AFC Urgent Care Chattanooga

I had a great experience there, everyone was so nice and helpful. The provider i saw was very nice and kind i think her name was Sarah idk but she was very nice. And the tech Kayla was also very helpful and took great care of me. Would go again with no hesitation

I had a wonderful visit. The check-in process was simple, and the wait time to be seen was reasonable. From start to finish, the staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I especially like the fact that I could watch television while waiting. The nurse and PA were really courteous and expressed genuine concern about the reason for my visit.

The staff was amazing here! I did not have to wait long and everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. Everything was explained so I knew how to treat my injury as well as medication I would be taking. I will definitely use them again if needed!

It was a great experience. The staff is very professional. The receptionists were so friendly. My situation was a bit difficult as I had a painful abscess. Rachel (PA) and the nurse (I believe her name was Connie) took really good care of me. They were so respectful, and I felt safe in their hands. I came for a follow-up two times afterward, and another PA (Elani Hall) assessed and helped me. She was great as well. Moreover, I was bowled over by her kindness. I never had such an experience even when I visited my regular PCP. But I am glad this center was near my home, and they were excellent.

I went on a Friday evening afterwork. It was easy to make appointment online and there were lots of available times. Staff was attentive and appeared interested in my responses. Provider was engaged and respectfully acknowledged my own knowledge of my body and previous similar episodes. That was appreciated!

The experience was great! From the time we walked in, to the time we left. The front desk ladies were friendly and helpful. The wait time was not long. The nurse was kind. The provider was compassionate and thorough. She took the time to talk to my daughter and we did not feel rushed. These are the kind of care givers you want caring for your sick loved ones. This location, I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Ari was the best we’ve ever encountered anywhere. Her care, concern, patience and compassion makes AFC my first choice whenever I need to take my family to urgent care. This location is actually farther than others, but I choose to come here because of Ari and the front office staff. Ari is definitely someone who embodies behaviors of a nurse. Thank you, Ari and team, for helping take care of my baby girl.

The staff at AFC Urgent Care was friendly and helpful. I was seen in a timely manner, though I waited a while for x-rays. I had an overall great experience!

We were traveling for basketball and our son had a sore throat.  All urgent cares we found initially had a 2-hr wait.  Called AHC and they were able to see him in less than 20 minutes.  Staff were very friendly, patient and helpful, from front desk to the nurse and NP.  Appreciated their attention to his care!

This was my first visit to AFC in Chattanooga and I was very pleased. The staff were polite and out going. The nurse and PA, Elaina, was very kind and welcoming to us. They both answered all questions posed to them patiently. 🎄🎁

I love that you can check in and do the paperwork online, it made for a quick and easy visit. The staff were very courteous and helpful, they were great with my sick little guy, and we didnt have to wait very long. The facility is very nice - clean and super convenient.

The nurse was very rude and very short with me doing my visit. She took my temperature with my jacket on which is insulated very thick. It was like she was trying to make me fail my DOT physical. she told me to lay down for a few minutes and she will take my temperature again that was cool, but she turned off the lights while I was sitting down and closed the door so I had to get up and turn the lights on in order to find bed when she came back to take My temperature she asked me to Continue to lay on the bed while she take my temperature. I found that to be very strange, but I did it it anyway and Asked her what was my readings she shook her head with a smirk on her face as she walked out of the door and said the doctor will be in shortly The doctor came in and rechecked my temperature and it was OK. The doctor was very professional. No complaints there

Was able to register everything online prior to getting there. So the waiting was easier. We did have a little while on the wait as there were people in front of us, but the experience was fantastic. Prescription was called into the closest Walgreens and I was able to go by and pick it up afterwards. They made it a seamless transaction. Thank you!

Everything was handled in a professional manner. I was able to get a same day appointment. I feel much better already. Thank you to the entire team. No one wants to be sick but especially over Christmas.

The staff was very cordial. Dr Rachael took the time to ask me questions and listen. I did not feel rushed. She explained my medication and was very thorough.

Came in 30 mins before close for my husband who needed stitches in a finger. The staff was so unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. They never made us feel bad for keeping them late and made sure to keep conversation flowing to keep us at ease! Hopefully we wont need to come back again anytime soon but I would in a heartbeat! Cant recommend this place enough!

Great urgent care facility, speedy, quality staff. My choice for quick care in Chatt and I drive a long way to get there. Primarily The experience I always have at this location

It was a fantastic visit. The lovely PA even noticed a condition that I have suffered with for several years and took an active interest. The antibiotic regimen for my sinus infection has been spot on. I applaud the excellent service and professionalism.

I had an amazing experience at AFC. The staff was incredible, they were so warm and friendly. The woman at the front desk was gentle and caring. She did a great job explaining what my out of pocket cost would be. The medical assistant, Janie was also so caring. I didn’t get to see the name of my physician/NP but she was also so friendly and helpful. Each and every staff member made me feel cared for, they spent time with me and made sure I understood my condition. I will recommend AFC to anyone. Thank you AFC Chattanooga team!!

This is only the 2nd time Ive been to this location for care. The 1st time was wonderful. The provider was very nice and truly cared about what I was being seen for. This time however was not the case. The front desk ladies were very nice and so was the X-ray tech. Thats where the niceness ended. The MA that took my vitals and triaged me acted like she wished she was anywhere else but there. She didnt go over my medications except for 1 then said ok well the provider will be in soon and left. The PA when he came in sat on his little stool and scooted up against the wall, leaned on the counter, crossed his legs and his arms and was the most arrogant person I have encountered in a while. He listened to what I had to say then rushed through the exam and basically everything I said and the providers that I work with had said was wrong and that I just had a little cold. He wrote the normal cough medication that is meant to just get you by and a steroid pack, which if he had looked at my prior visit a week before he would have seen that I had already been on he may have decided otherwise. He basically just wanted to get me gone so he could leave. I left feeling like I was just another overreacting woman to another man and still feeling awful.

I was grateful to be able to walk in, however I dont think I got the service I needed. No blood work, no x-ray and any test I needed I was expected to pay for it at that time. Therefore, I was only diagnosed by the symptoms I provided then I was asked what was I given when I had these symptoms in the past. I was asked how much I weighed, but we walked right past a scale on the way to the room.

The entire staff was very good to me and my husband. We were traveling from out of town and they were very attentive and helped me get back on the road. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone. Thank you for helping me in my time of need. Very grateful!

The doctor, Nicole Mullan, was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned as was her assistant. Check in was very quick and much easier than expected. Overall the staff was very polite, friendly and professional. I hope this clearly states I would recommend strongly!

AFC Urgent Care Gunbarrel RdI seemed to have some sort of bug bite which was not healing very quickly. I decided to schedule online, no hassle very easy.Check in had already been done so again easy peasy. The staff at front are helpful and kind.I saw Elaina who was very professional and addressed the issue immediately- which I like. She prescribed the meds I needed and I was on my way. I liked her and would probably ask for her again. I highly recommend her.

This establishment is in the V.A. network which is Awesome! Very nice and friendly staff. Dr. was very straight forward with the plan of action for my care. Highly recommend this place. Will be my go to establishment from henceforth!!

The staff were amazing! Very nice, very well put together and charming. The doctor I saw was Dr. Hall and she was so sweet and informative and was very communicative. I enjoyed my visit a lot and will definitely recommend this location to anyone going forward.

My visit was good but I was disappointed to find that my prescriptions were called into the wrong pharmacy location. This is the second time this has happened and if I had not changed it on the check in site and told the nurse and the PA i would not have been so disappointed. The clinic was not busy when I was there but the traffic was extra mad crazy for me to go to the location they sent it to. The pharmacy went an xtra mile and rerouted the prescription for me.

Everything was great! From check in, to the nurses and doctors, everyone was patient and kind with my 5 year old non verbal Autistic daughter. This is hard to come by I highly recommend.

Amazing experience! We are from out of town and our young daughter cut her head open. They got her right in, fixed her up, and made sure she was comfortable the whole time. Every staff member we met was incredibly kind and professional. Thank you so much for helping our kiddo!

Fast, friendly staff. The doctor didn’t recommend anything that she felt like I didn’t really need. She also suggested other things than just medications. Like vitamins and fluids and supplements which I appreciate in a doctor.

The 2 ladies at the front desk were absolutely amazing but the doctor was horrible. I don’t remember his name but I do know he’s the supervisor. I’ll never return to that urgent care no matter if my leg were about to fall off.

I have not been feeling well for a couple of days these ladies really did a amazing job taking care of me. Jill was absolutely perfect, very understanding & seemed like she genuinely cared about my well being! Connie took my blood & was extremely proficient and careful, some people have a hard time getting blood from me, but she was a pro! Also Kerri really made me feel at home she was so sweet I was kind of upset that expresscare was closed today but I was so GLAD I came here instead. I Met some incredible women today. I WILL be back!! Front desk woman was extremely welcoming as well.

Emily and Reagin were both very kind and understanding. The front desk staff were welcoming as well. I didn’t wait long, and I was very pleased with the way I was treated. I always choose AFC when I can.

It was a great visit!! Did not take long at all took me back ran my test and I was out. The doctor was really nice as well as a CMA. Thank you very much.

I came into AFC after 3 weeks of suffering from excruciating pain due to sciatica. The staff were very understanding and made it so easy for me to get checked in due to my pain. The wait time to see the doctor was less than an hour and I was so thankful as I was in terrible pain. I received excellent care and now my pain is finally gone. I cannot thank the staff and doctors here enough. The best!

Love this AFC location! In and out under an hour, friendly staff from check in to the doctor. Doctors really seem to take your symptoms seriously.

Best medical visit I think I’ve ever had. The whole staff was absolutely amazing even though I know it was at the end of their shift. Can’t not thank them enough for being so kind while I was in pain.100% recommending them to everyone.

They saw me pretty quickly but I was charged quite a bit out of pocket considering they really didn’t do anything to treat me.

Every time we experience Urgent Care the employees and the doctors are always courteous professional and they treat you with the utmost respect when they see you! I highly recommend Urgent Care on Gunbarrel Road!

3 year old ear infection, very friendly and quick. Tried to comfort my little one as much as possible. Always bring her here if its nothing severe.

This office is well-run. The check-in process was efficient, the wait was reasonable, and the staff were both professional and kind. I definitely recommend them to others.

Most of the doctors are professional and really show empathy and concern for the patients. The last doctor I seen here was rude. She lacked empathy and I could tell she did not want to be at work. I left my visit feeling ignored, disrespected, and discriminated against.

This is the place to go for quick, accurate treatment. This was my 3 or 4th time here; all for different problems. Once again, I was properly diagnosed, given the correct meds and Im feeling much better.

I am from out of state and needed to have my son seen for a high fever. We were so impressed with the care we received. We arrived 15 minutes before closing & we were still checked in right away. We saw Reagin who was absolutely amazing. She was so proactive in helping us figure out what was going on, so thorough in her examination, even though we were her last patient & she was just an incredible provider. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone in the area. We were in & out in about an hour, even with lab swabs and xrays. You never wish to have to go to urgent care while on vacation, but all the staff made it such a great experience despite the circumstances. I am so grateful for the care my son received here. 11/10.

Great visit, with a short wait time, and genuine concern from the provider and staff during my visit- and though they haven’t called yet- I like the fact that every time I have needed to visit the walk-in clinic, they have always followed up within a few days with a phone call to see how I’m doing. The wait was not long, it was an easy process and I loved the provider. She took a lot of time with me and was so helpful. She even had me download the discount RX app and pulled up the meds for me and showed me how to get the discounts for them. I would DEFINITELY go back here!

Visit was very quick and efficient. Everyone from the front desk to triage to physicians assistant were friendly and professional.

We have visited this location several times before and always been pleased until our most recent visit at the end of August 2024. I suspected my husband had Covid or the Flu since I could not get his high temperature to break in 48 hours or so. We visited this location and check in was fine and the nurse who swabbed him for the test was fine. When the NP walked in she told us he had Covid and to stay in bed and wear it out and take Tylenol. I expressed to her I had been giving him Tylenol and Ibuprofen for the last 48 hours and couldn’t get his temperature under control and she still told me the same thing. It almost seemed as if she wasn’t worried that I couldn’t get his temperature under control.When we left I was still worried and contacted our PCP after hours and told them the “treatment” plan we were given and they did not agree with that at all since the temperature wasn’t under control and he had been feeling rotten for many days prior. They called in something that is being given to treat Covid in adults and within 24 hours he was almost like a new person. My husband did make a full recovery once he completed the prescribed medication.I don’t know why the NP didn’t prescribe the prescription that our PCP did (maybe she doesn’t like to call in things) but we won’t be back to this location more than likely.

Very pleased. Once in the room thinks were pretty quick. Nice doctors will listen to all you concerns and answer all the questions.

Have visited this location twice (my husband has been once) For both of us, we get the question from the PA “what do you want us to do?” Well if we are very sick & requesting antibiotics or steroid, why does Urgent Care exist if they don’t want to do anything to help? Also, my debit card was charged 3 weeks after my appointment without my consent or ever receiving a bill as to what was due. Not going back to this location

Staff was nice. Wait was short. Both the doctor and nurse were very pleasant and thorough. I always am treated well at the facility. Thats why I come back.

I have used this place a few times. They have always seen me within a reasonable time frame. The staff is courteous, professional and helpful.

Very helpful and nice people. Had a problem getting the copay covered but they solved it in a very reasonably timely manner. The only reason im leaving a 4 star is rhe wait time. They are all very nice and hard working but i did wait over an hour. In a walk in clinic it’s normal to wait bc there are other people in line but I wish there was one more nurse who can do certain tests to eliminate all of the stress falling on one nurse. I dont mind waiting for good service which it was i was in and out quick as soon as i got back. Overall great place but another nurse would alleviate wait times

My visit was nothing short of satisfactory. The staff was very friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Connie . She was very nice and made sure I got everything I needed.

Fast quick service was in and out in under an hour. Previously had went to FastPace and was there over and hour and never saw a physician so I left to come here. So needless to say I will be back to AFC if ever I need urgent care again.

These people are the real deal! I was treated with respect and with genuine concern and compassion! I would HIGHLY recommend them. Ive had bad experiences with other places but from now on this will be my go too for walk in care. Update! Still having a great experience with this urgent care. They truly care about their patients! Jillian Yeager is such a kind and attentive provider. I was in pain and hadn’t felt like myself in about a week and as I was describing my symptoms to her, she was very sympathetic and made me feel heard and safe. She prescribed me an antibiotic and I felt so much better within 3 days! Very grateful for her and all of the staff at AFC Gunbarrel.

This place is SLOW. I am the only one in line and I’ve already waited 45 minutes.And this place has crazy high prices.Do not recommend.

My doctor visit yesterday was excellent. The steroid shot, the antibiotic you prescribed and the vitamin C and zinc all seem to be helping.

Very pleased with the care and service of the entire staff. Id highly recommend this location to all my family and friends.

Let me start out by saying that I have no problem with the care that I received here. The problem I have is when it comes to billing. They billed my insurance for urgent Care on a follow-up from a primary care visit. Simple mistake, I understand that mistakes do happen. I have spoken with their billing department several times the problem is they outsource it to a foreign country and they speak very poor English. Literally all they have to do is resubmit the bill to the insurance with the right billing code. The people I am talking to I am guessing by accident or probably in India and do not seem to understand what I am asking them to do. They did finally resubmit the bill that they resubmitted it exactly like they did the first time. The other problem is I have gotten three texts from them today about the bill with different amounts on them. So all in all I would say the care you receive is good but their administration and billing are an absolute nightmare. Bottom line is I will not be going back in the future simply because of the huge headache that it has caused me trying to get the bill corrected.

I was possibly dealing with cellulitis and/or a blood clot. I was seen quickly and given a thorough examination. I was advised to go to the ER. I feel very blessed to still be here.

I had a mandatory drug screening and physical to be done for my employer and the staff was amazing. Quick. efficient and very friendly. Connie was amazing and took care of all of my needs. highly recommend this facility and Im glad its so close to home for future visits.

Ive been here four or five times since this was previously Doctors Express. I echo almost all the sentiments here in the reviews. All staff members, from the administrative assistants, to the nurses are very friendly. The waiting room and offices are always spotless. Dr. Ballard has such a pleasant disposition and genuinely cares. Even if you dont have the good fortune of seeing her, the other doctors who rotate are excellent. Great place to go if you cant quickly get a same-day appointment with your PCP when you likely just need a prescription at your local pharmacy for a non-serious illness or to be forwarded for an MRI. Waiting room times arent bad given its an Urgent Care practice. Longest Ive ever had to wait was about 75 minutes. All the other times, Ive been taken back there in less than 30.

I’m new to the Chattanooga area. When I recently came down with some sinus issues a friend suggested I make an appointment with AFC on Gunbarrel Rd. I was able to easily make an appointment via the website and arrived 40 minutes later. Was seen within 10 minutes of arrival time and out the door with a diagnosis within 45 minutes. I highly recommend and will use them again myself!

Went in for Covid and post-op wound care. Was feeling really awful, and staff was kind and patient with me. Visit was fairly efficient and thorough.

Always a good experience at AFC. The doctors see you quickly. Can X-ray you onsite or refer you to a more advanced diagnostic center if needed.

First time to this clinic as I cut my thigh just above the knee. The staff was very helpful while I was checking in. Once done I waited maybe 5 minutes before taken to an exam room for care. I was given the best care and ended up with 8 stitches. I will return to this clinic the next time I need emergency or medical care.

NP Sarah, nurse Connie and Front Desk Sydney were absolutely a pleasure! My son had to come in for suture removal and they made him so comfortable! Thank you all!

I had a good visit! The wait wasn’t long and I received the proper care.

Everyone was very nice but I waited over an hour to get called into the exam room and almost 2 hours after getting there before seeing dr. All in all I was there 4 hours to get an exray of my leg.

We made an appointment online, got there 15 minutes before that and still had to wait an hour and 20 minutes to be seen.That being said, the provider that we saw was through and excellent.

Went in the a very sore throat and headaches; which turned out to be a viral  infection. I have been there a few times, but today was an exceptional visit. Great staff took care of me.Janey triaged me and she has excellent bedside manners and got me ready to see Dr. Hall.This is great place to walk- in when not feeling your best.

I was very impressed with the staff.They are a full service doctor office with x-ray machines on site, which a lot of the walk in clinics do not have. Changed my review from five stars to three because my wife went there with pneumonia and the did not diagnose it correctly, due to the fact the x-ray person was not available (without telling initially). We still had to pay the full amount (via insurance). We ended up going to the Emergency Room at the hospital immediately after our visit to receive the correct/complete diagnosis.

Follow up from a previous visit as always the staff was kind and professional and quick. I was in and out in a very short period of time. I love this better than my primary doctor

Someone get this place a medal 🥇 I have had so many crummy experiences with urgent cares in the past that despite the reviews, I was expecting the same from this one. I was pleasantly surprised. Every member of the staff was kind and caring. I do not remember if the person who attended us was a doctor or a NP (her last name is Ballard), she had the bedside manner of a caring friend. She seemed genuinely caring of what we were experiencing and very knowledgeable about treatment. My young teen daughter and I were both seen and she was quite caring with my daughter as well. After insurance, copays were around $25/each and all of the testing we had done ended up being approximately $25/each as well. I highly recommend this location.

I was greeted with lots of smiles and concern as to the purpose of my visit.Paperwork was pretty simple and easy to complete as this was my first visit.Got in pretty quickly to see the PA, who went into great detail about my issue.Very pleasant experience and I will visit again if I need urgent care.

This is the second time to visit AFC Chattanoga and both times I was very pleased. I had another respiratory thingv going on. The first one had been hanging on for a while, leaving me very weak. The person who saw me was very knowledgeable and kind, ĵust what I needed, and she gave me a steroid injection.My visit a few days ago for another upper respiratory illness was also very satisfactory. All staff were more than friendly and kind and the medical technician who saw me was knowledgeable and compassionate. After checking me over, she also gave me a steroid injection plus sent a script to my pharmacy for an antibiotic to fill if my symptoms worsened. Five stars!

I has some difficulty breathing thinking it possibly could be pneumonia. I made an appointment came in and was seen in 10 minutes. Check in was a breeze. Both Janine Kennedy and Emily Keylor were total consumate professionals. Dr. Kennedy prescribed medication that has me feeling 💯 percent better today! I tried pressing the ❤️ would you.....but it wouldnt let me.

The woman who took my information and vitals was extremely professional friendly nice and caring.

Lovely experience! Very kind front desk and nurses working in the back. Not one person was off putting the entire visit. Walk in appointment didn’t take very long and even gave you a link to see where you were in line! Fast and straightforward service, I got an ankle X-ray to make sure I wasn’t broken. Office fee is 125 which they definitely deserve for being so helpful and fast and the X-ray was only 92 for a 3 view! Very very affordable for somebody without insurance. Will come back if ever I have another issue (: thanks guys!!!

Experience good except there was an hour and 25 minute wait in the lobby. Total time was 2 hours 15 minutes.

Everyone in the staff I give a five star to. Starting with The sweet young lady at the front desk that went out of her way to help me with my Worker’s Comp. claim just So I could be seen. Then The nurse that took my information and my blood pressure was caring and kind. And ended off w the lady doctor that seen me. She was understanding and sympathetic. I had already seen two doctors for the same injury at A different clinic . They was nowhere near as patient as this lady. She listened and cared. The others seem to just want me out of there. She also helped get information for my daughter that is breast-feeding and needs medication for anxiety. My daughter was not even with me. She did not have to go out of her way to do this. So I highly recommend this to anybody! They are exceptional

I’m a review junkie. I base a lot of decisions on reviews, and post reviews when I feel they are very deserved. I also have been sick a lot lately and have visited several urgent cares in the last 6 months. I can honestly say that, by far, this AFC Urgent Care blows the rest out of the water. Hardly comparable. The staff here are so friendly, kind, and down to earth. Even more so than an office that sees the same patients on a regular basis. I was listened to genuinely, and treated with care and compassion by everyone I encountered. I will never ever go anywhere else!

Everytime I’ve come into this establishment I have been incredibly pleased.  They have the friendliest staff and welcoming everyday.  Some of their visits are clearly not of the most welcoming topics and they go the extra mile to ensure the most comfortable and educational visit possible.

I was out of town and hurt my ankle. I saw on AFC Urgent Cares website that they had an x-ray machine. When we arrived, I wasnt sure if I could walk on so my husband went inside and asked about a wheel chair. They gave us the option to wait on the waiting room or to wait in the car. They had an online waiting room component where you could see how many people were ahead on you. They checked my insurance before treatment to make sure I was comfortable paying the price. They brought the wheelchair out to my car and rolled me into my medical room.The staff was nice, the process was easy, the facility was clean, and they had an x-ray machine on-site. Also thanks to them, I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip.I would highly recommend this urgent care.

Here visiting my sister on Vacation, my grandbaby became sick with a high fever. I brought her here and the staff was amazing. Being away from home with a sick child is a scarry situation, they made us feel welcomed and the staff from the front desk to the Doctor was absolutely AMAZING. I would recommend them to anyone that needs care!!!!

My younger brother who has mental health issues & has stage 4 cancer is living in a nursing home. I visit him every month or so. I live 8 hours away. This visit he could not hear! Ears clogged. I took him to an AFC urgent treatment. They saw him fairly quickly & treated him & were very professional & kind. He can hear once again!!! We were both very happy with the whole experience & the wonderful results. Thank you!!!

I had great service the minute I walked in. The receptionist greeted me warmly and was very helpful checking me in. I waited 10 minutes in the lobby, then went back to the exam room. I talked to the med tech who was very polite and caring. PA Genine came in and discussed my problem. She was very thorough, answered all of my questions, and prescribed the proper meds. I feel GREAT! 5 out of 5!

I feel the team worked well together. Wait times were good considering pt volume. I was tested with a nasal swab following diagnostic questioning, the provider listened to my lungs and was able to check visually for s/s of acute illness since the XRay team was there at the time of my visit. Any medication was discussed thoroughly, antibiotic use was discussed (to finish the regimen as directed “unless adverse reactions occurred” to lessen the possibility of antibiotic resistant population growth). They always check up on me after each visit. Since medical interactions can be uncomfortable socially, I do believe I felt more comfortable since this was not my first visit, but that being said, if i had any questions, the staff was kind and willing to find out what was needed. Thank you for your continued care.

Both Kari and Reagan were very kind during my visit! Kari made sure to keep a lighthearted atmosphere as I was clearly very panicked about my injury. Reagan explained everything she was doing to keep me informed as I was unable to watch my finger get glued back together. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was that I did have to wait a while with a bleeding wound (this could have been my fault though as I said I was told the bleeding had slowed when I checked in). Overall made a terrible experience more bearable!

Absolute best experience! They were incredibly kind and efficient. I could tell they genuinely cared I was in pain and got to me very quickly and made me feel extremely comfortable. 10/10 recommend!!!

The doctor was awkward and left us to wait an hour for her to exam the patient. Wait-list stated 0 patients before us. No other patients on the exam side we were on. Nursing staff was timely, kind, and efficient. What took the doctor so long to enter the exam room is at question.

I went there this afternoon because of my sciatica. Everybody there was very helpful and very kind. Beth schoocraft. The only thing was I needed a x-ray on my back. It was about 430 or 5 when I was there. Was told the X-ray tech had already left. I will have to pay another 75 to get one. I do not think that is fair to me

Dr. Ballard is the most caring and compassionate doctor. My daughter loves seeing her, and she always provides high quality care. Janie also did a fantastic job in triage!Cierra was so kind during the check in process!

Highly recommend. They are fast and so friendly. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurse to the PA made me feel so at ease and taken care of. Being at an urgent care is already a stressful situation but the staff had us laughing and feeling comfortable right away. I can’t thank them enough.

Dr. Ballard did a very amazing job at taking care of my 3 year old while we went in today. She communicated everything she was doing to my daughter and made her feel like a patient instead of a child. Definitely recommend going here for any urgent care needs.

I went there with a cough the docter came in and said it was just allergies. But the cough didnt go away so I finally went to my doctor and she did a 10 minute test and found out I have strep. Its a waste of money going there I hope that people read this and decide not to go youll be wasting your money

Wonderful urgent care! All staff from start to finish were caring and courteous. The facility is clean and the PA who treated me was very thorough. Total time for visit was 55 minutes and that included tests that took 15 mins for results. Amazing!

AFC Urgent Care Chattanooga on Gunbarrel is the best. They are very quick no hours waiting. The staff is very nice and respectful this was my 2nd time going and I will continue to. I recommend highly recommend them.

Tamra Hughes, MD not only failed to identify a rupture in my child’s ear drum, but the clinic as a whole incorrectly documented his data, sent in the incorrect dosing, and failed to return phone calls.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

They are very good, kind , professional and caring on how you feel. They listen to you and best part is they take there time. They also have x-ray machine there which is great. So if you need an x-ray they can do that. They are concerned about you. I went to the one on Gunbarrel and been there more than once, and everytime they have been great. I will continue to go back. I have been to this location twice now. First time for my 2 year old daughter getting a Lego stuck up her nose, they were so sweet with her and tried to make her as comfortable as possible. And today but this time for me. Everyone there has been extremely nice, professional and helpful. Location feels very clean as well. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been to this place a handful of times & had decently alright experiences, aside from the fact that I have never - not even once - made it out of here in less than 2-2.5 hours. Ever.I went to them sick last Thursday morning. Staff was great, Jillian (PA) was great, diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection/bronchitis, gave me meds, sent me on my way. I called Saturday morning because I was actually getting worse instead of better - I asked if there was anything else they could do or call in for me, hoping that I wouldn’t have to go back in to see them since I’d been there 2.5 hours waiting on Thursday. They checked with the doctor & the doctor said, and I kid you not, “we can’t do anything so go to the emergency room.”Telling someone with an easily treatable condition to go to the ER is 1) lazy, 2) an insult to the doctors & nurses at the ER dealing with auto accident injuries & things of intense caliber, and 3) an insult to ME because an upper respiratory infection does not belong at the ER and neither does my 8 hours waiting or an $8,000 ER bill.Obviously I didn’t go to the ER and obviously, I have progressively gotten sicker. And now I have to find another doctor to go to today, because they wouldn’t do their job and call me in a steroid or a longer antibiotic.To add insult to injury, the sheet they gave me said “please call us if your symptoms worsen” - and they called me Sunday & left a message “just to see how I was doing from my Thursday visit” 🤷‍♀️ I guess they chose to ignore my call on Saturday, crying for additional help.I’d give zero stars if I could. Avoid this place.
