This office is amazing. This was my third pregnancy and my first time with this office and hands down all the doctors and office staff was always so nice and amazing. The doctors listen to your concerns and never just brushed things off. Dr.McPherson did my c-section and she was absolutely amazing. This was be far our best pregnancy and delivery experience ever. Would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about the doctors and staff here! They have been helpful through the basic issues to the more complicated ones! I am grateful for their kind and supportive nature when dealing with stressful situations. I just had my second daughter which ended up having to be an emergency C-Section. It was scary, but Dr. Anderson took great care of me. Dr. Halbach delivered my first baby and was wonderful. Dr. McPherson has also been wonderful over the years for and check ups I have. I highly recommend The Women’s Center of Athens!

I have used WCA for both of my pregnancies/births and would highly recommend. Dr. McPherson delivered my first and Dr. Halbach delivered my second. I was so thankful for the care and expertise they provided during that time. I could not say enough positive things about both experiences. I felt very comfortable with both as well as very safe when complications arose. I also saw Dr. Anderson during my regular visits and she was very caring as well. All of the nurses and medical assistants were always so sweet also.

Went thru my first pregnancy with WCA, after being recommended by them by quite a few people! I was extremely nervous going in, but I have never felt such peace and calm being in a dr office, let alone a OB/GYN place!!Dr Anderson was the one on call when I had my baby, and she was amazing…After baby being in distress, she made the call to have a C-section. Completely wasn’t planned but she was amazing in explaining what was going on, and I just felt in good hands!Definitely recommend coming here for anyone needing an OB/GYN! They are amazing!

So very thankful for the care throughout my pregnancy & delivery! No question was too frivolous as a first time mom and each doctor took the time to go over anything I had questions about. Dr. Halbach made my delivery such a smooth process and I am so grateful for all she did to ensure a safe and healthy delivery!

I have been a patient of WCA for 17 years. They have helped me get through tough times as well as celebrated/helped with the birth of my three amazing children. Dr. Halbach has incredible bedside manner and will always put you at ease. The entire staff delivers a five star experience every visit. Highly recommend.

My two adult daughters and I love the ladies at Womens Center of Athens! My daughters still drive from Atlanta for their appointments with Ms. Natalie. When I wanted to discuss HRT, Ms Natalie spent plenty of time with me, discussing options, as well as validating my questions and concerns. Love them here!

So far, this office has been amazing! I am 12 weeks with my first pregnancy (via IVF). Any complication or worry I have, they allow me to come in and get checked to relieve my anxiety. They don’t push anything on you and let you make your own decisions about testing, delivery, etc. You can choose to deliver at St. Mary’s or Piedmont. So glad I decided on this office!

I love being a patient at the Women’s Center of Athens! From the front desk staff, to the nurses who take you back to the doctors, everyone there is so friendly and helpful. I could not imagine going anywhere for my prenatal and maternity care!

Dr. Halbach is my provider and she is the best! Natalie is great too! They are both very caring and compassionate.If you’re looking for a good gynecologist this is the place to go!

I have only been seen once at this practice and it was okay. I was satisfied with the doctor that seen me that day. However, I had to recently call to reschedule an appointment and whoever spoke with me on the phone was not very nice, and I was hung up on. Not sure I’ll be back.

The ladies here are incredibly sweet and attentive! They address all questions and give you a calm environment. My sister and I both went here for our prenatal care and have wonderful experiences.

I had an amazing experience as a first time patient here, all of the staff were very kind! I saw Dr. Halbach and she was thorough, patient, and gave me ample time to ask questions.

I used Women’s Center of Athens for both of my pregnancies and couldn’t have asked for better care. The doctors are phenomenal! The nurse was always helpful, answered questions, and walked me through all of my concerns.

I have been coming to Women’s Center of Athens for year and every visit has been nothing short of great. The staff is always so kind and knowledgeable about any question you may have, and after seeing all of the OBs at the clinic, you cannot go wrong with any of them, as they are all amazing.

I see Dr Halbach and have been very pleased with her level of care. Menopause isn’t for the weak, and she is helping me to navigate my way through it!

Every encounter I have had with their staff has been so unprofessional and they are the rudest people I have ever dealt with in a medical setting. Whether it be if you’re there or on the phone. They act as if you’re interrupting them when you call. Will not be back.

Women’s Center of Athens is amazing! The staff is also super friendly and the doctors answer any questions you might have. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for an all women’s staff!

I have been going to this office for many, many years. Since I was a young girl. This office is absolutely outstanding and they have treated me with nothing but respect each time. The nurse is always helpful and the doctors are great. Dr.Halbach delivered my daughter and is going to deliver my son in September. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. She always goes above and beyond. When I had a ectopic pregnancy she came to the hospital and spoke with me about everything going on and she was not even on call that day. I highly recommend this practice to everyone!!!

I was not aware that doctors could deny prenatal care based on their disapproval of your birth plan.Two weeks after having (and paying) for an ultrasound, I received a call from the clinic informing me that the doctor has decide to deny me prenatal care because I have chosen to deliver my baby at home. I sympathize with the poor woman who had to deliver this message to me; you could hear the discomfort in her voice over having to tell me this news.I have safely delivered 5 babies naturally (3 at home), working with phenomenal midwives in Boston, Philadelphia and North Carolina. Each time, ultrasounds and labs were outsourced and we experienced nothing but support.From the moment we stepped into this Athens-based clinic, however, it felt different. Negative. Business-like. We left thankful for the ultrasound of our sweet baby, but determined not to return due to the poor mannerisms of the doctor administering the exam.I’m extremely disappointed by this experience and feel it casts a shadow over the heroic, selfless medical professionals whom I greatly admire and who took an oath to provide care for men, women, children and the unborn.It’s part of what makes our country so amazing.My respect to all those who serve in the medical field because of their passion for caring rather than capitalizing and my prayers for those who don’t.

These doctors are the best of the best. They are all so sweet & I feel so confident under their care. I transferred from another practice in the middle of my pregnancy & they kind of got the short end of the stick as I was having complications, but they jumped into action & never left my side. Can not recommend them enough!

I had a wonderful experience with Nurse Practitioner Natalie. As someone who tends to get anxious about annual check-ups, she effortlessly put me at ease. I wholeheartedly endorse her services. Additionally, the building itself was impressive, impeccably maintained, and had ample parking space. My waiting time after checking in was minimal, around 15 minutes.

All the ladies in the office is wonderful! The doctors and nurse practitioner is so nice and welcoming!

Dr. Halbach is amazing! Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else for my pregnancy!

Very professional. The doctor did the ultrasound- during my appointment. No need to schedule a return trip 2 weeks later with an extra copay/ no nonsensical 2 minute return trips for in person results (with a copay) that can be called in like I had at advanced gyno for the same thing.Also- no bloody bandages laying half out of the trash festering like advanced gyno has had multiple times while I was there.This is a smooth, clean and efficient practice. I’m sold.

Ive been going to this facility for almost three years now. I utilized them for my first pregnancy and annual exams. I have never liked an OBGYN office as much as this one and Ive been to a lot of places over the years. All three doctors are amazing, they each have different personalities, but I never felt like they didnt care about me or my baby or that they wouldnt do what was in our best interest. Ive never had issues with the nurses or staff and have always found them to be friendly and courteous.

I got a couple recommendations for this office, so I was excited to try them out. First off, the doctors don’t spend any time with you. I felt as if they didn’t care about me or my baby. Just the money they were making. I was not aware that my insurance did not cover any ultrasounds, but they were… just did not tell me and automatically assumed I wanted an ultrasound every visit. I even called to verify I wouldn’t owe and the lady told me I would just owe my copay from my first visit. When I received my bills in the mail, I immediately called them. They did not care that we were preparing for baby, again just their money. Told me I did owe the amount and typically insurance companies don’t ever cover ultrasounds. They were aware of this, but never once told me. They didn’t care to even make it right when I called and expressed to them that I wish I would have known .. that receiving those bills with a baby on the way was a complete shock. Especially with already having to pay for labor and delivery and hospital bill. I won’t ever return.

Every time I come to this practice, I wait in the patient room for an hour past my appointment. Make sure to plan accordingly and take the day off. As I have had to call out for the remainder of my work day for a morning appointment, twice now.Their pricing for delivery fees is outrageous even with a good insurance plan.The person that works at the front desk is rude and unpleasant to speak with.If I had an option to seek alternative medical care for my pregnancy I would. However, once you see one doctor- I have found that other OBGYNS will not schedule you.

Over the course of my pregnancy I saw all three physicians and they were all friendly, helpful, and polite. Dr. Halbach happened to be the Doctor on call the day I delivered my son, January 2019. The Doctors are great and the staff is friendly. I would choose this facility again if I was having another child.

I like Dr Halbach she is very nice and friendly. One of the other 2 Drs though, I wont drop names, she really upset me at my appointment today. I am nearly 37 weeks with my first pregnancy and was receiving my last ultrasound. The Dr performing it rushed the ultrasound in what seemed 5 minutes and we (husband and I) barely got to see our baby. She told me my baby was large and since I wasnt showing as large that I should have a Cesarean. She then took all my ultrasound pictures with her, and left me with one. The one she left me with looks empty and it absolutely broke my heart considering this was my last ultrasound. Every other practice I have been to during this pregnancy has made the effort to give us more time to see our baby and let us have at least 1 clear picture. In other appointments this same Dr, she isnt very talkative or leads appointments. She only asks if I have any questions and then leaves.

Love them all. I have been coming here for about 17 years and its all been great.

We are so happy that we have found this office. We are 15 weeks pregnant and are treated so wonderfully at every appointment. This is our first baby, and they are so helpful with all questions and concerns. This is a very relaxing environment. Sincerely, Caitlin Davol.

Pregnant moms looking for VBAC support, compassionate care and the ability to ask questions along the way, GO ELSEWHERE! If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for prenatal care with my second baby after a prior lack of care and birth trauma from another obgyn in Athens. Because I had a C-section and a larger baby, they made the assumption that I would need another csection and wanted me to schedule it at only 12 weeks pregnant. Dr, Halbach completely switched gears on me in my second appointment after saying I was a good VBAC candidate based on the healing of my scar. She didn’t want to listen to my questions and concerns and tried to rush me out of the appointment, mind you I was seen almost an hour later than my scheduled time. Once I saw Dr. McPherson I started to feel better, until she told me they only performed 3-5 successful VBACs in a given year. Again coercing me to opt for a C-section now only mid pregnancy. She’d rather look at doctors notes from a prior pregnancy then listen to the patient in front of her. I innocently submitted a records release form to go for a second opinion elsewhere, so they assumed I transferred care and canceled my 20week anatomy scan with Dr. Rosemond. After calling the office manager she said that if you release your records elsewhere, they ASSUME your transferring care and cancel all your appointments. Without the decency of a phone call?! She tried to make it better by rescheduling the ultrasound, but at this point I’m completely done with the lack of compassionate care. Thank you for showing me that you don’t deserve to be a part of my birth team.

Ive been a patient of the practice for years. Theyve delivered all of my babies. They are all extremely professional & mindful of their patients. I really like Dr. McPherson & think she is the best OB/Gyn in the Athens area. You cant go wrong with any of these doctors!

I truly enjoyed my visit with them. They were kind, patient and considerate. I am very pleased that my search a new doctor is over. Thank you again to all of the staff.

My fiance has been a patient here since 2010. She refuses to see anyone else. She says they were wonderful with her first pregnancies and she plans to use them again with ours. Wonderful doctors

The Drs and nurses are polite, but its Always some of the front desk ladies and the ones picking up the phone that always have an attitude or gives you an attitude! Do better yall! Thank goodness Im no longer going here.

Dr. Halbach has been my ob for my 3 kids and did a fantastic job. She is also my personal female doctor. Her bedside manner is fabulous. I cant speak for the entire staff, but she is fabulous!

I have mixed emotions about this place. On one hand, when I actually *do* see one of the doctors, half of them are great. (2 out of 4). Dr. McPherson & Dr. Halbach are wonderfully splendid. However, Dr. Anderson & nurse practitioner Natalie Romonov (I think I spelled it wrong) seem very aloof and dismissive, like Im just a number. Im on my first pregnancy, and I feel very out of the loop. When I went in for my first OB appointment & had to schedule my 20 week appointment, it took them 3 months to make it. And my 20 week appointment was made for 22 weeks instead. That falls on the front desk... Brittney is not very friendly at all & apparently doesnt know how to do her job. Twice Ive been sent into the room, asked to wait on the doctor & waited over 40 mins to be seen. Another reason why I feel like just a number to them. Ive been waiting on test results for a week & theyre horrible about letting you know information youre asking about. Also... If you need an OB with a direct emergency line, this place isnt it.

Ive never had any issues with the nursing staff or anything!Currently 36 weeks pregnant and have had a positive experience with everyone here. I have loved the nurses and all three doctors have been wonderful.

Im not too sure where all of the negative reviews are from but my personal experience is 5 stars. I have been coming here for 5 years now and soon will deliver my 4th child with the doctors here. The doctor I was seeing was nice but I stoped coming a few years ago because of how terribly I was treated repeatedly by her nurse I think her name was Ann. I didn’t have insurance. I went to have regular annual exams only. I had an abnormal pap and they ran additional test on it without asking and my bill was over $700. On top of that this nurse was calling me every other day acting like I was going to die if I didn’t come in for more procedures. She was very pushy and rude. She got even more harsh when I told her I was in and out of town and couldn’t come and that I would have to go to the health department because I couldn’t afford the 3k in procedures she was trying to force on me. When I tried to go back to get the birth control supply they have been giving me for over 5 years she told me no because I was no longer a patient there since I went somewhere else. I was still within my 12 months annual time frame. She was a nasty lady and acted like she took it personal that I had to go somewhere else. And no I wasn’t in danger at all. It was just a type of biopsy. I can’t believe how rude this lady got because I didn’t have insurance and had to go elsewhere. I haven’t been back since.

I’ve been highly satisfied with this practice. I’ve seen the doctors and the nurse practitioner and they are all fabulous. If you’re looking for an OBGYN look no further!!!

I was coming to this practice for years. Natalie was great and her prior nurse was great. I stopped coming because of Ann Evens. If all you need is a regular PAP then you will be fine but beware if anything is abnormal and you dont have insurance. For one they convinced me to get a blood work checkup. Told me that it wasnt that expensive. It was almost $200 when I got that bill. I paid cash for my PAP which is around $169 and was expecting another lab bill that was around $79 (which was an expected cost) BUT my lab was abnormal so they ran all these further tests without asking me and did an extra doctor charge to look over it and I got a bill for $300. So I ended up with a $500 bill on top of what I paid in office. I checked info online about what they found and it said there was no urgency but too keep an eye on it, yet Ann was blowing up my phone every few days trying to freak me out to get me in for a biopsy. ( which would have cost me over $1000). I mean she was so high pressure I flat out asked her why she was acting like I was going to die if I wasnt in right away. I told her I was between states at the moment but regardless I had to go to the health department for the biopsy and stuff because I was uninsured and couldnt afford it. The health department said I was right and there was no emergency. They also took care of everything for free. I dont appreciate someone trying to scare me to come in just to get extra money. I knew the whole time too and it just angered me. So fast forward afterwards , Im close to my yearly PAP that I was going to return to them for, and they ALWAYS give me free birth control for 12 months till my next PAP. They give me 3 months at a time. I was a few months away from my next annual exam and Ann refused to give me any birth control samples saying that I was no longer a patient because I went somewhere else. I had no choice, I couldnt afford more tests and biopsies through them. I told her I was coming for a PAP so she made me make an appointment ahead of time. But still wouldnt give me any birth control and told me to get it from the pharmacy for $90 ( one month). The following month they kept telling me they were out of samples and they couldnt give me any. Ive been going to them for over 5 years and they are NEVER out, so they did that purposely. They did this for 3 months. Because of that I canceled my appointment. I will never go back there again because of this. I will go to the Health Department in Watkinsville. This is where they helped me get my biopsy. They are incredibly nice, the PAPs are only $25, they wont rip you off and they try and actually help you. They also sell my birth control for 3 months supply at $50-60.Thank you Ann for pushing me to go somewhere I like better. I dont have to worry about them trying to take advantage of me. I would have never have gone otherwise so I guess you did me a favor. ( So either shes like this on her own or the manager makes her like this, doesnt matter, I wont ever go back)

I had an appointment with Dr. Anderson and she was very kind. But I was was very upset when I left this office due to a medical assistant that walked in while I was undressed durning an exam and didnt speak to me and went straight to the bottom of my feet and then went back out the door while I was still undressed, legs up in the air and uncovered and she didnt assist the doctor in any way!!! She had no business being in that room!!! Especially coming in and out while I was undressed!!!!! I will NOT RETURN TO THIS OFFICE FOR THAT REASON!! TRAIN YOUR MEDICAL ASSISTANTANTS BETTER!!!

ALWAYS IN A RUSH! They don’t make you feel as if they care at all! Overlook your concerns! Certain cma’s act like they don’t even want to assist the doctor during your visits!! Transferring ASAP

I have had enough of this doctors office! From the staff to the physicians, so unprofessional and just down right rude! Not only do they not try to help you but I have been sitting in the examination room for over 40 minutes now. I got here at 10:45, my appointment was at 11:00. They don’t even deserve the second star I gave them

Horrible, they dont even deserve a 1 star. Recently went to a new doctor, they told me that the testing and diagnosis was wrong. They were horrible and told me I wouldnt have children. All lies just to get my money.Do not go here.

This is an imaging center. They do 3D mammography. The center is small and friendly. Was looking for something smaller than hospital mammography centers and was very pleased.

Natalie is very personal, thorough, and quick. Love the office staff and how understanding they are when experiencing an urgent matter.

I was treated and talked to horribly at this office. The minute I walked into the door, I was made to feel like I was unworthy. I would not even give this one star; although, it will not allow me to post it without selecting it.

The nurses are unbelievably unhelpful. They diagnosed me over the phone, and they were wrong. Im VERY unhappy for the amount of pain and the costs it has taken to be fixed.

Nurses and office staff are the worst to deal with. The doctors are wonderful though.
