going on, the doctor then tells me to stop talking and push. I was mind blown the way she talked to my family not only them but my self also. She was very rude and mean to us. We didn’t deserve the way she treated us.I will never forget the way we were treated by her. No one should have to go through that. The only best part about our experience was our daughter being delivered healthy it took my mind off of how she treated us.Anyone having a child I highly don’t recommend Dr. Annie Marie ReidyIf you’re reading this Dr. Reidy you’re not forgiving!
The staff here is always very kind and patient. Dr. Wall is thorough, which is truly appreciated! They answer all of your questions and dont make you feel rushed.
Dr. Reidy is very good at what she does. She listens to her patients and explains everything clearly.
I switched to this practice when I became pregnant because of negative experiences with my previous OBGYN. Ive been seeing Dr. Reidy at Women4Women for about 5 months now throughout my pregnancy and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Everyone has been patient with me and have welcomed all of my questions and concerns throughout this pregnancy so far. The only long wait I had was for my first visit/ultrasound because they only had 1 tech there that day. Other than that, Ive been seen within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. I really cannot say enough good things about this practice and plan to continue using them after I deliver and with my next pregnancy as well!
I have had a horrible experience with Women4Women. I switched to this practice due to all of the great things that I heard about Tiffany. I did have a good experience during the one visit I had with her. However, my most recent experience with the receptionist and nursing staff has been horrible. I recently found out that I was expecting what would have been my first child, so I called the office to schedule a prenatal appointment. I understand that the receptionists schedule these types of appointments everyday, but the one I spoke with was very cold. As soon as the appointment was scheduled, I was hung up on before I could even say thank you. I had a few general questions since this was my first pregnancy, so I called back to try to speak to a nurse. The nurse answered my questions by saying well I dont see why not? when I asked if I could continue with the medications I take and my exercise routine. She made me feel stupid, and I ended up apologizing even though my questions were valid. I took another pregnancy test several days later and noticed that the test line was lighter than expected. I called the nurse again and explained that I have anxiety. I asked if that was concerning, and if I could come in to get bloodwork done to see if my hcg levels were progressing. The nurse responded with its not.. but you can come get bloodwork if you want. Once again, invalidating my concerns. I know my body, and I knew something was wrong. Losing a pregnancy at any stage can be emotionally distressing, and the care that I received from Women4Women during this difficult time was unacceptable. I would highly recommend staying far away from this place if possible. I ended up scheduling an appointment with Alabama Womens Wellness Center, and so far I have been treated with a lot more compassion.
Women4Women are the absolute best! I’ve gone to different OBGYN over the years and I always left feeling like just another number. I don’t feel like that here. The staff is very friendly and kind. Dr. Reidy is very attentive and informative with your care. I highly recommend it here. 10 Stars!
Professionalism is top notch. She listens to your concerns and determines what will be the best outcome. Her staff is amazing! I could not have found a better Gynecologist!!!
I really felt like staff was not in a hurry and took time out to answer my questions and give me information. So far, I’m very happy with the service, and doc Wall is great! Energetic and good energy.
Absolutely love Samantha Wall! She’s everything you would want in a provider- kind, caring, knowledgeable, and listens! Really thankful for her.
I Do not recommend. I was misdiagnosed and received poor treatment. I saw the MD and NP multiple times with no resolution of my problem. Finally after going to another OB GYN my issues were addressed and I received the help I needed.
0 stars if I could, just to help warn people before calling up Women4Women expecting a fantastic experience based on reviews and recommendations. This review is only for administrative behavior, I did not get further than that to be able to see if the rave reviews of the providers were true. After getting fed up with poor experiences with another provider in town, I finally decided to make a switch and Women4Women is highly recommended about all over town! Friends, family, internet strangers, all sing Women4Womens praises. I called this morning to see if they were accepting new patients and get an appointment booked, but how dare I! Thats how I felt speaking with the lady on the phone. I felt like I was speaking with a call center, not trying to make a Doctors appt! I was placed on a 5+ minute hold right off the bat and when she finally did get back on the line, she carelessly mumbled through getting my information to the point that I had to ask her to repeat herself after every sentence. There was no kindness or care in her questioning and when she asked for specifics about why I needed to come in, I told her that due to being in a public office I really would rather not disclose that. We had loosely spoke about an appointment, but no concrete plans had been made yet, she pressed me more for specifics then told me to go somewhere where I could talk or call back later. I was pretty stunned, but said I would call back later with those details and mid-sentence was hung up on. I called back and was about to be placed on hold again, said I was just hung up on, she said I thought the conversation was done to which I said no, I still would like to at least get on the books because the next available isnt until November (something she made clear early in the initial conversation, disheartening to say the least) and she proceeded to go ahead and put me on another 5+ minute hold. When she finally got on the line, I asked to speak with someone else, she said they were short staff but I insisted, was put on another hold and by minute 12, decided to hang up and call All Womens and had an incredibly opposite experience. It takes the smallest amount of kindness to treat others as human beings, and it made all the difference. OBGYN issues are already a delicate matter and just being a women in this world feels like an inconvenience at times, it is horrible that we are made to feel that way when trying to get care for the most sensitive parts of ourselves. How many women die from undiagnosed female issues because they arent able to see a decent provider or delay getting an appointment due to rude administrative interactions like mine today? This is not the first time I have been made to feel this way and I am sure not the last. Shame on Women4Women (how ironic) to condone behavior like this.
We were new patients at W4W today. The team took great care of us and Dr. Nicole Alexander answered all our questions in great detail and with terminology we could easily understand. We are grateful Dr. Alexander was available for new patients.
Sam was amazing, comforting, professional, and talked through multiple options with me.
I was pleasantly surprised with this office. This was my first visit and from check-in to check-out, I had a very good experience. The check-in person was prompt and friendly. I had a reasonable wait time (less than five minutes). During this time I enjoyed the office decor...very nice. The nurse who brought me back asked if I needed to use the restroom (I did). There was a small heater in the room, and this really impressed me. Most offices and specifically GYN offices Ive been to either dont think about the fact that many of us have on nothing but a paper gown or they dont care. It was NICE to walk into a warm room. The nurse who took my history/blood pressure was super sweet and made me feel less stressed (nothing fun about an annual exam). Dr. Warren was attentive and patient with me...sometimes it takes me a minute to make my point. I never felt rushed. She has a wonderful bed-side manner. I will definitely return to this office.
I saw Samantha Wall and she was excellent! Took the time to explain everything and listened to any concerns.
Dr. Nicole Alexander and her team are excellent. They take time to respond to your questions and concerns. Beautiful office (Huge). High tech equipment.
Dr. Alexander and Elizabeth Irby are the best Ob/gyn in Huntsville!! They care about their patients and as someone with previous miscarriages they go above and beyond to make sure all of my concerns are addressed. The receptionists can be a little rude and sometimes the wait times are bad but with a busy practice that’s expected!
Dr. Alexander-Wall is so caring. She took time to answer my questions and was very knowledgeable about the information she was able to provide. I truly appreciate her and her warm nature.
I cannot say enough good things about this office. I’ve had 3 appointments within the past few months and every single time I’ve gone I leave feeling listened to and genuinely cared for (from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctor). I use Dr. Harkess, and she is AMAZING. I could go on and on about her bedside manner, but I’ll leave it to a few points:•She genuinely listens and gives lengthy responses to questions or concerns.•She will sit back in her chair and let you think of questions several times throughout the appointment.•She is super thorough, kind and unbiasedI recently moved to Florence and will be traveling to Huntsville for every appointment I have.
Little respect for your timeBooked an appointment 6 months ago. Checked in early as requested online, arrived at appointment 4 mins early, parking is minimal and had issues finding a spot. Waited 1/2 an hour, asked for update, still 2 people ahead of me waiting and would not give a time I might be seen. The office had been open for 2 hours...
The wait wasn’t very long at all in the waiting room OR in the back, I was given a lot of information and had all my questions answered very thoroughly, as I was with a provider for a comfortable amount of time. The visit didn’t feel rushed like at a normal doctors office at all and the atmosphere was very friendly
First time visting Women4Women. Elizabeth Irby CRNP was great! She made me feel very comfortable and she was very sweet. Alexis her nurse was great too! So happy I chose this office.
Dr. Alexander is the best; she’s very attentive and takes the time with patients for their needs.
Elizabeth was wonderful. She was empathetic and had great vibes from the beginning. Of course she was knowledgeable but most importantly I felt seen and heard, and as a WOC, I don’t always get that.
My appointment was at 10:15 a.m. and I had to wait an hour to see my doctor, so I cant say that this place is quick; however, my previous OBGYNs office had a similar wait, so I dont find this to be uncommon. What I DO find uncommon is a doctor who spends as much time with you as you need to get all your questions answered, especially when they are running behind schedule. I felt heard and cared for during my appointment and it was so refreshing. Tiffany attacked my issues head on with a very detailed action plan that we both agreed on and I feel very comfortable under her care. I highly recommend Tiffany and her team!
Love Dr. Alexander, very sweet and caring. Very happy with my procedure.
I like women 4 women and I love their staff, especially Diana Dowdy, but they are just never on time. I have had 8 am morning appointments and still was called back 45 minutes late. I have waited an hour and a half in the afternoon past my appointment time. If I have an afternoon appointment I know I need to take off work at least half a day because it is expected to take that long. I also agree with some of the other reviews too when they say that they are extremely hard to get ahold of... if I want an appointment, recently I have had to call pretty much once an hour until they pick up and then the receptionist seems aggravated that I am needing an appointment. I have had better luck with requesting appointments through the patient portal but sometimes I can not wait that long. I always leave honest and thorough reviews through their office when they send me an email after my appointment asking for feedback, but nothing has changed so far so I figured Id leave one here too.
The best facial ever with Alex! The service at Women 4 Women is exceptional. I have had many facials in my life, and this Diamond Glow facial (plus dermaplaning) was by far the best. Alex is a magician. Cannot recommend enough. I am eager to become a patient on the OB side soon.
She really listened to me and let me know all of my options.
Elizabeth Irby is fantastic - she took my concerns and found a solution for an issue I had been experiencing with no assistance for years. I highly recommend Elizabeth for the time she takes and care she extends to her patients.
I am incredibly grateful to Dr Golub and her nurse, Rhonda. I am fairly new to the area and have only been seen by my VA provider for the issues that I am having. I was having a lot of abnormal symptoms that were obviously hormonal related, I had labs done but was told everything was normal (even though I can see my labs and saw they werent normal). None of my concerns or my abnormal labs were ever addressed by my VA provider, so I scheduled an appointment with Women4Women. I am so incredibly thankful that I did! Dr. Golub took my concerns seriously, looked over the labs that VA did, ordered new labs, and came up with a plan to get my health back on track! I wish every provider were as caring and professional as Dr. Golub and her team.
I was seen promptly. The doctor and nurse practitioner were thorough and did a great job of explaining the medical options. The team was friendly and compassionate.
I am very impressed with Dr. Allison Warren!! I highly recommend her as your OBGYN. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, & personable. She takes time to actually listen to you when you see her & Ive never felt rushed when talking to her. I believe she truly cares about her patients.
She is very personable and makes you at ease. I truly appreciate her thorough explanation of the exam and what to expect.
I have nothing but good things to say about the physicians and staff at Women4Women. I have been an esthetics patient, and now see Dr. Katie Harkess and am pregnant with my first child. Every nurse and staff member is helpful, making the most of your time in the office. Dr. Harkess is an incredible doctor- I have never had someone take as much time to answer all of my questions and not rush me out the door. Krystina is extremely knowledgeable in each of the esthetics procedures offered in their office. I am so grateful for such a wonderful, welcoming environment.
A very unique experience. Chelsea spent a great deal of time with me prior to an exam. And then Nicole spent a great deal of time. A good first visit experience
Excellent service. She took her time explaining everything and I didn’t feel rushed. 10/10
Samantha Wall and the whole staff were so great and patient with me during my appointment, the comfortability provided throughout my experience was wonderful and greatly appreciated! Thank you Women4Women staff for everything you all do!
My appointment was at 2pm. They called me back at 2:15 which was great. I saw Dr. Warren. Super nice lady. Her nurse (I guess she couldve also been a medical assistant, not sure) was so unbelievably kind and made me feel very comfortable. I definitely recommend them.
My experience at this office was the best experience I have had with any appointment so far. Every time I have called with questions, they are quick to help. Quick responses through patient portal. The staff makes you super comfortable, if you are extremely nervous like I am.
I had Dr Reidy as my OB and Loved her! Unfortunately she wasnt able to be there at the time of my babys birth and so Dr Warren it was! I was a little nervous cause I didnt really know her but let me just tell you... SHE. WAS. AMAZING...She went above and beyond to make me feel like my needs was at the top of her list. I had a horrible experience with my first birth and Dr Warren took that into consideration to go above and beyond that I would have the best experience ever and I definitely did.. There are truly not enough good things I could say about her!! I HIGHLY recommend Women4Women! You cant go wrong with anyone there! I loved everything about it including the awesome nurses!
Although I was trying to get in and out in an hour on my lunch break and ended up being there closer to 2 hours my overall visit was excellent. I loved Dr. Warren she was super sweet and very thorough and made sure to answer all my questions. The office is very pretty!Im hoping my next visit will be a little quicker.
Provider ordered a bone density scan last year and never read the results. I’ve wasted a year of not working to slow the progression of osteopenia.Office staff is nice, just not on top of things.
Elizabeth is absolutely the best! She is professional, personable, and kind. To top it all off she sticks with a problem until it is solved. I highly recommend her.
I cannot say enough positive things about this practice! We moved to Huntsville during my 28th week of pregnancy and I was incredibly concerned with finding as great of a practice as we had back home. After my first visit with Dr. Reidy, I was no longer concerned! The entire office staff from the front desk to the nurses were incredibly comforting and answered my many questions. By the end of our pregnancy we had met all the providers in the office and were amazed with how caring they all are. Tiffany, their midwife, is actually the one who delivered our baby and I cannot express how fortunate I feel to have had her there. Her compassion and knowledge were shown the entire delivery time and during postpartum care. I know I would have been in amazing hands with Dr. Reidy or Dr. Warren as well and feel incredibly lucky to have had many capable providers available for our delivery. This will be my practice for any future babies in Huntsville!I know many reviews touch on the wait time. And although each appointment did have a wait, and sometimes it was frustrating, I expected this as that seems to be the norm for OB offices given how many emergencies can pop up. I was used to a wait with my prior practice and will gladly wait here given the outstanding care I received.
Dr.Reidy and Dr. Irby are the ones that I see. They are wonderful and they really seem to care not only about your health but you as well. I would recommend Women 4 Women and give them a 5 star rating.
I previously saw Dr. Reidy at her old practice, this was my first time to the new office and I didn’t have to wait as long as I did prior. Anne the nurse was super kind and Nurse practitioner/midwife Tiffany Golub, who my apt was with was super sweet and explained everything to me. All the ladies were super nice and helpful, I didn’t feel rushed.
The knowledgeable staff is polite and kind. Dr. Reidy always treats patients with respect and takes time explaining and educating her patients.
Dr. Allison is amazing. However, the nursing staff is fair from it. It should not take 2 days to return a patients voicemail. And thats assuming they would have returned my call; because I ended up calling to make an appointment. I have called today, lets see how long it takes to get a return phone call........
Impossible to schedule. This facility is not for working women. Their hours are 8-5 with lunch 12-1:30. An hour & a half lunch with no answering service, only an emergency line that has disconnected on me. No email to contact by. It is Feb 12, I have been trying to set up an appointment since Jan 16th. They dont allow appointments without insurance proof, so I had to wait for my new job insurance info, then they schedule me March 7th! I dont even know why I want to get in now. They are rude and uncaring. They also broke my sister-in-laws water too early which potentially made her labour worse...I know this happens with other doctors, but judging by how Ive been treated by these people...Im not going to put up with their nonsense & higher-than-thou attitude.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I am so thankful for Sam 💚
Sam was wonderful! She took time to answer all my questions and made me feel very comfortable!
I had a fantastic experience with the nurse practitioner, Elizabeth Irby, and the staff at Women4Women. I am an extremely nervous patient at any doctors office, but everyone was so kind and helpful. I was able to talk and address my concerns and really felt heard. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in search of a new OBGYN!
I went here for almost a year and they just dont listen to you. They primarily care about contraception and never listen to the patient or thier concerns. Deeming all issues as normal and apart of womanhood. I have never fealt so unheard or invalidated as a woman in my entire life than I did at this place. I once sat in a room for almost an hour in the dark, undressed in preparation for check up, when the timed lights went off and I was too scared to hop off the table and turn them off in fear someone would walk in that wasnt my nurse. I also had 3 failed IUDs in one sitting, no cervical softener, no pain killer until after the procedure. I was told they malfunctioned and after the 3rd attempt and me crying and asking them to stop they told me my uterus is too small. I asked for an ultrasound to check on the progress of a concern I had and they canceled my appointment that morning while I was at the office, but kept the appointment I had after that to receive a nexplanon implant I didnt really want but was told it would fix my concerns. This place is terrible. I never once met the doctor only her nurses and I was never given any answers or even was offered help in finding a solution to my concerns. The primary focus is contraception and if thats what youre looking for then look no further, but if you need any real help I suggest you look elsewhere.
Dr has great bedside manner. Staff is amazing and makes you feel comfortable. All very knowledgeable. Hardly any wait.
23 weeks pregnant with our first... The OB Id been with I kept having issues with dangerous medicines for me and baby.... Also just didnt seem to get answers for my concerns and was waiting 9 days for urine cultures then finding out I have UTIs after a week or longer...Transferred to W4W and wow... First experience was so comfortable. I didnt feel rushed for the first time.... Dr Warren listened and spent her time without making me feel rushed... First appt I felt like someone listened. Very thankful I was introduced to this place! ❤(Jackie Allred)
Waited 4 months for an appointment. Showed up for my a appointment and couldnt find the place. Called several times trying to get some help on where they are. Each time I called it would go to vm or hang up or redirect me and then hang up. So, the next day they sent me a text telling me that I didnt show. I, immediately called to tell them what happened. She apologized said that their system was on the fritz. So lets reschedule... 4 months is our next available...... I thought that was a joke. Nope she was dead serious. I will find somewhere else to go
I absolutely love Dr. Harkess, but I have had SO many issues with billing that I unfortunately will not be back.Let me begin by saying I met my deductible back in April, and all issues I’ve had with billing are unrelated to that but are showing up as being charges that are “not eligible” because of how they are filed—despite having a great BCBS plan. From birth control check-up’s being filed as annual wellness visits or showing as not covered, to back-and-forth between insurance and W4W resulting in a disputed charge being sent to collections (but was finally resolved 3+ months after my initial appointment), to tests being incorrectly filed so that they aren’t covered and now receiving a bill for $1100 from the company who processed the samples. It’s been over 2 weeks since my newest ($1100) billing issue, and I have received no significant updates towards resolution from W4W since I first reached out about charges that should have been covered.I have seen 3 other types of doctors and had different blood work done by each for different issues this year—including one out-of-state—and have not had billing issues with any other office. I really hope W4W can get this figured out.
A NIGHTMARE THAT COULD AFFECT YOUR CREDIT SCORE. I receive VA Health Care directly through the Veterans Health Administration. I selected Women4Women for a VA Community Care referral for gynecology. At that time, Optum was scheduling the appointments and sending the referral/billing instructions to the referred provider. When I took off work and went to my initial appointment at Women4Women, that was scheduled by Optum, I asked the receptionist if they had the billing instructions. I wanted to ensure that they knew how to bill the VA for veterans who are referred through VA Community Care. The receptionist informed me that they did NOT have the billing instructions on file so I asked to reschedule my appointment because there was no way I was going to be seen as a referral from VA Community Care if they didnt know how to bill. So I rescheduled an appointment for late April 2021 and contacted Optum to request that they send the billing instructions again. A day or two before my rescheduled appointment, I called Women4Women to ensure they had at last received the billing instructions from the VA. The receptionist on the phone said they did indeed have the billing instructions so I went to my one-and-only appointment at Women4Women.Eight months later in January 2022, I received a bill from Women4Women stating that their claim with the VA was denied and that I was responsible for paying for my appointment. I called the VA and was informed that Women4Women failed to bill within the six-month window in which medical providers are required to bill. After a few back and forth phone calls with the VA over the course of ~6 weeks, the VA rep informed me that not even insurance companies will pay after six months and that medical providers know this and know that it’s the provider’s responsibility to bill before the 6-month window expires. She then said that Women4Women will most likely write-off the balance on my account. I logged into my patient portal for Women4Women and, sure enough, there was a write-off on my account and a balance of $0 due. So, the issue was finally resolved in February 2022. Or, so I thought. In June 2022, I AGAIN received a bill from Women4Women stating the I had a balance due. I logged into the patient portal for Women4Women and they had REMOVED the write-off on my account and I AGAIN had a balance due!!! I called the billing department at Women4Women and I was SHOCKED at how hateful the woman was with whom I spoke. She told me I was a TriCare patient and that it was my responsibility to keep track of my referrals and whether or not they were paid. WHAT??? I explained to her that I do not have TriCare insurance, that I’m a veteran and receive my health care directly from the VA, that my referral is a VA Community Care referral, and that TriCare has nothing to do with me. She told me I was WRONG, that her husband was retired from the military after 25 years, and that EVERYBODY who receives health care benefits either as a veteran or a family member uses TriCare insurance. She was so hateful and adamant that she knew what she was talking about and that I was responsible for the balance on my account that she wouldn’t listen to any reasoning so I asked to be transferred to her manager. She transferred me to a number with a voice mail greeting that said “leave a message” but didn’t say who the voice mailbox was for. So I hung up and called their receptionist and asked to speak with the owner. I was told they have an office manager named Mr. Reidy so I left a voice message with him.So once again I have had to go back and forth with the VA and endure the stress of wondering if Women4Women is going to send the balance on my account to collections and ruin my credit score. All because Women4women failed their responsibility to bill within 6 months of the date of service. I even rescheduled my appointment with Women4Women, which meant even more time off work, to avoid any billing issues! I never imagined an issue arising because of the irresponsible (and hateful) billing department employees at Women4Women.
Dr. Craner and her team are great! :)
Hands down the best medical practice I have ever been to. I am new to Huntsville, and I was lucky enough to stumble upon this practice. I am going through my first pregnancy, and am an anxious patient in general. I have been met with annoyance by providers in the past due to my anxieties around medical procedures. Every since person I have encountered at this practice, from my midwife, Tiffany, to her nurses, to the phlebotomist have been what every healthcare professional should aspire to be in terms of bedside manner. I have a phobia of getting my blood drawn that I am working through, and I honestly wanted to cry tears of joy when the phlebotomist took my blood because of how compassionate and patient she was with me.Tiffany and her nurses take their time to make sure every single question I can think of is answered. I never feel rushed. I look forward for to continuing to work with this team throughout my pregnancy.
I had my daughter about 3 months ago and tiffany was my OB ! i couldn’t have had a better experience with being pregnant. she made me feel comfortable and having my child was the easiest because of the way she talked me through it! with highly recommend Dr. Tiffany Gollub !!
Definitely one of the best OBGYN offices in Huntsville!!! Highly recommended!!!! Dr. Reidy is awesome and really listens and addresses your concerns..staff is phenomenal too, including the other doctors there!!! Not one complaint...even when the office is packed, you are still seen in a timely manner.
I switched to this practice when I was several month pregnant so that I could see Tiffany Golub, the nurse midwife. She is absolutely fantastic! Very knowledable, professional, and open to working with you on meeting your goals and desires about your birth. She took all my questions and preferences seriously and never made me feel like I was just another patient. If she didnt know dthe answer to one of my questions she would actually take the time to look into it and would get back to me about it later! Sadly, around the same time I switched to seeing her I found out that I have cancer. Because of some of the factors from that I was automatically determined to be a high risk pregnancy and had to go back to being seen by a doctor as well. Tiffany and Dr. Warren ended up co- managing my care and worked really well together. It was a great experience actually, because they both brought different things to the table and I felt very comfortable that I was receiving comprehensive care. Dr. Warren is also very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and open minded. They were a great team and I really felt they went above and beyond to help me meet my goals, while still making sure baby and I were safe. For example, I needed to be induced at 36 weeks so I could start chemo. I had been sent to see a Maternal Fetal Specialist (high risk OB doctor) to make sure there werent any special considerations we needed to know about while planning that. When the specialist laid out the plan for the induction she was very by the book and said that if I didnt respond to the pitocin within 24 hours I would automatically be taken for a C-section. A vaginal delivery was one of my biggest goals, so even though I had to give up on the all natural delivery I had originally wanted, Tiffany and Dr. Warren sat down with me and discussed a plan where I would be prepped beforehand with cervidil and some other interventions if needed to help the induction be more successful (non of which the specialist had mentioned), and they took the time limit off the table. They said I could labor for several days if thats what it took! I didnt end up needing the extra help and the birth went fantastic. Tiffany spent a fair amount of time at the bedside with me, letting me walk and use a birthing ball for a while before I had to get my epidural (they didnt want me to be under the strain of an unmedicated delivery since the location of the mass could trigger complications that could send me for a C-section). They both made it there for my delivery and right up till the end kept letting me be part of the decision making. Over all I have nothing negative to say about either of them, or my birth experience!
This new beautiful office is GORGEOUS. Unfortunately, they seem to overbook appointments and it takes FOREVER to see the doctor. I have been twice so far to the new office and both times have taken me over two hours. Of that time, I am talking with the doctor less than 10 minutes. The second time I went, I was only there to get a gender reveal ultrasound. It took 20 minutes for the ultrasound and 5 minutes for the doctor to ask me if I was feeling ok and if there were any changes. The rest of the hour and 35 minutes I was waiting on the doctor to come into the room and talk to me. Both times I have been, I havent been able to see Dr. Reidy because she is too behind (even when my appointment was at 8:30 AM). As I was going into the elevator to leave this past time, a husband was calling his mother-in-law because he had waited so long for the appointment he was calling to ask if she could pick his wife up because he needed to get back to work. I hope that over time, they can do a better job with scheduling so that patients arent waiting so long.
Dr Alexander has been very sweet. All of my questions and concerns she has answered and eased my nerves. Staff is also very sweet!
Elizabeth Irby and the staff are exceptionally nice, thoughtful, and helpful.I had serious issues getting into contact with W4W about a prescription refill. I understand they are probably extremely busy, but for time sensitive issues, this almost became a huge problem for me.
Very nice people. I was a new patient and waited over an hour and half not to even been seen by a doctor. They told me to come in about 15 early to fill out paperwork, I came in 25 minutes. Still didnt see anyone! Everyone who was there before me was long gone and so were the people who came after me. Just decided to go with a different provider.....way to long wait time for first time patient.
Dr. Alexander-Wahls is excellent.
Beautiful office and wonderful staff. The Doctor was outstanding. She had great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable-you dont see that hand in hand much anymore. Wait time was average to any other obgyn office I have been to. Very pleased from check in to check out.
I love Dr. Reidy and her staff. In fact all the ladies in the office are pleasant during my visits to Women 4 Women.
Extremely pleasant. Understood my concerns and immediately had a suggestion to get my concerns under control. Would definitely recommend this wonderful nurse practitioner.
How amazing to speak to someone that was in medicine to care for others ❤️❤️
Love Dr. Alexander and her staff.
I was seen at Women4Women for a birth control replacement. After a few months of being on the new medication, I started to have a awful breakouts. I called their office to voice my concern. The nurse was extremely rude and dismissive. She not only belittled me, but I decided I would never go back. Beware. I have found another GYN in the Huntsville area, and the office/atmosphere is much kinder, professional, and compassionate.
Have went here for the past 3 years and they are impossible to get in touch with. I have been calling several days since they changed my prescription with no notice and I have been leaving voicemails with no response. This is the situation every time I need to get in touch with my doctor. Currently swapping to a different obgyn now. Dont recommend wasting your time here. Find someone who cares.
***update feb 2020: I’m not sure what has changed but I had my annual appointment today and was in and out in 30 min and they were BUSY! As I previously reviewed, I love Dr. Reidy and I hope it was a staffing issue and hopefully corrected for good! The only kind of weird thing is the practice is big into what I consider dermatology procedures (Botox, facials, spa nights). I’m sure there are clients that enjoy that but just strange to be part of an ob/gyn practice.2019: I love Dr. Reidy, but unfortunately haven’t seen her at my last two annual appointments since she’s opened her new practice. Outrageous wait times. First time, she got called to a birth...ok no big deal and I was able to see her partner Dr. Warren but did have to wait a long time before seeing her. This years annual exam, I waited so long in the exam room that the light timed out and room went dark. After the nurse gets you settled in exam room, expect about a hour wait sitting undressed. Her nurse practitioner came in and explained Dr. Reidy was running behind and she would do the exam. At that point, I just wanted to get it done and over with. My most recent visit this month was for an issue I was having. I decided to go ahead and schedule with the nurse practitioner, Elizabeth, because obviously Dr. Reidy is always busy. Went in and had ultrasound very quickly, no wait. Then I was to see Elizabeth for results. Again...waited about 20-30 min in lobby then another 20-30 min in exam room. Another nurse came in to give me results because Elizabeth was backed up. Are you kidding me?! Again, I feel Dr. Reidy is a great doctor...when you actually see her.
**UPDATE**I transferred doctors in March, and they still have not sent over lab results as of 7/11. They are telling my Dr. that they never did the labs being requested, which I know for a fact they did (hint: its the labs I mentioned lower down in my review). I called my insurance company to see what had been claimed (since insurance will not cover the same labs twice) and sure enough, the labs were done and paid for in February. My doctor has been trying to get them since March- they didnt even respond to the initial request from my Dr. until APRIL. Shockingly, when BCBS calls, they find my labs immediately and send them over. Such a sketchy establishment.Horrible wait times. I am 10 weeks and have had two appointments; each one had an ultrasound. They took three hours each time. The first time, I was one of the first in and was filling out paperwork when my name was called- I asked the receptionist if I could finish the paperwork in the back, the nurse said yes, the receptionist said no, so I sat down to fill out the last two blocks and waited a half hour before I was called again. My ultrasound was fine, then I went back and waited in the waiting room for forever, got called back, saw a nurse for a few minutes, waited, then saw the doctor for a few. My appointment was at 9 and we got out after 12. I decided not even to bother with going to work that day since it was so late. Same story the second time, except it was a holiday so we had to bring our 4 year old with us. We waited in the waiting room for a whole episode and the first few minutes of Love It or List It (they play HGTV, which is at least nice), went back, saw the nurse for a few minutes, then waited at least 45 minutes for the doctor. We asked if this was normal and were assured it was not, that ultrasound appointments take longer and that it may be due to how they schedule them. I cannot afford to take half a day off of work for every appointment. When the doctor came in she was very nice, but by that point it had been over 2.5 hours and I was so frustrated I didnt even want to be there anymore and discuss any issues I was having. My husband timed it- the doctor saw us for 7 minutes, 2 of which were a nurse/receptionist (not sure) coming in and talking to her about a schedule she was trying to make. We asked about the 9 week genetic testing and were told that their office did it, to just come by during the week and they would take blood in the lab in the office. I called the next week and ensured that they had time for me to come in and get my blood drawn, was ensured that they did, and came to do so. I was asked why I was there and I said Just the standard 9-10 week genetic testing, Im not sure what its called. My nurse came in and looked it up, spoke with the lab tech, and took blood. We waited a week for the results only to be informed that they ran the wrong tests, and I would have to go and get blood redrawn. I was asked if I asked for the panorama test, but neither the doctor nor the nurse called the test this while discussing it, so I did not. The nurse I spoke with on the phone said that she could see in the system where Id had the test ordered, but it was only visible to the nurses, not the lab tech- but my nurse came in when I was there, looked up my tests, and told the tech what to do. This was frustrating but not a huge deal, mistakes happen. I left work and went to get blood taken and the lab tech, who had been nice the week before, was horrendously rude asking if Id asked for the panorama, did I give you these cards, etc.- and then was rough when taking blood. We were going to give it one more try after our last appointment, but after this one, I cant go back. My insurance is going to pay an ungodly amount to a provider and their staff, and I will ensure that it does not go here. I leave this review only because I made sure to check reviews before obtaining an OB, as Im new to the area and had a high risk pregnancy with my daughter- this OB had good reviews so I chose them. I do not want anyone else to be duped.
I went to Women4Women for the first time yesterday for a rather embarrassing reason and they were fantastic! No judgement, no awkwardness. Everyone I spoke to was extremely nice and pleasant. Their customer service is like the chick-fil-a of doctors! I will definitely recommend them to anyone and will definitely be going back myself
This office has the most professional and helpful staff members . I saw the nurse practioner and she was phenomonal . I was worried and stressed out and made an appt. Because i was seeking a secind opinion over something i was told from another dr at a different Office. I was very stressed when i arrived , but I left with relief. She was not only knowledgeable but very kind and professional. From the front desk to the nurses to the techs to the doctors. This office all the way around is personable , welcoming , knowledge able and I left having a great experience .
Elizabeth is so sweet and caring, it was like Ive known her forever. She answered all my questions and put me at ease. I loved my first visit here. Everyone was so nice!!
Clean, professional, and extremely nice. I was completely satisfied with my appointment and will absolutely continue to see this office!
I love Dr. Alexander. She’s so welcoming and always listens! Her staff is also wonderful!!
They are so nice! Every one was so caring! It felt like you were with old friends even if its your first visit. The staff is also very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this office!
First visits are always a little unnerving but they put me right at ease.
Sam was very attentive and kind. She addressed every question and explained everything thoroughly.
Sam & Megan @ Women 4 Women are seriously so amazing! I thank God for them both! I had the best, compassionate care with them both.
Initial visit was nice enough. Called today with a bladder problem and wouldn’t even see me… told me to see my primary care doctor…. Which happens to be a man.. is why I called women for women. Not anymore
Consistently kind, knowledgeable and encouraging staff upon entering and leaving. Very thankful to be a patient of W4W!!
