First Choice Immediate Care

This was my second time attending, and I am pleased to report that both visits were smooth, quick, and efficient, thanks to the outstanding staff. The personnel I encountered were impressively friendly and kind. Their gentle and patient demeanor made a significant difference in my experience. It is not often that one finds such a welcoming environment, and I wanted to take moment express my gratitude to the staff for their professionalism and support. I will highly recommend others to this facility.

I walked out of the last place I was to take a dot exam . They took for ever and got my refund and dipped. From $ 136 bucks to $99 bucks 7 minutes away . Was well worth the trip. The staff was amazingly friendly. Offering coffee and clean facilities. And the wait was no issue because it was quickly performed with flying colors. And jibarito y mas food restaurant was next door. This will be my official clinic.

I had a great experience at this clinic for my DOT Physical. The process was quick and efficient—I walked in without an appointment and was out the door within an hour. The staff treated me well, and the environment was clean and welcoming. I also appreciated the ample parking and the clinics flexible hours, which made it super convenient. Great, speedy and friendly service at First Choice. They chose a great name. I had to complete a drug and physical test for work. This was the fastest and best experience I had. I would highly recommend this facility for DOT and school bus driver exams.

The staff here is very kind and super efficient. I’m in and out quickly with a good understanding of what’s wrong and how it will be fixed. They make sure you’re very comfortable and answer all your questions. Absolutely amazing.

Eileen was my driver she picked me up from ups and was so incredibly kind an. Understanding of my injury. As soon as I arrived at the clinic they did my registration and offered me coffee. All of the staff are super attentive, they made a stressful situation much easier to handle. 10/10

This place is great!! Only a few areas hold it back from my 5th star.The nurses and doctors on staff are very professional. The front desk is always kind and aims to be extremely helpful. Generally, you can be in and out in around an hour if you book in advance. Both times Ive gone to this clinic, the perscription that the doctors have given me has knocked whatever was wrong with me right out. They also have basic ammenties (tv, water, coffee) to enjoy while you wait for a provider.I knocked off a star mainly because of the equipment. I think whoever does the site management needs to invest in some higher tech triage technology. The blood pressure machine ended up squeezing my arm too tight and I almost ended up passing out. Luckily the nursing staff was able to help and eventually get an accurate reading, but I think its time for that particular machine to be retired.Everyones bedside manner is quite good and I can tell that the people who work here care about the patients. I do think the clinic could benefit from having 2 doctors on rotation at a given time, versus the current singular doctor structure to help with care wait times. When I went, the actual wait between sitting and seeing a doctor was longer than the wait to be placed in a room.Overall, a lovely place that needs a few slight changes to make it work amazingly. I wish I could give 4.5/5 as thats my real opinion.

This immediate care facility is one of the quickest and easiest places to go for rapid and necessary help. They are always efficient, helpful, kind and I never take longer than 45 minutes here, from moment of check in to check out. Lindsey is a very kind person here and I have never had a poor experience with this facility and the employees. Thank you!

I cannot recommend this location enough! I came in with a bleeding hand and was assisted by staff as soon as I walked in the door. The doctor immediately took me back and verified if I needed stitches or not. Thankfully I didnt, so they gave me some first aid to help, as well as unfailing kindness and compassion. Thank you to Lindsay and Eileen!

Fast and great service staffing was friendly

For here by 12:01 and was told that they were not seeing anybody anymore. There was only one person in the waiting room. It just would be nice to mention a cut off time so people don’t think they have time to be seen.

Literally just needed to check my upper respiratory infection and get a note for work. I have bcbs ppo. They said Id need to pay $100 because I needed a note for work?? What am I paying you off to tell my work Im sick? I cant wrap my head around why I would need to pay you $100 for a check up when every other location has never asked me to do so.

Front lady is extremely nice. The nurse however doesnt know how to handle anything dealing with mental health. I told her I stopped taking Cymbalta 30mg and having bad withdrawal symptoms. Instead of telling me to contact my phyc or go to the emergency room she spent the next 5 mins accusing me of taking more than the prescribed amount. I could have showed her on the bottle the last time it will filled and its over that many days. Plus I wasnt asking her for that I just wanted Zofran and Loperamide. She gave me attitude saying imododium is OTC. I told her its expensive and its free with my insurance as a perscription. She gave me attitude saying no its only over the counter. Not once did she ask if I felt like harming myself. She should have told me to go to the ER or contact my Phycatrist. I ended up just walking out on her and going elsewhere.

So quick, friendly, and clean!!!! The nurse practitioner was very kind. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I’ll be back for any small medical needs.

I came in at 11:30pm and there was no one available to help despite the times of the business stating the hours go until 1am from Mon-Fri. Phone lines were not working or getting picked up.

I came here today as an urgent care. I have seen NPs Lindsey and Kristin various times and they are both wonderful. A few of the women I have encountered have been amazing as well- Val, Eileen, Maritza, Jocelyn and Michelle. Wonderful clinic!

Took my 6 year old daughter today for the first time at 9pm not feeling well. She was seen right away by a nurse and then taken care by Dr. K. German they were both super nice and patient with her. She was treated at the clinic and send home with antibiotics to make her feel better. She also got 2 little toys before going home that made my daughters night and had her asking if to come back here every time she is sick. I would totally give them 10 stars for the way they treated us today if I could. Thank you!!

Handled my issue over the phone, confirmed that they could do what I needed. When I got here, they ran the test immediately, so the results could come in while I filled out paperwork - not the other way around.If you need care, this is the place.

Very nice ppl, very clean establishment. I went in for a shoulder injury and I was greeted at the door and serviced right away. I feel like their diagnosis was as accurate as possible considering my mobility was relatively good. Im looking forward to following the instructions and coming back for a follow-up.

Awesome place. No wait time. Both the nurse and the doctor were so sweet and caring. I called the next day after I went in because I had a question about my symptoms and a doctor called me back within 10 minutes. I feel like this is definitely an upgrade from any other urgent care I’ve been to. I won’t be going anywhere else but here now

Mimi and Christine are the best! Sliced my thumb with a razor blade and they were able to “glue” the wound closed for me instead of stitches. Definitely the kindest, and funniest staff at an Urgent Care Center that I’ve ever been to. Hopefully I don’t need to come back anytime soon, but if I do I really hope they are the ones working!

Took my daughter here for stitches last week very late at night after a bad cut not sure what to expect but we had a very good experience. The intake process was super easy. The nurse was excellent and made my daughter feel very comfortable. Stitches came out this week and would is healing well. And my daughter is now considering a career in nursing!

I can’t express the efficiency and professionalism of this dynamic staff.I came in as a walk in for a bug bite that left a severe rash and was addressed promptly. I was able to be seen quickly which is unheard of in a lot of clinics especially with an appointment . Can’t say enough about this place

This was my first time at this immediate care and I was impressed! I came to get a covid test for myself and my 2 year old, and was pretty nervous about how everything would go. The nurse named Lindsey came to our car after a short wait and was so sweet with my son. She swabbed us both and answered some of the questions I had. I received a phone call right after my results came in too. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place was a worth-while and extremely convenient find; a great option, especially if you live in the area. If its not an emergency, in lieu of driving to either Advocate or UIC hospitals in the city, I definitely recommend this Urgent Care facility if/when the need arises. Fast service, great staff.

Went there for a very painful sports injury. The staff was very attentive and came to my rescue in spite of what looked like a busy, patient-filled office. The NPs (Lindsey) professionalism with me and the other patients is commendable! They even followed up a few days later to check on me. Outstanding!

I drove in for a Covid-19 test and the staff was very helpful and thorough. Michelle was helpful and nice. I was glad to see how they treated me. I would go back here if needed as well. I highly recommend this practice.

Lindsey is the best! She’s very friendly and professional. I get prompt service whenever I go. The staff is friendly as well. I hate getting injured, but going here makes the experience a little less burdensome.

Great place open late so you can come later at night if you get hurt or anything of that nature. My shoulder was hurting from working and they sent a car right over to pick me up and get my shoulder checked out.

Lindsey & entire staff are beyond exceptional !Anytime I or anyone in family has visited this office everyone there is extremely attentive & so kind from the time you arrive to making sure you have everything you need from their end before you walk out .I live over an hour away , fortunately I found Lindsey & staff thru family nearby & I wont visit any other care facility near me. [ reviews are unfortunately true inre concern, politeness & follow-up] . Its difficult to willingly be in that situation , especially when not feeling well .If Lindsey were to ever change locations we will definitely follow !👍🏽🎉🧡

Staff is so nice and it was fast and easy to get in and seen for my DOT physical recertification. Parking ourside is crazy but you can still fit Tractor AND trl on the side of the street.

Horrible service, and horrible communication. There is no type of help in this place. Wouldn’t recommend. For your own good, go to the hospital instead. They might take longer there but at least you’ll get some results.

Everything was going good until it was time for me to leave and I learn not only did they misplace my drivers license but I received a call the next day from a random person saying they have my drivers license they also gave my contact information out without my consent. Dangerously unprofessional.

I called ahead to see if they could treat my eye. They took me in & processed me right away, and had me on the bed. They werent able to fix my issue, but Linzie was a champ. She gave me the best care she could and referred me to an eye specialist who could remove the foreign material from my eye. Gave me some snacks while I waited, and she contacted a nearby eye care facility. Please come here for any urgent care, all the gals here were great to deal with, and are super nice over the phone.

Sent by employer. Clean and efficient. Not a long wait even with serveral people they see you fast. Gets you in and out.

Needed to get a Covid PCR test with urgency for travel I can’t speak highly enough of this place , the owners care about their customers highly recommend this place. Friendly staff and very reasonable pricing!* First time going here was great Charlie & Marilyn which i was told were the owners were very attentive for covid pcr test! -2nd time - recommended my mother to this place to get tested beyond rude! told us we could take our business else were very unprofessional. take your business somewhere else.

I really appreciate the medical staff at this office. They take the time to understand your medical issue and are comforting throughout your visits. Id come to this clinic for medical treatment any day even outside of occupational health 🫶💯

My wife went in late with severe pains pointing to a kidney infection. She arrived between 12:01-12:02 but was turned away because they dont take new patients after midnight. Seriously?! 1 **** minute?! So what, if shed made one more stop light you would have taken her? If shed shuffled a little faster through the lot while in pain youd say okay? I used to bull that B.S. when I worked in a big box retailer, but in an urgent care with desperate patients? Seriously? Pathetic. Shameful.

I really like this place! Jocelyn had great patience with me when it came to me asking questions! The bonus is the wait time was very less than I expected! Thank you guys!!!!!!

They were the only urgent care open at 7am, entire staff were very kind the provider we saw was extremely informative warm and kind made my son who was feeling absolutely miserable more at ease than he has been in the past when he needed to get tested for strep throat and COVID/flu.

Even though they were short staffed was seen in a timely and very professional manner.

Needed to get a Covid PCR test. Aileen came to my car to do test, she was very pleasant and answered all my questions and concerns. My first time getting covid test done, Aileen made it smooth and easy. In and out within 20 minutes. I highly recommend this clinic.
