We were with Henry Fertility for a year (4 IUIs, 1 canceled egg retrieval, 1 egg retrieval, and 3 embryo transfers - all failed), before we moved on to a different clinic. I was not aware of the lack of care I was receiving before switching clinics. Also, I waited to write this review until we had success at our new clinic. I got pregnant within 6 months at my new clinic because my doctor saw me as an individual and provided actual solutions rather than getting me in and out as quickly as possible. Before our last embryo transfer with Dr. Henry - I asked Danielle, “Is there ANYTHING else we can do before this last transfer? This is our last opportunity. Any extra testing? Vitamins? Medication changes?” Her response was, “be the healthiest you can be”. Not only did that immediately put the blame on me, but it was a complete copout. There were in fact other things I could have done - within one visit at my new clinic, I was told to take x,y,z vitamins, saline sonogram, HSG test, full blood panel, and we were told to switch our sperm donor (using donor sperm due to MFI). On my first visit with my new doctor, she pointed out that the sperm we were using the entire time at Henry had non-progressive motility. I was shocked that this was missed. That would have saved us 4 IUIs AND an IVF cycle using that donor. All it took was my new doctor actually taking the time to deep dive into my records. When I asked Dr. Henry if he had any possible explanation for our transfers not working, he said “well your eggs didn’t look great” without any further explanation. This led us to believe we wouldn’t have success with IVF and were discussing embryo adoption. Had I listened to Dr. Henry, I wouldn’t be typing this pregnant with my own egg that was actually perfectly fine. My new doctor explained exactly what she saw with my eggs and thought it maybe was because my STIM meds were too high. She was right. Since I was a poor responder to the meds, Dr. Henry’s solution was to pump up the dosage. I was on 525 of Menopur AND 525 of Gonal, which looking back is INSANE. Both say on their packaging not to go higher than 450. Not only did this tank the quality of my eggs, which I do believe was why none of the transfers stuck, but it also cost us an extra $15k in medications. There is no evidence that shows a dose higher than the max of 450 will yield better results - it is actually doing more harm than good and a complete money pit. My new doctor completely changed my IVF protocol because I was a poor responder. Dr. Henry had the opportunity to make a change as I had a canceled cycle giving him data to go off of. We instead just bulldozed ahead with a higher dose.I want to point out that this clinic batches patients.I felt there were too many patients and not enough nurses. It felt like herding cattle every time I went in for a monitoring Ultrasound. They do it first come first serve and tell you to make sure you arrive before they open so you don’t have to wait. This made it so stressful, especially traveling from Terre Haute. I would leave my house at 6:00 am to hopefully not have to wait an hour for an ultrasound. I also wouldn’t hear from the nurses until sometimes 6 or 7 PM for my daily med dosage. It was just completely unnecessary added stress. Please do your research on this clinics success rates. The proof is in the data. Dr. Henry is a nice person and a good doctor so it does make me sad to write this, but maybe he just has too many patients he is trying to juggle which takes away from the individual care everyone deserves when trying to start a family. Things slipped through the cracks. I fear this is going to get worse as Henry is opening more satellite offices, which means more patients. I feel it is important to share our story as we had a COMPLETELY opposite experience at our new clinic.I truly do not feel like our success with them was luck but rather individualized care that everyone deserves. Henry follows a plan A for everyone, and you will struggle if your body doesnt respond to that protocol. Theres no plan B or C.

I wish I would have explored my options before landing on Henry Fertility. I chose this out of convenience, because they were coming to the Voss Center which is local for me. My initial appointment went great, Dr Henry explained everything. I left feeling about 75% comfortable with the plan. I left with follow up questions, naturally, after having all of that information thrown at you. The nurses in office never wanted to answer my questions. I was talked down to and dismissed on several occasions. My latest phone call started like this- you didn’t call when you started your period. I said I didn’t know I needed to, as I wasn’t planning on starting until March. Helen’s response was- well the nurse in office went over all of that with you. Actually, she didn’t. As we weren’t going to be doing it right now. And proceeded to tell me I would now not get to proceed with my cycle. Another time I called with questions I had a million abbreviations thrown at me and felt degraded because I didn’t speak at their level. I finally emailed Helen, and let her know that I too was a nurse and couldn’t believe the way in which she talked to people. The response I received was shocking- ultimately telling me I needed to take my business elsewhere. Which, thank god. What a blessing in disguise. To top all of this off, I went to leave a review on fb and was blocked. The actual pettiness. Don’t worry, the review will still be placed. Please, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. It’s bad enough going through the fertility issues but to have nurses displaying 0 compassion- nah. I’ll happily explore my options!

My husband and I went through Henry Fertility in 2020. We are very fortunate that our ivf journey ended up with healthy twins after the first round of ivf. Before ivf, we had 1 failed iui that resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. Both procedures were done through Henry Fertility. The staff at Henry Fertility was always available to answer questions, kind, and informative. They took calls and emails after hours. Dr. Henry was always informative and thorough. He explained the process to us, the medications, and next steps. I also had several appointments after confirmation of twins before being released to my ob. I appreciate how thorough he was before releasing me. I found the costs to also be reasonable. We couldn’t have had a better experience through the difficult journey.

Honestly cannot recommend this place based on the service I have had so far. Dr. Henry seemed knowledgeable and had a game plan in place. His staff was supposed to call in prescriptions for me last week and that still hasnt been done. Ive emailed and tried calling without a response. Based on this alone I do not feel confident that this practice has my best interests at heart or a level of care that I deem acceptable. Really disappointed and disheartening to experience this right after my first appointment.* Follow up edit* After waiting 2 weeks for them to actually call in my prescriptions I foolishly kept my ultrasound appointment because I really like Dr. Henry and just thought this could still work out. When I confirmed everything with the clinic I was never told this was out of my network and I would have to pay out of pocket. $315 for an ultrasound is insane. At this point I will have to move to a different clinic and start over again.

Im honestly not sure how Henry has any bad reviews. ***Miscarriage mentioned***Since day one he has shown compassion and understanding. He was so confident in the treatment plan and helping us conceive. Weve been to other doctors in Indianapolis where I went through so much for so little. For 6yrs.. Soon as we made the switch we did two months of treatments with him before going to IVF and ended up pregnant 2nd try. Unfortunately it ended with a loss in the 3rd month due to the baby having Turner syndrome. Him and his staff was so compassionate and was there with us throughout the miscarriage, giving us hope we didnt have to wait long to try again. So we decided we will give it 2 more chances and ended up pregnant again the next treatment. Were now 5months with triplets and thats just with treatments not ivf! We couldnt be more thankful for Henry and his staff all the wonderful ladies who work with him have been nothing but caring. Were truly blessed to have had them on our journey! Would highly recommend him!:)

I would not recommend Dr. Henry to my enemy. Absolutely no communication and I had to hunt down the nurse when my wife received her positive surge so we missed ovulation but still had to pay. They did not do an ultra sound to check ovaries or to make sure she was ovulating. I even asked about a two day iui but they stated that we didnt need it and they conducted on the day they wanted Instead of the day we were ready which was absurd because we were the ones paying the money and with no surprise we failed the pregnancy test for me and no one even reached out to us. To make matters worse they switched our nurse in the middle of our cycle

I wouldn’t recommend this facility to absolutely anyone. Me and my mother sat in Dr. Henry’s office for over an hour after driving 80 minutes, mind you no nurse or employee said a word to us. We left with no information and the office desk lady was absolutely rude and had no care for her patients.

You couldnt choose a better Dr. and staff than at Henry Fertility! Dr. Henry, the nurses, and other office staff all take the time to get to know you, and make it so you arent just a patient or stat. It was always easy for me to get appointments when I called, and I never waited long once I arrived. At each appointment, I never felt rushed and all of my questions were always answered thoroughly. The nurses and office administrator were also always very quick to respond to emails. Without Henry Fertility, we wouldnt have gotten our miracle baby. Henry Fertility definitely provides quality care, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the same shoes as we were.

I heard good things about Dr. Henry and we were excited to begin the process of starting a family. The two consultations I had with Dr. Henry went ok. He gave a basic overview of the process and then sent in a nurse to provide more details. She seemed pretty clueless and just read instructions off a sheet of paper. We did finally get the info we needed (so we thought) after asking a lot questions. This is all new to me so I didnt want to judge too fast. Since then, I have been given conflicting instructions and information and on multiple occasions my inquiries werent answered until I let them know that Im moving on to another doctor. Twice, we were ready to begin the process and purchased medications only to find out that there was a step we missed and couldnt move forward. I was already nervous about this process and Dr. Henrys office not only increased that anxiety, they wasted a lot of my valuable time. We ultimately found another doctor and they are already exceeding expectations.

Dr. Henry and his team were able to make my dream to become a mother true! I was a patient in 2012 when I became pregnant with my first son and later in 2017 when I became pregnant with my twins. Dr. Henry is very caring but not fluffy and he is very straight forward, which I prefer. The nurses were so kind and very responsive to me or my insurance, in case they needed additional documentation to cover medication.I recommend Dr. Henry and his team. Just keep these in mind: is IVF expensive? YES- is infertility difficult? YES- do you want positive results? YES- so focus on the big picture and dont get frustrated with the little things. I kept my mind on the goal and thanks to Dr Henry and team, I now have 3 kids!

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Henry when we decided to proceed with a reciprocal IVF procedure after failing to become pregnant through mulitple IUI attempts. (We learned there is special licensing for this procedure that our doctor at the time did not have) From the very beginning, he and his nurses made us feel right at home and fully supported our choices. Dr. Henry took the time to answer our countless questions and thoroughly explain the process. His nurses were just as amazing and helpful through the whole process. Dr. Henry was just as amazing and supportive when we miscarried after our first transfer. Throughout the whole process we were never pressured in any way. All of our questions, whether related to meds, recovery, whatever were answered with patience and kindness. We have kept in touch with him even after the birth of our son as we are considering another IVF procedure using my own eggs. Dr. Henry has even reached out to answer questions I have asked his nurses. I highly reccommend Dr. Henry and his office for whatever your fertility needs may be!

Amazing doctor and staff!!! Highly recommend!!I had to come back and update this review. This office gave me my child. Without them I would not have my amazing little boy. Their staff made it so easy and I felt very comfortable talking to the doctor. The appointments were held in a calm atmosphere and things were done at my own pace. Theyre prices are very reasonable, considering what they are doing for women, couples, and entire families. They make having children possible, even when you think it is impossible. If I ever wanted to have another child, I would definitely go back.

Our first appointment with Dr. Henry set the stage for what was an amazing experience! From the receptionist to Dr. Henry himself. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and down to earth. In December 2019, we welcomed our first child. We have recommended Dr. Henry and staff to a few family members and friends.

Very disappointed in how the handling of insurance went here. I was not given any financial breakdown until last minute because I requested it, at which point I was informed the dr and his office was in my insurance network however the IVF lab was not so I would need to pay an additional 7k I had not planned for. I had already started medications and spent over 4k in medicine alone. They could not get me any final numbers or a clear answer on any of what my end payment would be on the day of the procedure. Due to the stress and lack of information I stopped the medications and informed them I would not be moving forward. They did not even give the courtesy of a reply to my email to say anything. Very disappointing after they were recommended. When I met with the Dr I was quite impressed, but given the situation I think we will need to look elsewhere.

I came to Dr. Henry after two miscarriages. I had previous bloodwork from my OB which he didn’t seem concerned seeing. Once he saw it he didn’t seemed concerned either. In fact when I asked him if I should have my thyroid tested he said “ya sure, anything else you would like tested? I know you’re a very diligent women “ I thought well aren’t you the doctor? Why aren’t you recommending bloodwork and educating me?. I miscarried my baby at 12 weeks pregnant. Flash forward to the present, I’ve seen two different RE’s and both are blown away at the delinquency of Dr. Henry’s care. I have hoshimotos, which is an autoimmune disease that is linked to miscarriage when thyroid levels are out of sorts. Also I have ANA antibodies which is also linked to miscarriage. None of these were a concern for Dr. Henry. Ive learned so much from my present doctors and none of the info was given to me by Henry. I do absolutely Think my daughter would be alive today if it wasn’t for this man. After those three miscarriages mentioned above I’m now 37 weeks pregnant with a uncomplicated pregnancy. I’ve had all levels checked multiple times in this pregnancy with the help of levothyroxine and doctors are taking great care of me. All things any doctor who cared would have checked.

Highly disappointed in the staff at Henry fertility. Starting with the rude receptionist and lack of communication from the staff we only did one cycle. My pharmacy was held up by the doctor not filling out the dose of medicine on my prescription which lead me to take the medicine late. I had to called the day of my scan to find out when to take the trigger shot. The office was closed by the time I called since they close early Friday’s . They also charge a consultation fee which I wasn’t aware of until after the bill came in. Just disappointed all around.
