I was very pleased with our experience there. I had an appointment and didnt have to wait very long to be seen. Everyone was very kind and professional. The Nurse Practitioner I saw was great. She knew her stuff and treated my kidney infection aggressively, which is what I wanted.
Great experience. Everyone was so nice and really professional. Hadnt been to an Urgent Care in 13 years and didnt realize you could reserve a time. So I settled in to wait a long time. Dodnt happen. I was seen within 30 minutes and was out the door 15 minutes later. Had a nice conversation with the provided. She was great. Couldnt ask for more than that.
I waited more than an hour and a half after my online scheduled appointment time be seen. This was very difficult given I was in pain. Not sure how long I would have waited if I had not been asking questions about my appointment. I dont know what was going on, but they finally got it in gear and managed to get me out the door in time to squeak in getting to a nearby pharmacy just before it closed.Otherwise, staff was pretty nice, especially the MA, and appreciate they are open late and had appointments available.A note in general about online appointments, type fast. One place had 2 open appointments and by the time I had entered my Info, they were filled!
Extremely nice and helpful up front at the reception desk. Got me in when I didn’t have an appointment. Only had about one hour wait. Saw the doctor on duty and she was very helpful, understanding and excellent overall demeanor. All of the staff were fast and responsive with the whole process. Would recommend this facility if you are in need.
The hour was late but really, it is clear that everyone was working as hard as they could. The person at the desk was very polite. When my spouse finally did get called back he was taken care of and we have praise for them and how they handled it. It was very late, but you could tell that everyone that day was just very busy.
Scheduled an appointment for 11:45. When I arrived there was only one person in the waiting room ahead of me. After 35 minutes I was taken back to triage then sent back to the lobby where I was told a second doctor was arriving soon. Waited another 20 minutes to go to an exam room. Twenty five minutes more to see doctor. Needed X-rays… tech for that was fast, but doc didn’t come back to give me results for 30 minutes after X-rays. Then treated my injuries. So an appointment still resulted in me being there for 3 hours.
Though I understand that they take people in order of need, I was struggling to breathe due to asthma, and two people that arrived after me and had later appointments were called back first. They did not appear to be more symptomatic, and definitely were not struggling to breathe. The doctor was a bit hands off, but he did have a lot of patients and was working alone. I appreciate the care I received, but these are things that can be improved.
My overall NextCare expierence was very painless and pleasant. Even though I was suffering from a severe case of strept throat. They quickly diagnosed what ailed me and went on to expedite the rest of my visit in as timely a manner as possible. Ensuring that I was able to get my prescription before the pharmacy closed, which in turn allowed me to begin treatment immediately, and thus ultimately had me feeling better in record time. Thanks to NextCare and their awesome staff, I could say I was...Alive in 2025!!!
*PLEASE NOTE: normally my experience has been a good one, but this time it was not. we tried the video call & of course that was a waste of time as they said my son needed to be seen to diagnose. what is the point then of a video call? we were scheduled to come in, waited in the car for 30 min till it was our place in line, then waited inside for over 30 min! the whole point of waiting in the car was to not have to be in the office with all the other sick people! i am immune compromised and this is NOT OK! the whole thing took over 2 hours even tho we scheduled an appointment. SO MUCH just WAITING! then they wanted to give my kid steroids even tho they found nothing bacterial that needed it. great idea, LOWER his already sick immune system. just a bad experience over all this time. the front staff and lady that did the xray were great tho.
I went in with something stuck in my throat. Made me fill out all the paperwork and got me into the exam room after collecting my co-pay. Waited about 10 minutes to be seen, only to be told to they dont have the tools to remove objects in the throat. I was told to go to emergency room and told me that they would call ahead and let them know I was on my way. They didnt call and I got a $ 400 ER bill for the privilege of sitting in the ER for 6.5 hours. Thanks for taking my money and sending me to the ER.
Went in for a sore throat & booked appointment at 5:15 on 12/8. i checked in at 5, but wasn’t seen until 5:30. the person who swabbed my throat was great & professional. we waited for another 15 minutes for someone named audrey shaeffer. she told me i didn’t have strep & proceeded to ask me about my cycle. how does that have any correlation?? she gave no post visit care recommendations & her bedside manner leaves much to be desired. she was extremely rude & condescending. do better.
I had a great experience at next care! Everyone did there job perfectly. I was not left wondering or concerned like most places. A special Thank you to provider Ward PAC,Taylor for making my visit as comfortable as it could have been . 5 stars all the way.Sincerely ,Patient :Roxanne Perkins
I didnt make an appointment, so had to wait, less than an hour. Impressed with the efficiency of everyone! Got tested for everything, x ray, prescriptions ordered, didnt take long. Definitely the go to place if you dont need the ER.
The atmosphere on a Sunday morning was perfect. No bright lights, calming. I was already nervous. I was seen right away, without an appointment, and out in 90 min, including x-rays. Everyone was nice and professional. Put my mind at ease!
Was very positive and office was open. Had stopped at another Urgent care facility, was turned away because my daughter and I were show symptoms of sicknes( pneumonia). Got help was very grateful. On the mend.
Long wait, high copay. My daughter was diagnosed with the flu yesterday. I started getting symptoms yesterday that worsened today, made an appointment to get a prescription for Tamiflu (I need to work Monday). I didnt test positive for flu, but its beyond 48 hours since my first symptom. They would not prescribe Tamiflu like I asked, which was very frustrating. My wife and two daughters definitely have the flu too. So I paid a high copay to get seen and they did NOTHING for me.
My first visit to this urgent care and I was extremely satisfied. Everyone was polite - helpful and professional. I had very little wait time and received excellent care. It will be my go to urgent care for any needed care in the future!!
Very quick service even though we came at 11:25 pm (with an appointment at 11:30 pm)! The nurses and PA were very nice and attentive!! Easily my best urgent care experience ever!
I am horrified at the medical attention I received today. I was left alone coughing and dizzy for 40 minutes. When the provider finally came in she knew I had no voice due to being so sick. I typed out everything I was feeling, when it started, and what I was experiencing currently. She refused to read what I typed and actually said, I know how to read. She told me I had to talk to explain it. Then told me to show movies to my students after I told her I had to be able to teach tomorrow. When I told her thats not what teachers do, her response was, What? Its not the 80s anymore? I will 100% find another location.
The ladies at the front desk were great but it wasn’t until I was seen by Doctor Betsy that things went down hill. She has an attitude and was impatient with me while I was in pain and tried my best to follow her instructions as well. She also was trying to make it seem like I didn’t know what I was talking about in regards on not feeling well by saying she doesn’t understand what hurts and what time I started feeling pain and had an attitude towards me while doing it. She needs to be transferred out or something. She should not be working in health care if she doesn’t have the patience or the attitude to be dealing with patients that are in pain or feel unwell. It’s not the patients fault she chose this profession. Maybe she had a bad day but I did not feel comfortable whatsoever during this visit.
Front desk ladies were very nice lady who did the triage was very nice. Doctor was rude. Accuse me of arguing with her when I was just asking questions about my symptoms.
I called around 7 pm and the receptionist scheduled me for 11:30 pm because that was all they had. (I didn’t realize they close at 12 am, but she knew.) I check in a couple min before my appt and at midnight they call me back. I filled out all of my check in papers with my info, what i was there for, and all that. I had a male assistant/ nurse? Who pulled me into the initial room for vitals. He asked what i was there for and it clearly made me uncomfortable, i paused and stay silent and he didn’t catch any of my social queues even though i couldn’t even make eye contact and i was visibly uncomfy, granted i could have just said I was uncomfortable but i didn’t, because i was kind of stunned. But he didn’t utilize any of my check in information; height, weight, reason… That really bothered me, why have me fill it out if they’re just going to ask regardless. He also was talking really fast and i read his social queues, he was just trying to get me out of his way cuz they were closed. Then i was put in a room and waited another 5-10 min, which is pushing me past closing. The nurse practitioner doesn’t knock to let me know she was coming in, she swung the door open and barged in just staring at me, she was talking super fast too and treated me like i was in the way. She asked what was going on, and instead of running any tests she assumes to tell me it’s an STI. Which i know it isn’t. She then tells me “since we’re closed i can’t run any rapid tests because it will take 30 min to process so you’ll have to wait for it to be sent to the lab, or you can come back tomorrow.I get what she was telling me, but why schedule an appointment 30 min before closing knowing what i was coming in for?! Also, i would assume best practice would be to run the test since I’m there. I did my part making an Appointment, showing up on time, and being patient. It just felt very insensitive along with feeling rushed, i ultimately felt like i wasted my time and money on a baby sitter to be sent home without any information.Coming into urgent care is already stressful enough without any of these occurrences.
Ultrasound for IV placement really helped. Regular blood draw nurse knew her job well and made it easier by explaining things to me. Dr was observant, knowledgeable, prescribed medications that were gentle enough for me, an elderly person. The room where patients stayed was very cold, very uncomfortable.
Waited 2 hours for a cat bite just for FNP Cassandra Owens to take a quick peek at the bite and tell me it was “superficial” when there was definitely a puncture wound. She also completely disregarded the fact that I am 25 weeks pregnant and am at a higher risk for infection. I felt like she was very dismissive and didn’t care. I also mentioned that the cat was not up to date on their rabies vaccine which I think should’ve been taken into consideration but again she disregarded the fact. I will not recommend this location to anyone!
We waited 2+ hours and a woman who complained about the wait jumped us in line to be seen. We were triaged and sent back to the waiting room before being called back to a room to wait more. Once the NP came to our room, we (my son was the patient) were quickly and respectfully diagnosed and treated.
There were two receptionists there, the First Lady was very polite and trying to accommodate, when the Second Lady came in and was very rude and told me I have to wait for my appointment time and could come back later. I stated I would wait and she rolled her eyes at me. We patiently waited until our appointment time, then a child and his parents came in. They did not have an appointment for his sports physical, but the Second Lady went out of her way to ask the provider if she would see them. It was closer to my appointment time so I asked if I could check in and she snapped at me “your appointment isn’t until 10:40!” So I waited longer and checked in on my phone at 10:19. During this time another visibly sick patient came in stated she was told to come back at 10:00 to be seen. The Second Lady said she could not see her because there were no more spots available not even for walk in. The patient stated again “I was told to come back at 10pm when I was here at 8:00pm” the second receptionist again told her well we can’t see you tonight”. When it was my appointment time, the kid for a sports physical was called back first, even though more than one patient previously was told walk ins were not being taking anymore. I went and asked why this patient was being called before my sick son and his appointment. The Second Lady then said to me “you will be called next” i then asked her again why and she snapped at me “I am not dealing with you today” and threw her hand up to shoot me away. When I seen the NP she didn’t even know what was wrong with my son and said well it probably is this. No confidence in her decision. Then when I was leaving the same receptionist shoved the papers at me and mumbled something under her breath while not making eye contact at all with me.I have NEVER experienced this type of treatment in the medical field. And I work in the medical field. This treatment was a disgrace to the field.
I scheduled online, and waited in my car until my turn came up on the wait list. It was very nice and convenient. The staff was so sweet and caring. A very good experience. I would definitely recommend!
I was extremely unhappy with my visit. My breathing was very compromised and I was told that it was too late as they close at 4. I had made an appointment for 2 hours prior to closure. Their prognosis to go to ER for monitoring and IV steroids. It would have made the trip to ER more tolerable.
If you have an appointment scheduled, be prepared to wait an hour past appointment time to be checked out. If you don’t have an appointment, they say the next available walk in is 3 hours away. It never fails at this location. I need to take my daughter again today but after reading the reviews and having the same terrible experiences as many others, it’s obviously the norm here. Unfortunate because this is the closest urgent care to home but no thanks.
Hearing the doctors tell the new staff not to waste over 10 minutes per case thru the door was super reassuring. Guy was a prick. And the doctor ended up being mine. And as instructed..... after I waited 45 minutes.... she looked at me and walked out. $254 later. Dont go here!!! They arent medical professionals and they dont care. Girl who gave me my vaccine couldnt even pronounce the word immunization and dropped everything on the floor.
I had cut my finger making breakfast. The wait time is beyond ridiculous, as I sit in the lobby bleeding for an hour and a half before Im taken back. Then another hour and a half waiting in the room. My wound was not taken care of properly and I had to return the next day. The wait time was a LITTLE bit shorter. But it was the same process with my wound not being taken care of properly, again. Dumped some peroxide on it and sent me on my way. Where I returned home and attended to myself better than they could. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this facility. More than likely never returning to the company. 0/10 recommend
The doctor was very thorough and careful. The service was quick as possible. The staff were friendly and helpful.
You need to make an appointment, which kind defeats the purpose of urgent care, otherwise you can wait as long as 3+ hours. Other than that bit of bad office management, the services provided by staff once youre taken in were just fine and helpful.
Easy in...easy out! They listened to my symptoms and prescribed the medications to relieve my symptoms. 24 hours later and I can breath much better! Thanks to all involved in my care!Merry Christmas 🎅
I started my cycle early Sunday 8/11/24. Cycle r irregular. I woke up on 8/12/24with heavy bleeding/ blood-clotsMy shower lasted 4-5 hours. Due to the insane B & C continuous to Tuesday 8/13. Same pattern all over again.I was able to book an appointment that same day. I was in and out within 45 min with instructions to get to hospital. ASAP. Made perfect sense of course.Despite I couldn’t be treated there fully. Due to the severity of my symptoms/condition. Which was the reason for my visit obviously. The staff has always been & still is amazing. Just as always very attentive and friendly. In addition I’m certain that if they could’ve fully, fulfilled done & treated my visit . There they would’ve done just that. However I still would definitely recommend! Especially for the sake of one’s own healthcare needs and life’s.Whether “BIG or small.”PS. Thank you. NextCare Staff. Ironically. It really helps feeling treaded good, with dignity compassion and care. When not feeling/doing so well. You guys are the BEST!
Terrible service at the Spanish trail location from Kaydence -Karen-.I had called at 7pm on Monday for a Sports physical. Krystal answered the phone said she only had a 9:30 pm spot I could reserve or I could walk in and she made me believe the walk in would be better since it was only a physical.I show up at 8:30 and Kayvence -acting like a Karen- told me the soonest She could check me in would be at 10:30pm.I waited and waited and waited then I questioned her when all customers who were online left, how if they could see me now since there was nobody a the lobby. Even when a medical assistant from the back office called a customer who had reserved who wasn’t there yet. She told me with an attitude “ You can leave if you don’t want to wait” I was shocked, I told her she was being rude if I didn’t need the physical I would have walked out.I asked to speak to somebody else this was so wrong. She told me she was the night supervisor -actually acted like if she was the owner-. I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody. Bad bad service.
Everyone was friendly from the front to the back office. Very clean. The wait time wasnt that bad compared to going to other urgent cares or ER. I had an appt and waited 30 min to be seen.
I came into urgent care to get a blood test. before getting service with the clinic, the clerk confirmed with me that my insurance will have this covered and I will not be charged anything in addition out of my pocket , now two weeks later I get a letter from urgent care that my insurance only paid 70 dollars and I got to pay an additional 195.10 dollars on a single blood test.Very dishonest from urgent care I don’t recommend.when I called over the phone to get help and to settle this matter I was treated in a very rude and impolite way in seeking to help me get this resolved,of course I didn’t get my money back.I’m writing this for future clients to be aware how this company operates so you don’t be scammed by urgent care!
It may not be everyone’s experience but I was left to rot in Room 1. My follow up appointment was at 10:15am. I checked in at 9:47am. About half an hour later, they take my vitals, and was sent back to the lobby. I checked the app and by 11:30-11:45am the was only one person ahead of me. I was called to the examination room 1 around 12:00pm. At 12:45 I asked for an estimated time, I was told I should be next. 1:00pm arrives and at this point I’m crying, my anxiety is through the roof. So at 1:20pm, I asked the front desk what would happen if I leave now. She went on and checked on the provider. When she came back she said sorry but the provider was now in room 6. I ended up rescheduling. All the patients I saw in the morning had already left. I don’t know what’s the time frame a patient is supposed to wait, but I imagine it’s not more than 3 hours for a follow up that could only take 15 mins tops.
It took me 1.5 hours to check in and finish my procedure. I thought that was a good time overall. My care by 2 people was excellent and I was happy with the result.
They were nice but I know I have a stomach ulcer and instead of prescribing something to help the healing start I was referred to the er. Iv had urgent cares help me before. ER is not necessary for this. And they also put incorrect notes on my discharge papers on where my pain was. I feel like I was rushed out and not listened to and had to spend money for no reason and wasted time.
I was seen quickly but had to wait 45 minutes before someone decided to suture my forehead. I think they were drawing straws, a wonderful NP came in induced herself and took over. She did an excellent job.
Beyond awful. We picked up one of the many illnesses around and ended up here because its convenient, and it was the weekend. Barely spending any time with us, they diagnosed my teenage daughter with bronchitis. They immediately gave her steroids and a prescription for an inhaler and sent us on our way. The next day, she was worse. I got her in with her pediatrician, who took one listen to her lungs and said she has pneumonia. In addition to the co-pay I paid to NextCare, I also received a bill for $111.I dont have a primary care physician, so I ended up here when I woke up one morning with severe flu symptoms (severe headache, fever, chills, body aches, and cough). I immediately let them know that my daughter had recently been diagnosed with pneumonia and had experienced the same symptoms, and they said it wasnt relevant. They tested me for flu and covid, which both came back negative, so they said oh, you have bronchitis. What?!I sought a different urgent care a week later because I was worse and didnt want to attempt NextCare again. They prescribed cough pearls and said come back in 3 weeks if not better. A week later, my only option was to return to NextCare or an emergency room. I made an appt. at NextCare and even showed up a little early. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours, gasping for air. When they finally saw me, I requested an x-ray, and the provider refused. It wont change how we treat you. Were going to treat for pneumonia either way. I asked again for an x-ray, and he again refused. I asked a third time, saying that I wanted there to be something to compare to if things continued to get worse, and he again refused. He said he would give me a referral to get one done somewhere else if I really wanted one.The level of care is awful. They hand out diagnoses based on what theyve been seeing in other patients, not based on the person in front of them. I have friends who sought care from them recently and experienced the same. We will not return here, and we will definitely not recommend it to anyone else.
My visit today was at 1:45pm. I’ve been coming here for years now and never leave disappointed staff is very empathetic towards you. ALL OF THEM. Ashley the the provider that saw me and she’s an AMAZING PRACTITIONER
The staff was so professional and quick. But it wasn’t rushed quick, it was efficient quick. I could tell that they respected my time. The NP and all the staff had wonderful bedside manner. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I hope I never get really super sick again, but if I do, I will definitely go back to NextCare!
The team was able to see my daughter the same day and diagnosed her as having the flu. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this facility for your health needs.
My daughter was refused to be seen because the front desk wanted her to pay her co-pay AND her deductible even before she was seen. The co-pay is no problem, but how can this clinic even know what is left of her deductible and what other claims may be pending? How do they even know what procedures or tests will be performed? I can only imagine how difficult it would be to get a refund for an overpayment. Not visiting this location again.
The visit went very well.. we got there at around 9:35pm and got out at 10:15pm. All necessary questions were made and we went home satisfied
Not great honestly. i went in to get checked out because i was having bad asthma and sick symptoms. they sent me home after giving me a covid test i could’ve done at home. they weren’t very fast either i waited almost 3 hours to have an at home test done there.
Knee laceration from mountain biking on a Sunday. Got seen in about 3O minutes and Darlene the PA did a great job suturing. Should be out biking again in no time!
What do you guys do? Kids not feeling well dizzy. Well you don’t have Covid they said go to the emergency room. Every time we go here they send us somewhere else. They like to collect there money and never not once have you ever fixed anything
If I could give negative stars, I would. I have always had positive experiences at this urgent care—my children, my husband, and I all come here regularly and have generally received compassionate, reliable care. Unfortunately, this recent experience with a specific PA was very different.I’m 7 weeks pregnant and struggling with severe morning sickness. I’m constantly vomiting, unable to keep any food or fluids down, and my throat is raw. This is my seventh pregnancy experiencing this level of sickness, and the only thing that reliably helps is Zofran. I have a history of hospitalizations as a result of this severe vomiting and dehydration. After a two-hour wait, the PA refused to prescribe it, citing outdated data on fetal risk, despite my explaining that recent studies confirm Zofran’s safety and that I’ve safely taken it in previous pregnancies. She dismissed my concerns, saying she was “not comfortable” prescribing it, leaving me without relief or any alternatives. Additionally, making smart remarks like, “the internet is not a medical doctor.” Of course it is not, but we exist in 2024 where medical research and data is readily available; not to mention my personal history with the drug itself. Her refusal to provide treatment seems negligent, ignoring both my medical history and the current research, and left me feeling abandoned by a provider I trusted. The impact of this denial has gone beyond just my physical symptoms; I’m a full-time student, a disabled veteran, and a mother of seven, so managing this condition on top of my responsibilities is overwhelming.Their duty is to do no harm, yet this provider did exactly that by denying me the treatment I needed. I take other medications that are typically “frowned upon” but have been approved by my maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist because the benefits outweigh the risks—I am the patient, and my immediate needs matter. Unfortunately, this urgent care visit was after hours, and I couldn’t reach my MFM specialist. I needed urgent relief after a rough day of constant vomiting and misery, but instead, I was met with a refusal that only prolongs my suffering. This experience has shattered my confidence in this provider’s commitment to patient care and safety.
Katie FNP kind , caring, and knowledgeable. Nancy front desk very kind and caring. Crystal great sense of humor helpful and excellent X-ray tech gentle. Crystal runs a great clinic. Thank you.
I called to say I was coming in. When I got there I was asked if I had an appointment. I said I had just called 15 minutes before and was told to come in. The rude receptionist said I could be seen in 3 hours. I asked if I could get a prescription there because I had a UTI and Miss Rudness said we are not an EMR. We left, went to the EMR a few blocks away and got taken care of immediately. Do not ever go to NextCare on Old Spanish Trail. The sign on the door says they take walkins but says nothing about having an appointment. I guess that means they will take a walk in to make an appointment for 3-4 hours later.
My experience was terrible! The girl did not know what she was doing! I went there for a sinus infection. A bad infection! I asked her does’nt yellow mean infection? She told me no. I was spitting up yellow. And blowing up yellow. Then she touched my forhead and asked if it hurt. It did not hurt. So she told me she could’nt give me antibiotics. Because my forhead didn’t hurt. I told her i need antibiotics. I get these quit often. She totally did not know what she was doing!! I know i needed antibiotics! So i left and went to Carbon Urgent care. Right away he told me i needed antibiotics. He said i have a bad infection. He prescribed strong antibiotics. She clearly did not know what she was doing! She should not be employed there!!!!!
Online appointments are a joke. Waited 45 minutes for a 5 minute talk with Dr. Didnt call in script until I hunted them down the next day. Rate 1 out of 10.
The medical staff were very nice. Katie Perona was vigilant about getting my acute situation under control.
I cannot express enough how rude these women are from the moment you walk in. What’s ironic are the sheer amount of signs saying they won’t tolerate aggressive behavior yet they’re the only ones who are aggressive? I’m waiting for a simple throat swab post telehealth appointment and they’ve taken everyone before me, stating they only have one person who can do throat swabs, “and she’s on break right now.” Absolutely HILARIOUS visit to urgent care, NextCare you have to do better at hiring! Anyone can type and print but bedside manner matters, which apparently can’t be taught or learned.
From the front desk to the CNA & NP everyone was kind friendly and compassionate. Received great care in a timely manner.
11.6.24Second visit in the last week and a half for the same persistent problem. Walked out withy breathing much improved along with rx for cough medicine, nebulizer meds, and a Rx for short term steroids and a nebulizer. Also got a steroid shot as well as a breathing treatment, truly a relief. The staff is great and compassionate and friendly. Highly recommend them.1st visit:Service was fast and efficient
Every person I came in contact with was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and it was a pleasure to be a customer that night.Thank you all! Well done!
Extremely educated and polite staff. My medical needs were heard and understood, and the proper treatment was provided to me with no hesitation. Thank you, NextCare
Great service! Got right in and doctor and staff was super helpful! Front desk was really nice and understanding! Recommend to anyone if needed
I have no idea why I wouldnt let me do that while I was still at home so I can make an appointment but that was my main issue. But once I got there got checked in, which was fairly quick. Though it would have been faster if the solv app actually work like it was supposed to. I was in and out of there within half an hour and I had to have an x-ray done turns out I did fracture my toe which is why I went in to to see if I had broken it or if it was just a bad stub because I did slam it into a curb pretty hard, when I was taking the trash out. Yeah my genius self decided to be good idea to take the trash out in only socks. And I feel even more stupid considering the curb is painted bright yellow. But this place was great very fast very efficient staff was friendly caring and I would definitely recommend if you need non-emergency care to go here. Plus it seems to be one of the very few NextCares with a x-ray technician thats there until 10:00 p.m. whereas most of the other NextCares their X-ray technician leaves at 3:00 p.m. But I did not find out that my toe was fractured until the next day, Im guessing this is probably because I showed up so late 9:00 p.m. and the x-ray technician didnt have time to actually look at it before they had to leave. I know some of these places are very strict about hours and some of the employees could not work overtime at all. My other complaint about this place is they did not give me anything for pain not even Ibuprofen so Im still limping around in pain with a fractured toe. I dont even have a crutch to help keep my Weight off that foot. So the two stars they lost was because they didnt give anything for the pain, they didnt even give me a crutch and I had to wait until the next day to find out that my toe was fractured. Was going in for a follow up on a workmans comp injury, but the 3pm visit didnt show up on my NextCare app. so I just scheduled one for later that day, so apparently there is a issue with solv and NextCare apps communicating with each other.
Im glad they are open on the weekend but it was a long wait. 2 hours. Thanks covid.
Went in for an allergic reaction, was worried about my kids throat closing. Doctor walked in looked at my kid and said, “Benadryl and have a good night.”The doctor (PA) didn’t look at her throat, listen to her lungs or heart. Highly disappointing for $232.00.
Did a walk in appointment. Got seen relatively quickly; was there about an hour and 15 minutes in total. All of the staff was friendly. The NP I saw was so sweet, she gave me a couple popsicles for my very sore throat (strep, ugh)!
Loved the physician who did our sports physical evaluation. She was from another location in Oro valley covering a shift, and was wonderful. Talked to my child about concerns related to his age group like a mother and was an outside opinion building on what I, as his mother, have been trying to express to him. Wish I remembered her name. Would follow her to any location.
I made an appointment and it was so easy. Front desk customer service was excellent. He got me all checked in and was so pleasant. Saw a NP and she was understanding to my concerns. Gave me what I needed to solve my problems. Thank you
Ive had ongoing issue with my right shoulder. My primary care doctor suggested physical therapy. Stating it was inflammation. I hurt it again requiring a visit to Urgent Care. Their x-ray discovered a bone fragment. Was given a CD copy of my exrays and information for an orthopedic office. Thank you! Ill finally get this problem resolved.
Staff treated me and my family like VIPs.I can’t complain about the wait time, I did arrive late. The price I paid was what I was told before handing my kiddo.I would and have recommended this facility.
Friendly staff appointment was on time and we were treated and out the door in an 1 and 15 minutes. On-site x rays were very helpful.
The FNP was helpful with her diagnosis and additional steps for further diagnosis. However, the prescription order was sent to the wrong pharmacy after I explicitly voiced to the FNP and the employee behind the counter where I needed it to go. As it sits now, the following night, it is still sitting at the wrong pharmacy and I wont be able to get it until tomorrow at a pharma further away than the one I wanted it to go. This is defiance to its lowest level. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Just another example of what our healthcare system has evolved into.
Sucked! Made an appointment. For a suspected broken finger and when I arrived they said there wasn’t anymore x -rays for the day and would have to send me to another location. Would have been nice to know in the afternoon. So unprofessional and inconsiderate.
Staff was great and the attending Physician we had was AMAZING.Would highly recommend and difently return.
Easy and Convenient check in process. Friendly and organized staff. Very clean establishment. Doctors are very concerning and were attentive to my sickness. I knew I was in good hands. They hired an excellent team for the front office MAs. I dont go to any other Urgent care for this very reason.
I scheduled a sports physical for my daughter at 1:00 pm and arrive 10 minutes before our appointment. She didn’t get seen by the nurse practitioner until 2:20 and the appointment lasted 5 minutes. I understand that sometimes long waits can not be avoided but this tends to always happen at this specific NextCare.
Personal care was very good. Wait room time was 55 minutes. Otherwise a good experience..
Absolutely a scam and waste of time. I had an accidental injury, split my earlobe. They took my insurance, my copay, to only tell me We cannot help you because it is a liabilty. The Doctor spoke broken English. Told me to go to an Emergency room. Said they would be filing an insurance claim (for doing absolutely nothing) but they did not realize I will fight that scam to the end. I went to the ER and within 1.5 hours was sewed up and done. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
I have never used an Urgent Care but I was pleased that it was an easy check in and pleasant staff. They took me back as soon as I finished my check in and the nurse and Dr were great. There wasnt a lot they could do but I was concerned I might have a foreign body causing me great pain on my big toe, and had not healed over quite a bit of time. She gave me an antibiotic script and eased my mind that it wasnt more serious. I would recommend, especially if the other choice is going to an emergency room!
Fast, courteous, efficient care. I was in and out with a Rx for a simple ailment in 30 mins. I would utilize them again!
The nurse was great however the skinny girl behind the counter ruined the entire experience. Not only did I specifically ask that my prescription be sent to Walgreens at Kolb and Golf Links, three times and have paperwork to prove it, she filled the script at Grant and Swan which is way out of my way. Additionally she couldnt seem to process my HSA payment card because she claimed it was declined. Also not true and my bank has no record of the charge they attempted to process. Thats fine send me a freaking bill! Because Im almost going to bet that they didnt file it with insurance either! The girl is completely incompetent!
Everyone at this clinic was so friendly! Especially the nurse practitioner, Jennifer and her helper whose name I can’t remember starts with a R, sorry I can’t remember but they were amazing! The nurse who took my vitals and got the solution to soak my fingers in was just as amazing!! I can’t say enough good things about how they made me feel so relaxed and comfortable! Ladies, I have so much respect for you all!!!!
Very positive experience. Dr. Stempel was attentive, considerate and took care of my health care needs. Thank you so much. All the staff are the best.
I was highly satisfied with my care and diagnosis. An area that I saw in need of improvement or staff spoken too, was at the front desk. The woman was pretty cold, as if everyone was bothering her. I had to wait 15 minutes to make sure I didn’t have a reaction to a shot, then I went up front and was told I needed to wait for discharge paperwork. After an additional 20 minutes (while feeling bad) I asked the lady and she turned around and got paperwork that had been sitting there in the tray already and she handed me a sheet of paper with details of male and female anatomy pictures to help understand UTI’s. That was it, not one piece of personal info on my visit, discharge or treatment, I just waited 20 minutes for anamoty. Otherwise, top notch care by techs, nurses, and doctors, I appreciate your care and trust you all.
My daughter woke up sick for the second day and Jessie Jesus was so kind and considerate to her. It made me feel at ease like he truly qcared!!! He truly is the best at his art!!
Great care. Jessica Repolda is really knowledgeable professional. She asked right away if my tonsils been removed already. And she diagnosed and prescribed a number of nasal sprays and rinses for my sinus problem. Six stars out of five!
Unfortunately the urgent care isn’t open at 10:00 however the website stated it was open till midnight along with the sign.
I did not feel good at all. They got me in quickly, hardly any wait. The techs and the Dr were all very nice and very thorough. Everyone was very understanding and made sure I understood everything as well. Thank you for taking good care of me!
Had a really bad sore throat for 2 days. I was able to schedule an appointment late at night. However, when I online checked in I never received a response. I had to go up to the reception desk & let her know again I checked in online. She then said, ok I checked you in. After that, everything went smoothly. Friendly staff, triage Josh was nice, then the PA stepped in & saw me. All took an hour. Thank you Urgent Care. 😊
We arrived 15 minutes before our appointment time. They called us back within 20 minutes of arriving. They did my so/ vitals and then took us to the exam room. We waited for the nurse practitioner almost an hour. There wasn’t anyone else there. I have things to do and don’t have time to wait an hour. I could hear the workers including the nurse practitioner just laughing it up and having a ball while we waited and waited and waited some more. I will never go to this location again.
The NP did nothing for my symptoms and I was told to come back in 5 days even though I have been miserable for two weeks and I’m pregnant. So I called my OB and they were able to prescribe me medication and said it was ridiculous that they wouldn’t treat me.
They were awesome. I was so sick. Had an appointment and done with enough time to get prescription before they closed
I called NextCare requesting an appointment for specified testing(I told the scheduler the name of the test I wanted). They asked if I was showing symptoms and I said no but my girlfriend just tested positive so I want to make sure Im not as well. They gave me an appointment, when I went into the office to have the test done, they told me they wont do that test unless theirs an outbreak or Im showing symptoms. Even after my protesting they still said they would not test me. Then they tried to charge me $60 for the appointment. At this point Ive refused to pay them. They did an internal investigation into the matter and claimed that I received medical advice therefore I should pay them the $60. Giving people appointments for a test and then not administering the test because certain criteria are not met is not medical advice, that is an internal policy and one not communicated to the appointment scheduler OR deliberately ignored. Please help me with this situation. NextCare now ignores my calls to attempt to resolve this situation, Ive now resorted to this and reporting them to the appropriate government agencies. Please be careful, youve been warned.EDIT: I tried calling the clinic manager who responded and never got a call back. This place is trash. Be careful.2nd Edit: The owner is lying, Ive never received a call from this person. Ive even reached out to them 3 times. Now theyve sent me to collections. These people are scammers, save your money or go to a real medical center.Good luck.
I have visited this location on several occasions and have consistently had positive experiences. The staff is courteous and professional, and the wait times are reasonable. Typically, I spend 5-10 minutes in the lobby and 20-30 minutes with the doctor. The process is efficient and streamlined, allowing for quick and convenient visits.
Staff was wondeful! They saw me as quickly as they could. They were efficient at giving me a diagnosis and gave me medication to help and they also gave good instructions on follow up care.
Cut the top of my finger wide open with a razor blade. Showed up around 11:30pm and was still seen and got my finger stitched up. All the staff was super nice and didnt make me feel like it was an inconvenience that they were there until almost 1am treating me. Highly recommend NextCare for anyone needing fast and proper treatment and thank the nurses and doctors that stitched my finger up for doing a thorough job with my injury.
The staff was very sympathetic and understanding. I really appreciate how they cared for me.
All went great, they saw something that they couldn’t take care of but made sure that I got the right medical attention. Great job thank for your awareness
This is my go to urgent care. Scheduling is always easy and even if I have to do a walk in with no appointment the wait times are usually shorter than other places. The staff is amazing, great with adults and kids anytime of day or night.
I had 2 days without sleep because i had a very bad cold with a fever and a headache and the medication from a counter didn’t work so a went and i wait 3 hrs and they did the flu test i was negative and they told me they can’t give me nothing for my headache they told me go to Walgreens and buy something for migraine so if your thinking to stop by in this urgent care don’t do it you’re going to waist your time
I spent over an hour in the room.. technical difficulties but no checking in or making sure I was ok.When they did come in it was an OK visit.
They were great fast and friendly Im letting everyone I know you need urgent care go there!
Went for HS physicals. The staff was great and everyone was very friendly. My only complaint would be that I had made appointments for 11:00, 11:15 and 11:30 and we were not even called back until 11:45.
Ran a COVID test which was positive.Besides that I had to go to our local hospital emergency dept to get any real help that I was expecting.
Everyone was great! I was in town visiting and I needed stitches removed from my finger. They made it an almost pleasant experience ha ha - As pleasant as it can be getting 10 stitches, pulled out of your finger. Would definitely go back there again again!
Old Spanish Tr/Harrison team very helpful. Just waiting to get into TOI for the Ortho referral due to holiday closures. Thanks!
Front desk ladies were great. Shelby my NP was amazing. Thank you for the speedy assistance.
Everyone was polite and professional from the front office staff all the way to the back. Jesus the medical assistant has a very nice bedside manner and did an awesome job with my TB test. Thank you!
Personal and service was excellent! No take 2 aspirin and call in the morning! They had me take several test and an xray. 30 min and they had results. I highly recommend these well qualified staff, Drs, etc!Jerry
Made an appointment waited past that time to be seen. Got seen and then waited half an hour for paperwork that could have been sent in the app or online.
The experience was made by the amazing nurse, but I forgot his name unfortunately. He had an angelic touch; I didnt notice the needle going in at all. He was also very kind and informative, keeping me engaged during the visit.I was also able to show up early and get seen 30+ minutes early, which was so very appreciated!
The overall visit went well however theres room for improvement. I scheduled an appointment for 2:00pm and didn’t get seen until 4:30pm. After speaking with the front desk, there was only one provider available (understandable). But, I wouldn’t recommend having people make appointments if you can’t meet with them around that time. I did however end up going home and receiving a call once a room was available but I wasn’t told this was an option until I was there for about an hour and a half and threw in the towel telling them I was leaving. The staff and doctors were very nice and helpful though!
Went in due to positive covid results. Everyone was super nice, from the receptionist, to the person who took my Vitals, to the doctor. Everyone was very helpful. Thank you!!
Walked in with my sick daughter and had a smooth, quick check-in. Everyone was nice and helpful.
Awful experience, a 3 hr wait before talking to a doctor for a sceduled appointment. Doctor Silvia Schafer had a major attitude problem and talked down to me like I was a child trying to get out of school when I went in for a workplace assault. The front desk lady and guy with tattoos were great though.
I went into urgent care 6/1 with a burned I lid the office was nice the ma was excellent but as for the the doc on site. She doesnt even belong in medical. She has no bed side manner. It was like I was annoying to her. She abruptly pressed down on my eyelid which had a burn on it and hurt tremendously and then told me Im not dealing with this Im sending you to the ER. Come to find out it was not as bad as the doctor made it sound to me it was superficial burn and my eye was not damaged she just didnt want to take the time to look at it maybe shell have a better day tomorrow.
My neck/lymph node was swollen on the right side and I could not schedule an appt with my PCP. I went online with NextCare on Old Spanish Trail and scheduled a same-day appt. From the moment I walked in, I felt a very comfortable ambience in the lobby and the interactions with both the Receptionist and the Medical Assistant were exceptional. The Nurse Practitioner was very detailed and thorough, and I felt that she was truly empathetic regarding my concerns. If and when I have any future medical issues which I feel need to be addressed immediately, I will make an appt with NextCare on Old Spanish Trail. You guys rock!
Doctor was really great. No waiting. Front desk reception woman seemed irritated and annoyed. It’s. It isn’t normally like that in there in this clinic.
The front desk girl refused to spell my sons hispanic name correctly and told me it wont matter. They refused to see us because they could not find his insurance in the system... well name spelling is usually crucial. We are now on our way to the ER an hour later because they are either heartless or racist at this front desk. Just get his info right... its so simple. A 2 year old with an ear infection does not deserve to be exposed to such hatred and bias.
Was there almost 3 hours. 2 other people came in and 1 was being seen but that was all that got care in that time frame. My 8 year old cried for an hour in the lobby and in the room for them to check his ear. Then went to give him ibuprofen for the pain took 30 minutes. I could have been home in 10 and given him some myself. Front office woman told us Dr was in a procedure when we walked in. Didn’t think much of it at the time and said ok. She played on her phone most of the time. When I came out of the room to ask how much longer, was told practitioner was in a procedure by the MA, he however was the nicest person working in the facility but the practitioner was sitting at the desk.
The provider was great. He listened to my concern of sore throat
I will never go to this urgent care again. I work in health care and the unprofessionalism and rudeness is insane. This clinic should be shut down.
Very disappointing!! The nurse ( nurse practitioner if that actually means they know more or have the ability to prescribe as a doctor might) spent less than 5 minutes listening to my detailed 3 month history of treatment for my now very painful back ailment. I WAS NOT SEEKING NARCOTICS just in case you thought this is where I’m heading.I was prescribed a sub therapeutic dose of Prednisone for 5 days- 5 tablets! I have taken this in the past from other prescribers at doses that actually worked. I was also prescribed a mild muscle relaxant for 3 days. They charged me $267 and told me to go follow up with my primary care doctor!5 mins, $267 to get a prescription of Prednisone that would be more appropriately used to treat a rash that hasn’t responded to a topical Hudrocortisone cream!!
This Old Spanish Trail and Harrison in Tucson location is my preferred Urgent Care provider. Ive been using this location for at least a decade; maybe longer.I sometimes, schedule my appointments in the middle of the night when theyre still closed and I can sit in my car upon arrival and check-in using my phone.Staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Center accepts my insurance and HSA card for payments. Facility is always clean and wait times are minimal. They have a lab and x-ray capabilites on site too. I highly recommend this location.
Dr. Minchler was great to receive care from. He is knowledgeable and has great bedside manner.
4 stars because the staff members were all amazing at my morning visit today. Front desk, nurse, xray tech. ….But the PAC was terrible. Rude and insensitive , borderline disrespectful and short in conversation. Had my 10 year old not have been with me , I would have likely called her out. She lacks empathy and I would never want to be in the same room with her again. I mentioned it to some staff and they agreed. It takes a lot to make me uncomfortable. Would never go in again on a day she’s there.
They were very professional and helped me with my issue I was having. Very helpful and knowledgeable
We would like to say that we have been going to this Urgent Care for years now. Old Spanish Trail Urgent Care has always been our favorite when we need this care as opposed to our primary medical team. It has always been warm, carrying and very friendly. However, this time the front desk staff for our visit on Feb. 11th at 6 pm was not as welcoming and friendly as we usually have. While we were there two of your employees were chatting and a patient came in they did not stop chatting to help, the couple left, to get assistance somewhere else, it did not seem to bother them at all. In my opinion, as I to work in the helping field, we are to care for our members/patients first before personal time. On a positive note, I did want to complement the NP who took very good care of our daughter. She was very kind and attentive to our daughters needs. She made the exam simple and non stressful for our 3 year old. I want to Thank her very much!!
I honestly felt pretty dismissed and regretted going... it was money I didnt have to begin with and I dont know that I really feel much better as far as understanding what is wrong with me. Now I feel unwell but also upset for spending the time and money.... UPDATE: I just saw that a service I was told if I go in and sign this cancellation form would be cancelled charge my account. I went in signed the papers and was told to my face it would be sent where it needed to be and cancelled. This was maybe 2 months ago. What God awful patient service. I couldnt be paid to return to a NextCare and will strongly advise anyone around me to go anywhere else.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Only disappointment was that a copy of xrays were not burned for me to take to ortho clinic I had been referred to. I ended up having to get a 2nd set of xrays in order to be treated, which will likely not be covered by insurance.
I like that Im able to see a Dr or NP for health issues. That Im able to make appointments early as 3 a.m. The staffing are wonderful and great front and back office. Its very clean and bathrooms, too. Didnt wait long to be seen. I love there signs about no tolerance on bad behavior and foul language nor threats.
Everbody is very nice and helpful. Wait is not too bad at all .Doctor was very nice and informative.
Very pleased from start to finish. Jennifer was excellent. Thank you.
I had an appt at 1:30 I was seen at 2:45. Patients walked in after me and were seen before me. I was happy with the PA. I will go else where next time.
The visit felt very rushed and uncaring. I had maybe 2 minutes with the doctor, was quickly prescribed a medication, and asking how many days I want to be excused from work, initially presuming id be fine in a day with meds. Backstory: I had a severe sinus infection from a cold that began 2 weeks ago. Waited between this room, to that room, to the front again maybe an hour and a half. The ratio of waiting to getting a doctors time is so sad. My payment using Aetna insurance went up to over $200 from $100. Heard this doubling in price applies to Aetna and United insurance members, not sure where others stand. Were probably getting pushed out of urgent care to use telehealth. Ill be using telehealth next time I need a doctors prescription and advice in urgent circumstances, same service of get you in get you out for half the price. The front desk agent did the best she could under the circumstances, tons of patients to process and just her.
The male nurse was very nice what I didnt like is that nothing was done for my mom. They didnt even get an xray to rule out pneumonia. I chose this urgent care because it had 4.6 rating however am very disappointed nothing was done no medication to treat her and what is worse the diagnose that she wrote we came for is not even close to what we explain to the doc and nurse
They have ZERO sense of urgency. You will sit and wait hours before they will do anything. They don’t communicate what is going on while you are waiting.
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Very friendly, compassionate efficient and all around awesome. I did have an appointment either and was seen very quickly.
Service is always great, however I feel that cleanliness should be a lot better. I feel that hospitals or urgent cares should be clean already however we are in the middle of a pandemic and should be more clean than usual.
5-19-23My son has pink eye, we went at 6:40pm & was seen pretty fast. The doctor, she was the best. The nicest people in this place.
Love the staff was seen in a good timely manner love the fact open to midnight cant go wrong nice clean office and staff also well put together would recommend and continue service always thank you and great job next care staff
I was taken to on time. The staff was courteous and professional. The diagnosis was proper and swift. Now I am well on my way to recovery.
I hate going to get medical treatment! I do everything in my power to take care of myself and only seek treatment when I cannot succeed. Today, I went in for pneumonia, it has been a regular accurance every few years for me. I could barely function today, and made an appointment, took a shower, coughed up a bit before the appointment. In the appointment, I was told that I was fine, and treated as if nothing was wrong. I know my body, this is not the first time this illness has happened to me. Absolutely LOVE being told Im fine when my entire body is hurting and feels like its falling!Very disappointed in this visit! Ive been coming to this location for years, now I may be finding a new place for my family.
I was at this urgent care for over two hours. They had to do 3 tests that they said only took 10 min for the results. I could hear the employees laughing, fooling around, not working. They eventually said there was nothing wrong with me and discharged me. Today I went to the ER since I was still feeling sick and I was diagnosed and given the proper medication for what I did have. I am beyond disappointed with their service.
The people here are always friendly and helpful. A great clinic to get help.
The only complaint I have is the wait even with an appt. The staff were great and the NP that saw me was excellent!
My 4 year old has a cough keeping her up all night. We can in 15 minutes before close & I know that sucks for the people working but they were all still kind & caring. Happy to start treatment to get my little one sleeping great at night again. A sleep deprived kid makes for a rough day lol Thanks guys!
I scheduled a video visit because I felt literally so sick that just getting dressed and getting there for an office visit would take more energy than I had.So after waiting 20 minutes for someone to come on I was greeted by a physician who right from the start was cold and almost rude. I began to explain I was on the last leg of Covid but felt now that I was developing a sinus infection and had a very painful uncontrollable cough that had just started during the night. I was pretty much cut off when I asked if there was anything that could be prescribed for me to alleviate getting worse or to provide some relief because I was almost desperate at that point. I then was told that there was nothing to be done it had to run its course. Conversation was pretty much shut down after that. Video visit itself took all of 2 or 3 minutes after waiting on hold over 20.I spent the rest of the day and night progressively getting worse only to end up in the hospital with pneumonia, ear infection and yes a sinus infection! All of which needed an antibiotic. An antibiotic that I had been told previously on the video visit would do nothing for me.My family and I have visited this urgent care location for years and have always had nothing but good experiences until now. I was on the fence about leaving this review, but I couldnt help think about how dismissive and rushed the physician was. To be treated as though you are putting someone out or perhaps exaggerating your symptoms and pain and talked down to as though you know nothing of how you feel or what youre experiencing by someone who is already unfriendly and seemingly annoyed from the start is demoralizing. I can honestly say that I was the sickest I had ever felt and then dealing with that made things even worse. Next time I know where not to go.I wish there was an option for zero stars.
The discharge instructions said to buy some medicine to use instead off something I had used twice since this started. I just wish they would listen better. It seemed like she didnt read the assistants notes. I had to call them the following day because she never called in the antibiotic to my pharmacy. I usually have a much better experience there. I never want to see that NP again.
Great service didnt have to wait as long as I thought.
Had an appointment at 2pm on a Sunday. I showed up at 1:45pm and didn’t get called in until 3pm. We finished up our appointment at 4pm, by then all the local pharmacies had closed. They didn’t provide us with any doses of take-home medication to help my child sleep through the night with his ear infection (which is the main reason we showed up). We would have been better off not utilizing this urgent care and just waiting until we had a chance to see our provider Monday morning. In short, showed up to the urgent care for my son on a Sunday. Stayed for two hours (1 hour just waiting to be called for my appointment) and received nothing to help ease my son through the night.
The provider and the staff were so kind. They took excellent care of me.
Brought my son in for a sports physical. The doctor was very thorough and had great bedside manner.
Had to wait a while before I was checked by a doctor. Everyone there was very professional and courteous.
They were very nice and helpful. I would go back for sure.
It was a bit of a long visit but not their fault. I had to wait for xrays to be read and not in their control. Back office nurses, x ray tech, and doc were fabulous! Front office looked like it has been a long day and my apt was late, but Im sure they are amazing as well when not so stressed on a busy day. 🙂 Happy Holidays to all. Blessings.
Great care received, but a much longer wait than I have ever experienced in the past. 3 hours total.
They were late opening up with some issues. Wouldn’t let us inside. Waited 15 minutes. Once inside things progressed well. Doctor was quick with diagnosis. Good visit overall.
Great experience as usual. Friendly staff and the PA knew what she was talking about and got exactly what I needed. Ty
Service from staff was fantastic but don’t even bother with appointments. Just wait until a later time in the evening and come in as a walk-in. Had an appointment for 1:30 and wasn’t brought back until around 2:15. Was assessed and brought back into a room to wait another 45 minutes to be seen then was seen for about 5-10 minutes and waited for paperwork for another 15. Again, staff and Dr were fantastic, but do not waste your time with an appointment.
The staff seemed a little uninterested in conversating about anything I tried to joke around with the lady at the front desk as I was having difficulty in giving a good number for them to send to paperwork through to and she just grabbed the paper I wrote the number on and without saying a word went on about her business and then the nurse who walked me back just wasnt able to listen or focus or something seeing as I had to repeat myself multiple times in the 10 mins of interaction I had with her. The doctor on the other hand was polite and made me feel a lot less like I was a bother she was definitely the best as far as staff friendliness goes other then that they where quick and I was in and out in about an hour from check in to check out
I cam in around 8:30-9pm and was quickly checked in, and inside talking with a wonder MA named Natalie with 15 minutes. Over the span of an hour or so, I got the antibiotics I needed and was helped by a great staff. Will go here again if a problem arises
First time here! I usually go to carbon. I decided to give next care a chance. Kaydance at the front desk was amazing! She had great customer service and so much patience with all my questions.. she was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable about my first time experience! The front desk was very clean. The dr was also very nice! He even shook my hand at the end. Great experience overall! Will definitely recommend this location all my friends and family!
My experience with this facility was a positive one. I was in and out in a little over an hour. The woman that took care of me was awesome
Cassandra is wonderful! Staff are efficient and kind. They take great care of their patients!
Fast and great visit took care and gave good med instructions to get better
Was quick and easy to do a walk in. I have waited hours before but at this location, they are very kind & took me seriously. Gave me the doctors notes I had asked for. While also having good professionalism and respect.
Very happy with the service. Dr. Was great.
I think it is great that I was able to schedule an urgent care appointment and fill out paperwork online. It made the wait time minimal and less stressful when I was not feeling good. All team members were kind and helpful. The doctor I saw was able to get me the help I needed quickly. If I were ever to need urgent care again, I’d definitely come back to this location.
Was taken to room only a few minutes after scheduled appointment but then waited an hour before the nurse practitioner (not even a doctor) came in and talked for 10 minutes. Then waited over half an hour without seeing the NP but someone else came in and said papers were at the desk and my visit was done. NextCare: claiming appointments are kept on time only by making them wait in a treatment room for an hour is NOT the way to do business.
Overall, my visit to NextCare urgent care was a positive experience. The front desk young women, the woman who took my vitals, and FNP Stephanie Price, who saw me were all professional and caring. The medication prescribed to me were ready and awaiting at my preferred pharmacy right after my appointment. I highly recommend NextCare.
I was seen by Ericka. Not sure her credentials. I had recently been to 2 other doctors. She asked what they diagned me with. She didnt bother to see if there was something else they made had missed. She just checked my lungs. I didnt feel like I was really treated. She spend like Maybe 8 mins with me she was also talking over me and would not listen or let me finish my sentence
Went in due to watery eyes. Arrived at 9:05am for my 9:15am appointment, wasnt seen until 9:45am, when my vitals were taken. After my vitals, I was asked to go back to the waiting room and waited another 30 mins to be called back to an exam room. Once in the exam room, I waited close to 30 mins for the FPN to come in. After the exam, I had to wait 20 mins to pay so I could leave. Was finally discharged at 10:50am.Staff was all very friendly and professional, but appointments sold be more spaced out to prevent backup.
Scheduled an appointment for 10 o’clock checked in at 9:40 did not get us back into a room until 10 and now I’ve been sitting in the room for an hour. What’s the point of making an appointment when they will see walk-in patients before you this urgent care, used to be amazing now, it doesn’t seem like they care about about your appointments time Dr can in at 11:25 and spend less then 5min with you Next time I’ll pay the extra money and just go to Carbon health Urgent care
I have visited NextCare locations several times in the past 2 years. NextCare has made steady improvements to its online scheduling process. Everything now works very smoothly. As always I found the NextCare staff from receptionist through provider to be very helpful, friendly and professional.
The staff was helpful and friendly. We booked our appt on line and was seen at the time they stated.
Very good patient care knowledge and made me feel confident to return to this specific location
Excellent, fast service. Paperwork easily completed on line and seen by the doctor before scheduled appointment time. Doctor assessed, sent prescription and wrote work excuse.
I was able to get an appointment early. A short wait. The Doctor was wonderful. I have used Nextcare before and have always been satisfied.
Staff were very nice, however I tried to go in the night before my appointment as a walk-in, as their website states they take walk-ins until the close of business hours. They turned me away, stating they don’t take walk-ins after 8pm. Maybe change your website then???Then, they told me nothing was wrong and sent me on my way with over-the-counter solutions so my problem. Well I went to MinuteClinic the next morning after I went to UrgentCare and was diagnosed with an ear infection and sinus infection and sent home with antibiotics. So UrgentCare charged me 75$ for no results, when in fact they had missed two separate infections that I needed treatment for.I will not be coming back to this UrgentCare.
Got seen quickly. The doctor and staff were thorough and quick so I didnt spend much time waiting for a diagnosis. The doctor even noticed a sty I had in my eye that and got that taken care of too.
1st know I would normally go to my own Dr but she didnt have any appointments that day.I will never go there again and I would tell everyone to avoid Nextcare Urgent Care on Old Spanish Trail not to go. I went because I had a cough and was instructed by the attending nurse practitioner or doctor she never introduced herself that I should get off all my medications stop all dairy, stop spicy foods, alcohol and went down a whole list, made all these suggestions without even testing me for anything. Then proceeded to tear apart Arizona saying everything here is backwards. She insisted my only issue was that I am extremely dry because of Arizona and that I suffer from massive inflammation due to all the bad things that are in Foods today. Not that I dont think the chemicals in foods are bad on you dont tell a person to just drop everything and expect them to do this with no testing no nothing. Also, the main reason I was there, she gave me nothing for it. I am a symtomic asthmatic due to being a 911 survivor and anytime I have the beginnings of a cold I have to treat it ASAP or my lungs get bad.
3 min doc visit, $180 copay, and they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. I would not go back to this place.
I’ve been to this location twice now, and they’re always so great! Super fast check in and so nice. I will forever go here while I’m in the area lol. HIGHLY recommend!
Fast & great service 👍🏽We were in and out and my son didnt need stitches. Doc glued his finger and we were good to go. No more trying to cut frozen burger patties. Lol
I made an online appointment but had to go out and was near NextCare so I stopped in just to see how long of a wait a walk-in was. They took me in right away. I have been seen at this clinic several times in the past and received great care. At today’s visit, Jennifer Ross FNP asked the right questions and prepared the appropriate care plan. The front office staff was quick, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend this NextCare clinic.
Great experience. Was a walk in after being referred by Military Nurse Advice Line, had a brief wait but was way quicker than any other walk in clinic I’ve visited. Clean environment, helpful staff and overall would go back.
The tech that did the initial assessment and vitals was very kind and made me feel calm and safe. She seemed to listen and be compassionate and understanding. The provider got me what I needed without using up time.
Very thorough, professional, caring, and knowledgable. I always come here for my quick needs.
I arrived, was greeted and given paperwork quickly. The staff was so friendly, sweet and welcoming. I was instantly comfortable. They informed me of every step and my wait was not too long thankfully. Paperwork is super easy with their online access. Makes things go faster. I also love the fact that you can watch your live waitlist, you always know your spot. Doctor Straw was awesome and his medical assistant as well. Great experience even though I’m sick. I left very pleased with the service and care I received.
This was a repeat visit, all past visits were better. But today, after waiting over 3 hours, the “doctor” who saw my child said that she thought he had strep throat, but refused to swab him for strep throat. They only did a swab for Covid and flu, and admittedly said they should have done a strep test too, but didn’t want to do their only job….They said my child was severely dehydrated and sent us to the emergency room, claiming he needed an IV. After only one hour at the pediatric ER, his strep test came back positive, they DID NOT NEED TO GIVE HIM AN IV AT ALL. He wasn’t dehydrated. He needed nausea meds and a strep swab, BOTH OF WHICH ARE SUPPOSEDLY OFFERED AT NEXTCARE. But not today! Today they’re peddling lies and wasted time only.So not only did the NextCare doctor refuse to treat my sick child, she also wasted more time of ours by sending us elsewhere for treatment that wasn’t even required, for a diagnosis she could have done herself. Adding a second bill to my wallet. These “doctors” will literally send you somewhere else just to avoid doing their job. Will absolutely not be going back to this NextCare. Highly recommend the ER over this joke.
Came in wanting to give benefit of the doubt.Walked out thinking other reviews right, desk lady got bad vibes
Was told my prescriptions could be sent to a specific place. That was wrong. So because of that my medication was cancelled and I was told It couldnt be re-prescribed.
Took my son as a walk-in for a sports physical, everything went quickly for being a walk in. Receptionist and the rest of the staff and FNP were super nice.
A very positive experience. Office staff and medical personnel were competent and friendly. My nurse practitioner was very pleasant and personable, explained everything, and she did a great job on my finger. Thank you!
Exceptional experience at this urgent care location! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and efficient. Our needs were promptly addressed, and the care we received was top-notch. Highly recommend!
Would give zero stars if possible. Don’t Go Here.Worst experience I’ve had to date at a next care. The doctor was rude, presumptive, had no bedside manner. She imposed her beliefs on my care and after care. Not providing me the same care she would anyone else as I am a breastfeeding mother. She was unable to help me in any manner In the two hours I was there aside from a steroid. Which, is the only aspect of yesterday’s ordeal I’m grateful for, yet would have received anywhere with much better service. Two hours of my time were spent to be told she would not drain my massive cyst that had been causing me excruciating pain, I had been there just two days prior, and was told to return when it became larger and closer to the surface, which I did, but was turned away for a second time without any care to my treatment. She also called one of my doctors (which would seem against protocol) simply because she was not trusting me at my word due to an office error not having my correct file. When she spoke to said doctor and got off the phone, she then made false promises on behalf of another provider to me about being seen right away, which, when I had called the office after leaving Next Care, they had no record of her call, and we’re not able to book me until two weeks later. Gross negligence of care. I know it was a misunderstanding, but she misunderstood that I worked in dermatology due to me saying that I was working with a dermatologist for treatment.Brazenly and very rudely told me that I knew exactly what I needed to be taking and exactly what I needed to be doing when in reality I have no darn clue. . . Almost as if to shove in my face I wasn’t good at my job. But jokes on her that’s not my job and you showed your true colors.I would never recommend this office or the practitioner Dr Sara Alder. She even had another representative come in, essentially to bully me into accepting that they would not be treating me. After doing so they tried to pawn me off on the dermatologists that I already frequent who sent me to a NextCare to begin with as there is nothing more than can do while I am breastfeeding. The manager Crystal is no better, she didn’t seem to want to see hear or validate any of my experience when approached with the issue.Sure I’ve had good experiences here but this last time was just THE WORST I will never be going there again and tell everyone I know to support elsewhere. What’s worse is I’ve gone here since it opened for many needs including having my cyst being drained 3 -5 separate times. Dr Sara Alder is a dermatologist herself, which she flaunts, no one better to excise my cyst than her, but she refused where many other providers before her, non-dermatologists, cared more for my relief in my treatment, and aided in my said relief.I was lucky to have a friend there to advocate for me when she started backpedaling on some of her statements. She also had put in my prescription to be picked up in correctly so I had to wait over 12 hours to have it corrected and sent to the correct pharmacy all due to her incompetence. The pharmacist even told me that she should know better than to enter the dose she did. Which was a half dose I might add because I’m breastfeeding. Not her decision to make. She only sent me two days worth as well full knowing I’d not been seen for relief for over a week.Sure seems like her aim was to make me suffer not to help.
I scheduled an appointment for 11:00am. It is now 11:20a and I have yet to be seen. Not even told any reasoning or apology for having waited. I’m here sick on my lunch break. This is unacceptable.
