They showed me so much love and support . I didn’t have a long wait like another place I went too. Everyone was so nice and gentle . I wasn’t nervous I felt comfortable and at ease. I was able to bring someone to support me.The nurses and doctor was so nice and supportive. In an uncomfortable situation I was extremely okay.i didn’t know how I was going to feel coming here but I was alright I didn’t leave with my mind all over the place or anything I was really fine.The person I bought to support me even had good things to say about how I was treated for my visit. I thought it was going to take a full day because of the other reviews and it didn’t. I really recommend this place to someone who’s just not ready to be a mom or a mom again. It’s okay you’ll be fine .great place I give them 5 stars !!!

My experience with them went very well. They were very attentive and answered any question I had regarding my appointment. The staff is very is nice and make sure you’re comfortable while you’re there. Everything is step by step and they ask questions in between to make sure you fully understand what they’re telling you.You may wait a little while but that’s normal at any appointment you have. They also have snacks in the waiting area so it’s a very comfortable setting. I would highly recommend to someone in need of a service they have.

The service here was great. Friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing service overall. I did my walk in and it didn’t take long. They made sure I knew what I wanted and that I was sure, never pressured me or try to make me feel ashamed or judged. They helped me in every way they could and comfort me through it all. They made sure I was okay and they honestly had my best interest at heart. They also made sure to do a follow up with me to make sure everything was good and if I needed further assistance. They tried their best to give me everything possible that I would need to help with recovery and offered other assistance in which I wouldn’t have to go through my situation again. Like I said amazing service and I’m honestly happy I found this clinic because I’ve never met individuals so welcoming and understanding and don’t judge for something you think is best for you.

I looked up women’s wellness facilities near me and this one stuck out to me. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. When I walked in the staff was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. The women at the front desk and beyond were extremely attentive. They were able to answer any questions I had regarding my paperwork and anything else. During my visit with the doctor she made me feel seen and heard. Her support was greatly appreciated. The office size and cleanliness made everything feel more personable. They offered snacks and drinks during my wait time. I really appreciate the entire staff for taking my feelings and emotions into consideration. I can honestly say I recommend this office for any of there services. The Virginia Women’s Wellness Clinic was great. The staff are extremely informative and offer guidance as you are going through different steps/processes. The nurses are friendly and the doctors are kind!Initially, I was nervous for my appointment, but upon coming in that quickly changed. You are greeted by someone, quickly signed in, and given a seat in a waiting area to relax. There’s always some kind of movie on and even a little jar of candies! The staff make sure you’re comfortable throughout the time that you are there and do their best to accommodate everyone’s needs.No matter what your reason may be for making an appointment, they inform you of every option you have. Big or small. And they offer space for you to ask questions if needed. Every staff member I spoke with was nice, respectful, and made it a point to make me feel comfortable.Upon leaving, I felt confident that I had made the right choice by choosing this clinic. I wasn’t dreading my follow up appointment or questioning whether I needed a second opinion. I left with everything I needed and feeling more confident than when I first walked in.

I wholeheartedly recommend this service. Notwithstanding my initial nervousness, I was able to pose a multitude of questions to the doctor, who responded with expertise and sensitivity. If you plan to bring a support person, factor in the extra charge. In my view, charging for a support person is unnecessary. However, my experience was impressively streamlined, and I was attended to in a timely manner.

I needed services and found this location online. I wasn’t sure how the experience would go. But the staff were very helpful and informative. They made me feel comfortable and welcome and ease through each step. They were patient with me, informing me with all details of all treatments.The staff were helpful with assisting with decision making and explaining all the pros and cons of all services. This place made me feel absolutely the most comfortable during an uncomfortable situation. They made me feel like I was heard by everyone there and that I was doing everything right by my own choices. I was given caring counseling before the process and even during my follow up. I would definitely recommend this place again and again for anyone, even for just a regular check up for needing birth control! 12/10 stars!!

Whenever I came into this place me and my husband felt very scared about having a procedure because of things we’ve seen online of bad experiences when it comes to these things but whenever we came here to this clinic we felt very welcomed. No judgement here! They were very kind and generous also reassurance us that this was okay. The staff were so friendly, supportive, professional, and the cleanliness of this clinic is outstanding. Me and my husband are very pleased about coming here and very thankful for what they have done for us. Before and after the procedure. Very thankful again for what they have done for us and would highly recommend this clinic. They have answers to all the questions and will make sure you are very well taken care of. Wait time is a bit long I will say but it is all worth it for the care and things they offer to you.

During my experience there, I was glad there were no poster testers wait by the office I was able to go in without being stopped by them. The office was very, staff is very friendly. They explained everything very well I didn’t have a lot of questions. They allow you to have you a support person with you so you don’t feel alone through the whole process. They have options when it comes to getting the procedure done you can either be awake or sleep, and when everything was said and done the care provided by the staff was phenomenal they made sure I was comfortable. Overall please with how they assist you through a very tough decision.

My experience at the abortion clinic was pretty well.This staff treated me with all type of kindness. This wait wasnt too long in and out. Staff was very concern with needs. No processor is outside.lovely office. Mostly female staff which made me feel very comfortathe.The doctor was very informative. Very organized and sanitary. I was able to get an appointment pretty soon, and they were accommodating to my busy schedule, which is hard to find these days, they were able to fit me right in. They answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process every step of the way. I just want to notate that I had a great experience at this facility. All of the doctors were very nice and explained everything. I was greeted immediately when I went in the door. Place is easy to find and they are experienced with this type of situations. If you are wondering on whether to use this location, I think it is a great one. I had an easy process and was back up and doing things in a little less than a week. The location is very convenient and has great hours so if you are ever in a pinch, this facility can accommodate you. I felt safe and welcomed and not judged and it made the process a lot easier. Has good reviews and would suggest this place to others that are in this situation. I have fully recovered and my follow up appt was easy and simple. Counseling is quick and easy. Ultrasound was very quick and simple as well. I would suggest this facility over PPH as it is a smaller more personable feel. With the right care , this was something easy and safe that I could handle on my own.

I went in for a medical termination and was created by the staff and a calm environment. Though there was a fairly long wait time, they had a clean clinic, movies playing in the waiting area, and once i went back to get the process started, they provided counseling and emotional support for the choice and after that you wait to speak to the doctor again and they ensure you’re making a choice you are comfortable with which is very reaffirming. Once you begin the procedure, they explain the medication and what to expect and what is not normal along with what to look out for. It was a comfortable experience considering the circumstances and I would recommend a friend to go here if they needed the same services. Side note: bring cash, as there is an extra surcharge fee for card payments :)

I had an appointment at this office due to having switching physicians and everyone was very pleasant and nice. From the front desk clerk to the Dr! Customer service & cleanliness is major to me having been with my Dr for years & I was a little nervous trying a new facility and I can honestly say they exceeded both! Although there were quite a few patients to be seen, the time was not bad at all. They answered all questions I had & the wait time was not bad at all. They were thorough with my appt and the Dr was extremely knowledgeable. To my understanding there are quite a few services offered here and from what I can tell everyone was comfortable. All around amazing office and services.

Great place of business with NO Judgement!!! They listen and understand the reason of my choice without trying to change my mind. The services were with care. The virginia women’s wellness clinic was very great. The staff were very welcoming. The time you have to wait in the waiting area they have a movie on for you and little snacks.The staff make sure you are sure of what you’re doing. The place is very clean and nice.The doctors and nurses are very supportive and caring. They make sure to answer questions if you have them. They also make sure they keep asking if you have questions just to let you know that you can talk to them.My experience was very nice and better than what i thought it would have been. I was very scared and worry at first. Once i got in with the nurses and doctors i felt like i was in good hands and didn’t have to worry anymore. They make sure they watch and elevate the whole time to make sure that you’re okay.

The safe was friendly and the process was very smooth . They explained everything and provided counseling before the procedure incase you needed support . They also offered a follow up appointment where you could get birth control services if needed . They also had water bottles and small snacks in the waiting room . I was also able to bring my boyfriend for moral support which was great . I would recommend especially because they have great rates .

When going to this location they made me feel very safe,comfortable and secure when coming in and telling them what was going on. The staff made this experience less stressful and scary like I thought it would be which was definitely a relief. This place has the most caring and compassionate team around. Coming here was not an easy choice, but they were here for me every step of the way and did everything in the most humane way possible. They help so many women and if you need them they will help you.

The experience was great, they took their time explaining from the beginning to the end, through my experience it was something totally different . They totally understood no judgement form. I really appreciate the service I received absolutely great , I was surly recommended folks to come here and get help and they are willing to give you helpful tips. Once again the service was great the team were understanding.

We had an appointment for services for bc and to discuss other things. The staff was welcoming and kind throughout the whole process. The staff was able to consult and answer all questions asked. They were not judgmental and assisted in all of our needs. They were attentive and made sure we understood all policies and what was going on. The provider was kind and explained everything that was being done. We would definitely recommend our friends and family members. And they have appointments on Saturdays.

All staff were kind , compassionate, and supportive. The wait IS bad - you get called back and sent back into the waiting room I want to say 3 to 4 times. Wait time was about 4 to 5 hours and while yes, that is excruciating - if you tell them youre feeling unwell or hungry they offer refreshments snacks etc. The medical staff Is very informative , easy to talk to , and the doctors really do worry and care for your well being. There were no protestors on property to harass the patients either, which in my opinion made the wait worth it. These women are already struggling emotionally and physically prior to arrival. The last they need is a strangers pushing their opinions on them and shaming them.

I want to say thank you to the staff for being so kind in a situation that could bring any woman to their knees. I came in apprehensive, scared, unsure of what was to come, and unaware of the process; however, I am very impressed with how knowledgeable each member of the staff is. I was treated with pure kindness, no judgement, sincerety, and helpfulness with what I considered to be a difficult decision to make. The counseling is impeccable and the process is smooth and unlike anything I would have expected. I recommend this center to any woman having a hard time with this decision as the staff here helped me more than I could have ever predicted.

I currently live on the peninsula & trying to find a clinic that offered medical and surgical procedures was almost impossible!!! This clinic was one of the few I could find that offers both procedures. The medical procedure is about $395. I made my appt fork a Sunday, which I was told, is a new thing, I was in sround 945am and out by 1145am. I don’t have any previous experience at other clinics to compare my experience, but my experience here was good.My entire appt took about 2 hours. I was the only patient in the office so I would definitely recommend Sundays to book an appt. The doctor was thorough. He explained pros and cons of each procedure. I never felt he was rude and the payment was never made into a huge deal. He provided me with a doctors note for my work, in case I needed a few days off to heal. He answered all of my questions and provided me with tons of reassurance and hope.I received my first medication in the office and finished the remainder 24 hours later at home. It was very bearable & comfortable. (Although I do recommend having ibuprofen and Tylenol to rotate after completing the pills) The doctors (male & female) both made me feel so comfortable, relived, relaxed and hopeful.Of course I would prefer to never have to come back to any type of clinic like this, in the future, if I do require something of such, I will definitely come back here. While I can’t compare my experience to any other clinic or how they run during a weekday, I am very happy with my overall experiences and results.

Please don’t come here. This has by far been one of the worst experiences . It just seems super disorganized and sketchy. The amount of time I spent going back and forth to be seen is ridiculous. My appointment was at 945a and it’s going on 1230p and my procedure still has not been done . The nurse that does the ultrasound is really ghetto loud and unprofessional, not really sure how she got this job. The front desk nurse is clearly just collecting a paycheck . I also didn’t like how the procedure was presented to me as if I’d most likely have complications or a delay. This has just been a terribly long experience and I’m just ready for it to be over with . Yes it’s cheaper than PP but not worth the emotional stress and time wasted. Never coming back here .

They only have a male doctor.The front desk is rude and uncaring.Rather than being helpful, the doctor often calls off the day prior without warning.When the doctor calls off, they have no one else. So your appointment is pushed back.Rather than talking about the procedure and offering help they list cash only and speak about the prices.Its a sketchy and uncaring place who are adamant on being unhelpful.

The staff (doctors, nurses, etc) were so nice and comforting during everything! They make sure you feel safe and comfortable throughout the whole process. They are very flexible with your schedule and are very lenient if you have to reschedule. Very clean environment. Highly recommend for anyone in the tidewater area.

Spent a total of 10+ hrs(two 5hr appointments)waiting in a hot, over crowded small wait room. Others had wait in the stair well. The staff over books and are inefficient. No one deserves to be treated this way. The doctor was great but the wait time and lack of respect from the staff made the experience terrible. There are other clinics in Hampton Roads that will treat you with the respect you deserve

Plan to be there all day. Need to hire more qualified personnel working the front desk who arent rude. Im assuming its the rude front desk clerks who make the 10 appointments in a one hour slot. So your in the waiting room with 10 people who came In to be seen the same time as you. Wait time exceeded 3 hours (just to be seen).

The staff was very kind and compassionate. The waiting in the hot and very crowded waiting room was not so great but it was all worth it. The Dr was very professional and made the procedure fly by for me.They had very good after care and explained all possible risks to me fully and made things very clear for me to understand.

The wait time was RIDICULOUS. I was there from 915 until 4pm. The staff was very polite though. The doctor was awesome. The recovery nurse was so nice.... I would recommend this place ONLY if you want a sooner appointment than planned parenthood. Otherwise go to planned parenthood !!!

While the nurse sitting at the desk was very friendly, the other ones standing around the desk were not. They were leaning against her desk eating, and talking about the weekend instead of helping the 7 people in the waiting room. Instead of being greeted with a friendly hello, I was stared at and made to feel very uncomfortable. The waiting room smelled like smoke and it was a very uncomfortable environment. After I spoke with the nurse about payment, I decided to go to PP instead because I was made to feel so uncomfortable at the AWS office. My friend had previously gone there a few years earlier and told me it had gone downhill. It is a shame, for it is one of only 2 places to go if you need services. Stay away if you want to feel comfortable...go to PP instead. Even with the locks on the doors and protestors, it still is 100% better than AWS.

I was an 11AM appointment. I wasn’t actually seen by a doctor until after 4pm. All of the 11am appointments were seen by 1-2pm & then everyone went on break, leaving me & 1 other 11am appt out of about 10. Myself & her were very upset that they didn’t seem to care that we hadn’t ate or drank anything & were not allowed to, despite the long wait, yet just across the hall they were enjoying their food, telling us over and over, it will just be a bit longer... an hour or so later she was seen after being told the same thing. I was seen about an hour & a half after her. It was very unorganized & unfair. I threw up roughly 4 times there that they were aware of, yet that didn’t stop them from enjoying their lunches despite knowingly overscheudling our appointments which in turn resulted in us both becoming very nauseous, more nervous & irritable. Once out of surgery, within 2 minutes the lady said I’m good to leave, even if I threw the antibiotics up, even if I was still in pain.... just to rush me out. She clearly didn’t understand how important those crackers & water were after waiting so long on an empty & pregnant stomach. They also use an unsafe, irregular method for abortion pill, it’s an injection, please do your research! Do NOT come here unless you are having a surgical procedure. Doctor was great & some of the nurses were near the end once they realized how sick I’ve become & how long I had waited compared to the other 11AMs. I still honestly felt singled out as if they didn’t want to help me & I felt as if they enjoyed seeing me sick like that. Again, doctor was great, but the front end needs work. It is a clean environment & laid back for what it is though.

I recently went here for the vacuum aspiration and could not get the iv sedation twilight because i didnt have a driver SO the procedure was a bit painful BUT the Dr. talked me through it and the nurse held my hand and reassured me the entire time. The place is clean, the staff and Dr. were very kind and compassionate. I definitely recommend this place.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This doctor had his license revoked in Maryland. This clinic performs abortions which has nothing to do with the wellness of women or babies. Don’t go here. Photo proves what I’m saying. Save yourself and your baby.

I’ve been here since 9 am literally. Still haven’t even been sedated to start the abortion. I DO NOT recommend. Please listen to the horrible reviews. Everyone is wonderful except the front desk lady. But still if you can help it do not waste your time coming here. The reviews are 100000% true!

My experience here was horrible. i dont believe in abortions but after two kids i cant afford another ...not right now anyway. I came here and could not believe how rude the doctor was.. not once but twice, so rude that the second appt i left without being checked by him after waiting for two hours. an abortion is already a hard enough experience tack on ruthless doctor and rude nurses and it makes for a tramatic experience , if you have a heart dont go here...

Should have probably looked at the reviews. Was there for an hour and still not seen. They said I would likely be there for 5 and they were short staffed.One of the most trying things a wan can gp through and why would yall have people there for that long. No empathy and just eww. Left, id rather pay more for better service.

I cannot believe the lack of professionalism here. I even over heard one of the staff member state she wasnt even qualified to do what shes required to do for her job. SMH. Youre putting lives at risk. I have asked numerous times for the Office Manager or Corporate Office to return my calls and have yet to receive a response, 2 months later. The website is not updated so don’t waste your time if you’re calling for any exams. The website states that they do Pap smears, pelvic exams and other services but they don’t.They only handle abortions nothing else that is on the website is available here. They didn’t even bother explaining services they provide.

Everyone was super kind and personable. They made a serious situation feel light and were very relatable. I thought I was going to be here a super long time, but I wasn’t. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for their services.

This clinic was clean & nice and the staff was friendly as well & they do theyre best to help you and answer any questions you have, without hesitation and this made me feel more comfortable since it was my first time going. Thank you

Yestday i make a phone call to make an appointment for 11 o clock, too bad turn to ask the front desk middle attitude also said the two men in front of you . in the five or six havent turn again to ask he said let me waiting for 15 minutes after 15 minutes havent turn service super poor

The doctor was unkind and not compassionate at all and when I told him I had miscarried this past year he assumed I had an abortion there before horrible staff the place stinks like cigarettes I should have choose a tidewater womens clinic I heard they are way more concerning and care for their patients

Um... I didnt even go here. I called the wrong number and they hung up on me. I get I called the wrong place-- but it doesnt cost anything to just say sorry wrong number.

This place has a very long wait time not enough sitting. The nurses where very very rude. I would never recommend or come here again.

My experience here was amazing. When researching clinics, I was concerned for what it was going to be like. However, coming here and feeling all these great nurses doing their best to be friendly and welcoming made my worries go away. The staff were super supportive and helpful with any of my concerns or questions. They were very thorough explaining all my options and the procedures they offered. They never made me feel pressured of any decision regarding my health but rather listened and made sure I was prepared for any decision I made. I’m so thankful that through this difficult time I was made to feel supported, heard, and safe.
