If youre looking for a physician for your annual preventative care, STAY AWAY from ALL Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. They WILL bill you ($400~) in the name of New Patient Visit even though the entire visit is for preventative care and should be covered 100% by your insurance! This is the first time I see myself being charged for my preventative care. For females, they do not have female doctors to conduct well woman exam here. I had to schedule appointment with a different OBGYN clinic in network. Dont even bother to waste your time, money to come here.

Be cautious on predatory billing! The physician is great, knowledgeable and caring. However, I have received an over $200 bill for my annual preventative visit (should be covered 100%). This turned out to be a double billing, and I was billed for both preventative and sick visit, and I have a high deductible plan. This is because the physician asked me a question where I dont feel well today, which seems to be a normal question during a preventative visit, and I answered. If knowing this will trigger this bill, I would say nothing.Update: after the corporate office response, I followed up with Patient Relationship team, and resolved this issue. Appreciate the team commit to do more training and communication for the site to inform patients about the potential additional charges. However, it seems that this additional charges are common from the clinics perspective. I will recommend patients to ask the care provider to clarify potential extra billing/charges during your visit

Dr Hsaio is excellent - he is responsive, proactive, and genuinely seems to care for his patients. We moved from Medstar in DC to JH in Mclean in search of a better experience and have so far enjoyed working with the staff and physicians here. Although, wait times at the appointment can certainly be improved.

The facility is fine and the doctor listened to the patient. I had the same experience with predatory billing! I was in the office for 30 minutes to be established as a new patient. However, I received a bill for over $800 for annual preventative visit ($372) which was never performed and new patient visit ($265) which should be covered 100% by the insurance.

My husband and I have been very pleased with the care provided by Dr. Dasari. We are dealing with a complicated health situation and have had several visits over the last three months. We appreciate Dr. Dasaris success in addressing symptoms despite multiple issues. We never feel rushed and he takes time to answer our questions. We get quick responses from him and his excellent staff when we post information from other physicians. The front desk staff has always been pleasant and helpful.

I found the two women at the front desk to be excellent. The facilities are fine as well. However the treatment from Dr Akbary was lacking. He seems to not care about past medical history. Does not ask about past problems or how he could help. The visit was all mechanical. I will not be going back. Virginia Hospital had a better experience for me. Johns hopkins does not earn the famous reputation for me

Dr. Hsaio is amazing! I am so glad I found him. Very caring and thorough. What a great asset he is to this practice. The front desk is amazing also. So friendly and they try their best to fit you in when needed.

Dr. is great. Some front office staff are robotic, with little empathy related to an issue with transfer of records and continuity of care under new office. There was also incorrect note that was deliberately entered by some staff members into the system in connection with my phone call. But they did have a positive staff member that was constructive and resolved the issue.

So far-so good. This is a brand new location, so when I visited the phones werent even online yet. The signage is not visible from 123 (Dolly Madison Blvd). The building is a bit unusual, as it is mostly up in the air on foundational stilts. You likely enter from the Ingleside Ave side, where there is off-street parking, not the Old Dominion Dr side, where there is just street and sidewalk. It is a shared building, with Hopkins offices being on the 3rd floor. The front desk, and nursing, staff was very friendly. Hoping to have an ongoing positive experience, as Im very fond of Johns Hopkins overall. This office is just about a mile from Tysons Corner, so really convenient.

Dr. Akbary deserves his position in McLean- intelligent, capable, understanding, knows how to convince his patients, effectively knowledgeable, solved my longtime health problem in my first visit (in one sitting).
