I absolutely love everything about Reconstructive Surgical Arts. The staff is nothing short of amazing. I completely understand why people would travel to see Dr McClung. He is an amazing surgeon that truly understands the transgender community and has a passion to help.It has been almost a year since I first reached out to RSA. During that year the only surprise has been how compassionate everyone has been every step of the way. They go above and beyond providing any and all information that you might need to make informed decisions.If you are considering surgical options that are gender affirming RSA should be your first stop. As if everything they did to support my surgical journey wasnt enough, Dr McClung also connected me to the absolute best therapist that I have ever seen (and I have seen my share). I have nothing but praise for Reconstructive Surgical Arts.

I had my vaginoplasty February 14th, 2024 with Dr. McClung and I never had a better experience with any other doctor other than Dr. McClung. His warm, loving personality and his gentle demeanor made everything so much easier. I’ve grown to love his practice so much and everyone there is family now. Being a patient of Dr. McClung’s will be the best gift you could give yourself. I owe him everything!

I have spent almost two years searching for a surgeon that I would be comfortable with. Dr. McClung’s office has been transparent and kind to me as a new and anxious patient. Allicia has been incredibly patient while I ask questions week after week, working with me to get coverage from my insurance and more.I have met with Dr. McClung for a pre surgery consult so far and he is a sweet and gentle man, who you can tell enjoys his work. Highly recommend, as do any of his patients I have met.

I had RFF phalloplasty with Dr. McClung March of 2023, to say hes amazing is an under statement. Hes a phenomenal person, surgeon, urologist. Hes caring and down to earth. Professional and well rounded, he takes the time to explain things throughly. Doesnt press anything on to you. Hes very hands on and direct. Hes someone you can count on always. After surgery Hes always available if you have an emergency or you think something is wrong. Which is very reassuring with such a huge surgery. His staff Allicia Michael and Rebecca are all top notch. They will help you with any and everything they can for you. My results are great and I couldnt be happier to have been blessed with the opportunity to go with them. I wouldnt recommend anybody else to do this but him. He has 1000% of my support.

Dr. McClung is the most generous and caring doctor I have ever encountered. This is so important as a provider/surgeon that seeks to support and help trans folks on the journey to finding further alignment with their bodies. My 1st two surgeries had no complications, and my future revision is from no lack of talent, skill, and care on Dr. McClungs part. I am beyond excited that he now has his own practice, and I am so happy I can utilize his new practice for my future revision. The feeling of safety and comfort within a solely trans care practice is amazing.

I’ve followed Dr. McClung and his staff through from his past 2 locations and now to RSA because he really is the best doctor around for the job. Him and his staff are not only experts at what they do but are some of the most personable medical professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure of being treated by. Both my husband and I have gone through our lower surgeries with him and he was absolutely the best choice for us.

Dr. McClung has been great for my Full-Depth Vaginoplasty gender affirming surgery. The consultations have been very sensitive towards making sure it was right for me and walking me through everything that would happen, before, during, and after surgery. The surgery happened two months ago now and has been healing up great, and he and his staff (Special shout out to Alicia who has been super responsive to anxieties I had in recovery) have been absolutely great in supporting me afterwards.The results are looking fantastic and Ive had no complications post surgery so far. Would definitely recommend him for similar surgeries.

The waiting area feels like walking into a friends family room. It is beautifully decorated by Dr. McClung. The exam rooms are comfortable. It doesnt feel like you are at a doctors office. The staff,including his wife, are all so kind, affirming and friendly. Dr.McClung is a wonderful, talented doctor. I highly recommend anyone seeking his services to call them and set up an appointment.

Had such a great experience with pre-surgery laser yesterday! While I can’t say it was painless, it was definitely much better than I expected, and worth the long drive! Dr. McClung and his team are great, and I’m very happy I decided to have surgery with him! ☺️

Best laser hair removal in columbus! I’ve been to three different places and this was the best by FAR. Not only is the atmosphere very welcoming and relaxing, the machine they use is top of the line. I’ve never had such painless laser hair removal. I could have sat there all day.

PLEASE LOOK AT ALL YOUR OPTIONS. Alicia was unprofessional abbreviating all her text - Michael lied about deadlines sent to him by insurance and claimed they were the only ones in Columbus area to perform this type of surgery to my insurance . Then one month before my surgery requested 3,250 Dollars to be paid

I’ve made a few attempts to get in for a consult but can’t seem to get a response, and don’t want to keep bothering them or seem annoying — heard McClung was a good surgeon though.

Met with Dr.Mcclung and Alicia and the support was overwhelming. My journey is just beginning here but I can tell you I have never felt more comfortable putting my needs and wants in someone else’s hands.

I can’t say great enough things about Dr.McClung, Allicia and the rest of the staff at RSA. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have ever made it this far. Had a lot of surgeons talk down on me about being overweight and refusing to even see me until I lost all of it. But not Dr.McClung he did check ins with me every 3 months to see my progress and let me know he was here for me. Because of him I found the mental strength to loose 100lbs and on 11/20 was blessed to have my surgery. Dr. Mcclung will forever be one of the greatest people I have ever met he is truly a blessing and I’ve never been happier thanks to him and his team❤️
