Express Urgent Care

Staff was very nice and I was seen promptly. I felt as though I was well attended to and that the resolution to the issue I went in for was satisfactory. I want to acknowledge Kayla in particular, who was incredibly sweet, kind and attentive. Should I need urgent care again this will be where I go!

We have been coming to Express Urgent Care since they opened. The professional & courteous staff always do a fantastic job each time we need their services to put us on the path to recovery. Despite an abundance of patients today in particular, the staff was excellent about letting us know the delay up front & expeditiously getting us evaluated. We will be continuing to use this facility in the future.

Urgent Care is an awesome place to go to when in need! The staff there is wonderful! I was a new patient and they treated me like I was a patient for a long time. I appreciate their help, and thank them so much. I highly recommend them!

New patient I have never been there before,staff was caring and understanding, sat for only a few minutes before I was called back and the nurse that put me in the room took my vitals and listened to everything I had to say . The next person was a PA student from Marywood and he examined me and also listened to everything that I said and told me that Gavin PA , would be right in . Gavin arrives and introduces himself ,and listens to me also, he agrees with my concerns and orders my treatment. My entire time there was almost an hour and when I left I was satisfied with the care I received. I will not hesitate to return to this facility for care in the future if necessary.

My daughter visited this location on Wednesday January 8th the wait time was terrible she arrived about 1:30 didn’t get back in a room until 3:20. She wanted to be seen for a sinus infection she was sick for about 1week. She let me know they took 3 vials of blood. I asked her why and she found out that the bloodwork was done in error on her !!! WHAT ?????? My daughter asked why this was being done for a sinus infection and was told by the student that was in the room with her she didn’t know why it was ordered!!!! Back in October this place was treating me for a sinus infection and it ended up I had Covid and ended up in the hospital…. In addition to terrible wait times and blood being draw on the wrong patient her prescription was never called into the pharmacy I had to call to get it sent !!!! Personally we would not go back to this location EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Excellent! Professional, courteous and little wait time. I had a sprained foot. By the time I left they had given me an x ray and a proper support which made me feel confident and more comfortable.

The staff at Urgent Care did an excellent job paying attention to everyone that was there. They remained friendly and professional despite being very busy. Thank you

I’m very happy with the service!! You don’t have to wait too long and the doctor and staff are very friendly. I have been there twice and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Place seems to be pretty clean. But for future reference. Do not make any appointments. They dont matter. Its more first come first served basis. And also if you go on their website, they would ask you for your insurance information. But when you go into the office, you would have to pay out of pocket. Very misleading.

Fell and twisted foot last night. Got here around 12:40pm today. Had x-ray and consult with PA Lindsey. It was fractured. They gave me shoe and referral. Out by 1:50pm. Excellent service. Highly recommend. X-ray was read off-site by radiologist.

Daughter was not brought back for a strep swab until 45 minutes after our appointment time. Was told test would take 10-15 minutes. Fifty minutes later I asked how much longer as I had to pick my son up. Fifty five minutes later PA came in for exam and said she tested positive. I did tell her I had to leave asap (I had now been there nearly two hours) and asked if prescription could be sent to Main Street location as the initial pharmacy I told them I used at Target was now closed. She said that was no problem. I apologized if I came off as rude. It had been an unexpectedly long wait, my daughter was ill and I had other obligations (hence the 5:00 appointment to be done on time.) When checking out I asked again about prescription not going to Target location because they were closed. Receptionist called back and the PA replied that she was doing it now. Of course she sent the prescription to Target and the Main Street location was unable to fill it. My daughter must now wait until the morning to begin med and continue feeling ill. Unprofessional.

I walked in with a blocked ear. They took me in within a few minutes. The doctor was great. She unblocked my ear pretty quickly. The place was clean and neat. Everyone there was pleasant and helpful. Id go back.

Dr. Davis quickly and efficiently removed an embedded tick and rxd antibiotics. He explained everything clearly as far as what he was doing and what Id need to do for follow-up. I wish more doctors were as straightforward and quick and efficient as Dr. Davis. The other staff were kind and helpful.

Not happy, went here looking to have one knee like looked at. Was told there was no xray tech in. Id have to come back the next day. Why even open your doors if you cant provide service. I feel bad for the Nice people behind the counter having to tell patients this. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because Lady at counter was very nice, very apologetic. Situation is still is unacceptable. . .

Dr. Grippo (Nina) is phenomenal. I was experiencing a lot of fear over the swelling in my face and not only did she have great bed side manner that put me at ease, she gotme the diagnosis/treatment I needed and provided all the context and info very concisely. They are lucky to have her!

Went for a reoccurring what I thought allergic reaction around my eyes that I thought was allergic contact dermatitis that turned out to have just been eczema that got infected from me trying to treat it at home/picking at it.Everybody was extremely nice! It was my first time going to urgent care on my own and I didnt exactly know all my insurance information (or even have my card in my possession 😅) The lady at the front printed out my information for me and gave me some papers to fill out electronically, which was super quick and easy. I think I waited like 15, at the most 20, minutes and they called me back, I told them that it was my first time having been to any sort of doctors office in about 4 years and I was visibility very anxious but they were very reassuring that theyd help me out with my issue and they did! I talked to one nurse for a little over 5 minutes (she even brought me a box of tissues) and then she left. I sat for a few minutes waiting for the next nurse to come in, she did, asked me the same questions about the irritation around my eyes, told me it was infected eczema that would go away with the things she was gonna prescribe me. She sent my prescriptions over and I picked them up like 15 minutes after leaving and everything was great!Ive only been on the medications for 2 days but everything is already clearing up and I couldnt be happier!

My son needed x-rays for a foot injury. We were seen immediately and the level of care was phenomenal. The staff was friendly and helpful and they made my son feel comfortable. A+

The facility was clean and the staff were very professional and polite. Doctor took the time to explain information to me. Felt very comfortable on leaving.

Everyone was very hospitable, kind, and diligent in their work.They addressed the needs of the others around me, and myself, even the woman at the front desk, who recently had surgery herself! Thank the Lord for people trained in medical care.

Went to Express Urgent Care for an ear infection. Made and appointment and was in and out within 15 mins. I probably didnt need an appointment because only one other person was in the waiting room with me. Front desk nurses and PA were all so nice and friendly!

Dr. Choudhry and his staff are incredible. The check in process was seamless. The team are polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

While I understand its the season for illness and its busy, what I dont understand is the absolute dismissive healthcare. All I know is my daughter came home with just a diagnosis of some infection and a script in less than a 10 min visit which was all talk and really no physical exam...the healthcare system is severely broken!

The staff was excellent. Not sure of the name of the Doctor but he at least had a sense of humor along with his nurse Nina, while removing my stitches.

Unprofessional, front desk only asked for name for appointment, no DOB when it should be two types of identification to identify patient. Did not check vitals, only weight, when there for respiratory symptoms involved . Felt extremely shrugged off by the doctor about my concerns .

Excellent experience! Dr.Choudhry’s team was competent, well organized and professional. My wife and I were very pleased with the service we received.

Had something stuck in my eye all day and couldn’t get it out, but they did it in just few seconds. Staffs were very nice and professional.

I went in for an eye issue and was a bit nervous this being a small town urgent care facility.Everyone was very friendly and professional. I felt like a person, not a number. The receptionist and the nurse were helpful and very nice. The doctor answered all of my questions, like it is supposed to be. She called in the scrips and they were ready on time, not like at home where it can be hoursI am so glad that I chose to go to this urgent care than some other one

When I walked In the front desk lady asked what was wrong and I said I had a problem with my ear. She asked me what do you want us to do about it? I said maybe check it ? She looked at me with a strange face and asked again what I thought they can do? I again said Check it? I asked her is this a medical facility it was the most unprofessional treatment !The PA was wonderful her name was Lyndsey! The front desk person was very unprofessional!

Had to have sutures removed from my forehead . Nina was amazing and kind and gentle . Just what a patient needs under these circumstances . The medical assistant and cray tech were great . I felt comfortable .

This place was amazing. All the ladies were friendly and helpful. They all went out of their way to see that everything I needed was taken care of. I am very impressed.

Very efficient and nice people. Made me aware of how long the wait was going to be. Got me in and out of there as fast as possible.

Pleasant experience. All staff was professional and quick. Did the strep test, prescribed antibiotics, and gave me an answer as to why I was feeling crappy all week. Besides the strep test, did urine test and general exam to rule out other causes.

Fine to go to in a pinch, and ultimately got me the medication I needed, but Ill try another Urgent Care in the area for my needs next time. I went for a poison ivy rash that turned into an infection. Got asked the same questions three times: first by the woman who took me into the exam room, then the PA student, then the PA (even though I knew they talked to each other, as I could hear everything they were saying about me in the hallway with my door closed - so I assume other patients could too). The PA student obviously wasnt listening to me talk because as soon as I got done telling her what OTC ointments I had used, she asked if I had used any OTC ointments... It was frustrating to have to keep repeating myself. Even though I had told all three that I had been in touch with my PCP and was there that day seeing them because the condition had worsened and my PCP was out, the PA shamed me at the end for letting it get this bad when I expressed some frustration about having to start an antibiotic before vacation. I totally understand that the timing was not her fault, but I feel the way she spoke to me was unwarranted, and with the rest of the experience there, I left feeling frustrated.

Went in for a uti, got tested, taken care of, and out the door in 35 minutes. Absolutely kind and caring staff, never felt more comfortable with taking abt my problems as I did here, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!🫶🏻💗💕

Everyone was very friendly and attentive to my needs. I went with a female issue. Very embarrassing and they didnt judge. Very appreciative of that.

Whenever I come to Urgent Care I leave with good advice, care, and the medication I need. That is exactly why I continue to use Express Urgent Care.

I arrived at Urgent Care with a totally blocked left ear and partial blockage in the right. The staff was professional in every sense of the word. The doctors were kind, understanding, gentle and thorough. They explained the procedure beforehand and kept me updated of the progress. I can hear again thanks to the wonderful care I received. I had a sore throat and stopped in as a walk in. I was in and out with a prescription in about a half hour. The staff was very friendly. I would go back.

Always felt kinda sketchy about these places. I left feeling pretty good about this one. Very quick, friendly and professional. Did what they needed to do and did it well. It went much better than i anticipated. Wouldnt hesitate to use this urgent care again.

Made an appointment with CVS for a covid test, arrived to find out they dont do it and never updated their website. Express Urgent Care offered testing with no appointment necessary and I walked out with my results (unlike CVS). Recommend 100%.

I was treated for an illness just days before Christmas. The services were prompt and courteous.

The beautiful woman in the front with pink hair was amazing. She was very patient with my four year old daughter and got everything done so fast. I asked for her name but cant remember. She was so helpful . Doctor was great also. Def the best urgent care experience Ive had.

I went in for my DOT physical. All the staff were super nice and made me feel welcomed. It was not busy at all when I got there. It was only one patient. However, after the MA did the vitals and etc I sat in the patient room for 35 minutes before the doctor actually came to attend to me. Not sure why because it was not busy at all. My appointment was at 5:20pm I arrived at time of appointment and didn’t leave until 6:45pm. Other than that very friendly atmosphere and will visit any time in the future if need too.

I would give 5 stars but the waiting time is a bit longer. But the staff is awesome. They worry about you and take care of you at all time.

We love this place. We can never get into my children’s regular doctor when we need to. It’s always a hassle. Here you can make an appointment or walk in. Doctor Gavin is also great at treating my kids and also the nurses and office staff are super friendly.

All the staff were very helpful and very caring. The nurse took her time and listened to everything I had to say and was very helpful. Then the doctor was great as well. The doctor actually took it a step further just to make sure that my health was improving. Always great experience

Went in due to a general cold that wpuldnt break. Found out it was strep. Quick easy visit. People at reception were typical for urgent care scene. PA that checked me out seemed to be decent. Discussed treatment options and acknowledged all of my concerns genuinely. Patient rooms need some updating, nothing crazy some paint to freshen it up would be nice.

I’ve been here a number of times with mixed results. I was originally excited about how you can make an appointment, but the last few times I ended up waiting in the waiting room for around an hour with hot morning sun blazing through the windows for 90% of the seats, so what’s the point of an appointment? I’ve also had mixed results with the providers…one has been terrible on two visits but one or two have been good, but a person doesn’t want to just hope to get a good provider when your health is in their hands, especially when it affects your ability to make it to work and you don’t have sick time such as the case for an agency aka travel nurse like myself.

Waited 3 hours to get seen and then was given a half ass visit where they weren’t able to tell me or help in any way. Do not come to this place

I walked in nervous as a stray cat!!!!! The ladies at the front desk were so polite and friendly. They got me in to be seen within 15 minutes. I was seen 5 minutes after that. After the doctor changed my meds. I was done. In & Out in 30 minutes…. Anytime I need help. I will go see them….

Took my son for an xray due to a sprain, and between him and my daughter - I highly recommend their services. Quick, efficient and communicated well with pediatrician and specialist - found a fracture in my daughter’s X-ray we would’ve never known about.

The staff from the front desk to the back were wonderful and the PA was just perfect.

The handful of times I’ve needed urgent care, I choose this facility. All the staff here have always been kind, professional and the providers are always knowledgeable and thorough. I prefer this urgent care over any other hands down. I have always been in good hands here. (Highly recommend making an appointment to secure your spot to be seen that day if you’re going in the evening).

I took my 6 year old for a minor dog bite. I have to say EVERYONE from the front desk to the doctor were so kind and welcoming to both him and myself. I was a little apprehensive because he is so young and they were specifically pediatric but I would recommend to anyone of any age needing to be seen in a pinch.

Went on and they said they are only taking appointments for the rest of the night... defeats the whole point of being an urgent care. Personally I think they shouldnt be able to do that but thats my opinion

Went here because my actual doctor office gave me no help or relief and also gave me bad advice . The urgent care provided me with answers and a coarse of action for relief

Great service. Way faster than waiting in an ER for a small issue. My regular doctor couldnt get me in all week but these guys got me antibiotics for my cat bite in under an hour.

Scheduling online was a breeze. Sunday afternoon appointment and check-in was an absolute breeze. 5 minutes later I was taken into an examination room. The staff were amazing and addressed all of my concerns. Extremely thorough and included follow up procedures. This location and its staff are world class and my experience was as well. No other clinics in the area remotely compare to this one. I highly recommend Express. Best experience I’ve had and your staff are truly exceptional.

Was seen and taken care of quickly and professionally. Clean office and friendly staff. I just wish that it wouldn’t be so much to even go back and see the doctor for people without insurance. $125 is sometimes more then people will make in a whole days of work and going there you obviously are either in pain or have something your unaware of medically. I am fortunate enough to have it and pay it but I know people will allow things to try to get better on their own or push through the pain because of the cost. Just an observation from someone who understands that insurance and primary care doctors are not a luxury that most have and I just feel like $125 is a lot to just go back and announcing that in the waiting area for everyone to hear can be demoralizing.

Hi ,l just went to your office 2 days ago suffering from a itching skin , l mean all over itching, legs back and my neck and back of the head . I saw a A.P. who prescribed me a pill similar to Benadril that has gotten rid of most of the itching, However ,my back still has that itchy feeling so l called to see if l could get a prescription for a stronger cream ,which my Insurance would pay for , because all of the OTC creams dont work ,but this A.P , l belives his name was Gavin has refused to write . I ask myself ,is it a gimmick to get me to come back and pay another copay so l can get the Rx for the cream ? It rally looks that it is the case

Took a friend to get a cut taking care of. And got turned away he was told to go to the ER. The cut was not real serious but needed some attention. Thanking they really dont want to do anything to help at 6 pm. It just sucks when people dont want to do their job...

The staff was great and made the process as easy and fast as possible. Overall it was one of my better experiences with an urgent care especially with my whole family needing checked out.

I had a nasty, deep cut on my index finger. I was in and out of Express urgent Care in under an hour. That included X-rays and stitches!

The pi took for ever to see me very condescending she prescribe Tylenol and I told her I been taking Tylenol since it happend she just kind of yell I’m not prescribing any narcotics like if I was asking for it I just need it something stronger just just wouldn’t. Refuse to do anything send me home with pain went to that urgent care waste my time

Did not give this company a high rating. my wife had ti go to a surgeon for further treatment and needed surgery due to the pa not doing her job properly instead of surturing a deep wound on my wifes leg she only put a dressing on he area my wife had to go to surgery twice will never go to this facility for even a cold

My special needs daughter who’s nonverbal and handicapped was seen here due to not feeling well. The staff was all polite and nice and understanding. I had a great doctor for my daughter as well and I don’t say that lightly, because I’ve had awful experiences at other places before. I was in and out within a hour and I did have an appointment but they weren’t busy either way. Thanks for making us feel safe and welcomed and taken care of!.

The process was as quick as it could be given the great number of people being seen. The staff was kind and respectful throughout each step even though they were busy. Each member I spoke to took time to answer my questions, and I appreciate them all for that kindness.

From my experience at Express urgent Care, they was very professional and knowledgeable. Wait time really wasnt that bad, for a person that did a walk in without an appointment. I recommend if you need to see someone ASAP that this will be a good place to go. Think they was very friendly and courteous and they answer all your medical needs, anyway that you will understand it.

“Express Convenient Care”. What is “express” about a 1.5 hour wait?? Scheduled a visit for a family member and confirmed we were coming over the phone at pre-arrival check in. Got there at 6:00 and are told they are not seeing anymore patients (they close at 7:00). Was also told they called to tell us that - “funny” that we didn’t have any missed calls showing on our phone. They then said they can “squeeze us in” and the wait is 1.5 hours. Very frustrating to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and still have a longer than necessary wait. We ended up leaving.

The staff and doctors are amazing we have been seen, when we been sick. But today was for a physical for my son to get his permit and they were professional and was seen quickly.

Staff was efficient and took care of me right away. Friendly and helpful good team at this urgent care.

Went Quick. In and out. Nice and helpful staff. I had a local urgent care but the wait time is always so long. I drove the extra time to this one and was satisfied and knew what i had going in.

Ive been here many times, long wait times seems to he the norm everywhere so thats not the issue. It was the staff up front. Actually complaining loud enough for me and my 10 yr old son to hear. The Dr. came out and saw all the people, so the short haired lady up front again said something nasty about all the people coming in. That is so not proffesional at all. We left right away as we felt like we werent welcome there. Very sad because the nurses and Dr. we have seen were always super nice. Its the staff up front. Rude and not what you wana deal with when having to go to the doctors office. So to that short haired witch up front... quit and get a job you like if ya dont like the one you have. Its not our fault you suck at life and took a job you hate. Hoping they make a staff change one day, the nasty staff they have is giving them a bad name. We left and she laughed as we left. Thinking it was funny. It wasnt funny. At all.

I seen someone say they had a long wait but I was in and out within 30 mins and the staff was extremely polite and friendly it was a calm, cool experience.

Two hour wait with an appointment. Says they accept insurance on website but then depending on who is working might not accept it.

Professional and quick appointment. Had xrays, saw PA and received treatment within 1 hour. Clean facility.

Delay was quite long but the people were very helpful!

Came in with severe back pain. 2nd in line got seen quickly. Everyone was very caring. I thought l had shingles the pain was so bad. They took a chest xray to be sure it wasnt anything wrong with my lungs. Dr felt it was a muscle or nerve problem. He ordered steroids and a muscle relaxant ....within a few days pain was much better and lam back on my feet again! Thank you all so very much ❤️ 🙏 💖

Always a savior honestly when I’m in a bind. Their waiting times can take a while but just take a book with you and you will be fine. The staff are really nice and thorough and do their best to get you back on track.

I made an appt online. I was taken in before my appt time and waited less than five minutes to see the PA. He was kind, fast , thorough and answers all my questions and concerns. Diagnosed my issue and all prescriptions were called in before leaving. I highly recommend and would use again in the future .

Dr. Gavin and his staff are above and beyond wonderful. I came into the office after just leaving my own PCP office...Dr. Gavin and staff treated me with respect, did a full exam and they were able to test and diagnose me, give me a prescription for an antibiotic and I was on my way! The wait time was short (thankfully). The atmosphere in this office is wonderful when youre feeling so sick, you just want to be cared for and out the door! They were great!

Im so glad I went to Express Urgent Care of Scranton. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything. It was a good experience and a good place to go!

Absolutely terrible customer service experience my fiance hasnt been feeling well the last couple days we decided to go urgent care tonight they dont close until 5 most urgent cares take walk ins up to the last 15 mins prior to closing. Unfortunately she works late today and by the time we got there it was 4:15-4:20 we were told by the receptionist they were at capacity and not seeing anyone else today but come back tomorrow. Mind you there was ONE car in the entire parking lot and that patient came out before we even got back in the car to leave. Moral of the story is they refused care to make sure they can leave on time rather than see my fiance. What a terrible experience.

They were incredibly quick and efficient. It was a very clean establishment. I had an appt for 9 and was out the door by 9:32. That’s superb! I’ve had my fair share of urgent care visits and this one by far was the best. Thank you!

I had cut my leg on a rusty screw so I came to Express Urgent Care. I filled out the forms they needed and I was taken right in. I was given a tetanus shot and I was given stitches. Everyone there was so nice. I appreciate everything they did for me and how kind everyone was. I was in and out within an hour. I plan on telling everyone I know to go there, very informative and professional. I am so impressed and grateful for their wonderful care.

First visit to Express Urgent Care, and check in was quick and easy.Was seen within 15-20 minutes of arrival. Everyone was helpful and courteous.Lindsey was who assisted me and was excellent in explaining treatment.

Been here many times. Every time there are new rules on appointments. I made an appointment this time because last time they wouldn’t take anyone until they had a break in appointments. Now I’ve watch three people without appointments go in before me and my appointment was 15 minutes ago. When you are sick and people are coughing next to you your immune system is already compromised. I don’t want to wait but there is no way around it. Have an appointment wait. No appointment wait. I can’t seem to figure this office out. I even walked in before the people who went in ahead of me.

So I made an appointment on a Saturday for 9am for a DOT Physical. I made this appointment on Thursday, after I made the appointment I got 2 emails reminding me that I made the appointment and one text to confirm the appointment. I show up at 845 like most health care offices want you to. The doors were locked so I sat in my car. At 859 I get a call from the women behind the desk and she tells me that the Dr that does the physicals does not work on Saturdays and that I would have to reschedule. So I rescheduled my appointment and now it’s Tuesday at 510 pm. I show up at 5pm and here it is 715 pm and I am still here. If I could give zero stars that’s what i feel this place deserves. I will say the Dr and only one nurse was very nice. But besides that this place needs new management because the management here now is absolutely awful.

Currently sitting in the parking lot at 7:17p.m. to write this, There is posted hours of operation until 8p.m. I walked in at 6:44 to be looked at to be told they wont be looking at anyone else after sitting in the waiting room for almost 30 min. Very unprofessional if you ask me especially if youre supposed to be an emergency care provider. Within those 30 minutes they also told other people they wont be looked at either. If your not going to follow hours of operation then dont post them, or put a sign on the door notifying that this facility works when it wants too! Absurd!

My son was seen for an asthmatic reaction to a virus. Turns out he had strep, which Lindsey Evans, PA immediately tested for and treated. The last visit we had to a local ER when our child had a virus, we were told it simply needed to run its course. Not always the case with an asthmatic, and this provider understands that. We felt incredibly lucky to have her on a holiday weekend when we could not get to his pulmonologist.

Respectable Staff, aware of the needs of patient. Would highly recommend this clinic .

I took my son here today , he tested positive for strep. Everyone there was very polite, kind, and helpful. The nurses and the Physicians Assistant were wonderful and I will definitely come back.

It was extremely busy but everyone was kind and understanding. They took care of everyone coming in as soon as they could it was the Holiday and only one Dr on but still went well I was diagnosed and had x-ray and a script sent into my pharmacy

Completely incompetent..I could not walk I showed them my swollen foot ..they took x-rays told me it was a callus ...3 days later at work it exploded in my boot in the middle of the work day ...as u can see in the picture thats not usually where u even get calluses. I had green puss come out of it for days after it busted.

There was a decent traffic flow when I arrived as a walkin. Receptionist were very polite and kind. Intake nurse was also very polite and kind and was focused on me and listened to everything I answered and wrote it down as well as asking follow up questions.Dr. Evans was my physician and I can tell you she cares about what she does. Listens and had immediate answers all while having the empathy and understanding a quality Dr. Should have. Its good to know you can walk into a walk in clinic and have everyone there to make sure you are taken care of. Thank you
