Been here twice and both times left horribly unsatisfied. Went yesterday for a deep cut in my hand that needed sutures. The entire staff including the “doctor” Nicole are unfortunately wildly incompetent. I was given a right handed split for my left hand and after all three staff members in the building, including the doctor, were circled around me debating if it was incorrect or not, eventually forced the split onto my hand (the wrong one) and was told to keep it on which ended up making my pain 10x worse overnight. The cut was so deep that I hit a nerve and the pain was throughout my whole hand. Even after expressing this to the doctor, nothing else was done and no pain medication was issued until I was forced to ask due to the severe pain I am in. I was then accused of “getting addicted” and after the doctor explained “we don’t prescribe things for pain” proceeded to prescribe me essentially ibuprofen and sent me on my way. After the lack of bedside manner, the wrong handed splint forced onto my throbbing hand and arm, and the lack of care for the level of pain I am in, I will quite literally NEVER return here for care and I will tell everyone I know NEVER to go here. If there was a way to report this doctor for incompetence and malpractice I would report them IMMEDIATELY.
I had a very disappointing experience at this urgent care center. The staff was unprofessional and indifferent, offering no guidance and barely acknowledging my presence, despite there being no other patients. They claimed they couldn’t find my insurance information and that my ID didn’t match, even after I explained it was under my spouse and that their system was correct. Instead of helping, they rudely insisted I pay out of pocket before being seen. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Pretty useless for injuries. They say they have X-Ray capability on the website. We went in and the lady said that it was after 5:00PM so they didnt have an X-Ray technician and gave us an order to go to the Inova Hospital Imaging. At the desk, I asked if we could just come in the morning for an X-Ray instead. Then they told me the truth... they havent had an X-Ray tech in a while because there is a shortage. So which is it... dont have one because its after 5:00 or because you never have one because of a shortage? Lets at least not lie.
Similar experience as others. Went here for an xray, waited 30 minutes in an empty lobby finishing paperwork to be told that there was no xray technician and they we’d have to go to Fairfax ER because it was after 5pm. Got a bill for $250 for that information. Terrible in so many ways. DO NOT GO HERE if you need an XRAY. They should be ashamed.
Not sure why all these terrible reviews. I just had a wonderful experience here! They were great and thorough thank you doctor Nicole
I came in for a UTI and the nurse practitioner seemed fine. Their online system for check in does not work well nor can one open/create the MyChart system that they have. They need to fix this!
My mother went to this clinic because of pain two weeks ago. The provider thought it was muscle soreness and prescribed some muscle relaxants and painkillers. The next day we went to the other urgent care and it was confirmed to be shingles. We paid $200 for the visit, but 10 days later my debit card was charged another $200. They saved my card information and charge randomly, which makes me feel very unsafe.Follow up: I called custom service and was told that was a mistake, I will receive refund soon. But 4 days later, I have not!
Was really struggling with vertigo. went to the center to see if i had an ear infection/ anything the could do. the lady at the front desk took me back to check my blood pressure, temp, etc. asked if i was there because of the “rash” on my face…. i struggle with acne and do not have a rash on my face.
Yo, this place is the worst! I booked my appointment online for 4:11 pm, and I even got there early. But guess what? They didnt even notice me! I waited for a whole hour, and then I just gave up and went to a different location. What a waste of time!
My provider Megan Chesky and assistant Sahba were great! Nice, thorough, and answered all my questions.
Writing for my fiance who visited last week. There were a couple of minor issues that individually were not a problem, but taken together were problematic. Please note that my fiance himself is a healthcare provider and prior employee of INOVA.The NP who saw my fiance for knee pain thought it was arthritis and ordered an X-ray at Tysons MRI & Imaging. She ordered it and told my fiance to go the same day, even though it was a Saturday and the MRI & Imaging did NOT do Xrays on the weekends. We did not find out until we arrived there. After getting the X-ray on the following Monday which was negative for arthritis, my fiance reached back out to the office for an update. The staff who answered the call were extremely unhelpful, hung up on him after saying they would put him on hold, and did not even call him back.Additionally, despite giving an initial referral to an orthopedic surgeon without any testing or official diagnosis, this time, with the X-ray results, they refused to give a referral to a physical therapist. The staff cited that they do not give referrals for second opinions and that my fiance should go to his PCP. First, he wasnt asking for a second opinion, he wanted a referral for his condition which was verified by test results. If they can provide referrals for an orthopedic surgeon without any testing or official diagnosis, why is there an issue with a referral to a physical therapist WITH test results? Secondly, the point of urgent care is URGENCY when a PCP is unavailable. My fiance could not get an earlier appointment with his PCP which is why he was at urgent care. To turn away patients without resolving their care and saying go to your PCP is irresponsible and a waste of money. Patients should not have to convince healthcare providers to provide care.Again, these issues, taken individually, are not extremely problematic. However, in combination, it is clear these providers, or at least the staff, do not care about their patients. This is very disappointing as we live down the street and were excited about a new urgent care nearby. Avoid this urgent care. We will be going back to Prime Doc, which has been great for us so far.
I was beyond impressed with location, facilities, and medical professionals. I live in the area and needed some immediate medical assistance. I stopped by and was helped by professional healthcare workers. They were quick and very respectful. They identified my issues and were able to get me the medicine I needed. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough.
Great experience from making the appointment, short wait time, good appointment. Would definitely use again.
The staff saw me right away (I was the only person checking in at 7:30 before the 8 PM closing time). The NP diagnosed my issue right away (cellulitis from a cut Id received 2 nights before when my leg brushed against the bottom of an upturned metal stanchion) and gave me a prescription to address it. Also checked to see when I last got a tetanus shot (2015) and administered one.
Very clean facility, attentive staff. I was seen promptly and all issues addressed.
Very professional and friendly staff. I was seen immediately and was well taken care of. Overall, an excellent experience!
It was a great and helpful visit all the way through. Thank you all!Walter Hylton
