NextCare Urgent Care Mesa

Listen, nobody wants to go to urgent care but when you have to, you have to. I unfortunately was feeling sicker than a dog and couldn’t get in with my PCP so this was my only option.This urgent care is hands down the best one I have ever been to. The front office staff is so nice and attentive, and the care team is wonderful.My appointment was at 2:30 and I was done before 3:00pm and no, I didn’t feel as if I was rushed by the provider at all! They listened to my symptoms, did some tests, had a plan for care, reviewed the prescriptions they sent off for me, and sent me on my way.If I ever have to come back to an urgent care again, I will be coming here. The facility is new and clean, but the staff were truly amazing. I had a great experience!

My 1st visit and it was wonderful! Staff was warm and friendly and very helpful with questions and paperwork too. The place was very clean with a welcoming atmosphere. The doctor was polite and informative and answered all my questions. Fast visit too! Definitely 5 star!

Went home sick the previous day and decided to make an urgent care appointment the following afternoon so I could sleep in and rest. I showed up early for my appointment, the wait time felt longer than I wanted it to be, but that’s ok. The office was hot, but I thought it was me to be honest since I was cold all morning and maybe was now having hot flashes. When they pulled me back, I was getting more light headed and sweaty while in the room. I took off my layers to try and cool off but it wasn’t helping. They were kind enough to turn the AC on for me and gave me some water. I got an injection, and felt more dizzy like I was going to faint. They brought me an ice pack and I laid down on the bed to cool off. I didn’t know what it was they injected me with until after I left because I’m dumb and didn’t ask more questions. I thought it was going to be a penicillin shot, but I was wrong, it was something to help with the symptoms I was feeling. I appreciate them helping me. I got a doctors note for my employer to let me rest the following day at home and it helped tremendously. Thank you guys! If I have to use urgent care in the future I’ll go back for sure.

Called and made an appointment. Was seen at appt time. Nurse that took vitals was awesome! NP Michelle was awesome as well, very thorough and friendly. I’m from out of state but will definitely use them again!!

This urgent care facility is excellent! The staff and provider are friendly and comprehensive in their approach to patient care, the quality of care was excellent, the facility is clean and clearly in new condition, and there was no wait time as I was the first person to be checked in. The provider spent time explaining the recommended treatment plan with me and immediately had the prescriptions digitally sent to my preferred pharmacy. Overall, this is a location I would come to again for urgent medical needs. The only room for improvement is the WiFi and digital check in process. I could not get my phone to connect to the WiFi and, while the digital check in process is so much better than filling out papers, the forms were slow to load and gave some errors when trying to upload pictures of insurance card and ID. No stars deducted as they got right what was most important - fast, compassionate, and quality medical care!

Had a very long wait (2+ hours), but I was a walk in and it’s the busy time of the year. So I’m not complaining, just letting you know if you’re trying to get a walk in appointment when they’re fully booked. Every single person was friendly and professional (receptionist, medical assistant, provider). No complaints.

I got my daughter in within an hour of calling and she didn’t haveinsurance and they offered a plan that was affordable so we were able to bridge the gap between this year and next year when she starts her new insurance. They were a lifesaver and very easy to work with and got us in and out. Whoever works at the front desk needs a raise. She is amazing.!

Appointment was scheduled for 8 AM. I arrived at 7:56 and walked in because the doors were open. The front desk clerk welcomed me in, and the nurse looked at her and said excuse me what time is it?, Implying that I was too early to be in the building. I responded saying that the door was open and my appointment was at eight so I walked in. I was called to the back about 14 minutes later by the same nurse who called me by saying “OK come back” Since I was the only person in the building. It all felt extremely rude. When I was seen by what I presume was the nurse practitioner she started the conversation rudely as well, but slowly warmed up and became more compassionate. I chose this specific location because it is at the front of my neighborhood, but after the experience with the nurse, I’d prefer not to go back. Not welcoming at all ! No visit notes were provided or any post care instructions! To make matters worse the prescriptions were sent to the wrong pharmacy! The 2 stars is for the convenient Location.

I wrote on my description for my appointment that I had severe pain in my lung. I arrived and they charged me ahead of time for this appointment. At no point did they tell me that they wouldn’t be able to help me until after I had paid. When the person assigned to see me (PA? Not sure) came in, she literally said there was nothing she could do for me and she was not sure why it came in. This is extremely upsetting considering I had already paid $250. This is the third time I’ve been in for what might be the same issue. So I’ve paid $750 in total for no solutions that have worked and just to be told immediately that they were “stressed” and that there was nothing they could do. I get that maybe healthcare providers don’t think about the money issue, because it’s just their job, but for most people, $750 is a lot. I expected care, but instead, they attempted to turn me away and I was made to feel stupid for even coming in and expecting to be helped. They could have told me this before I had paid and waited to be seen that they “cant do anything” to help my situation. They only offered a few options after I broke down in tears and asked what I even paid for. I think they were attempting to get me out of there asap because their waiting room was full. I felt like they attempted to steal from me by taking payment for a service that they didnt intend on providing. Never returning to this place again.Edit: I will say, the first healthcare professional I saw (I want to say her name was Sarah) was very kind, patient and helpful. The second one I was was alright but a bit more rushed. This review is for my experience yesterday. I won’t name this person as they tried to correct this mistake, but I still would never return and expect to receive quality care. The problem is you never know who will be working/assigned to you.If you want to meet with any specific person or even get an X-ray or other services, make sure you ask to confirm that they are there before you pay or don’t pay until you actually receive service.

Brought my son in to be seen for a skin issue. We were in and out in about 20 minutes with an accurate diagnosis. There was an issue with the pharmacy I requested. They no longer accepted my insurance so I called NextCare for help and they were able to move my rx to a pharmacy that worked with my insurance. I will be back to this location on ease and great patient services.

We showed up at 7:16 and were told they were done seeing patients. They didn’t have but one patient in office. Luckily the NextCare in Apache Junction was amazing and saw us when we showed up at 7:39! We called them and they stated they see their patients up until 8pm. I’m not one to walk in right at closing and thought 7:16 would be fine especially since we live behind this urgent care. We drove out to Apache Junction and were greeted so nicely! I will be driving out that way instead of the 2mins it’s takes to get to this place!

The absolute best experience. Everyone was wonderful and patient and kind. Thanks for making me feel better. I’m so glad you are our neighborhood NextCare.

To all future patients: Please remember to fill out your paperwork before arriving for your appointment! I had an appointment scheduled for 11:30, but unfortunately, I lost it because I hadnt completed my paperwork ahead of time. It is rediculous---Feel free to adjust anything if you’d like!

While I was seen quickly with no appt the dr/nurse (?) I saw was from the start unfriendly. Walked in, made no eye contact to introduce herself. Sat down as if me being there was an inconvenience to her. Gave no concerns for MY concerns and brushed it all off. I understand that maybe in the medical world it was nothing to be concerned about but obviously I was concerned and I just felt she was bothered by my existence. This is the reason people hate going to doctors.

The entire office is very caring and goes above and beyond what is expected. We’ve been here on multiple occasions over the last year or so. Each and every time we have been, no matter who is working, we’ve had a great experience-which is saying a lot because I’m usually there with sick kids… not for myself.

Very helpful receptionist. Medical staff was wonderful and quickly resolved my problem. The reception area and treatment room was immaculate! Very impressive business!

I was super surprised this place had nice reviews after my experience. Immediately on walking in, the front desk agent was pretty rude to me. There were 3-4 people in the waiting room. I came in with an appt already set and all of my paper work filled out and I still had to wait about 45 minutes from the time of my appt to be seen. As I was waiting, several individuals in the waiting room left due to the slowness of the staff. The reception lady also claimed she would check me in when I arrived and instead was watching TikTok’s, so I had to check in myself.Once they took me back, the nurse assistant was super snotty to me. They also didn’t really fix my problem and instead suggested I go to the pharmacy and buy something else for it, which was a bummer but not the end of the world. It was just frustrating having that unprofessional experience.I ended up getting a bill for $40 this morning and it reminded me of my lousy experience with this place. I was extremely surprised by it considering the positive reviews. Idk, maybe new staff now? It was very unprofessional.

Open til 8pm but I walked in at 7:45pm and they said they weren’t seeing anyone else and turned me away. If you close before 8pm, then post that. I wouldn’t have driven all the way there just to be turned away during your normal business hours.

Front desk person was not good at all, seems like i broke her cycle of relaxation or why i asked her to do anything. Not coming to this urgent care again. FYI, not a review of doctor/provider..

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. My daughter had an injury, I called ahead to make sure they had an X-ray machine available, they confirmed they did. Once we got there, they said that while they had an X-ray machine, they do not have an X-ray tech. The doctor would still be able to se my daughter, however for a full evaluation she would need an X-ray. Very frustrating (1) I could have been given that information over the phone before wasting my time going there and waiting and (2) please dont collect a copay for a service that would not be completed in full.

Immediate attention to my laceration. Professional team very accommodating. Dr stitched me up and sent me on my way. Very pleased from start to finish! Recommend!!

Appreciated the ability to make a same day appt for my kids school annual sport physical that they needed for school. Both the doctor and check in was quick and efficient. Place looked clean.

I have been a patient and also brought my 5 year old to this location. They have been kind and caring every time. I never feel rushed and they actually listen when you tell them how you are feeling.

Husband and I were both ill for several days before going to NextCare. Signing up and scheduling appointments was easy. They got us both in quickly and treated us together rather than waiting for 2 appointments times.  Meds prescribed are working and we both are feeling better. Office staff was courteous and helped work through insurances issues. Would recommend this provider.

Being from out of state, needing to find healthcare on our extended stay with our son and his family wasnt on my list of considerations. However, this NextCare Urgent Care has given above and beyond what was necessary. Thank you, Anna and Karen for taking such good care of me tonight. I was in on Monday, too, with another problem. Everyone was helpful. The Nurse Practioner on Monday even called me tonight to make sure that I was getting the care that I needed. Thank you NextCare! I cant render the ones that helped me on Monday.

Back in May my daughter suddenly spiked a high fever after me thinking she was getting better from an illness. I brought her here and we saw Karen. My daughters fever finally came down after meds but her heart rate was in the 170s. Karen had a conversation about how this was concerning since her fever was now down. She gave me options of more testing or to take her to the ED where they can run tests faster. We agreed that the hospital was prob the best option. Im glad we went because she ended up being admitted for 8 days with pneumonia. Karen called me to see how she was doing and said she had been up thinking about her. I am so grateful that she helped me make the right decision. Thank you, Karen.

What amazing customer service! I called looking for a last minute physical for a child for an MMA event. This Nextcare office didnt have an MD on staff which we needed for the MMA paperwork, but a staff member named Lexi went way out of her way to help me, including calling around other clinics to find an MD. She took the time to call me back to give me the information she found when she didnt have to do any of that. I have never been seen at a Nextcare clinic, but I will definitely remember this next time I need one. Thank you for being awesome, Lexi! Give this woman a raise!

The nurse and MA were efficient and quick! Went in for something stuck in my tonsil and they got it out so quickly. Professional and genuine!

Overall after front check in it was really quick and pleasant. Checking in not so much. The young lady working front desk was not welcoming she made us feel like we were such an inconvenience to her, not helpful, not friendly actually very uncomfortable.

The people working there are so rude and unprofessional! Two people working the front desk talking about personal lives, neither apparently wants to be bothered. They are just there to take payment. I know way more than I should about their family, school trouble and personal life than I should. The PA has absolutely no people skills and acts like I’m an inconvenience for being there. I’m genuinely sorry I showed up and interrupted y’all’s work day by making you work.

My experience was very positive. Nothing short of professionalism by all; receptionist, doctor’s assistant and the doctor. Would highly recommend this office.,

Short and simple, not worth $225. Will not be doing that again.. But the visit went good. But yeah..

The Nextcare Urgent Care was quick and professional, but also friendly. They will be our go-to place for minor health complaints.

Absolutely wonderful visit. I was a little annoyed that the app for paperwork was slow, but the providers were great and the visit went quickly even on a holiday. I was so glad we could get my daughter’s arm x-rayed without having to go to the ER.

I cut myself and the doctor who stitched me up was very nice and not too aggressive when she was stitching me and also removing them

Have been unknowingly suffering with shingles on my face for a week or so.  Walked into the office and was seen almost immediately.  Would definitely recommend!

The appointment time that I made was actually a true time. I was called back and saw the nurse practitioner within minutes of my appointment. Within an hour and a half, including my drive time and and waiting for the medication to be filled. They allowed me to fill out the paperwork ahead of time so when I arrived, I was checked in and completely seamless and painless. They’ve got their craft together pretty good. The staff were very friendly treated you with the smile and were just great.

Went in for an earache and having a problem with one ear. I scheduled online and the process was quite seamless. This is my second time using Nextcare and what was awesome is that I was already in the system. I love the way you can just reconfirm or update your information because it makes the paperwork easy.The staff was quite efficient and the technician very thorough & professional. The nurse practitioner put me at ease as well. I left there with my problem resolved and a smile on my face. I couldnt get in with my own primary care so choosing to go here was a win-win. thank you again.

Nurse practitioner was TERRIBLE!!!!!! She walked in and said what do you want me to do about this? Seriously, Im sick and weak and you are asking me what to do???? She then said - what do you want? Do you want me to test you for something? Do you want a COVID test? OMG!!!!! If she cant do her job, why is she there??? And that great care cost me $50!!! Which you all took without any issue and then provided me with NO CARE!!!! She is lucky I didnt pass out when I left!!!!!!! Front office girl is great, MA is great - to bad the provider SUCKS!

Made an appointment and got in and out promptly. Very friendly and attentive MA and provider. Testing was done quickly and I was prescribed the medication I needed to get better. Highly recommend!!

I was treated by the nurse practitioner, Sarah. She was very professional and caring. She prescribed exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend NextCare in Cadence.

Great customer service during checkin and the medical staff was patience and understanding with my son’s care.

I would think twice about going to NextCare Urgent Care. My wife cut her head and was very dizzy. We went in saw a doctor for 30 seconds and told us to go to hospital as it was a head injury and they did not want to treat her. When I got home I realized that they still charged my credit card $330. They did absolutely nothing to treat her. I would never recommend or return to NextCare.

Absolutely amazing customer service and caring staff. From Front desk to MA Roger to Nurse Practioner top notch service. I felt bad coming in 2 minutes before they closed. They were so nice got me in and out right away.

Place was clean tech or whoever brought me back Into the room forgot to turn the light on and left me in a pitch black room.. (I turned it on) not a big deal people seemed nice. In and out in anbout 45 mins also cell service sucks so do the paper work before hand. Or use the paper forms

Fast and friendly service. My sons’s sports physical was cost friendly and both people who saw him were interactive and kind.

My three year old daughter fell and cut her forehead open. I rushed her to this location and we received great care from beginning to end. No one else was waiting and we were taken back right away. The staff was so friendly and careful with our daughter. They ended up giving her stitches and cleaning up the wound really well. We were in an out of there within 30-40 minutes. I would definitely recommend this location.

Would highly recommend to anyone! I waited at another urgent care in Queen Creek for 2 hours and still had 5 people ahead of me. Looked around and found Nextcare secured a spot in 30mins, filled all paperwork out online and got right in. Nurse practitioner was great and receptionist was super sweet!!

Everything was great until they sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, even after specifying which one it was!

I came in on my worst day with so much pain, fever and OMG the staff is here so respectful and patient. The doctor I was assigned to was more than understanding of my symptoms and made sure I get the best treatment possible. Will use again in the future If I ever need to!

Great experience! I wish I didn’t have to be sick to go there. Everyone was nice, knowledgeable, and supportive. I only cried a little and that’s on me.

My family and I have seen several different providers in this office and they have each been wonderful. Thorough and attentive and genuine. Wait times have not been bad either.

I took my daughter in last night and thankfully didn’t have a long wait time. I was told next time to go to the ER because they didn’t have enough equipment to do a full work-up. (I’ve never had this problem at other urgent care facilities). Because my daughter had a fever they told me they needed to test her for Covid (totally fine), but on the billing and checkout sheet it shows that the patient had been exposed or potentially exposed to Covid. Not true at all. Not once in any of my conversations did I even use the word Covid. Lastly, as I went to checkout the front desk was empty. After waiting for a solid 10 minutes I opened the front door and closed it to signal the receptionist. It worked and I was able to pay. While I loved how close the facility was I’m not sure I will go back.

Visit was great but I’m still waiting on my prescription.

This was the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Vanya Roberts PAC, was amazing and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend NextCare Eastmark location!!!!!

Worst Place . Please don’t go there . They gave steroid for my husband for a gout and it was over dose and we ended up going emergency in a very panic situation. Please save yourself.

I came into urgent care on memorial day weekend needing stitches for my pinky, after cutting it with a kitchen knife. Karen, the FNP. and her nurse were so kind and amazing!!! She injected the lidocaine so gently and sutured my finger so well. Definitely will be coming back if I ever need urgent care. Thank you so much!

This urgent care is AWESOME. Front desk staff are patient and kind, I was able to get back for my appointment right at my scheduled time, and Ryan Sutton, FNP, came in less than 5 minutes after I was roomed and vitals taken by the MA. Ryan listens to your concerns and is very thorough! I will definitely be back for any future urgent care needs as they sincerely care here. Thank you! 🤧♥️

I took my son in for a sports physical today. We didn’t have an appointment we just walked in.  The wait time was very short and we were in and out in no time.  All the staff was extremely friendly, kind and courteous.  I would highly recommend this location in Eastmark!

I definitely would not recommend. I went to NextCare because of significant ear pain.Because I have a history of ear problems I try to start antibiotics before causing any damage to my ears. The nurse did a covid test that came back positive. The doctor prescribed paxlovid. When I told her about my significant ear pain she dismissed it. I told her I had tubes in my ears three times, still would not or didnt prescribe antibiotics. That night I perforated the membrane in my ear from the infection. I had to visit my primary care physician today to get on antibiotics and ear drops so the perforation will heal. The best advice I can give you is when a patient tells you something about their history, listen. So frustrating!!!!!!

All of the staff at this location were friendly and helpful. Minimal wait time but I didn’t feel hurried. Will definitely return for any future urgent care needs.

Front desk lady was quick and polite. Nurse practitioner was intelligent and informative. I made an appointment and did paperwork before I got in, from the minute I walked in and walked out I was there for 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

FNP Karen was a gem, she treated us with such kindness. My friend was rushed in for stitches on her finger, from start to finish Karen went above and beyond to make sure everything was done efficiently and with the least amount of discomfort.

First time I used Urgent Care and there was nobody in the lobby. Came in with an ear issue, ended up being a clogged ear and both ears were irrigated. Best copay I spent in years... walked out with no issues.

Took my son yesterday for pink eye. We were in and out in under 40 mins, the staff was friendly, facility was clean. Would recommend and will return if we have another minor emergency. Thank you guys.

The only positive thing about this clinic was the provider that I saw, Haynes. She took me seriously and ordered tests that correlated with my symptoms. I had these symptoms for months and my previous provider didnt think to order what Haynes did. However, the staff called me to tell me that my results came back negative and that I was fine. However, I checked the LabCorp website and it said that the test was not performed. Upon returning to the clinic to tell them that someone called me on the phone and lied to me about my results, they tried to make me pay for another visit. I argued that it was their fault, and they eventually just re-sent out my urine for this specific test and low and behold, Im positive. If I never got treated for this, I could have had serious complications that could have led to infertility. I never received my prescriptions from them, and they dont answer their phone, so I just took my results to a different provider so I could get medication. I wrote to you guys on your contact us page but never received a response. Liar lazy lady if youre reading this, next time this happens, just call the patient and tell them to return because there was an issue with the lab.

The ladies at the urgent care were absolutely wonderful and extremely supportive regarding my situation. They were caring, compassionate and understanding. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thank you again for all you did.

My daughter and I love this NextCare! Karen Noll, FNP, and the Medical Assistant on 1/30/24 at 7pm that night, took such care of my daughter. They are AMAZING! Im so sad that I forgot the MAs name; they are a phenomenal team!! The facility is immaculate and the staff are truly outstanding! Henceforth, we will only visit this location (Ellsworth & Ray). I highly recommend this location!

Meh. Happily charged a nearly $150 office visit fee to my insurance provider, only to tell me to go to an ER because they have no suitable lab or imaging onsite to properly diagnose abdominal pain. SMH.This is contrary to online advice from medical sites that claim urgent care centers are appropriate for this -vs- direct to ER visits.Im sure theyre fine for minor daily issues like flu shots and small lacerations needing stitches; this is more of a nurse operated clinic than what Id consider a fully equipped Urgent Care.

Wait wasn’t too bad because I pre- booked. Unfortunately they didn’t have the necessary diagnostic equipment for my issue so they made me go to full service ER. Ok for routine stuff, sprains, cuts, colds etc. Anything more, save yourself time and go to a full service ER.

We got back fast and Jenni was so personable. Front desk staff were friendly.

Rudest receptionist in the world. Didnt even greet us when we walked in because we were middle eastern. She greeted the folks who came in a minute later with a smile. She told us the wait is an hour in a very rude and condescending way. When we checked in online it said there were zero people in front of us. Next really needs to hire more professional employees. We will not be returning.

The nurse practioner and the receptionist weee great, the only reason I can’t give more stars was cuz the co pay was a bit high!! Even with insurance I thought it was too much!! I did get in and out with the meds I needed refilled in less than an hour!

No communication from provider and they refused to prescribe a generic medication that was covered by insurance

I walked in at 7pm on nov 6th. The receptionist was rude from the start, no greeting and immediately says “theres a one hour wait”. There was only 2 people in front of us inside and on the app when we signed in it said “0 people ahead of you”.Another person walked in shortly after us and the receptionist gave them a dramatically better greeting with a smile and didn’t mention a “1 hour wait”. Being middle eastern, We felt discriminated against, very unprofessional behaviour. We walked out and won’t be returning.

I would never go to this location again.. showed up early got seen 30 minutes late. Had paper showing why I was there pre employment, lady seen me with paper and assumed my urinary analysis was for a UTI.. weird.. after I hear the médical assistants talking about my results and asking why I didnt sat anything till later.. but when the appointment was made, thats what I put it for. Unprofessional to patients.

Great service and very little wait.

A complete misdiagnosis. I brought my daugher in at 7pm with extreme adominal pain. They did an urinalysis and said it was a UTI and gave us a prescription. They close at 8pm. We completely felt like they were rushing us out. The NP that saw my daughter spoke so fast that I could barely understand what he was saying and asked him to slow down. The results for the urinalysis came back negative, however, they never reached out to us to tell us this. A week later my daughter ended up in the ER. I called Nextcare from the ER to get my daughters results and this is when they gave me the negative test results. She had been taking the wrong antibiotic. Im so angry with this companys lack of responsibility and empathy, professionalism, everything. I will NEVER go back.

Came in for visit feeling sick. I get if it’s viral then wait to prescribe antibiotic but call antibiotic in if I get worse don’t make me pay for another visit. Offer a free follow up visit for antibiotics.

The staff was great here and I got in to see a nurse practitioner fairly quickly. Very clean facility as well.

Meghan (PA) was great! Xray tech for my son was excellent. They were quick and made things easy.

This visit was easy to schedule and when we arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful. We only had to wait a few minutes before we saw the doctor.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Service was quick! I came to Eastmark Nextcare with my 89 year old mother who has had this flu and horrible cough for 3 weeks. The nurse practitioner did a thorough quick check on her and sent us down to the office on Brown and Power for a chest x-ray and before we made it home She called us with the results of pneumonia and had already called in medication. All of this took place within one and a half hours.

This was our first time at this urgent care.It was super easy to book online, the staff were so kind, the facility was clean and we were in and out in less than an hour.
