NextCare Urgent Care San Antonio

I couldn’t wait to see my doctor until next week. Today my symptoms got worse so I scheduled appointment online w Next Care Urgent Care Woodlake.  Online scheduling super efficient. Check-in was fast, front office staff friendly and quick.  The medical staff was the best I have ever met. They tested, diagnosed me and sent scrip to pharmacy. They will call me in three days should lab results show further treatment necessary. I was beyon pleased. I will recommend Next Care to family, friends and hopefully anyone who finds my review useful.

Everything was great other than waiting for the girls up front to take my payment, but they were very nice and professional. The doctor understood my concerns and took care of my prescriptions right away. I will always come back if I need to. Highly recommend.

Clinic was very clean and I loved that. Upon arrival they made everybody wear a mask before checking in and that they had completely glass between the patients and the front desk staff. The whole clinic staff was very polite and friendly. And they were very quick getting me in and out. The only thing I would change is that if the staff is asking that the patients wear one of their provided masks upon entering, then the staff wear masks as well in return to ensure the safety of not only the clinic staff, but the patient as well.

Physician Assistance Mr. Brian was personable and genuine.  He was thorough in his assessment of my illness and how to treat it. I appreciated his recommendations, without unnecessary extras that would not have benefited me.  Thank you Lord that you still have physicians willing to take care of the patient and not lined their pockets with pharma kickbacks.  Amen and Amen.  Highly recommend this location.  The receptionist is not so pleasant nor helpful  but seeing Dr. Brian made up for it!

Outstanding care, Outstanding staff and Outstanding physician. Like always it way pass my expectations. Quit and professional front desk, courteous. But most ++++++ was the compassion and knowledge of the physician to determine my condition and place me in an aggressive medication that without a fought will give the relieve i need. Thanks guys .

I went in on Sunday morning and even though there wasnt a lot of people in the waiting room, I did have to wait awhile, but it was my first time. The doctor said with the tests the did prior to my room visit that I had Covid. He didnt really hear my lungs well because I was talking at the time. Maybe he had sonic ears or can tune things out easily, but said I was clear.Doctor was nice and professional, but he really should introduce himself when he comes into a room and stop with the political off topic talk unless the patient wants to engage. I just wanted to get what I needed and get home.Other than that, I would recommend this place to anyone who has BCBS like I do! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Been sick for over a week and was able to make an audit the same day. The staff was really helpful and nice. My provider listened to me and addressed my issues and told me his recommendations and ask if that would work for me and he even addressed what other issues I could be suffering from.

I had such a positive experience at this urgent care. I was able to schedule a visit online which made the check in process smoother. I had a wait for a minutes to be seen (no biggie this is 100% expected when you go to an urgent care). I did feel bad because I walked in close to closing time. But that did not interfere with the quality of care provided by the staff and Dr. Lupfer. Everyone was professional and prompt and I swear I was out of there in LESS than 40 minutes.

Everyone was very nice, but I don’t feel confident about my diagnosis. The x-rays taken were haphazardly done and the results were not carefully read. They came back too quickly. And the PA that saw me didn’t seem all that knowledgeable. He was too quick to believe the online radiology report and did not review the images himself.

I visited on Tuesday 7-23/24. From the moment I walked in to the office I was greeted cheerfully and asked if I needed help. From the front office to the triage nurse to the provider everyone was top notch and making sure I was ok while answering questions and getting tested and test results. Wonderful team. Definitely making this my go to urgent care when I need one

They were so sweet and understanding from the front desk to the nurse to the dr...I had a super busy day planned and also am 29 weeks pregnant and emotional...I had to take my 15 y.o. to get his physical and he broke one pair of his glasses and forgot his other pair so thankfully they told me to come back anytime today. And they got him right in and out I cant put into words how appreciative I am for getting treated so well. It truly made my day and moving forward I will always come here. Thank you thank you thank you!

Appointment was easy enough but I found it odd that I brought my kid in for a sports physical and the guy walked in, listened to his heart for maybe 2 seconds, asked if I had questions, signed the paper and left. Did not check a SINGLE thing that was listed on the physical to check. They have that list for a reason and it’s not like the coaches are actually calling to check that a dr saw my kid so I could have checked all the boxes and chicken scratched a signature on that paper and not paid money for a visit where my kid missed school for that bs. What if there was actually something wrong? The point of the physical is completely missed with this kind of negligence. We’ve been to this location many times and I’ve never seen that provider before and I hope we never do again

On 2 separate occasions I’ve gone here for care and on BOTH occasions they sent me to the ER and said they couldn’t help me. I wasn’t even severe- so if you actually need help don’t bother coming here.Instead of the ER the second time (because the first time was thousands of dollars, with insurance) I just went to a Texas MedClinic- where they actually helped me. Save yourself the copay at this clinic, save yourself the ER bill, just go to another clinic where they actually help.Also- their bathroom has been out of order in the lobby for months now and they still haven’t fixed it.

Very bad experience today, I feel taken advantage of as a military client. I have never experienced this kind of treatment, not just me but my 2 sons as well. I have to think long and hard about returning especially if the staff that was there today replaced the usual AMAZING STAFF. I shouldn’t be charged for one of my sons considering you all did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (I had to ask for a Covid test for myself and my son, YES my youngest tested positive first, but I shouldn’t have to ask for us to get tested. She never did my strep test after I asked!). The “nurse” said because one tested positive we will assume everyone is, I’m not paying for an ASSUMPTION (I needed TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION OF THE RESULTS) ! Then on discharge papers 2 of us had the positive result and my oldest has an acute respiratory infection HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? If you are going to ASSume we all had Covid without our proper testing I should ASSume I’m only being charged for one test? (Doesn’t make sense right ?) I had to ASK for my TWO son’s discharge papers after only being given mine and told to leave. My oldest son wasn’t tested AT ALL and they should not charge us , we saw the doctor for a total of 2 min(my throat is RAW he didn’t even check us except a crappy attempt to listen to my lungs AFTER I was given discharge papers!).Absolutely the worst experience out of TWO years of going here. We get there at 12:16 had appts 12:20,12:30 &. 12:40 of course they saw the lady paying $180 cash first after she left and came back and wasn’t on the waiting list, NO ONE WAS THERE AT ALL! TRICARE clients, just go to BAMC if this is the staff that replaced the AMAZING USUAL STAFF. I feel incredibly bad, I should’ve stayed home instead of wasting my time today with the EMPTY next care. You all were SO AMAZING, sad this all went downhill with the staff today! (August 7th).

Waited for 1 hour, but recieved great care! I went in with acute back pain, it was difficult to get up walk, and even sit. The doctor was able to accurately diagnose me and prescribe the right meds, now Im good as new. Thank you so much!!!

This place will be my go to Urgent Care from now on! The staff is great and the providers are amazing. Waiting time is not bad at all depending if you check in and fill out everything online but once youre in a room they get to work and youre out before you know it. Great place.

I had a very pleasant experience. Didn’t wait long to see the doctor. He was very nice and showed concern for me. I have been a few times to this urgent care and I highly recommend them.

I went in for two ear infections. Dr was really nice and made me feel comfortable.The nurse who attended me was very nice and made me feel comfortable also.No complaints from me. Thank you!

Everyone was very nice. The wait was long even though I had an appointment but it was Sunday on a holiday weekend, so Im sure they were short staffed. They did the best they could with that.

Ive been to NextCare a few times over the years and Id recommend coming in the morning on a Sunday! Its quick and hardly a wait. Set an appointment with the app to save time as well. Nurses and doctors were respectful, helpful and provided the care I needed

Might be the best emergency health care I’ve ever had. Both Alyssa and Lisa were amazing. Top notch in every way. Can’t recommend them enough and would leave more stars if I could. THANK YOU both.

This place is a best kept secret type of place! If everyone knew about this Gem, I dont think it would be as efficient as it was! It was easy to get to, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Better than the VA experience I had recently! No run around! Excellent place👍👍👍👍

Have an concerning issue. Went in like 3 hours before closing with my partner. The check in process was a bit frustrating since our connection was making it hard to answers our online questions but other than that, the service, the staff and the office came in clutch when we needed it and it was remarkably efficient. I would come back again if needed.

Front desk was not friendly and the only job she did was direct people to a QR code. Nurse was friendly and took vitals with conversation and a smile. Doctor was very rushed and dismissive. Seemed in a hurry to be somewhere else while exam took place. Was not thorough in explaining diagnosis or medication prescribed. I received the care needed to overcome the illness but in a way that I wouldnt feel inclined to return.

Best urgent care center Ive been too. Very fast and efficient, the staff is always friendly. Definitely recommend if youre looking to be in and out and you dont have a lot of time to wait around.

Great. Fast and professional service. I went there before back in 2021 and had a great experience. They are affiliated with the VA so I did have to pay anything.

I decided to go in after suffering from congestion and coughing for a few weeks. Waiting time was very minimal( less than 30 minutes). The Staff was very friendly and professional. My examination was done with care and attention to my symptoms to arrive at my diagnosis and treatment. I was very happy with my visit. I would be happy to visit in the future.

The clinic is very clean and Comfortable The Young Lady at the desk was courteous and professional. I was taking back right on time and seen by the LVN and the PA. Addressed my needs and concerns. This is my second time here and I can say that this will be my go to for any time. I need urgent care.

Before even getting to an exam room it took over an hour, even with an appointment. other patients allowed to an exam room before us aswell, not a very pleasant experience, intake nurse also advised us that even after waiting an hour they wouldn’t be able to do much and that an ER would’ve been a more viable option, well of I knew then what I knew now I would’ve just saved my time and went to the ER cross town

Staff was excellent! Wait time was excellent. Provider was very nice and took care of my son with medications. Facility was very clean, if needed would definitely go back.

Very friendly staff. I took my 2 yr old. They worked very well with her making sure she was comfortable and not scared. Definitely will be first choice for any other issues that may arise in the future

I try not to go to urgent care if I don’t need it but when I do I am never satisfied with any care these facilities have.I went in for a vaginal discomfort of a possible infection. Gave a urine and swob my own self the Dr. never once checked me. After hearing my concerns and comments of the problem I was being dismissed and automatically being told it may be gonorrhea/ STI after repeating telling them I have a partner of 4 years living together we don’t go and mess around. Still kept dismissing my points on why it is not a STI to only tell me the chances of it being can be. To later find out it’s is false. My urine came back good and negative and still prescribe me UTI medication. Saw my OBGYN the next day to do all the test correctly and said she had no idea why they would prescribe that. And other than my discharge being abnormal everything else didn’t look alarming. Now wouldfirmly say do not go to urgent care for OBGYN and if possible NOTHING ELSE. Try to schedule appointments with provider.

Scheduled for a sports physical. I was able to get my son in same day. Process was straightforward. Staff and doctor were professional and pleasant. Thank you.

My experience with urgent Care on 78 was refreshing the people was delightful helpful kind and informative I wonder if the whole world could follow their lead when it come to others and caring for the human race God is alive in all of us

Made online appointment in middle of night for today’s visit. It was easy. From the front desk, the aide was nice and used great care to care for my leg wounds. James, PA was amazing. Excellent bedside manner, informational and he knew exactly how to help me. I’m so grateful to him and staff. I’ve been in such pain. Thank you for the best visit ever today when I really needed it. I wish they were a PCP & I’d come here. Whenever I come here they are consistent. I prefer their care over anywhere else. Thank you again! I definitely would recommend!

Was my first time here was worried it was going to be a long wait but surprisingly wasnt very pleased with the dr as well I recommend this location and if I need another urgent visit it will definitely be here staff was very nice as well

Best urgent care I have ever been to. Very organized. I was a walk-in, although next time I will make an appointment because it’s super easy to do it online. They took appointments on time! I was able to do all the paper work on my phone and see where I was next in line. When it was my turn, they took me to the back and took my vitals. I waited in the room assigned to me….maybe 3 mins before the doctor came. Great bedside manner! Super nice guy. He figured out what I had and talked treatment plan. He prescribed a conservative medication plan in addition to a stronger dosage incase I needed something stronger. I loved that since it would save me a visit if I still can’t shake off this darn sickness. He also offered me a note for work - I didn’t need one - but I loved that he asked unprompted.

JAMES, PAC and the nurse on staff were amazing!!! They were knowledgeable and deligent to rectifying the issue. My wait was not long either!

The young lady attending the front desk lacked customer service skills, appeared to be annoyed with questions I asked concerning my visit, and dismissed my concerns with the response-theyll tell you in the back. Provider Stamp misdiagnosed me during my initial visit on April 2, 2024. He prescribed Promethazine, which he acknowledged during my visit today-April 11, 2024, wouldnt be effective. He came to this conclusion in accordance with the chest exray that was performed during this visit. To make matters worse, he suggested that I follow up with my PCP if my symptoms continue for a total of 21-30 days.

Second time I’ve been there this month and I did not have to wait very long and the care I got was excellent both times staff is friendly !

The doctor I saw was informative and helpful. He was on point and knew exactly what was ailing from. The only reason. I didnt give it a 5 star ratingI made an appointment at 3pm online and didnt get seen for over an hour and had later. People came in after me got seen before me. What the use of making an appointment on line when staff does follow it.

Very disappointed, times that I come here I never had a problem with my insurance or with staff. Staff was very polite but had to cancel my appointment due to my insurance issue. I checked about my insurance when I got home and there was nothing wrong. The card I had was one card joint into one both medical and dental, its something new that my insurance are doing that way I dont have multiple cards. They had its medical number and dental number separate along with my insurance ID number. Mind you my insurance been the same, nothing change. I dont understand everything was on there and I even log into my insurance account and its valid. I dont know if there not reading it correctly but who knows. Just disappointed that nothing was done. They offered me some kinda plan to sign up but why am I going to do that if Im paying my medical needs through my work.

I went to this place for a clogged ear. they were so so nice and it went so fast. i’m so happy to hear again. they were great!

Checking in and submitting paperwork online was super easy. I walked and was seen within 10 minutes. The in-take was very patient friendly and efficient. The doctor was awesome and listen to my explanation of my symptoms and prescribed what she felt that I needed to get well. A great all around experience.

I like going to this location because whatever I need done is usually pretty quick and the Doctor is kind and caring.

Online scheduling was available although the in office experience was a let down for me. After walking into the building I noticed a full room and heard patient complaining about time waiting for over the expected time. My appointment was not in time. The appointment ran an Hour late an Hour with additional 15 minute late time. They Never informed of a delay for the inconvenience and ignored the fact that the appointment was late as if it were exceptable when it wasnt. It s January and I have come to realize with previous experiences I will change my mind about seeking care due to lack of motivation for others to do their jobs and provide upmost care. This is my go-to place for urgent care needs. Theyre very fast and thorough. I very much appreciate the user friendly online portal for setting up appointments. It makes it easy to walk in after scheduling a time. I was seen in a timely manner and since everything was already on file, my medications were filled at my pharmacy within 30 minutes. 10/10 I highly recommend.

We’ve been here multiple times and love it. Today’s appt was for 10 and it was almost 1030 when called back, but no different than a reg dr office. The ability to see waitlist and also wait in car vs in office is also a big plus. They sent a text when time for him to be seen and in we went. Definitely recommend

I like that I was able to walk in and be seen quickly. They asked me if I wanted to check for covid. Service was very professional. Check in was great no paper work, just used my phone which was better. Software was user friendly and staff were very nice, compassionate and caring.

Very quick I made an appointment for my 2 children and I and I was out in under an hour. Staff did an exceptional job caring for my 2 sick toddlers.

Had an absolutely incredible experience here. We officially checked in at 8:28 and were out with a complete treatment plan in just over an hour. The nursed we worked with were both absolutely amazing and the doctor (James) took his time in explaining exactly what was going on and reinforcing the ways that we can be sure were making the right decision between urgent care and ER in the future.I know that well be back here first if we have urgent care needs in the future.

Highly recommended. The Nurse, MA and The PA Brian Luper were very friendly, respectful and attentive. First time visit and best Dr visit I’ve ever had. I was only there for an hour and it was covered by my insurance.

I booked my appointment online earlier this morning and checked in online when I got there. I got in quickly. Everyone I came across from the beginning were friendly and empathetic to me. The doctor was super nice and explained everything. I feel that I recieved great care.

I had to wait over 3 hours from time of appointment to bring finished. My appointment was 1:40pm didn’t see nurse for 2 hours. Put in room and waited another 30 minutes to see doctor. The staff is very nice the doctor was knowledgeable and nice but waiting over 3 hours is ridiculous.

I was seen 03/30/2024 @ converse locationYoung lady at front office was very nice.also was seen by NP Stewart,Taylor gave me my diagnose and over counter medication for a common cold but I also have bad asthma.So after paying $200.00 with my insurance which not complaining not expecting anything free which I understand.NP told me if it worsen to call back to the office within 3 days which actually called back Monday but she was not there because she traveles to other clinics.So what gets me that they wanted me to go see the doctor that was there Monday and pay 194.00$ to check my lungs.which I was thinking why couldnt they just call the NP and have her call in my medication like she told me she would.will my weekend was sound bad that I was having asthma attacks likely I didnt wined up in the hospital.I also called the clinic to try to speak to the manager she never answered my calls.I will let my family and friends about the clinic dont give them any business.

My wife and I were the only ones in the urgent care it still took 45 min to see us I’ve had pain in my neck and right arm for 3 days that has progressively gotten worse the dr(?) that saw me doesn’t check me he just walks into the room and tells my wife and I it’s nothing and just take advil

I set my 4:20 pm appointment - online at 10am. At 4:21 after checking in, I was informed that their manager JUST told them that my insurance is out of network. I was returning a second time as I was still sick from my visit 3 weeks prior. No one took accountability for not informing me of the issue ALL DAY - other than to blame the manager. They said I’d probably have a “big bill” if I got seen. I cancelled and went home to call insurance company who confirmed I AM STILL IN NETWORK! On my prior visit Nov 7, I was seen for cough, ear & sinus infection yet not given any antibiotics other than the ear drops. I was given albuteral and told to take 2 puffs every 4-6 hours. (Should be an as needed medication as I was told today by another physician) I am still suffering from a sinus infection 3 weeks later because I wasn’t given proper care! Don’t do it… it’s not worth it! Go literally ANYWHERE else. I do not log on to leave reviews - it’s a hassle, but my experience was so bad today, I’d give them zero stars if I could. I’ll never return.

I just got told the damn clinic doesnt accept my insurance. Im not even exaggerating when I say they didnt say anything when I had an appointment there with my current insurance a month or 2 ago. Very disappointing and unprofessional, I made the appointment for a reason. I have a health concern I wanted to address, and get turned away!Only reason I didnt schedule one with my regular clinic is because I didnt want to have to wait until August with my primary care provider (yes you read right, until August)

Came here for my toddler. Great experience. From the receptionist, intake nurse and Dr, all were great, nice, professional, and really helpful.Hopefully I dont have to come back but if I need to I will choose this Urgent care everytime.

Never been to a medical facility where I experienced TOP NOTCH customer service from absolutely every single team member. The facility was busy, like we waited for a minute, during this wait period they had a crazy rude patient and the team kept their cool and had the most patience with him. We were really impressed. But the staff was genuinely happy to be there and I really loved the experience. You don’t see that often and I thought it was really special. So, thanks y’all.

Another great experience at NextCare. I brought my daughter in. They had plenty of appointments available. I was able to schedule and have my daughter seen within an hour. The check in process was super easy. Once we arrived the staff was very nice and we were called to the back quick. From arrival to when we left wasnt even 30 minutes. Thank you NextCare!

OMG! I cannot rave enough. This is one of the best urgent care places Ihave ever been to. I only moved to this area a month ago. Been finding my way around and had seen NextCare Urgent Care never thinking Id be needing them soon. The staff is wonderful and helped me with the paperwork. The physician was very tentive and asked me questions about my problem. And kudos to the nurse who took care of my ear. I can hear again! You are all great!!! Thank you.

Went after work to take my son for minor health issue. All paperwork was done online so it was super convenient. Not a long wait especially because I literally made the appointment last minute. From start to finish I would say it took about 1 hr. The Dr was super nice, very helpful and even called our local pharmacy to make sure my sons medication would be available before sending the scripture. Thank you guys!! They had contactless checking, if its first time, you scan the QR code on the door, you can fill out the info in the waiting room or in your car, they called me up pretty fast, I was almost done filling paperwork digitally. Only had to wait for 5min or so, triage went smoothly, and did not have to wait long before doc checked me out. Very friendly staff, and genuinely felt like they cared. This compared to a 4hour visit to the ER was much better, especially if you are not feeling well. And now that you are in their system, you can download the app, and do everything on there for future care.

I had such a great experience. My appt was at 12:20pm and was out of there before 1:30pm so that’s not bad at all. All staff was respectful and kind. The Physicians assistant, James Stamp was amazing! Great job everyone. I will definitely go back when I need an urgent care. Thanks!

We didn’t have to wait very long. It was a clean environment. Front desk staff were kind. Absolutely loved the doctor and nurse that we saw. They were very knowledgeable and understanding. They listened to all of my concerns and were very helpful in taking care of my 1 year old.

Horrible experience. doctor wasnt listening every-time told him what i was feeling he paused and would think with out saying anything for 5 minutes just saying hmmm hmmm. i felt really uncomfortable. ended up prescribing medication that did the opposite for what i was looking for and or needed AND it was Over the counter! i could of saved a visit ,bad experience and my money . WASTED $75 waste of money avoid really bad experience! ended up going to another place way better experience prescribed correct medication!

Service provided was excellent. Went in for a Rapid Test and received good news. I also experienced the same level of care when I went in March even though I tested positive. The only problem I had was that the instructions on the door were vague and after providing my insurance information online as requested and scheduling an appt at the next available time I had to do it all over again before I could be seen. I think the process needs some next gen evolution but the service was great, the facility was very clean, organized, and professional.

Front desk staff and MA that checked me in were phenomenal!!! The doctor that saw me briefly on to tell me there’s was nothing she could do for me was horrible. Honestly, she acted like she was on drugs.I told her I had a cough for 5 days and it was productive. Because I’m a transplant patient she even refused to do a chest X-ray.The care wasn’t even care when I did what she did recommend which was call my transplant doctor on/call. The first question they ask me was did they at least do a chest X-ray?? I said no and my doctor response was are you sure the provider was a doctor. Very disappointed and if I ever feel the need to go there again if I learn she is the doctor. I will just turn around and walk right back out.She was ridiculous.

I had a great experience after being told to go to an Urgent Care by my sons PCP. As a walk-in I did not have to wait long. Maybe 15 minutes? The online check-in was very nice and easy. The treating doctor was very concerned and listened. Although the issue was outside his control, he was able to give great advice and a referral with detailed information to take to my PCP or ER.

Very friendly staff. Though I must warn you... If the person drawing blood tells you it might hurt because they might poke a tendon instead of a vein, believe them. And if and when you feel that pain, dont allow them to try again. Because I stead of trying again , they may continue to stab that tendon instead of the vein... Causing excruciating pain. Ask for someone else because someone there actually knows what theyre doing. The next person was able to draw blood without any pain whatsoever. Again.. nice place with friendly staff.. yet beware

The atmosphere and staff are amazing. They truly care about their patients and make your concerns a priority. I went in because I wasn’t feeling very good and had begun a skin irritation. They fixed me up and even made sure my meds were filled on time so that I could begin intervention. I definitely recommend them!

Amazing! There was a little bit of wait, as expected being an urgent care. But as soon as they took me inside I got seen right away and got lab results back right away. The place was extremely clean and staff was super nice and attentive. Also, they checked on me like every 5 minutes and assured me that they were just waiting for lab results. I had to use the restroom while I was in there and the nurse cleaned it before I went in due to covid. Extremely happy and pleased with this place and the staff. Definitely will come back if I need to.

Went here based on the reviews and Im so glad I did. My appointment was at 9:40 and I was done by 10:05. Brian listens to his patients and has great bedside manner. Receptionist and medical staff were all helpful and welcoming! Would definitely come again.

New to TX originally from Louisiana. The online process was super convenient. Make the appt and fill out the “paperwork” before going to the clinic. Basically just had to walk up to the receptionist and make my payment (out of state insurance not accepted). Went straight to the back. No wait. Friendly service. Dr. Stamp had a great bedside manner.

I took my daughter in not knowing if she had Covid, flu, strep, etc (so much going around these days). So, they gave her the necessary tests and made her feel comfortable during the process. We left feeling optimistic regarding her diagnosis and treatment plan. Im so grateful for the care team at the Next are Urgent Care (FM78 facility), and I definitely recommend them.

Great urgent care experience. Couldnt get an appt with my Dr for several days for strep but this location got me in and out in less than an hour and picked up meds otw home. The nurse Lisa was kind and easy to talk to, and the PA Dr. Naschke was straight forward and quick.

Yesterday my experience in this clinic was truly shocking. Not only was I spoken too in a rude condescending manner by the nurse after I waited a longer time than I expected. The nurse also proceeded to go in the other room to discuss my problem with the doctor and then her, AND the doctor continued to laugh at my situation clearly enough for me to hear in the room right beside them. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Then the nurse came in like nothing had happened and proceeded to try to assure me they wanted to do what was best for me, even tho it’s hard to believe when you just heard then laughing at you. For simply wanting to be seen for by a doctor. Which I do not believe is a crazy thing considering It is an URGENT CARE. I should not have to feel like I am a burden to a medical staff when I paid just like everyone else to get seen. The doctor himself at first did not even have the right information. About why I was coming in in the first place, but once he understood that I had been feeling unwell for much longer than he thought I finally got the care I needed. I will not be coming back ever again, and I will be warning people against It. People in the health field should really at least pretend to care more about their patients. I’m glad at the very least that I was seen and given the treatment I needed after all that.

I’ve been coming here since 2017 for myself and children. They take insurance and also VA patients. It’s always clean. Dr. Stamper is amazing, I trust him to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment. I’ve seen others in the past who were also precessional and helpful. You can schedule appointments online so you don’t have to wait as long in the lobby.

First time visit, filled out paperwork on line, arrived early for the appointment, checked-in on line and was within 5 minutes of checking in.Staff was very polite and accommodating to my grandsons illness. Listened to what he had to say as well.I will definitely use this urgent care frequently. One of the best!

There was not long waiting time, its in the neighborhood. Pharmacy across the street. Wasnt there a good hour. Staff friendly and very knowledgeable about their job. Im a happy patient.

I didn’t have a good experience with the front desk lady with long hair at first because it felt as if she was trying to put me on the spot or embarrass me! But I ended up coming back and just worried abt myself the lady I forgot her name but she took me to the back she had a pink or red n95 mask on and she was absolutely the best made me feel comfortable and at ease even with my circumstances! She genuinely cares and it shows! I’d also like to shout out dr. James! He is amazing also you can really tell when people care about you by the tone of their voice, body language and just overall helpful and calming! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody! Other than the front desk lady not having the best people skills everybody else was wonderful definitely best urgent care experience! They treated me like a human instead of a number!

Took my daughter in here in a hurry because it was the closest place I could fine. I was kindly greeted and given mask because like I said, in a hurry. Hardly any wait time and the nurse and doctor were really nice. My daughter ended up have a really high fever and ended up being the flu. They checked out everything though to make sure that was all it was. They made my baby comfortable even though she was feeling cruddy. I appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Thanks!

Everyone there from the nurses to the physician was very friendly, sweet, and had great senses of humor. All perfect combinations when you’re not feeling well. The whole clinic also was very clean and the mobile check in system was so easy. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Utilized the walk in services for this clinic. Was initially a little weary as the time said 7pm for an appointment but it changed to 5:15 and then before you knew it I was seen by 3pm. Not too bad for not having an appointment and was way better than sitting in a packed emergency room for sure. When I entered the building the staff was very friendly, the facility was very well maintained, clean and nice. The provider when I did see him was very friendly, and addressed all my concerns. I would rather not, but if I had to come back for urgent care issues, I would not hesitate returning here.

First time going to Next Care and was able to do everything from their website. Scheduled same day appointment and fill out all the new patient paperwork on line. They greeted you the minute you walked in the door. Within 10 minutes was called to the back and doctor came in within 5 minutes. Very pleased with my visit and will not hesitate to go back.

Other than the wait time (checked in online and still had to wait), I really appreciated Dr. Thompson. He took his time with me, listened, and showed concern. Hes an awesome doctor and when I had to bring my younger daughter to Impact one other time, he was really good with her as well and kept us in good spirits which made the wait worth it! The facility is always clean and I would definitely recommend this place!

Probably the worst experience, I’ve ever had!! The doctor, went onto the floor spoke loudly to his staff, the reason I came into the office as they all started laughing. He Basically exposed me and used me as a joke! This place literally has a gossip floor and we are just in these room’s listening. My girl and I recorded the whole event! Not to mention, I had a 1:20pm appointment and didn’t get out until 3:15pm.

I was expecting a long wait period but was shorter than I thought by the time my son got seen. He was in and out quick and was able to get cleared to fully practice again. Staff was friendly and reiterated for us being patient. Recommend if you are not able to see your normal provider.

Filled out forms electronically, receptionist was very polite and helpful, they saw me quickly, took samples and the PA saw me in record time, he called in my prescription immediately. The office is immaculate, loved the personnel, great service. Thank God theyre in this location.

Took my baby there because she was feeling sick. The wait was a bit to long but once we got in the room the rest of the visit took place quickly. The PA was patient, kind and knowledgeable. I would completely recommend Next Care Urgent Care. They were so accommodating after the Next Care Urgent Care Center in Alamo Heights was not able to do x-rays of my knee. The one I went to took me as a walk-in. The X-ray Tech/nurse was very nice, gentle and explained everything. The doctor had the best bed side manner, was upbeat, kind and extremely nice. He was light hearted and a true gentleman. Thank goodness my knee wasnt broken. Dr. Waters told me exactly what I needed to do for my knee and prescribed a topical gel for it.

Im still with the pain the Dr didnt care, I ask for the steroids shot and pills to take home and he gave me whatever he wanted never going back again..

I called in to make sure they could treat my son after a previous urgent care told me it would be 2 hours before they could stitch up my son. When I got there I called and they took all my info and quickly got me checked in. Within 15-20 minutes they called and got us from outside. The nurse and doctor were so polite and helpful with my son who is on the spectrum. My son felt very comfortable and even said it was fun there! Thank y’all for taking care of us!

Excellent care! The staff was knowledgeable and caring. I went to another urgent care and it was not a good experience. I left the prior urgent care with prescriptions and no diagnosis.I had an x-ray and left NextCare with an actual diagnosis. I had an understanding of what was making me feel bad. NextCare did confirm the prescriptions given at the prior urgent care would help. I was given peace of mind. If I have any other issues, I will return to NextCare first!

Fast service. Friendly and professional staff. I’ve used this facility for the past 3 years and I’ve never had a complaint or bad visit. They are affordable. Right now they have a $20 sports physical for kids going on. They get you in and out fast. They also have affordable insurance plans if you don’t have insurance. Less than $200 to be seen your first visit with their insurance plans and then depending on the plan you choose your next visits are basically free. So the $200 you spend for the first visit is well worth the money if you end up going back for another visit.

This was my second time going to this location, I would 100% recommend and use them again the first time was so smooth, yes a wait but I expect that with urgent care to be real, first time was just for my son they were great with him (he is three) this time we were both seen on a Sunday (with an appointment) however we got a here and had to wait longer than I expected especially with from what I saw no one in there.. however with covid I get it. Again fantastic and kind with him listening to what my concerns were etc and giving me added care as he didnt think I would need antibiotics but wanted me to have access if I needed... Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the wait and clarity or expectations when arriving.

Had to get Covid tested today. Thought it was gonna be an expensive nightmare. Called around different places and frustrating. When I called here, it was so much different. Staff was amazing and helpful! Had a wait time of 2 and a half hours predicted to me but they had me in within about 45 to an hour. Doctor was super nice and easy to talk to! Loved this place and will be back if I ever need!! 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I went to this urgent care because it is in network for my UHC insurance & it is less than a mile away from my home. I was able to make my appointment online, along with uploading of my insurance card and completion of pre-visit questionnaire. All of the individuals that I had an encounter with were very nice and efficient. I was seen about 25 min later than the time stated, but I didn’t mind. My experience was overall extremely positive, but I would call ahead of time to ensure an x-ray tech is available, in the event you need imaging done. Since they were not able to do imaging for me today, they are letting me return tomorrow at no cost. I would highly recommend.

***EDIT***They do not seem to know how to send prescriptions over to pharmacies. I had to call them TWICE to ask them to send it because they hadnt sent the prescription. Receptionists was rude the last time I called. I did not have an attitude, just wanted my meds.***4-5 calls and 1 day later and the pharmacy finally has my prescription. Even though I had appt at 6 and didnt get called to almost 7 .... I understood because it was only 1 Dr . He was great and the nurse and whole team was very nice and professional. Definitely would go there again if I needed to.

I dont like to give bad reviews but Im super furious my husband made an appointment today for 2:20 PM. We got to the office and the young lady at the front desk said there were 12 people ahead of my husband and that we had to wait an hour and a half, we advised the young lady that we live 4 mins away and that it was too hot in wait in the car and we could not wait in the lobby as well and the way gas prices are rising we were not about to wait in the car and waste gas, the young lady at the front desk said that she would give my husband a call back to let him no when hes 1 person away we waited for a call and got nothing. My husband called the urgent care and the woman he spoke to was very rude from the get-go she stated that they had tried to contact him multiple times my husband then advise the woman that he never got a call and that he was waiting for one, the women we spoke to said she was not going to go back and forth with us and that she did not have time for us and hung up!

Besides waiting for three hours to be seen, (I recommend scheduling an appt before going to make it faster) the service here was awesome. The staff I encountered at my visit were all very friendly, caring, and super helpful. They were thorough and got me back on my feet quickly. The prescriptions I needed were sent out immediately, so I was able to pick them up right away from the CVS that’s luckily right behind. I would definitely recommend to new patients; just keep in mind the wait.

Nurse and doctor was friendly and the facility appeared to be very organized and clean. Although, the lady working the front desk, was ill-informed in regards to how the pricing, of the discount medical program I was signing up for worked. She insisted that my initial visit for the day was going to be $200...when the brochure and the NextCare rep on the phone clearly stated that it would be $161. She also stated, that each following visit would cost me $125 versus the $39, that was clearly printed on the brochure. Suffering from a Shingles outbreak, the last thing I felt like doing, was going back and forth over something that should have been clearly understood and communicated. In the end, it just felt as if she was trying to rip me off. Not a good feeling...not a good look🧐

I am ever so grateful for this clinic. The staff at the front desk have excellent customer service. The med tech that does the initial check in is very friendly and professional and the PA is the best!! He takes time to exam and evaluate the situation and then gives a precise plan and sends you away with a smile. I take my family here whenever we are in a crunch and can’t see our family doctor. They also do school sport physicals. It does cost $35 out of pocket but the convenience of it all is what I appreciate. They are taking the whole COVID-19 precaution serious so you can feel safe for the most part.

I suffer from horrible anxiety whenever I have to go to the dr and some doctors just make it worse but thr Dr there without even knowing, made me relaxed. I was in and out quickly and my needs were addressed and dealt with, without being rushed. I definitely found a new urgent care that I will be taking my kids and myself to from now on. My visit was very unpleasant. Apparently, the appointment time is not respected. The lady that took me back was pleasant; however, she broadcast my reason for visit an constantly called me girl. I opened the door and basically told them I heard what they said. They gave me a story about men afraid of that room (which was down the hall). Leslie OConnell basically ignored my issue(s) and didnt answer my question regarding it. They closed the door after I opened it again from talking about me. She she COVID precautions but only put her mask on around me. I politely asked what was her name. She told me to read my paperwork. How dare she! Leslie OConnell is her name. Im am currently sitting in the office and hear the back office laughing and talking about me. I will file a compliant and write EXACTLY what was said. (Im NOT writing it here due to nature of the conversation and my privacy.) That was a violation of HIPPA. Look at the cameras to support my writings. Hopefully, the audio was recorded as well. The staff is very UNPROFESSIONAL! (FM78 location) UPDATE: Leslie OConnell was informed by the pharmacist that she has to contact my insurance to get authorization or write me a different prescription. She has yet to.

The staff at this facility are top notch! Work well together. Seemed efficient and caring. Made me feel cared for. As much as I hate to go to a hospital of any size I would come back to this Health care facility!

Signed in online. That’s a great thing of itself. The doctor, nurse and receptionist were very nice and attentive. The wait was not very long. I do have to say that the woman who took my vitals and did my swabs was extremely rough. I had to endure 3 swab test and there was blood in the swabs from my nose. I’ve had several Flu/Covid test before and I’ve never had someone scrap and hurt me the way she did. The swab on my throat for strep wasn’t any better. My throat was scratched up from the hard swap that it still hurts 36 hours later. Someone should teach her to be a bit more conscious and gentle with the patient, especially when we are already feeling awful as it is.

My husband and I highly recommend Impact Urgent Care. Ive actually had to go to this Clinic about 3 or 4 times and my husband twice. The waiting area is always clean and the reception staff are always friendly and efficient. The doctor is very patient and knowledgeable. Has always taken the time to explain everything thoroughly to me. I also had to take my mom there a couple of times and they were so kind to her and patient with her as well. have many many friends who go to Impact Urgent Care. Ive never heard anything negative.

The staff here is amazing. I have been taking my family here for over two years now. The wait is never long, and I never feel like I our service is being rushed. Anytime one of my kids or I have felt nervous, the staff is quick to ease our fears with patience and just listening. I cannot recommend this place enough!

As per usual the visit went smoothly and I received the care that my PCP should be giving me but isn’t. I love that when I do get sick I can be seen within 24 hours and the care provided is better than what I receive at my PCP’s office.

My husband and I have been coming here pretty much since they opened. We have always had a positive experience here. The staff is always professional, caring and kind. The place is always in tip top shape whether you are the first patient in the morning or last patient of the day. Believe me Ive been both. I highly recommend this facility.

Great group of folks that go above and beyond to assist. The ladies at the front desk are always polite, professional, and very helpful each and every time. The same goes for the Drs at this location. Weve been there several times and have always received the best care from everyone.

I went to see the Dr and a PA, they were both GREAT! Danielle was great! I’m extremely happy with my visit. Although the front desk lady is a bit rude the back staff made up for it

Nurse was helpful and very informative. My visit was calm and pleasant not rushed. The doctor was cool and collected. Also very informative and explained all issues clearly. Best visit for feeling under the weather.

I needed a walk in service for my 2 year old. He had just started daycare the week before and ended up getting a cold. When I initially walked up to the building I read the sign on the door which read NOT to enter if the patient had any signs like cough, sneezing, congestion, etc. I turned around to go back to my vehicle and call like the sign had instructed but the lady at the front desk came out after me to see if she could help me any way. I was impressed and relieved by this because usually you would just be allowed to walk alway. She got us checked in and my baby was seen within 20-30 mins and we were on our way. The staff who were involved with my son’s care were pretty nice and seemed to care about what I needed. I also witnessed them try to help other patients the best way they could and made sure the patients understood what they could and could not do and direct them to someplace that could instead of just turning them away.
