Dr. Douglas and the team are the best. I can vouch for it as I have been to two other doctors. The sync that him and his team has is incredible. Everyone knows exactly what they are supposed to do. Best part is Dr. Douglas is always available if there are any concerns which is very rare to get.Lana is always to the point and excellent at what she does.Vicky at the frontdesk is always ready to help with a smiling face. Same is Karen.Susan who does blood work is extremely sweet.Terry is the best sonographer as she is very accurate and precise with what she does which is so important.Hetal who heads the lab is the best at what she does. They are a dream team.Thank you Dr. Douglas and the team.

I was seeing Dr. James Douglas Located in: Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano for fertility treatments 2-3 times a week. At the time I lived in Plano TX. The Drs office successfully billed my insurance accordingly, and was paid hundreds of dollars. However, I was responsible for the $25.00 co-pay. My husband and I later moved. Unknown to me, one of my co-pay checks for $25.00 did not clear the bank. There were no attempts made requesting that I pay the $25.00 along with a return check fee. Instead, the Doctors office put a warrant out for my arrest!!!!In 2018, I went to jail voluntarily and turned myself in. I was processed, and fingerprinted. I paid the fine, and left the same day. I was given a court date. I obtained a lawyer. On the day I appeared before the judge, my lawyer spoke with the prosecutor and to my excitement had the cast DISMISSED!! I paid the additional fines that were required, and I literally thought I had put that nightmare behind me.However, my fingerprints are now in the FBIs database and I constantly have to explain myself to future employers proving that I AM NOT A THIEF!!!!!!To be treated like a criminal for a honest mistake. I have paid over $5,000 in legal fees and fines all to resolve a miscommunication regarding a $25.00 check!!!!!!!!

I found Dr. Douglas via reviews online. My husband and I did our first IVF treatment with him in September 2018 and got our positive pregnancy test on 10/26/18! Dr. Douglas is smart, thorough, and knows how to have a game plan and get it done. IVF with him was planned, easy, and such a positive experience for us. We are due in July and so excited that Dr. Douglas knew what I needed to get me here.

Dr Douglas and his staff are amazing! I have visited many fertility doctors and he was the best out of them all. He takes time to answer all your questions and never rushes you and you can meet with him as many times as you would like until you feel at ease. Other places I went to the doctor would be good but, the staff would be so rude which would be super stressful. His staff and nurses are patient and so sweet especially Vickie, Karen and his nurses Beth and Angela. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for the overall experience of a stress free and friendly environment!

Dr. Douglas and his team (Angela, Steve, Lana, Vicky and Karen) were a God sent. They were compassionate detailed, and did not sugar coat anything, which is extremely helpful given the nature of what we all deal with.We have been with Dr. Douglas for almost 2 years and were able to successfully conceive via IVF. It was his experience and knowledge of having done this for so many years that led to our success. He modified our dosage and other processes each time to try and get us pregnant using various different methods before pursuing IVF. Angela and Lana were extremely patient and detailed throughout the process and helped us navigate through the visits and journey.Dr. Douglas and his team will answer all questions you have as long as you ask them and are actively involved in knowing what to ask and what you are going through. We would recommend anyone who is going through this path to go see Dr. Douglas and his team. For us Angela was a blessing because we really connected with her, and she was extremely helpful in explaining everything and taking the extra time to sit and talk to us.

We had been through Arkansas Fertility Clinic (worst experience and steer clear). We had almost lost hope but was referred to Plano IVF by a friend who had gotten pregnant with a healthy baby on her first attempt and is now getting her second baby. He diagnosed a prior issue that had not been identified before and we got pregnant on first attempt and now have a healthy baby. We didnt experience bad customer service and the staff was nothing but nice and professional to us. I would definitely recommend Dr Douglas.

After 5 years of having fertility issues and unable to have a successful pregnancy, Dr. Douglas was able to diagnose the cause and helped me become pregnant with my twins through IVF. The IVF Plano staff is like an extended family. They are great and always made me feel comfortable. They are a huge part of why my family is complete and so much happier. Thanks to them, I have two beautiful healthy twins, Israel & Elissandra!

Dr. Douglas is amazing and compassionate. In complete contrast, his staff is cruel ans unyielding. Be sure if Dr. Douglas tells you something, you get it in writing. Otherwise, his staff will keep you from seeing him and getting the care he promised.

This is without any doubt the best IVF clinic in the DFW area. If you compare CDC national statistics for IVF clinics, their success rate is very high. They are on my insurance’s -“Center of excellence” list. I highly recommend Dr Douglas if you are having fertility issues and looking for a great care.I came to Dr Douglas after I had failed IVF cycles with very poor results at a different IVF clinic in Irving, TX. Dr Douglas, unlike some of his peers in the industry, is not big on sweet talk, but when he does speak, he speaks with intent with a no-BS attitude that permeates honesty and integrity . We did just one IVF cycle with him and had extraordinary results. He sat down with us, meticulously analyzed what was wrong in previous cycles and came up with a solid plan. Today I have a beautiful baby and 10 good quality embryos in the bank. The whole staff at IVF Plano is amazing. Vicky, Karen, Lana, Angela, Steve, the nurse that draws blood- everyone is great at their jobs. At my previous IVF clinic, they had a huge staff but nobody cared about the patient. They just cared about how to milk my insurance. But at IVF Plano, Lana and Angela will literally walk you through every procedure and medicine. They will also let you know from where you can buy the meds to save money.Lastly, my special thanks to the ARTS department ( part of the hospital where the IVF procedure takes place). Pam at ARTS is another amazing soul. She will devote all her time to make sure you understand everything. Crystal is the best nurse (and person), I have ever met. She will make you feel like a baby and will provide utmost care and comfort. My egg retrieval and embryo implantation went so smooth and the post op care was excellent. They have top notch embryologists who do excellent work and take great care of your embryos. I just wish i wouldn’t have wasted my time with the previous IVF clinic and would have come to Dr Douglas sooner.

I’ve been to another IVF place before where I was just a number and the dr would always just assume meds I was on when I wasn’t. This place is amazing. I’m not a number, they know my name, what meds I’m on and they’re understanding and flexible with my religious conviction wants and needs.Everyone from Dr Douglas to Vickie to Karen to Angela to Lana has been so over the top caring. Even the little things like saying “when you’re pregnant you’ll do XYZ” or hugs or leg pats. And the big things like calling me from personal cell phones to give me results because the labs didn’t come back in time before the office closed. It’s important to have a place close to your home or work and this place isn’t the closest for me but their SART stats were amazing and Dr Johns my Endo dr recommended Dr Douglas to me. They’re not frivolous with appointments either. And even saw me when I really needed some clarity on an issue and I wasn’t scheduled.Side plug, if anyone reading this would like to do a study on miscarriage or infertility my church Citybridge/Watermark has one called Shiloh. It’s amazing. It’s helpful. Do it.

I have waited to write this review until I gave them a second chance... and then a third chance. After several negative experiences, I cannot recommend IVF Plano. After a high recommendation from my OBGYN, I was excited to start seeing Dr. Douglas, and maybe finally get some explanation for our miscarriages. Dr. Douglas was professional and knowledgeable. If our experience had only been with him, this wouldnt be a 1 star review.Unfortunately, our experiences with the office staff were negative enough to drive me to write this review. I dont normally even review places, but I am helpless and angry. My first negative experience happened when I called (as they instructed me to) to schedule a procedure to measure the lining of my uterus. The nurse was confused that I didnt know what a trigger shot was and told me that she was going to put the prescription and that I would have to pick it up before the procedure that was happening on Saturday (or maybe it was a Sunday). This meant I had to drive to the pharmacy to pick it up and pay $180 for a medication that my insurance didnt cover only to arrive to my appointment and have them say that I only need to take it if I am actively trying to get pregnant. They did not clarify this when they were on the phone with me. Dr. Douglas knew, prior to this call and procedure, that we are not currently trying to get pregnant but are rather trying to figure out why I lost my pregnancy at 19 weeks. This meant they didnt communicate with Dr.Douglas about the prescription or maybe they didnt even keep notes about it. When I asked what I should with the medication, they said we could keep it in their fridge, but that the pharmacy wouldnt take it back. So, there goes $180...My next two experiences were terrible phone calls with office staff that didnt seem to know what theyre doing and are rude while they try to figure it out. I was told to call next time I got my period to schedule an appointment to measure the lining of my uterus again. When I called, I told them I was instructed to call to make an appointment. She (I didnt get a name) asked for my name and then put me on an abrupt hold. She said she didnt know what I was calling for, that Dr.Douglas had notes that involved medication, but nothing else. I let her know I wasnt on medication. She then said, okay, well I then I guess we have to see you on the 12th day then if thats what he wanted well see you on Xday at Xtime. (didnt even ask if that time worked). I asked, Okay, well do we know what he wants for sure? and she said something to the effect of, Thats all it could be. He has a plan for the med, but you didnt take them. Well see you then. What??? Seriously? What meds? As the representative of my doctor, I expect you to know what the next steps in my case are. And yet, in the phone call with the confused prescription and in this one, it seemed that they had no idea what I was even calling for.THEN. I called again to see if I could change the appointment she made for me. I let her know that I am a teacher and could only do something after 1pm. She then said that because it is a sonogram, they have to fill the morning before they give afternoon appointments and that I should try calling on Friday to see if the morning had filled and I could maybe change it then. I repeated I wouldnt be able to make it in the morning, she was adamant that they had to fill the morning slots first. This means, as a teacher, I would have to wait until Friday to hopefully find coverage just for two periods or take the whole day just in case. This is incredibly difficult. As it is, for past appointments I ended having to take half days because of the inconvenience of scheduling.Overall, I am astounded by their rude treatment over the phone, inflexibility, and unprofessional communication. I was prescribed medication that wasnt supposed to be prescribed to me. That seems pretty major to me. And at this point, I guess I just donated it to them because its still in their fridge and I am cancelling my appointment.

After 7 years of trying multiple clomid and 2 IUI we finally did the IVF and thanks to God we got pregnant I am now the mother of a month old. And I could not be anymore pleased with everyone in the office too Vicky who answers the phone to the nurses that explain everything so detailed and don’t mind all the questions asked. I felt very welcome and good cared for. I definitely recommend Dr Douglass office he is very upfront and let’s you know treatment is not cheap to just be throwing the money he lets you know your possibilities based on your situation and not just makes you spend money. We will always be thankful

Worst experience ever. I will never recommend any person to waste their time and money. First they sent me to a blood test and never explained the results to me. Secondly after my cycle they never explained why it was unsuccessful, they were eager to sent me off. Thirdly I called to ask about the medications I took and the improvements they will make, the receptionist was extremely rude. Thanks for the worst service of my life. I wish I gave zero star.

I have visited this place once, the front desk is very difficult to work with, I need to get a copy of our own record, seems very difficult to get one and time consuming. So even for these small things, I lost my confidence on this office, I do not know if I should choose this office for my treatment or not
