Absolutely love this office! They are nice and helpful! The NP and Dr. Jennifer Owen are all smiles and actually care! The nurses are so sweet and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend going here, I know I will be as long as possible! I was also late for an appointment before and they still got me in and were very understanding. Thank you 😊

The receptionist was very friendly and easy to understand. The nurse and nurse practitioner were also very friendly. Both seemed very knowledgeable. My only complaint might be that the practitioner spoke too softly. As you age, you need medical personnel to speak slowly, clearly and somewhat louder than with younger patients. Otherwise, my visit was great.

I had my first pap yesterday and office visit with Rhonda who was amazing and made me feel comfortable and heard! The nurse that brought me in was so sweet and even held my arm during the pap which made me feel so comfortable and supported in such a vulnerable moment. Highly recommend!!

After searching for a good Doctor for year I’m thrilled I’ve finally found Dr. Jeff he’s helped me more in the past year than any other Dr has ever. The staff are all amazing and friendly as could be. I’d recommend them a million times over!

Dr Jeff Owens and his staff are awesome. I always feel like i am getting the best care and that Dr Owens is up to date on the latest medical info. He is a very fast paced, no nonsense doctor which i appreciate as I value my time. I like to get in, take care of business, and get out. However, when i have questions or concerns, Dr Owens always gives me as much time as I need, one on one, to get the information I seek, without making me feel rushed. His staff is always friendly and professional and his office is beautiful and well kept.

Best staff EVER!! They have become like family- from the reception crew to those hidden in the back. Wendy is the one I see most often. She’s not only my pellet girl, she’s also my therapist! Always there to listen! She’s an all around Rock⭐️! Love these people!! If you haven’t been there, and you’re going somewhere else, make an appointment today just to see all of the things that they offer. I think you’ll be amazed And will definitely not be disappointed!!

We had a great experience getting an FAA Medical Exam for my son. Dr. Owen was SO knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Great first experience - we will be back! Much appreciated!

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was attentive and available for any questions or concerns I had. Going to see a physician isn’t always what we want to do. But when the staff makes you feel comfortable you definitely know you made the right choice

I have been seeing Dr Owen for many years and ALWAYS have a wonderful experience! His team is also amazing! Dr. Owen is gentle with procedures, very explanatory on all he’s needing to do, and concerned about you and your comfort. He’s extremely knowledgeable and is always open to questions. He listens and will allow you the time you need.

OHG is the absolute BEST health care in Lubbock. The care that Dr. Jeff, Dr. Jenn, and their medical team has provided me has completely improved my health and quality of life. BONUS: they have Kelley, the best aesthetician around.

The office was very clean and the nurse prac was very nice and thorough. I just thought my appointment was with Dr.Jenn Owens but it was with the prac. I wish it had been communicated that I wasnt getting to see the actual doctor. The front desk people were not overly friendly either.

I would definitely recommend this office! From scheduling, to the actual appointment, top notch customer service! One place I didn’t have to actually wait for 30 minutes past the appointment time to be seen.

I was nervous about my follow-up appointment for an abnormal lab result but Dr. Jenn was so friendly and personable that i felt so at ease. I dont recommend having an abnormal lab result, but I do recommend Owen Health Group 100%

PLEASE BE AWARE OF MALPRACTICE AT THIS GROUP!!!!! Not only was I given a childs dose of epi that if I had an allergic reaction it would have done nothing. They constantly add things never talked about to your medical records. They also never give the referrals that are discussed. Been waiting 2 years on one and have yet to get anything after numerous calls. They LOST AND I MEAN ACTUALLY LOST my shot records which is in violation of so many things. NEVER TRUST ANY DOCTOR AT THIS LOCATION EVER!!!

Edit 9/16/24: I was quite impressed today that Dr. Owen called me to go over my last visit and discuss my experience. She was able to explain a few things that made me understand and agree that my previous experience was a one off and highly circumstantial.Doctors just don’t do that, they don’t take the time to call and discuss a negative experience! I would give her 7 stars if I could, simply for the initiative she took to call and chat with me. I truly appreciate the phone call Dr. Jenn!! 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻Edited 9/12/24: My initial review was five stars in July 2024, but I’ve had several more experiences with the office and am sad to say that I will probably never go back. I left yesterday close to tears and felt very dismissed. I previously was seen by Brittany, PA and had a phenomenal experience, she was thorough and caring. During the visit with Brittany I had a few issues so she ordered a pelvic ultrasound. I came back a few weeks later for the ultrasound and that experience was great as well. When they called to give me my results of the pelvic ultrasound, which were negative, I was wondering what other treatment options were available. So the nurse went to speak with a provider and then called me back and said that Dr. Jenn wanted to see me in office to discuss further options. So an appointment was made for me to come into the office to speak with her.When I arrived, I was seen by a nurse practitioner who is very new to the practice and admittedly was still getting used to seeing this type of patient, she was very nice.We had a chat and then she would go talk to Dr. Jenn, and then the nurse prac would come back and play telephone, relaying what Dr. Jenn said, which was basically…sorry there’s nothing we can do, but we can refer you to another OB/GYN.The part that upset me is that the office called me and stated that Dr. Jenn wanted to see me personally and then when I show up, she couldn’t be bothered to even come talk to me, it made me feel like I wasn’t heard by the actual physician at all, and whenever I went to leave, she was standing at the nurses station writing on some paper, not 5 feet from where my exam room was. A three minute conversation would’ve at least let me leave feeling like she actually cared and that I wasn’t mislead about her wanting to see me.I love seeing nurse practitioners, they are actually my preference, but when the office calls me and tells me the physician wants to see me, that’s just what I expect to happen. And if she had been called away to an emergency or was elbows deep in a procedure, I could understand how it went down, but that was not the case because I saw her standing there. I guess I’ve just followed her on social media for so long and actually follow her during my nursing school OB rotation, I just felt like I expected a lot better from her….and that’s what hurt my feeling so bad..Original Review: I had a lot of anxiety coming to a new OB/GYN but the folks at Owen Health Group made the experience great!The front staff was nice but not obnoxiously so and it was also good to see front staff members over the age of 30!!The process, after being pulled back, was good from start to finish. Brittany, PA, was thorough and asked me questions I never thought to bring up. Ive never had such an in-depth conversation regarding my feminine health and I left feeling well cared for. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this medical office for my ladies past child bearing age.

I was greeted by smiling and very pleasant - easy to talk to staff. My wait was very short & I was a new patient. The nurse that took me back was very kind, yet professional, in listening to me as I gave my medical history. Dr. Jennifer Owen I did not see this time but Brittney PA. She was easy to talk to, lighthearted, and was very proficient. I felt better when I left than when I arrived. Glad I made an appointment with this facility and made a follow up for next year!

Extremely frustrated with accounting and staff. I can never get ahold of anyone in accounting or phone calls returned. My billing issue has been on going for 6 months and it all started because the staff member who checked me in entered my insurance incorrectly.

While Dr. Jeff and Jennifer Owen are absolutely amazing. The billing is extremely shady. They charge and double dip for services that are questionable. Check your insurance billing to what you are actually quoted. I called her billing staff and she had a reason for non-disclosed billing.

The visits are great. The PA (I wish I could remember her name) is very sweet and helpful, she shows that she really cares.However, the supporting staff is awful. After an appointment and a diagnosis, I called to discuss some symptoms with the medical staff, who then LAUGHED in my face and said “it’s normal.”Then, I have been asking for my medical records since the beginning of August. I didn’t get a release form until I had called probably 5 times asking for it and that was the end of August. I sent my form Aug 30, they said it takes 10 days. I followed up Sept 27, no response. It’s now Oct 16 and I still don’t have my medical records as requested.I don’t know what the issue is but it’s very disappointing and quite frankly, irritating.When and if they ever send it, I will never deal with this place again nor would I recommend to anyone. It takes everybody in there to make the experience a good one for patients, not just the doctor.

My experience was amazing! From the phone call that I had to schedule my appointment all the way through my appointment I had the most comfortable experience. It felt less like doctor to patient relationship & more like friend to friend relationship. I would recommend Owen Health Group to anyone!

Yesterday I came in as a new patient. I was super nervous about the appointment. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, and loved how clean and nice the office was. I am so appreciative of that. I thought customer service didn’t exist anymore, but this office has proven me to be wrong. A good friend referred me and so happy that I took the recommendation. The staff was great and the Gyn PA was very nice but she was extremely behind the times on female hormones. I cant give them higher than 3 stars due to this being a huge part of why I sought them out. Women badly need solid help with hormones and this clinic cant provide that, so we all have to seek out yet another doctor, which takes more money from our pockets. Its also very loud for a GYN office, which makes the experience more overwhelming. They have people on staff to draw blood there, which is a plus. If they updated their education to 2024, and offered HRT to women before menopause, Id happily update my review. Heres hoping! Im putting this review in here so that other women go in prepared.

Very little waiting room time. Everyone was very professional and polite. The doctors assistant (Brittany) that I saw was extremely attentive and responsive as was the nurse.

Definitely the worst doctor’s office I have ever been to. The front desk staff is incredibly rude and hard to get ahold of. It’s been this way for the three and a half years I have been dealing with them. Dr. Brittany is who I saw and I told her the issues I was having with the front desk and all I got was a bunch of excuses for them and not even a single apology. Not to mention the health related issues I was having, she told me to just tough it out and if I didn’t like coming here, they have thousands of patients and I could go somewhere else. Advice taken. I won’t be back and I’m encouraging my friends and family to not go there as well. I feel like I have been very patient with them over the years but I’m done putting up with this. Extremely unprofessional.

I had no problems switching over to the Owen Health Group. The staff was very welcoming and my appointment was at 2:40 and I was seen within 10 minutes of checking in and that meant a lot because I have been known to wait for over an hour at my previous doctor appointments. Dr. Owen is as great and thorough as ever!!! Customer service has not gone out the window with her staff! They’re always so helpful and kind. Dr. Jeff Owen is an excellent doctor and all around great human being. Ive gone to Dr. Owen for the past 5 years or so and always have a great experience at his office. The second to last time I went, he was not there and I saw his NP Carly. She was just as great!My most recent visit was for a wellness check and once again was met with great service. I saw Wendy Wilcox this time and she was able to give me insight on what I was dealing with for a couple weeks and put my mind at ease. Won’t go to anyone else other than Owen health group. We had a terrible experience at this facility. The Dr. Jenn listened to my wife with no show of concern for the troubles shes been experiencing. Not very forthcoming in giving out information or putting my wife mind at ease about her situation. We will be looking for a Dr. that cares enough to actually listen to what their patients needs are. Drs that conduct themselves like this should be ashamed.

Horrible customer service. Tried calling for a WEEK and they didn’t answer. I didn’t have my medication or my lab results for an entire week. I called over 20 times and left several voicemails. They took absolutely no accountability for not answering their phones. The times they did call back, it was already past 4:30, when they close at 5.

The receptionist staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly! My gynecologist was also very friendly; willing to answer all my questions and putting me on the correct medications! Very wonderful, homey atmosphere and wonderful medical care!

I had a really horrible experience at my first gyno appointment (which was with the health sciences center) and was more or less traumatized and too scared to ever go back. Owen health group was recommended to me and I finally made it up there. Booking an appointment was SO easy, the office is so clean and the girls are so sweet and helpful. I saw Brittany (Jennifer’s PA) and she was absolutely amazing. She answered all of my questions and genuinely listened to me. This was the best experience I’ve had and will never go anywhere else.

First timer going to get medical exams/checkup. Very nice place, the assistants make you feel comfortable and not nervous. It didn’t feel like a normal “doctors trip” because how friendly and sociable everyone was. The male doctor wished me success and because I’ll have to get my information updated yearly, I’ll definitely be back there!

After 37 years with the same doctor, I had to change. I was so apprehensive about finding a new doctor! However, my first visit to Owen Health Group was so easy. I love this health group and see both physicians. Theres been a change with some staff which caused a minor hiccup at my last appointment (turns out my appointment wasnt saved in the system so I technically didnt actually have an appointment at the time) but it was handled very professionally and I was very thankful I was able to be seen and taken care of. I would highly recommend either physician.
