I woke up with the worst sore throat and did not want to go to the ED. I Googled nearest Urgent Care and this center was one of the few open before 8 am. Through their online booking portal at around 7:13 am on a Wednesday, I was able to book an appointment for 7:40 am the same day. I was prompted to complete the registration process and check in while booking the appointment. The process was easy to follow and efficient. After completing the appointment and registration, I received a text to confirm my appointment. When I arrived at the clinic, around 730 am, the receptionist greeted me with a smile and had one page for me to complete. There were 2 others in the waiting room. I was in the back waiting to see the clinician at 740 am. The technician took my vitals and the initiative to swab my throat and nasal cavities before seeing the clinician. The clinician was thorough and helpful. I was out of the building before 8:20 am. This was by far one of the best urgent care experiences I have had. Thank you, In and Out Urgent Care!

This place has the best staff. The nurses are gentle at giving injections and the NP was kind and listened to all my issues. The NP took the time to explain everything to me to choose my options for treatment. Highly recommend this place and NP C. Mills

On December 26th, In and Out Urgent Care Lakeside diagnosed that I had acute pharyngitis and acute sinusitis. They gave me a shot and prescribed an antibiotic. I am doing much better today, after having a miserable Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. In and Out Urgent Care Lakeside is such a blessing! Yesterday was my fourth visit in 2024. I love being able to schedule an appointment at 7 a.m. or earlier during the week. The care is always first-rate and the place is always well-run and spotless. Highly recommended for urgent care. None better.

I frequently visit this location and the other one in Metairie as a veteran. However, my experience this morning was incredibly frustrating. I was having an allergic reaction and decided to come here instead of driving all the way to the city. Despite the urgency of the situation, they refused to see me, claiming I needed prior approval—something that isn’t true. This urgent care is clearly listed under our network of approved centers, as anyone can verify on the website.I even showed them how to confirm my insurance, but they still were no help. Feeling unwell and tingly, I had no choice but to leave and go to the ER. This isn’t the first time they’ve given me a hard time about verifying insurance, even though it’s such a straightforward process. I won’t be returning to this location.

This was a walk-in visit. The staff was extremely pleasant. The NP was honest and open. I was happy to be able to go in early morning (7am). Office was extremely clean, which is not always the case with urgent care facilities. If another medical situation comes up, I will definitely choose this location. I would recommend this provider.

The wait was short and the receptionist was nice and helpful when it wouldn’t take my insurance. (Heads up…if you have a Wellness plan and you are a first time patient they won’t cover it. It seems they would cover appointments after that. 🤷🏼‍♀️) The nurse practitioner was super nice and efficient and So easy to talk to!

Staff was very accommodating and patient. The nurse and nurse practitioner both answered all of my questions honestly and made sure I was taken care of. We were in and out in just under 30 minutes. Time might vary if there are more patients, but the overall experience was great. I really appreciated the staff that helped me and recommend this Urgent care for anyone in need.

I went in today for a sore throat, they took me right in. There was no wait, the clinic is super super clean. The front desk was very nice and professional. I filled out the paperwork and I got in right away to see the doctor assistant, who was very kind, and had a light hand doing the nose and throat swap. Then the nurse practitioner came in, and she was so sweet, she checked everything. I waited few more minutes, my test results were all good, they just gave a shot on the spot for pain relief, and I got to go home within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this urgent care it’s really in and out. The staff and the nurse were Amazing, their kindness is so hard to find these days 🙏🏼Side note: please avoid that urgent care on veterans next to Quest diagnostic, I went there first and they told me the wait was 2 hours even though nobody was there, and they were rude. Go straight to In and out and save your time, and feel better fast :)

Woke up with a severely sore throat. Painful to talk and swallow. Walked in to In and Out Urgent Care, checked in through the kiosk, filled out simple paperwork and received a message through the solv app with my spot in line. I was the next person up as the one before me had already been called. The staff was friendly and professional. Attentive to my needs and had me on my way as soon as possible. I would highly recommend them.

We stopped in New Orleans before heading out on a cruise and my husband and I ended up getting really sick. We didn’t want to ruin our Caribbean vacation so we stopped in to this Urgent Care. Tasha and Jamara were so welcoming and helpful. They got us in right away and Dominiece took excellent care of us. She got us all the meds we needed to fix our respiratory infections right up and still be healthy enough to go on our cruise. Without her compassion and excellent bedside manner, we might not have been so lucky. The entire team at this location was amazing and turned a terrible experience into a not so terrible one! ☺️

Called in the morning for an ECG/EKG test (no insurance). Promptly told by Lindsay that an appt. is available or walk in is also fine. Was told the upfront cost ($ 1XX) on the phone.I made an appt in the afternoon., got my ECG done, it was reviewed by the NP. NP also interpreted the results for me.Whole process lasted about an hour.Great location, great staff, very timely and was affordable.

I had a sinus infection and went to another urgent care two weeks ago but my symptoms still was there and strong. The doctor I saw was able to tell me why I was still feeling this way and gave me stronger meds. He also asked every question I had and I left feeling confident.

Went there after a pretty bad fall down stairs!! They were so wonderful! Patched and stitched me up. Definitely recommend this place!! FNP Charles Hill was so gentle and MA Christina was awesome!

Prescribed medicines I already take for back issues, I took said meds the night before I went to In/Out Urgent care. The PA was too scared to give me any comfort with extreme Rib pain after a very bad fall! Only offered condolences! I didnt know we looked for condolences, I thought we looked for relief, and Im not talking about narcotics! Simple, slow, relief, he prescribed enough acetaminophen to cook my liver! I want my copay back!!

This is the only urgent care I’ll go to. The receptionist, nurse, and doctor are always so helpful and empathetic. It must get old seeing sick people day after day, but they don’t show disdain. I really appreciate this location!

I was feeling a little run down, with a sore throat & ear pain, so I scheduled an appointment for after work and walked right in to the clinic. The receptionist was waiting for me and got me in to see the nurse practitioner immediately. He was thorough and precise with the exam. The entire thing took 30 minutes!

Luis Martinez, NP took care of me. He was kind, and so was the office staff. Had me feeling better by the next day. Would recommend.

In and Out….NP Martinez was amazing and compassionate and attentive. I called and was told I could be seen before 7am and I walked in they were alert, friendly and very welcoming. I was treated with respect and care and urgency. All my questions were answered and I left knowing I received the best treatment for my illness. For Urgent Care I will not go anywhere else.

The staff and nurse practitioner were very efficient. I was in and out with my daughter in 15 minutes. Everything was very clean and would recommend this location.

This place is very clean and very quick. We went 10 minutes before closing and they took us after another urgent care in the area turned us away because it was too close to closing time. The PA was very knowledgeable and kind and had a great bedside manner. The nurse and receptionist were also very friendly and happy to help even though they were probably ready to go home for the evening.

I had a scratchy throat last night.I woke up with a mild cough with phlegm.This was my first visit to this Urgent Care facility. I usually use one closer to my home that’s being renovated.I called In & Out Urgent Care and the lady that answered the phone was courteous and efficient.I was walking in the door 10 minutes later.I was walking out of the door 15-20 minutes after I arrived.The facility was ultra clean.The staff was prompt, friendly and also efficient.I’d recommend this Urgent Care.In the future, I’ll drive past my old facility to come here!!

Not the place I expected to be first thing in the morning but this location was open early at 630a, the check in process was easy and smooth. All of the staff were immaculate & provided the exceptional customer service. Loved the NP working that day and her staff made my visit feel as comfortable as possible!

I had a bad infection with pustules on my right ankle and since Im from out of town I needed a good clinic to help me treat it. I went to East Jefferson Urgent Care but they could not see me so I was thrilled to find In and Out clinic on Causeway Blvd and recieved immediate care. Louis my PA caretaker pierced my pustules (AKA bug boils) , dressed my ankle, and gave me 2 prescriptions. One was an for an antibiotic gel and the other Sephalexin an oral antibiotic. Im not well yet but Im getting better day by day and Im expecting to be fully over this soon. Thank you so much for all your kind help In and Out clinic.John

I woke-up early on Saturday morning with vertigo. I love how you can schedule an appointment online. I was in the exam room by 9:15. I was given good care, considering the nature of my ailment. The place is always spotless. This was my third time using in and out urgent care on N. Causeway near 17th by Lakeside. Highly recommended!

It was very efficient and accommodating from the moment I stepped inside the clinic. The space is very clean and organized. I was seen by the attending PA on time with excellent medical care. I will definitely return to this location in case of an urgent medical issue.

I had a painful big splinter under my finger nail. The Dr./N.P. was GREAT! It took some effort but he got all the wood out with minimal pain. (He did deaden/numb my finger). Staff was great, check in was easy. If I need medical service, Ill be back!

The staff was friendly upon my arrival, and Christy, the nurse, was kind & caring. And, the NP, Charles, was kind & thorough. He also explained Covid changes & what was needed to do & not do!

The lady behind the desk, Brittany was very good at explaining things about my insurance, she was Friendly and knowledgeable. I dont remember the nurse/paramedic mans name but he gave me a steroid shot, I am terrified of needles, but he did it so great, I didnt feel it at all. The doctor I saw was Dr. Jay Lenfant and he was great! I told him my symptoms, he checked out my ears, throat and glands, and quickly found what was wrong and in a jiffy, I was finished.I would definitely recommend this Urgent Care! Thank you all

The staff were friendly and professional. The Nurse Practitioner, K. Gill, was extremely thorough, asking all the right questions and even arranging further diagnostic testing at another location in order to properly diagnose my problem. I received a shot and a few prescriptions and felt relief with just one round of meds after suffering with a post-Covid cough and congestion for over a month. I’m so glad I went and am now on the road to recovery!

Best urgent care facility I’ve ever been to. A very short wait in a clean waiting room, staff and doctor (and/or nurse practitioner) were very thorough, competent, respectful, and kind. All of my questions were answered, and I wasn’t rushed by the nurse practitioner or any other staff member. I was prescribed the exact antibiotic for my UTI. As they promised, they called me back in 3 days to let me know results of the exact bacteria in my urine culture (I had a UTI). Useful information for me since it’s now part of my medical record. Thank you In & Out Urgent Care!

In and Out Urgent Care is the best! Scheduled appointment online - checked in - called back quickly - great and friendly staff - upper respiratory infection for me but the nurse practitioner sent some prescriptions to my preferred pharmacy and after sleeping much of the day I’m feeling a lot better!

This was on MLk day 2024. I can’t say how the actual medical treatment is here because I was turned away by the front desk. I’ve been treated before at the labarre location well I guess they changed their insurance policy. When I told the girl at the desk I was going to be paying out of pocket because I didn’t think they accepted my insurance, she loudly said in a very full waiting room “we can’t treat you because if you can pay out of pocket there’s no need to be on medicaid.”This comment was very unnecessary and made me feel very judged for having state assistance. If you don’t accept assistance and aren’t legally allowed to let me pay out of pocket, all she had to say is “I’m sorry we can’t do that” not analyze my financial situation. As I am full time student going into the medical field myself putting myself through school while working two part time jobs that pay very little. Please educate your front desk staff on having a little bit more compassion towards others, it’s honestly the biggest thing missing in healthcare these days. I will forever remember this day and how to never treat my patients. I left this urgent care in tears and Dr. Paul at LCMC urgent care uptown treated me with care, compassion, and no judgment. If you are on Medicaid, DO NOT GO HERE.

We are traveling and our youngest came down sick. We schedule an appointment and filled out most paperwork online. We were checked in on time and were out within 30 mins. Staff directed us to close by pharmacy.
