Sooo as a woman, stuffs fast and pretty simple here. There practicioner is nice and thorough... I had a shock when I took my daughter here... couldnt believe how they treated me as a mother!! My daughter is 16 and every other doctors clinics i take her to treat me nice and like Im a part of her care and consult me to make decisions for her... here they didnt want me in the room when it came time to discuss contraception, they really started shutting me out the moment we walked in... they wanted her phone number as primary contact instead of mine... excuse me? As the payer of the visit, insurance and her cell phone, no... you will put me as primary. Besides if she were to be pregnant (not the reason we were there) Im going to find out any way and help her thru all that too.... so wtf?? Then when they finally let me in the room, the practitioner spoke only to her, not me as if I wasnt already taking her there to help her get what she needed. She didnt want to include me in the discussion. Some of us actually do speak with our daughters and help. Ill be taking her to an ob gyn from now on, where they respect the fact that our teenagers are minors still under our wings.
