Just had my first visit/wellness Pap smear exam with Dr. Neal and his nurse practitioner Barbara Buckley. They were both wonderful! Dr. Neal was easy to talk to and made my experience worry and nerve free. He was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. They both informed me that he’s no longer delivering babies, however, insured me he can be OBgyn doctor up until I deliver one day. I will definitely be back to see Dr. Neal when I do get pregnant one day!

Everyone was super nice and welcoming! I was late to my appointment but they fit me in anyway! Loved the vibes there! I definitely recommend the place! Dr Neal was awesome and he had a good spirit about him!

Dr Neal has been my OB/GYN since the late 80’s . He delivered my grandson 8 y ago. He is very real and caring about all aspects of care. He’s the best!

Found Dr Neal after 29 years. He’s still the same old funny guy. He’s amazing. His staff is all great as well. They were all really nice. I’m glad I found him again. He delivered my first baby. Now he’s stuck with me again lol.

First of all, I absolutely love this office .I have been a patient for 14 years.The staff is very friendly and professional and always on time.Barbara Buckley is my primary.However, today I arrived at my appointment, not realizing I was a month early. The staff went to work immediately and was able to get me right in . My appointment with Doctor Neal. He was absolutely incredible. He was very patient and took a great deal of time to make sure all my questions were answered and explain my bloodwork from previous years. This allowed me to have the information I needed to receive new bloodwork to address my concerns. I give this office 100000 stars ⭐️Gwen

Dr. Neal came on recommendation. I will not be recommending him to anyone else due to my experience.As a woman in her mid-20s, I went in a little late for my first pap and well woman. I was chastized for not having come in sooner despite being a virgin with sexual trauma.During my breast exam, it became apparent that he did not read my records prior to my appointment. Listed there was a history of multiple breast abcesses and fibrous breasts. He was surprised when I told him I knew how to do my own exams in concordence with my menses.When reading over my medications, he began interrogating me about my psychiatric medications and diagnoses, posing very invasive questions about my trauma and PTSD.Dr. Neal pressured me into accepting a prescription for birth control, stating how I could lose my virginity at any time and it could surprise me and that I should be prepared. He didnt listen to my sexual activity history or my personal values.He did NOT ask about my wellbeing or symptoms or if I had concerns. When I tried to bring up my concerns on my own, he cut me off and said let me guess, you have heavy, painful periods? Birth control will fix that He proceeded to write me a paper script for birth control, shove it in my hand, and told me to come back in 6 months to thank him.With his hand on the door, I asked him to stay because I had a concern. He literally sighed and asked what? I asked if my symptoms could be endometriosis. He said it was unlikely, but I informed him of my family history, he said Well then, you probably have it too. The only way to tell is through surgery and you dont want that. Do you know how we treat that? Birth control. Just take that and youll be fine.I left in tears. I couldnt have imagined a worse appointment. I felt objectified, dehumanized, and shamed.Beyond this, I never got my results. The office told me I would hear back in a few weeks regarding my pap results. I have not heard anything, even after leaving a message.Because of the severity of my symptoms, I followed up with another gynecologist who conducted an ultrasound which showed extreme thickening that required a DNC to rule out pathology. Additionally, she promptly ordered a laparoscopy to rule out endometriosis. She was flabbergasted that he would prescribe medication without a diagnosis.Under her care, I received a laparoscopy and DNC. The laparoscopy revealed moderate endometriosis with adhesions and pooling blood in my abdomen. I was put on a progestin only pill with no placebo days. I was informed that endometriosis should NOT be treated by a combination pill as estrogen only feeds the disease. Additionally, I should have been given NO placebo days as any bleeding would perpetuate the issue. Not only did Dr. Neal not test me, he also failed to give me proper treatment for the thing he diagnosed me with on his way out of the room.My new doctor explained that I was lucky to get in when I did because if Id listened to Dr. Neal, I likely would have been facing fertility issues due to his treatment. I could have jeopardized my chances to have children had I listened to Dr. Neal.One last thing that is not directly related to me....While I was waiting in the exam room, heard him enter the patient next to mes room. He identified her first and last name. I proceeded to be able to hear him placing her IUD. The woman was in a lot of pain, crying out. He never asked her if they needed to stop or if she was okay. When they were done, he told her good luck and take some ibuprofen. Outside my room, I heard him telling the nurse outside how this womans IUD was a particularly hard placement. Any patient could have overheard that and, if Im not mistaken, doesnt align with HIPPA.All in all, I am very disappointed in the care I received. I will not be recommending Dr. Neal or anyone in his office.

Dr. Neal is the absolute BEST! He treats everyone like you’re the only patient of the day, he truly listens, cares and even makes you laugh! Richelle is an amazing nurse, Barbra Buckley is an awesome PA, I love the whole staff! Thankful to have such amazing care!

My wife visited today for first time. Her experience was great. She expressed that Dr Neal was well knowledgable, had a great bedside manner and wonderful sense of humor. She had a GREAT experience and she would recommend to anyone looking for a new doctor.

The Nursing staff and Doctors are always so very welcoming. I regularly see Dr. Neal and hes very calming, always open to questions big or small. Its just overall a very soothing and supporting environment everytime I come and go.

Dr. Neal is amazing and so is the staff at Women’s Comprehensive. Couldn’t be happier with the care I received all throughout my pregnancy and afterwards now that my baby has been born. So sad that Dr. Neal won’t be doing OB anymore just gynecology but at least I know his care will continue to be excellent.

Dr. Neal may possibly be the BEST Dr I have ever met. Unfortunately, I ended up needing an emergency abdominal hysterectomy, and the second he walked in the room, he calmed my nerves and really made me feel so at ease. I signed in early knowing that I’m a new patient that needs to fill out a lot of paperwork but I sat there for a least 30 minutes before the receptionist realized that I was there. The people that signed after me all went in before me. Otherwise the nurse and Dr. Neal was extremely nice and friendly to me.

Dr. Neal has been my doctor for almost 30 years, but I’ve seen Dr. Cowan and NP Barbara Buckley as well. All are highly knowledgeable and I recommend the entire team.Very few changes to staff during that time - that says A LOT about the culture. From checking in to checking out, everyone is friendly and professional and never make you feel rushed.
