Having this service has been awesome, especially living in a state like Nebraska where there is not always the best healthcare options for LGBT+ people. It is super convenient and super easy, too! And with it being completely free, it is a no brainer. I have been informing everyone this is relevant to and all of my medical practitioners I see about this so they can share it with their other patients as well. Thank you, MISTR!

Easy, quick, friendly, mostly painless (except when you swab yourself). I’ve gotten prep through my PCP for years and only done bloodwork. Such an intuitive and in depth process. And all from home no visits to the doctor!!

I’ve been using Mistr for about 3 years now, and have never had any single issues. They send my scripts to my home before I ever run out of my current script. They send the at home kit tests fast and process them fast. They are very quick to respond on their site whenever I may have any questions and they use the most accurate and up to date testing so you know your results and are confident in their accuracy. Didn’t try at all to help me get the non generic medicine that I HAVE BEEN TAKING ALREADY. Every other doctor I have been to has had no problem getting it. Will not be using their services anymore.

So far everything is good except the blood test portion of testing. Both times that I have submitted my samples results have come back as insufficient though I have been extremely careful to follow instructions. For that portion of the test from now on I would prefer to do in person.

Mistr makes it super easy to get prep. Medication is send discreetly and directly to me and I dont have to worry about remembering to go to the pharmacy. The video visit with Dr. Funsch was easy and he answered any questions I had. They handled all the insurance forms so I basically just did the at home testing, sent it back and got prep soon after! I cant thank MISTR enough got making this easy for everyone!

This company is a joke. When you do finally get to talk to a customer service representative, they don’t even let you explain the situation before talking over you and being completely rude. Yet they get on a power trip and “ban” people from their service when you try to continue asking questions because they feel threatened and hide behind a “zero tolerance policy”. So it’s ok to ban someone trying to point out errors but not get yourself fired for being rude and condescending to potential customers.

My prescription was delivered and stolen right off my front porch. I was so stressed to start the claim process but MISTR made it easy and was able to get more sent out within 1-2 days. Everyone encountered, from the Pharmacy to the customer service team, has been helpful and kind

The only negative experience is that they use Quest Diagnostics for their in-person lab testing. They have terrible customer service and are located 80 miles away from my home. You can test at home however. HeyMister does a fantastic job, no insurance hassles, and it’s all free of charge.

It’s a good company to get your medicine from. I like it cause it comes on time just like they said it will each month sometimes a little early but other than that nobody and the medicine really does help. Thank you for being out here for us people that needs to be safe From HIV aids and all that.

I come from the 60s and 70s which was wide open sexual play speaking in those years and then the 80s had and the bottom of my world fell apart friends were passing.. but I definitely was just scared like everybody else and this is fantastic today

This is literally the easiest thing ever. I went ahead and also signed up for doxyprep which you take if you are worried you contracted a std. I haven’t had to use it when I go a second refill. And I was able to easily let them know and they said they can hold the refills. And whenever I need them again I just let them know. Simple, easy, quick, oh and free prep!

So it’s been a easy process. I did an in-home test first didn’t like it and now I get my test done at Quest at no charge and I’ve even had a month when they had the computer interruption and Quest couldn’t help me. I went back a month later, I still had my Orders to take my blood. They took it and then I got the prescription about a week later it was fast. It’s a easy process. I have not had any problems.

I’ve had no problems with their service. They’re always on top of everything & have great communication. They let me know what’s going on every step of the way. My perceptions are always sent out early, just in case there’s a mail delay & I even get notifications of my shipping details. I recommend Mistr to any and everyone.

It started as a great experience but about 4 months ago things took a turn and declined very fast. No response, I was ignored way too many times, they are not serious about shipping your prescription (they say they did but they didnt), and certainly dont care based on their lack of response, delays, and mind you sometimes they send you a generic response despite having specific issues, so they dont even read most of the times. Stay as far away as you can. They may have been good before, but unfortunately not anymore.

Service started out great. Ive used them for a couple years. However the last delivery process was not good at all. I experienced a lot of non-responsiveness from the online chat where I was forced to wait for a doctor for over a week before I got my Rx filled. It definitely caused me to laps a few days.

This was a very easy experience, they send a test kit, as I recall it was four different testing methods. Prepaid shipping, a video chat with the doctor. And I received my meds within a few days. Highly recommend

I’m not sure if it’s a temporary issue or what. They used to be phenomenal, but lately, there have been some big hiccups. I ended up going two weeks without my meds because they were not reading my messages to them. It took me about 2 weeks and me calling and blowing up their emails to get attention. They still have not been able to explain to me where they failed at and will only give me generic answers. This last time they said it was time to ship, so I updated my address and then they said it was too early. Smh

This service is convenient as long as you arent in a hurry. the at-home testing was easy, but it took a month to get my consultation and UPS lost my package, adding a week to the wait time to get the meds. customer service can take a few days (one time, a few weeks) to respond. my main complaint is the lack of full STI panel (no syphilis) and the lab they sent my samples to sent back a false positive so my partner and I had to pay out of pocket for testing to confirm a negative. it is really nice to not deal with paperwork and zero costs for the meds, so I can deal with this for a while until my work life stabilizes and I can switch to a traditional doctor visit model

If you’re even contemplating doing MISTR, let me just settle it for you. DO IT!I passed out every time I went to the doctor to get my prep because I just cannot do blood draws. Never have been able to get through one conscious. Which is a terrible feeling and almost led me to quit prep. However, I then learned about MISTR.With MISTR, all you have to do is the finger poke which is so much better than the blood draw. The rest of the testing is swabbing and urine sample which is a walk in the park. The packaging is discreet and super informative.My insurance wouldn’t cover prep, so MISTR helped me get financial assistance. They did the majority of the work to get it done. My prep is free now! I even get Doxy Pep through MISTR too.It now takes just minutes of my life compared to the hours and agony of what it used to. It’s insane how quick and efficient the process is.I love modern day medicine and I LOVE MISTR!

The pharmacy they use has made getting the prescription difficult. Every month I have to verify my address at least 3 times. I was asked 3 times in 1 week by text and 2 messages through my profile on their website as well. I rather go to a doctors office at this point because its not simpler using them. Now they want me to call financial assistance without giving me a reason out of the blue. I think Im done with this company.

I use MISTR Prep prescription which I receive in the mail and I also received a kit so I can do my own lab work. My lab work specimens are mailed back to the.MISTR lab where they are processed and once the results are back, I received an email from my MISTR Doctor. You’ll get prep at some point, but the customer service is almost non existent. If they make a mistake on their end you’ll end up with no prep for time being and might take months. Better have a back up plan for no interruptions.

It’s been great overall. I’m always recommending this service to other people/ friends i know. I like that you can get prep and doxy in one place as well as free checkups. The only thing i don’t like is that doxy medication doesn’t come on demand as you want it; you either get three months worth of doxy/prep or just prep- but you gotta accept 3 months worth at a time! Other than that; still good. I give it 4.5 stars but i’ll round it up cause the service is free!

I have been waiting for months to receive my testing kit and have made numerous attempts to contact the organization through voicemail, their support line, and other channels, all without any response.It is unacceptable for an organization that deals with critical health-related services to operate with such poor communication and customer service. The lack of timely and effective communication undermines the seriousness of the health services they provide.Mistr should practice the same diligence in communication that they expect from their customers.

The receiving of my packages is an issue for me.shipping is an issue for me because the package is left out side my door, in all weather conditions. . It’s a light package left outside my door and frequently blows away. And neighbor thankful bring it to me. I usually can’t find my delivery.

It has been 2 months and I’m still waiting on my prescriptions. Horrible customer service; unclear and seemingly uncaring provider. I would encourage others to just go through their PCPs if your circumstances / insurance coverage allow.

I would say this is a great way to get PrEP. I pay nothing. Only thing that’s a little bit challenging is the home blood test. With a little bit of trial and you’ll get it. I definitely recommend them and really appreciate the telehealth doctor visits and mail order prescriptions. A top-notch company! Apart from having issues with the blood drop cards and having to do in person blood draws for the testing. And the rough start at the very beginning. I have not had any problems with Mistr.

Do not use this company because their customer service office is not reliable and dropped the ball in my case. They caused me great complications by not communicating timely with me until the last hour, when it was too late. Not a reliable company.

I never give bad reviews. Ever. I keep my mouth shut and deal, it this is different. Absolute hell getting gettin on prep with Mistr.Zero help from Mistr with insurance although they claim that they will help. Prescription got transferred to 4 different pharmacies. It’s been 6 weeks and still no prep. Also received an empty package that was supposed to be testing materials. Must do better. Peoples health MUST mean more than a number and a bunch of automated responses. Can someone please advise?

In my experience, Mistr has been good. Aside from a doctor whos not really responsive, I have no personal complaints. In contrast, I recommended Mistr to a friend interested in PrEP. They have given him a run around for the last two months and he has not heard back in over a month after they told him hed be getting PrEP soon and he has yet to hear back since then. Im very disappointed in this regard.

There customer service has taken a massive nosedive over the last few months. My last two blood tests were rejected and were done just as instructed and have always been done before. I then tried to get info on just going to a lab but wanted to speak to someone. They only have a message platform and after asking for a phone call three times over two weeks, nothing. I wanted the phone call because they will easily take 3-5 days to answer a a message resulting in more and more time without my meds. They are not a food delivery service. This type of customer service delays are irresponsible and could be life threating. In my case I am not 4 WEEKS without my meds. Finally had to move on. Do better!

My testing kit was shipped promptly. I sent it back promptly. They processed it promptly. After that, it was downhill. After weeks of waiting, and several messages that went unanswered, I was informed they prescribed me Descovy, which has no generic at this time and was OF COURSE denied by my insurance. Its been over a month now and I still do not have a prescription. The timeline of this process has been ridiculous, but the most frustrating part is the lack of communication. Questions sent through their message center go unanswered, and their chat option constantly says Our agents are not available at the moment. They advertise themselves as a time-saver and eliminating hassle. This has not been my experience.

I love the program and its easy to do at home and better yet free if you have health insurance coverage. The only thing I dont like is having to confirm my address every 4th week. Ive been at the address 25+ years, chances are this is probably where Ill be for life lol the housing market is terrible right now. I get some people dont have a home and every month theyre at a new location but I feel like once you confirm in the first message that your address has not changed then you shouldnt receive another message asking you to then confirm the address on file, its the same! Lol If they fix that, itll be perfect! 😉

Easy to use. I get two scripts via Mistr. You see a physician virtually. You can collect samples to mail into the lab (blood, urine, and two swabs) or you can go to a lab and have the samples collected there. If you take the DIY approach, for blood samples, you use a provided lancet to puncture a fingertip. You collect drops of blood on a card. You let the sample air dry and then bag it for return. Your lab results are reviewed by your doc and, assuming no contraindications, your script is issued. They work with a pharmacy who has connections with a foundation which endeavors to make the meds inexpensive or free. They are shipped to your door via UPS in a plain white bag for privacy. It is piece of cake! Highly recommended.

Terrible experience. They sent the testing kit promptly but after I received my results it was a complete standstill. I’ve messaged over a dozen times and left countless voicemails (I’ve never had someone answer). I receive a generic automated reply which shows they have little oversight.Don’t waste your time with a service that doesn’t communicate and doesn’t follow up. They never successfully sent my prescription in. I had to go back to my previous doctor. Good luck managing your health with mistr as your prep service. I wouldn’t risk it.

Mistr is responsible for the rate of new HIV cases reducing greatly! In a sense, Mistr is saving lives! I have been utilizing Mistrs services for almost 3 years. Everything is seamless, from intake to sexually transmitting infection (STI) regular testing, even to getting refills on pre-exposer prophylaxis (PrEP) medication, which reduces one from contracting HIV by 99.9%, even with an infected sexual partner. Their regular testing for STIs has also reduced the amount of cases of their occurance! Many qualify to get the medication free of charge, or at a greatly reduced cost. I cannot say enough great things about Mistr.

They dont have customers service where you can call and talk to a person, the number they have is only to leave a message but they never return your call is a waste to leave a message is really badEverything is by text and they always late to answer your text is really bad is frustrating.They should have someone to answer the phone and talk to a customer.

Ive been working with this facility for about a month now. IT IS NOT as simplistic and easy as they advertise. I still have not started medication and my insurance is saying they are simply waiting on a document from them (they have said for 2 weeks now they were sending it). Communication is all through an app and not the smoothest/most efficient.

Super slow response times and they make everything more difficult than it needs to be. Other sites offer the same service much faster and easier.
