NextCare Urgent Care Phoenix

Would have been a five if the staff weren’t chatting with each other.That being said, the location was convenient, the office itself was clean and orderly, and I liked the opportunity to do paperwork online. The Wi-Fi, though my phone indicated there was a signal, was down. When I asked about it, no explanation was given..

The front staff was really nice and quick. We eventually got placed in a room. I understand urgent care can take longer but we sat in that room for close to an hour. I dont recall the doctor ever introducing herself when she came in but her mannerisms were pretty rude. I wouldnt have minded the wait if the doctor had been more polite. The only reason I would return to this urgent care is because of its location. I will add that its very clean and the rest of the staff was really nice.

My cousin wasn’t feeling well and went here around 8pm. The staff was friendly and environment was clean. However, they provided us with nothing. We’re were told that “tests for Flu and Covid came back negative, but could be false negative.” Then they said take the at home test in 2 days to be sure! Like seriously! You’re going to hit her insurance HARD for telling us she was sick and to do the at home test?? Waste of time. Never again!

Best urgent care I’ve ever been to! My experience was great from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. All of the staff is kind and professional. The doctor was kind and knowledgeable. My visits lasted within a reasonable timeframe. Overall, I had a great experience!

I scheduled an appointment online luckily so when I went in I only had to wait a few minutes to be called.It was extremely busy but even with how many people they still had to attend, the staff was all very nice and helpful. The Dr. that helped me out, Mickey, was very kind, patient, and was never in a rush to answer all of my questions and explain everything in detail to me. This was a very positive experience and will be going back here if ever need to go back to urgent care.

The front staff were pretty rude, i put in for an appointment at 9 checked in 15 minutes before hand, there were no other appointments yet they told me the wait was an hour: it took over two hours. The entire staff was talking to each other and joking around. I wouldn’t come here again and would recommend everyone go to their doctor the next day. I only came here because it was open later. My consideration is unless you are really sick you are better off waiting than dealing with this clinic.Edit- the PA Michael was fantastic, really thorough. I liked him a lot, and I appreciate his effort.

Front desk was very helpful and able to locate my insurance information. The PA lady that took the staples out of my head was honestly incredible and a adorable person. She was confident in her ability, kind and very good at her job. I actually only felt one of them and it wasnt bad. Thanks for doing a good job and the care involved.

Nice and respectful team here. Made an appointment and they were still able to get me in earlier. The doctor was super nice, did not rush me, and was ready to answer my questions.

Zero stars is more like it. probably the worst clinic iv ever been to , waited 3.5 hours with a pre scheduled appointment before I was seen, then they said I have the flu, get some rest , that’s it . I would rather die in the street of infection then ever give this clinic money again .Seriously faster times and better care at major metro ER . Don’t do it , I promise you will remember my words when you are waiting 4 hours to get seen ,While waiting for the prescription , after the 3.5 hr wait . 730 pm appt seen at 11 pm , it took another hour and a half to give me the prescriptions I was prescribed , all the while the waiting room was full of unruly sick upset people literally roasting the staff for the same complaints I’m making here.If you read this review and still pursue care here , then you are beyond help , this is a light spirited review , I hope actually upset paitents I was sitting next to decide to post their experience as well.So 5 hours total and 300 for a z pack, you do the math .Only exception is Mrs Nancy was great 👍Everyone else

Booked the first available appointment but came in an hour early in case they had openings. I was encouraged to wait there but wish I would have gone home, waiting room was full of people coughing and I was not called back until 15 minutes after my appointment time. Pretty sure a walk in that came after me was called before me. The NP that provided my care seemed inexperienced, and under dosed my antibiotics for strep throat. I was getting progressively worse after 48 hours so I was seen by a different urgent care where my antibiotics were corrected and I am now improving.

Dont come here and see Dr. Mikey Nugyen if you expect to be taken seriously and treated with respect. The doctor litteraly told me theres too much wrong with me and to pick something. He said he was too busy to evaluate me. And he spoke down to me like a child. Then he argued with me about it. After this he threatened to have me leave and accused me of recording illegally when I told him I was documenting this experience for Google reviews and to make a complaint. My phone wasnt on. Nor was I touching it. He intentionally tried to set me up to get in trouble? I left willingly. Not before warning the people in the waiting room about this. I sent an email to the manager, doubtful anything will come of this though based on the other reviews I just read.

Covid and flu tests came back negative...I was visiting in Phoenix and I had asked the dr to check for a sinus infection as that is what it felt like and I was running a low grade fever...100.2. I also get sinus infections when I fly somtimes. She (dr) said well it doesnt look too bad. Two days later I am running 102 and went to Next Level Urgent care in Houston after flying back home. Drs need to listen to their patients. Dont be so dismissive of their thoughts. Now being treated for a sinus infection. Really frustrated with that dr and NexCare.

My experience over the phone with Britney was absolutely amazing, she’s a great workers and gets things done with ease and grace. Yall definitely need to keep her around. Not everyone has a light inside of them but hers shined through even over the phone which is so important this day and age. You can tell she cares about her job and the people she’s speaking with.

Paid $137 after insurance to wait in the lobby for 2 hours and they told me absolutely nothing about what I had or how to remedy it. Staff was unpleasant and spent as little time as possible on my issue.

We were able to schedule an appointment time online, which was awesome. When we arrived we learned it would be a little longer wait because there was only 1 provider seeing patients, but there was an option to used their facilities to have a telehealth appointment with no wait. I thought that was convenient for an alternative option. We opted to wait to see a provider in person and the wait was maybe an hour after my appointment time. It sure did beat waiting in an ER or waiting until Monday to call our Primary.Our PA (Katie) was excellent. She was professional and helpful. Our time with her was efficient and well spent. In and out in less than 15 minutes.All in all, it was a pleasant experience. The ladies at the front desk were helpful. I overheard other patients coming in and being rude to the front desk staff, but the ladies remained patient and professional. We were also pleased to witness them wiping down chairs and surfaces after the coughing Covid patients left the building. I have found my new go to urgent care. I do recommend scheduling your appointment as early as you are able to get online, as the time slots filled up quickly and with 1 provider, they were not able to take walk-ins on the Saturday morning we were there. The staff is so busy and they are still very professional and friendly. From the front desk, techs and med assistants were great. The doctor was very nice, listened to my concerns. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

If there was a zero, I would give that. I will never return to this urgent care. Radio station blaring not only in the lobby but also patient care areas. Two receptionists that did not have any care or concern for the people they were serving. Once I was back in the room, was asked “why are you here today”? I’m, for the reason I put on the form you insisted i fill out. Then asked me for all other info, indicating that she didn’t have access to the form. The patient care team was peaking so rudely and loudly to the patient in the room next to mine that I could hear every word. She was so condescending. Did she really think that would deescalate the situation ? Horrible from start to finish.

I had a great experience from the time I walked in. I was treated with respect and dignity and my concerns were validated. There was a bit of a wait but that’s to be expected when PAC Mickey Nguyen came in he made sure to explain everything in detail and gave me options on how to proceed with my current diagnosis and what to expect. The MA’s were phenomenal as well as front desk staff. Thank you for making this a good experience.

The worst front desk. I was waiting for my paperwork to be done and I waited so long until I walked to the front desk to check with them because they take a long time. she told me that yes, they are done. If I didn’t ask her I don’t think she would care. however the time I got the paperwork for my medicine the pharmacy is already closed. I forgot at end she said sorry.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. The medical field really is going backwards with the inefficient staff and system they have in place. Where has it come to where you set an appointment pay and cash and you’re considered a second class citizen and have to wait and receive awful customer service. Not using insurance apparently makes you second class and lesser of priority. Probably only good for people with Medicaid or government insurance since paying cash upfront is not good enough. AWFUL EXPERIENCE

The dr was condescending and acted like she didn’t want to be there. She rushed me out and told me she couldn’t help me. She did 1 test and when it came back negative she didn’t want to explore any other options or do any other tests she just said “it’s probably viral just take some Tylenol and treat your symptoms”.Waste of an expensive copay and my afternoon sitting in the waiting room.

Please dont take your children to this next care. The Asian doctor on this clinic is the worst doctor i have ever seen in my life. He doesnt care about your kids being sick at all. He doesnt take children sickness seriously. He has bad attitude. Please take your kids different urgent care that cares your kids sickness. He will not diagnose and seat on his computer while your kid has 105 degree fever.

The receptionist was very helpful very friendly very nice quick and efficient. I seen the nurse for about 2 minutes as he sped his way through any questions he had the nurse practitioner or doctor did for the most part the same couldnt figure out what was wrong with me it seems that this next care facility is only a referral Place theyd referred me to get a chest x-rays gave me some cough syrup gave me no answers for my illness. I would have thought I would have gotten something out of it the fact that they had no x-ray machine there no other testing equipment I never knew maybe thats what Urgent Care was Ive been to one before and it was never this fast and uninformed. I would have had to go to another facility and pay more money for Texas rays pay for prescriptions which that would have been a gaming anyway. That was probably the biggest waste of a copay I have ever had

It was easy to sign in staff was very friendly and concerned they told me it was a hour wait they called me back in 30 mins it was a in and out process and the nurses was excellent Thank you all for maken it super easy keep up the good work !! ✨✨✨✨✨

Kind and patient staff, speedy service. E were hardly there an hour, even though I didnt have an appointment. Very well organized.

Went in late at night, obviously not feeling great. Had insurance coverage however the lady at the front desk said it was showing “inactive.” I was told my 15 minute appointment (which was actually misdiagnosed) was over $500. I said my insurance is active and I shouldn’t have any patient responsibility. They wouldn’t let me leave without taking my credit card. They acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me a “discount.” Turns out they signed me up for a cash pay program. I asked for the claim information, diagnosis codes, CPT codes, and TIN so I could turn it into my insurance company. They gave me half of that data. Come to find out I cannot submit the claim because NextCare is IN NETWORK with my insurance company. I called billing and explained the situation and they told me they would take it up to a supervisor. Never heard anything. Called back. I was told they would take it to the clinic manager. I have heard nothing. I asked if my insurance card was on file…nope. So funny thing is that I provided my photo ID and my insurance card, yet only my ID was scanned in. “No evidence of insurance” which I find suspicious because somehow they “checked my insurance and determined it was inactive.” Avoid going here. They will take money and refuse to refund it even after I had my insurance call to tell them directly that my insurance was ACTIVE. Very disappointed in this place and will not return.

Very quick if you have an appointment. I am here as an exchange students and given the fact I was rather clueless how this works. It went pretty well. The doctor Mickey is a good listener and staff attitude is very professional.

I have never been to urgent care. I thought it would be complicated, like the ER at the hospital. I was wrong. I was registered pretty quickly. I was triaged and seen by the doctor on staff pretty quickly and very thoroughly. It wasnt rushed at all, just very efficient. I was swabbed for covid and strep. I got my negative results as well. Even before I left the clinic, I got a text message from my pharmacy stating that my cough meds were ready. Now that is great service! Its not the prettiest clinic, but I got exactly what I needed and service with a smile.

The office staff was nice. The NP wasn’t super helpful. I ended up going to my primary care the next day to get the medication I needed. The NP here seemed lazy and could care less about how I felt. Provided no real solution options to my issue.

Dont bother booking if you need xrays. They have one technician and his schedule changes. They waited to tell me this even though I made an appointment for xrays. Receptionist was not helpful. Did care if I came back.

The only problem was even with an appointment I had to wait an hour. Otherwise my care was outstanding. I went in coughing, wheezing, & shallow breathing. I left with no wheezing & being able to take deep breaths after treatment. Yay!

I want to say best customer service when I walked in and Dr. that seen me was caring and listen to my issue . Friendly and very respectful. Recommend to anyone.

Nurse practitioner was pleasant, knowledgeable and provided great service. She enlightened me on the adverse effects of overusing antibiotics which I am prone to do. I was properly treated and in a timely fashion

Came to this location extremely sick. I did an online reservation so that I wouldn’t have a long wait in the waiting room. Told the nurse I had trouble breathing, body aches, chills, no appetite, and a fever. I explained I had been feeling like this for 4 days straight. Flu and covid test was administered and both came back negative, my temperature was also taken and I indeed had a fever but was told it’s only moderate. Tara (FNP) comes back in and tells me they basically couldn’t find anything wrong and sent me on my way. She suggested if I still had any breathing problems to get a chest x ray done and that she would also give me a document for that. Well i didn’t receive that document after asking front reception twice and also didn’t receive any work note. They finally give me a work note but explained they only could give me a couple days which made no sense to me because I came in on a Friday and my off days are Saturday and Sunday so technically I would have to return to work the following Monday. Next day my fever reached 104, felt extreme pressure in my lungs, and the chills got severe so I decided to go to the ER. Had chest X-rays done and found out I have pneumonia. This urgent care did absolutely nothing for me but take $161 for the office visit smh. One good thing I will mention is that the facility was clean and the young lady at the front desk who checked me in was pleasant.

I booked my appointment online. There was very little wait time. Staff was pleasant. Overall, I would recommend coming here.

Ive been going to the same NextCare on 18 Street in Thomas for years. They are good and fast and always treat their patience with their best attitude and health. I will continue to go there and I will continue to send other friends and family there also.

Amanda (physician) was very attentive and kind. She listened and made sure to provide premium patient care. I scheduled an appointment and didn’t have to wait too long.

Dr does not even read chart or tests already done prior to walking into room and then doesnt even diagnose the main reason we went there. After I told her to check the problem again she said she would prescribe medication for both me and my son and when I get to the pharmacy she never sent anything for my son. Complete waste of time and incompetent lack of schooling she did. Just go to your primary Dr or er. Do not recommend. Lisa Peter was the Dr. Smh.

Very clean, very short wait time for a Saturday evening. Staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and even though I ended up having to go to the emergency room to get my sliced thumb sewn up, Mickey Nguyen, Denise, and all the staff that treated me were wonderful. Thank you so much for listening to me and being very careful not to hurt me more. You guys are a cut above the rest! Definitely sharpened my awareness… the whole place and staff seem to be Cut from a different cloth, really..won’t be using any other urgent care. Patient for life!

Everyone was very friendly and professional. I did not have to wait very long. It was clean and easily accessible. Only complaint: I could do without the grunge rock music playing in the lobby ...didnt help my headache.

Wait is not too bad especially with appointment, and staff is great, but site not equipped for urgent care. No on site lab or ct scan for instance. So if you really do need urgent care you will be sent to er. Might as well go there directly. And save the time and money.

Booked a appt to be seen in office for my daughter and went in the doctor didn’t even take his time to check her and asked him he was able to check her rash cause I did mention in in the booking what she needed to be seen for and he said he couldn’t that I would have to schedule another appointment for that like really very frustrating waited an 1 just to be seen just to tell me that he can only check one thing never heard of that before if I can give a zero star I would

Made an appointment and ended up up going early as a walk up. They saw us pretty quick. I was seen and got everything I need to get back to good health

Very positive experience, PCP listened, was clear, didnt use ageist young fellow appelation, and best of all did not hide behind a laptop and type but dealt with me directly...felt like traditional good care no longer available in increasingly impersonal medical settimgs.

The nurse that took me back there was the only nice one & the young lady in the front , I have a infection in my mouth , & they only provided A BAG OF FROZEN PEAS . Lol i thought u was being prank & ANDY MILLINAKIS was gonna come in and be like jokey joke hahahahaha . & I had to go back twice just so they can send my antibiotics! , I would rather wait 4 hours in the emergency then to EVER go back lol

On a Saturday called around noon, took my name booked appointment 2:15 all notifications came by phone almost immediately. Checked in on line, quick check in, quick little check up in person with notes, next was exam, done.Helps to have medications list to give them, saves time. Good job everyone Thank you

We had such a great experience here, especially with the P.A Christy Lacey. She was able to calm down my boyfriend as he was getting 4 sutures, a tetanus shot and just walk him through everything she’s doing. Very professional and was able to keep the mood light. Incredible care received from Christy.

My visit to NextCare went well. I didnt have to wait very long to see the Dr. Everybody I talked to was very pleasant. All in all it was a quick appointment.

The place was spotless; the assistants were polite and nice. I had a scheduled appointment, and they took me back on time. He took my information, and the nurse was very personable and friendly. The doctor came in within five minutes and thoroughly examined my injuries. He gave me options, remedies, and suggestions. Also, I have a follow-up with my PC. He felt I might have another health issue that I might need my PC to address besides my injuries. I would highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you all for the services that you all practice and the great interaction with the patients who come to you for their care/injuries. I gave them a four star because they did not have an X-ray Tech on duty. I dont think its their fault, but I contacted other urgent care, and they also did not have an X-ray Tech. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

They told me it was gonna be an hour and a half wait it took three hours. Just be prepared.On top of that - I just got a bill for $111 even though I paid my $50 co-pay, because the provider that saw me for two seconds and DID NOTHING is not in the network!!!!

Next care urgent care. Has always put fourth very professional health services. Im completely satisfied and trust there medical care. I would specifically like to recognize the facilityof 1701 E. Thomas rd. Good job . Next care urgent care.

Most amazing staff ever! Right when walk in, the receptionist, the M.A., and the doctor. All amazing. I got six stitches, and I am not gonna lie yall. I was nervous. I really dont like going to urgent cares. BUT, these people are were on top of everything, the visit went smooth and fast. I highly recommend this place, this staff, to everyone. I really cant thank you all enough.

There nothing less than one star otherwise I would give them that. I visited next urgent care on Thursday night, waited two hours to see a doc, coz I had a really bad pain on my knee. Finally saw the doc, he said that he sent pain medication to the pharmacy. I waited 12 hours, the next day I went to pick my med they nothing has been sent to them. I contacted the office, the lady told me that they sent the med to other frys pharmacy, I said, give the location so I can pick it up there, she said that she was gonna call back in ten minutes another day passes. I called them again on Saturday and spoke with a Amenda, she was so rude and said that she would send a message to doc. I finally give up. Do not waste your time to go there.

Front desk not very friendly or personable. The doctor was very good and fast. It was quite a long wait to get back there to see her though. Referred me for elbow x-rays. She wrote a recommendation for me to see my general practitioner about it.Then had to go through all kinds of nonsense with NextCare office giving my general practitioner permission to see the elbow x-rays... Even though I signed a release including her name.It took about an hour and three different phone calls to get next care to give permission for my general practitioner to see the x-rays.I was literally telling them that the NextCare doctor recommended that I see my general practitioner about my elbow.Eventually I had to ask for the office manager and she made it happen fairly quickly. But not until after I went through an hour of nonsense on the phone with them.

It was amazing. I am from out of town and needed late night urgent care. The front desk staff was pleasant. The provider Christy was the absolute best. She was kind, caring and very understanding. I had my sciatic nerve act up and had to be in Phoenix for the week for a conference. It was Monday and I still had to make it through Friday plus fly back home. She was very sympathetic and have me what I needed so I could make it through the week and get home.Your office made an out of towner feel welcome!!! I would highly recommend this place.

Very easy to schedule a same day appointment but it would be nice if it actually started on time. Something that should have taken 10-15 minutes took over an hour. It felt like the staff forgot about me.Also they ended up giving me medical advice that, once I consulted with my GP, ended up being wrong.Dont waste your time or money here

I came in to the urgent care as an out-of-townn patient they were courteous, efficient, and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommend!

Very informative. Very professional clean atmosphere and punctual with Determining the problem I have with my skin allergy. They listened to me when I informed them of my past skin allergy outbreaks and gave me the necessary medication to relieve my problems. I am content and will be back if I need to be seen again for any health issues.

So I make an appointment for my daughter because shes in pain she has infected ingrown toenail. We are 15 minutes early. Just to be told its going to be a long wait. I asked about our appointment and I was told ITS NOT A REAL APPOINTMENT ITS KIND OF A PRE-REGISTRATION I told them well it says appointment. I was told WE DONT DO APPOINTMENTS HERE. This was the whole point I made an appointment so my daughter wouldnt be waiting in pain at this place. So if you actually want to be attended to just show up without an appointment its the exact same for everyone. Or better yet go to cigna or another place where the honor appointments.

I made an appointment ahead of time online. It was an easy check in and appointment. Quick diagnosis and I was in and out of there without issue. I recommend it.

I went in today because I fell and injured my foot. Everyone from the girls upfront to the nurse who took my vitals, to the Doctor who helped me were kind, gentle, and took great care of me.

Went there for an emergency with my 3 year old. Not too many people were in the waiting room and they got us in very fast. They took care of us quickly and all went well. They did a good job.

I dont normally write reviews but I feel like after the experience I had yesterday, I should... while there were a few mishaps w my appt yesterday, its no fault of the staff. Everyone was so kind and considerate. I really felt like the staff went above and beyond. :)

Had very strange and unpleasant experience by visiting this location and NextCare Urgent Care for the first time. It’s due to unprofessional front office employee and it’s sad they’re the face of the business!

People were nice, I saw a doctor rather quickly and the x ray technician was very nice. When I left one of the nurses in the back who hadnt talked to me made sure I was feeling better before I left.

I would just like to leave my thank you and I appreciation for the doctors care yesterday on my visit. She was a PA. I don’t know her name but I just want to thank her on the Thomas and 16th St. location. She caught something that was going on and called 911 and got me straight to the hospital. They hook me up took care of me. Thank you once again, staff.

I went to the one on 1701 E Thomas Rd and the doctor Mick and nurse Jasmine treated me with respect and care the whole staff and experience was excellent.

Provider was extremely slow and had no sense of urgency for an urgent care. The place wasnt even busy had an appt at 10 didnt get seen til 12. Staff seem to be procrastinating. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

I didn’t have to wait very long. It was streamlined and they addressed my injury quickly. Polite and efficient.

Provider was very rude during our visit. We came in with legitimate illnesses and requested meds that we prefer and were shot down by our provider with a terrible attitude and rudeness

I received excellent patient care services from the urgent care on Thomas and 20th street. From the moment I arrived the administrative staff were friendly and responsive. I was experiencing shortness of breath and swelling in my throat related to an asthma attack. I maybe waited maximum of 10 mins before taken to the back (honestly based on what I was experiencing it felt like an eternity but even then in comparison to other urgent care places and ER hospitals this visit was prompt). The medical assistant was also kind as she/they checked my vitals and performed screening assessments. The wait to see the PA, who was also very nice, thorough and efficient, maybe came in 10 mins later. They were able to get me the support and medicines I needed to breath again. I don’t often write feedback, however this experience was one of a kind and the staff was very helpful; they deserve to know that their caring attitude is making a big difference. Keep up the excellent work! Thank you for the quality care I received. (Note to corporate: I hope you can link my visit and commend your staff that worked that night; I went on a Tuesday night after 9pm). Oh! I didn’t have an appointment.

Ive gone to a few urgent cares and they wouldnt accept my son because he didnt have access but I know he did and my son is five and the access ID number that I would give him said it was invalid and I called NextCare urgent and they looked it up and they said bring him and the other urgent cares wanted a copay of $200 and to be honest I didnt have it I told them I have $100 on me and they said no take them to the emergency room because it would take them there even if he didnt have access or has access

I was able to get in to see the provider within 10 minutes of my appointment time. My issues was quickly diagnosed and I was out in about an hour after receiving in clinic tx. A very easy experience overall.

Came in with shortness of braeth. Was left in a room for 30 minutes. After being seen all they could do was recommend i go to ER.what is their actual purpose?

I came because I have had high fever, nausea, diarrhea, stomachache and headaches since last night. I am pretty sure is because I ate chicken broth that was very old and the symptoms started after the food made digestion. The personnel are good people, but when I told them all of this they made me take flu and COVID tests, which came out negative (oh surprise…). I feel I just wasted my time, money and that I was not listened for the things I came for. I needed to get check for food poisoning but still they disregarded all I said and why I came for in the first place.

Once we saw the nurse practitioner, the experience was fast and easy - about 10 minutes. She was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, it took two hours to even be seen with an appointment scheduled prior in the day online. The front office said they’ve been short staffed for a while now. If that’s truly the case, they shouldn’t be taking appointments online if they know that they won’t be keeping them.

Had an appointment for 2:30p and didn’t get seen by the Dr until 5pm, which was only after I went out to speak to the staff who seem to have forgotten I was there. As soon as I asked I was seen and released within the next ten minutes, as I was only there to get a booster shot.

The exam back bathroom was old and didnt feel very clean. The staff was amazing but my wait time was really long

I was told my insurance couldn’t be verified so I would just be charged a random amount (that was actually significantly more than last visit), and the fact that this won’t be reflected with my insurance billing concerns me.The window sills that are fixed at the tops of the back of chairs are dusty and dirty- my child that turned around in her seat to look out the window had the opportunity to breathe in the filth.Once checked in, we waited two hours (it was midnight when we were finally being SEEN- not arrived. Midnight is when they close) to see a physician assistant who shrugged their shoulders and repeated “I don’t know” for roughly 20 minutes. There was no urgency and I had to end our visit by saying thank you and getting up to leave so we didn’t have to sit awkwardly while being told “I don’t know” to longer.

The entire staff was super sweet! The wait time was super quick before I was able to get back to see the doctor and she was AMAZING! Doctors who are able to just look at you and know what’s wrong not just based on their knowledge alone but also due to personal experience and being transparent about it, it always makes the experience more personal and in my case less embarrassing! Walking into a doctors office with an eczema breakout on my face wasn’t easy but the entire staff was really nice about it!

I was seen in less than 15 minutes of being checked in. The staff is always polite and respectful! I drive 30 minutes to this location because I am always heard when I go in, unlike the competition that is less than 3 minutes from my house. The PA last night was sure to explain the possibility of a false positive on a test I was going to get done, which I was okay with. I appreciate that he went along with my wishes on it. I highly recommend this location.

I went in yesterday with an abcess in my mouth. The doc assistant was very nice and understanding. However she neglected to call my meds in. I went to the pharmacy and they didnt have my order so I went home. This morning I went back to the pharmacy and still not was send. The pharmacist had to call your office himself and was able to get my scripts. I went all night in pain with the swelling getting worse. No I dont think Id refer at this point.

Went in middle of January 2025, we got a Short petite Physician Assistant....felt like shes barely getting her experience in the field. My Family member has not been feeling well for over 6 days and Dr didnt even give Us a Diagnosis. She did however order an Xray and prescribed medication. Next time I might just drive further East than stop at this location. Been a patient here before but other Physicians were way more helpful than the lady we were assigned to. Will post name later when I have the paperwork..... Physician Assistant is Christy Lacey, she lacks communication skills and to be a bit more thorough with her patients. I dont recommend this clinic to anyone, if youre feeling bad just go to Another Urgent Care or your PCP.

The care was great and I would go again. The only thing that bothered me is the exam rooms and the lobby were filthy dirty. Especially the exam room as I was sitting there waiting for the doctor to come in the sides of the exam room table looks like it had never been wiped Down. Also, they did not clean the blood pressure cuff in between patients. The staff was great very nice accommodating however housekeeping really needs to do a super scrub down on each exam room.

The doctors treat you like a human. Not just a patient, they made me feel comfortable.

We came here for a laceration, and they said they would be able to help us do the stitches we needed. We dont have insurance and opted to join one of their insurance services to keep out-of-pocket cost lower, because she told me that would be all wed have to pay. Once they said they could perform the stitches, we waited almost 1 hour until then told they couldnt do the stitches and referred us to the ER. I made sure to ask twice when we left if there were any other charges and was assured twice that there wouldnt be, until we got the bill in the mail that was almost the same exact cost as the ER visit where they performed the procedure. I was straight up lied to to my face- FOUR TIMES. We were completely taken advantage of and Id never ever send anyone to a NextCare again, especially this location.

Even though nextcare was busy I got in fairly quickly and was treated and out the door. Excellent service.

My family was visiting from out of state and had to take our 3 year old here for a suspected ear infection. All of the staff was so friendly and the PA Christy was especially amazing with our daughter who was upset while being checked out. Highly recommend this urgent care!

Came here from out of state when I was traveling for work. Was in and out in about an hour as a walk-in, I couldnt believe it! Staff was kind and efficient. Facility was clean and had a lot of parking. There is even a pharmacy (not connected with NextCare) next door making it very convenient. Overall I had a great visit for the unfortunate situation I as in and they took very good care of me. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back again.

First of all, the wait time was ridiculous, i made an appointment for 8:30pm(arrived at 8:10pm) and didn’t end up getting home till 11pm. The provider was a joke(DR. Mickey Nguyen)his “check up” was literally 5 minutes! we waited over 2 hrs for him to say my Son was fine and he wasn’t FINE. We ended up getting a second opinion from his pediatrician (next day) and he told us my son actually has a ruptured ear drum. He gave us medication and actually treated us correctly. Beyond disappointed on the lack of attention, care and service we received. Definitely a zero for overall care and a zero for what you would call an “urgent care service”. Please GO to the ER, if it’s an “emergency” you’ll wait about the same or go somewhere else!

I have been to this Urgent Care multiple times, but my visit today was so great it reminded me to finally leave a review! Staff has always been pretty nice, and today they checked me in quickly and took me back quickly. The NP I saw, Tara, listened to my concerns and anxiety and did not make me feel rushed even though they currently only have one provider working. Thank you Tara! Seriously! Great place to go when youre feeling sick.

Walked in with a nonstop bleeding injury late in the evening and no other UCs were open in the area. They took me back immediately, even though they were extremely busy, to help me and provide medical care. They felt it was best I be seen at an ER, which I did, and turns out I have multiple fractures. I would definitely return for any urgent care needs in the future. Thank you!

My visit with NextCare urgent care wasn’t great due to the wait time even with the appointment I made for 4:30pm and didn’t get to be seen until 6pm and waited another 30 minutes sitting in the room for the doctor to check me.

Have you ever had a negative experience with a doctor? I did, my recent experience at this clinic was unpleasant and I would not recommend it to anyone. The doctor I saw ( Dr. Nguyen ) had terrible bedside manner and spoke negatively about the testing kits available in the office for my symptoms. This made me lose confidence in the clinic and the doctors ability to provide proper care.My fiancé visited the same clinic a few days before me with the same symptoms and was provided with medication and a solution. However, when I visited the clinic, I was not given any antibiotics and was told that my symptoms would probably go away on their own. This lack of care and attention is unacceptable and made me feel disregarded as a patient. In conclusion, based on my experience, I strongly advise against visiting this clinic. I hope that my experience can serve as a warning to others seeking medical care.

Some of my family members and I have been to this Urgent Care in multiple occasions. Today I had to pay them a visit so I am finally going to leave a review. In both of my visits this year the staff has been always nice and helpful. Today was no different, I loved seeing Tara Mahoney today. She listened to my symptoms and concerns and made me feel comfortable to speak to. Lindsay McMinn who I saw less than a month ago was also very personable and professional. I have been treated with kindness and patience each visit and I deeply appreciate that. The only thing I will say needs some work are the wait times. Specifically when you have booked an appointment and it takes an extra 15 to 20 minutes, sometimes even more for them to see you. Other than that, great place for you to go when youre feeling unwell.

I went with my 18 year old son. They would not let me back with him. He had a fever 102.1. They gave him Tylenol and sent him on his way. No answers at all.

I had the weirdest interaction at this appointment. They called me as I was already driving to my appointment to tell me that they can’t do a TB test and a physical in the same appointment, which didn’t make any sense to me. I still went with it and told them they could just do the physical and refill some of my prescriptions and I would just make another appointment for the next day for the TB test. Then when I get there, all the staff is so confused. They don’t know how to do a physical and they don’t have any paperwork that would say that I went there and got a physical. Literally all they were able to do was refill two prescriptions for me. I left went 5 miles down the road to a CVS minute clinic that did the physical and TB test for me as a walk in the same day. The NP at CVS was SO nice and understanding. She did everything with no issues. I can’t say my interactions here were bad, it was just confusing. Especially as a nurse who’s in school to become an NP and getting these things done to fill school requirements, I don’t understand what was so confusing for the NP taking care of me at NextCare because I’m sure she had to do all these same things to be an NP. Obviously I’m not coming back to this urgent care. I don’t even know what the issue was, but it’s not going to happen again to me.

I was in Phoenix for work for a few days and, of course, woke up on day 2 with a sore throat. Could it be? Might it be… Strep?!I was a walk-in and was seen within an hour of arriving. I got in at 6:45 and was en route home from the pharmacy, Z-pac in hand, by 8:30. The NP on staff was super friendly and helpful. The facility was a bit run down, but who cares about the environment when you’re getting quality medical attention? Very very grateful for this place!Oh, and yes, it was strep.

I was seen after a few minutes. My provider was professional and thorough.

I went in on a Thursday around 11-11:30pm. There wasnt any other patients. So I got in immediately. I was having horrible pain in my L abdominal area. The NP said I had a pretty nasty uti (urinary tract infection). They gave me an injection of some strong antibiotics so they could start working right away. Everyone was really nice. I didnt feel rushed in any way. But I was in & out in about 30 - 45 mins tops. Great experience....

Care was pretty good. I couldn’t remember whether or not the nurse/phlebotomist used a clean/new needle on me to take my blood but my friend was there and watched everything he did and remembered everything. She said it was a clean needle and it was even one of those single use ones where you have to manually twist off the cap to expose the needle right before use and taking the blood and you can’t put the cap back on. And she saw him take the cap off right before taking my blood. Good thing my friend was there watching his every move because I get anxiety with things like that. I do remember he immediately put the needle in the sharps container as soon as he pulled it out so I just have to hope and trust that’s where all the needles go each time and that he got the one he used on me from a sterile package. He was very swift and focused with everything he did though and he was professional so that also gave me comfort.

I called in the morning for an appointment.They said they do not take walkins so they scheduled me at three thirty p m. So I arrived.I did not leve that place untill five forty five.I set back in the patients room 2 hours The nurse practitioner finally came in. See me for 5 minutes. They gave me a Prescription, but it was too late to fill it because my pharmacy closed at 6 oclock. That was my first time there and it will be my last time. They should not call themselves a urgent care. As I set in that room 2 hours I could not imagine why they would just leave me in there.

I went in for a gauche on my head and was scared to go in the night before so I had so much dry blood. Kristen was sooooo sweet and funny. She helped clean me up and gave good advice. I appreciate the staff too. They were nice.

Used to be our families go to. Recently went down hill. Advertises walk-in and X-ray, but never have enough staff for either. Wait 30 -60 mins after you get taken back to see provider for 3 mins. Wait another 30 mins to receive exit paperwork. Staff is usually unfriendly and unwelcoming. Providers are usually very knowledgeable but the rest just sucks. Other next cares dont seem to have the same problems from my experience

My experience at this specific location has always been a positive one not only do I leave with solutions to my issues I always leave with confidence that things are going to get better great doctors great PAs great customer service. If I had to pay out of pocket for a office visit here I would have no problem with it.

Possibly the absolute worst customer service ever. I booked my appointment online, thinking this would get me to see a nurse faster. NOPE! You are better off walking in with no appointment, and it helps if you are Hispanic. My appointment was set for 6:07 p.m.; I arrived 10 minutes earlier, as recommended. An hour later, I watched three walk-ins with no appointments, and they were seen before I was. I asked what the hold-up was and was told by the dumb*** receptionist they were “printing my paperwork.” I asked, are you guys using a printing press? Never have I ever heard of anything taking over an hour to print. Then she said they had to take in walk in patients first because they were emergents. So it wasn’t the printing!?! Mind you I came in for strep and had a temperature of 102. I went to Banner Urgent Care and was seen within 15 minutes and the staff there was incredible.

Its was a quick visit come to see what was going on I was not feeling well the receptionist lady was super nice very helpful and nurse that was getting all the information was very helpful. But the doctor did not seem to care or to help with my symptoms I told her that I know my body better than anyone … don’t came here it’s all a scam

Ive had 2 frustrating visits. For both I scheduled appointments and had to wait over an hour to be seen. The second one did not accomplish anything. I am still sick with no outcome. The test results were delivered by Labcorp a while back, and I am still waiting for a phone call from the clinic even after having contacted the main office. I would recommend going elsewhere. This location seems to not be staffed appropriately (too many MAs and not enough providers) and the overall clinical care is very delayed for an urgent care setting.

From the time I was interviewed by the front desk person up to seeing the doctor was amazing. The young lady that helped me process my insurance was very courteous, very thoughtful, very very professional lady that took my vitals was also very professional, and the doctor was awesome. I called about 2 pm. They had nothing until 9:30pm appointment. I show up around 9:15 they said they had nothing with my name but theycould accept me as a walk in. Not acceptable I waited all this time.i couldve gone as walk in 6 hrs ago. I hate incompetent people n liars. Arrived 30 mins before my scheduled appointment, checked in and eventually they dismissed my scheduled appointment & check in time and allowed others after me to be seen. I had to check with receptionist to see why I wasn’t being called. Didn’t get seen until a whole hour after my appointment time.

Ive had such a hard time getting test results back from them. First of all, its impossible to get the actual office on the phone. You have to call the main line. Ive spent hours combined on the phone doing that. After being told 3 times that the office would call me back, I decided to go in and stay until I had answers. After about 40 minutes I was finally informed that somehow my sample was LOST and never received by the lab. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the provider I worked with from here, Mickey, was amazing. He worked with me on the re-test and was kind, understanding, professional, and thorough. Hopefully I actually get my results this time!

Terrible service!!! TERRIBLE!!! I booked my appointment for 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:10pm... it is 5pm and my name had not been called yet. I checked with the receptionist and she said they forgot to check me in. I wasted 2 hours of my time waiting for a service they did not provide me. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!

The office was clean and tidy! While I was in office they felt with an aggressive patient. The front office lady’s were awesome with handling the patient. Have an upper respiratory infection and was told to buy over the counter medication instead of prescribing me antibiotics.

I made an appointment for noon. They had me seen by a provider, medicated and out of there by 2:13pm. That’s a quick turn around because other places would have had way longer wait times. The staff were also very friendly.

Terrible. I tested positive for Covid at home, and went to this urgent care to get started on paxlovid as soon as possible. I have cancer, and am immunocompromised. After I explained my situation to the medical assistant I could hear them talking about me in a very unprofessional manner outside my door. 30 minutes later Mickey Nguyen came in and told me that he would not write me a prescription because I have cancer. THE WHOLE REASON I WANTED IT IS BECAUSE I HAVE CANCER. The whole experience was traumatic. Paxlovid is approved as standard care for cancer patients. My oncologist of course called it in for me the next day. What a waste of my time and $50 copay. I wonder how many other patients are given bad information at this place?

I was asked to wait in my car because I had tested positive for Covid on a home test. I finished the 9 pages of intake in my car using my phone, which I had made sure was on for calls and texts. I did make one call with my insurance nurses line that ran long. By the time I was done I checked for a text and had missed the one that invited me back, 50 minutes earlier. One text. I don’t know why or how I missed the verbal alerts. Usually texts have one immediately and than about a minute later. Maybe it’s my new iPhone. I went in and there were a lot more sick people so I had to wait there longer. The people were pretty nice and the doc discouraged paxlovid treatment in a way I could understand. She also let me know the CDC guidance is to stay home for 5 initial days of symptoms. I really was just trying to see if paxlovid was right for me but I don’t want to spread Covid so I’ll call in and let my workplace know the doc wants me to stay home awhile. So just the waiting in the car longer than projected. The last time I was at a different nextcare, but I was trying to get Covid tested then too, that was far worse. But that was a different place in Mesa. I had to leave with a wounded sinus that couldn’t tolerate how far they wanted to jab me with the swab. This was much better. The test was gentle and confirmed I had Covid. Tons better than the previous one. But they can improve on the alerting system when they send people out to their cars.

They all are super nice and definitely hear you out!! ✨ My visits are always so fast too and the doctor gets straight to the point!! 🩺🧐 I definitely would recommend you guys checking it out! They accept MOST insurances, they allow walk ins and also have the option to do a virtual visit if you cant make it in!! ✨ 10/10!👏👏👏

Me and my wife had a confirmed IVF appointment for Friday February 2 2024 at 9:30am. We got there and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and said theyre wifi was down so they couldnt pull up the appointment. We asked why didnt you call us? They said their phones were down. Then 2 seconds later their phone rings.

Ive been here four times and each time depending on what time you get there youre in and out pretty quick . The staff has always been friendly and helpful. the doctors are relaxed to where you dont feel liketheyre rushed to get you out. they were really good today. Only thing I dont like is the mask thing stop with the mask and having to fill out all your information over again each time you go in.

I was able to set an appointment online. All connections were available online and I was able to stay in my car until they were able to test me for COVID. The nurse and the Doctor were friendly and helpful and took care of all my questions.

Went in on a Sunday. The woman at the front desk was cheerful, helpful and polite.The MA & PA were awesome. Professional, informative and polite.Best service I’ve had at an urgent care facility. Only downside was it was stuffy inside but there was ann option to sit outside as well.

We were greeted professionally, given masks and assistance with downloading the paperwork. Wait time was very reasonable and the staff and female doctor were very thorough and competent. I felt the offices were clean and it was a great experience. I will definitely return here in the future!

This place is a mess. Showed up at 7:40pm for a 7:45pm appointment, didnt see the doctor until almost 9:30pm. I understand the long wait, things happen. But the lack of care and inability to talk(on the phone) to the office you were seen at is very disappointing. Had to show up, was basically given no explanation, just they should have called. Recommend going somewhere else. Awaiting my canned answer. Everyone on staff in the back is excellent, the doctors were good at presenting options and very helpful. Only reason for two stars. Horrible place if anything goes wrong after. Here I sit, missing a prescription for an infection and the office just keeps getting it wrong.

The NP, Kristin, was amazing. So friendly and efficient. They were very busy but she was calm and courteous. I was in so much pain from slicing my finger. I was about to pass out multiple times and she made sure I was safe and distracted me from it all. Wish I had her as a routine NP! She was amazing!

I’m grateful this place is open nights and weekends. After struggling with an acute flare up, the physician was very helpful in diagnosing and making great recommendations for moving forward. More so than the emergency room the week prior. Staff was very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend.
